The 38 Best Restaurants in Copenhagen, Denmark | Eater

"You’ll find some of Copenhagen’s most sought after rooms in the Hotel Sanders, just around the corner from Nyhavn. It’s especially evident why the hotel is so popular at Bar Tata, a decadent cocktail playground with table service. Head bartender Mathias Broksø runs the show, overseeing a drinks menu that changes seasonally, with sections like “Flowers After the Show” honoring the hotel’s founder Alexander Kølpin, once dubbed the world’s best solo ballerino back in the ’90s. Bartenders manage to create cocktails that are both boozy and delicate, making this a perfect stop during a night out." - Anna Norström

The bar has a very nice relaxed atmosphere. The service personnel we initially got was very friendly and calm, but the one who came after and served had an off attitude which didn't fly for us. The cocktails however tasted really nice and would definitely recommend this place for a drink or two.

This is my favourite cocktail bar In Copenhagen. Looks very cozy , elegant and super for stay outside in the summer . It’s quiet and nice street without crowds of tourists . Waiters are very attentive , the food is tasty . It’s right in the city centre close to to the opera theatre and I can easily park my car in a green zone and charge it . It’s very convenient for me . I recommend this place to anyone.

Tasty cocktails. Well balanced. I’m not keen on pre-batched cocktails that don’t use fresh ingredients

Classy hotel bar with a great drinks menu, super welcoming team and nice atmosphere. Glass of bubble and oysters, or dry martini, you won’t be disappointed 🖤

Sat at the bar and had a couple of cocktails that were very well made and was kept company by the friendly bartenders. Very welcoming and low key, with a good mix of classic cocktails and new creations.

Went to the otherwise lovely hotel bar for a nightcap with my family. We were greeted nicely and seated at a table. I had informed we would be 4 people and that 2 of them had went to the toilet. We were given 2 glasses of water and the menus were thrown at our table by the women waitress (she could have been a manager). We were given our orders accordingly and atmosphere was lovely. When I asked to have less ice in the drink I ordered , the (same) waitress reacted as if I had asked for something unthinkable, and started having a serious concering attitude towards the whole table. She delivered the next drink (as requested) with less ice, but in a much smaller glass (understandably) but without the ordinary decour (grapefruit). Upon delivery of that drink, I asked for another espresso martini, and asked for her name. She laughed at me and replied “my name?” “I don’t have a name”, and made a “game of throne” reference(?). What kind of service is this? She was incredible demeaning and acted unimaginable weird considering a service employee. She made the whole party feel weird and very weird. How could you not give your name and work in this industry? I shall never return. I belive eventually she kiddingly said her name was “Mario”.

Popped into this bar for a post dinner drink on a busy friday. I had an old fashioned and it was made with whiskey rather than Bourbon, something I wished I had been told before hand. Service was unusual, I felt like maybe I was intruding on a staff party. 3 +staff members were french and were constantly talking quite loundly in french with a bunch of their friends that were in and around the bar area, making them taste special bottles just received etc... Unfortunately they also kept on bumping into me the whole time. I made a hasty retreat!

Had great cocktails here. Even ones that sounded too sugary were very well balanced and delightfully boozy. The staff was wonderful and we had a great time chatting with them all!

Yelp
We were staying at the Sanders Hotel and found out that the bar was exceptional. The staff is friendly and d skilled in making wonderful cocktails. We tried drinks off their custom menu and found that they were amazing. Especially liked the Charley's Cantada...special thanks to Nils who looked after us each time we visited the bar. Taya is a good one.

Yelp
Came here for drinks and dessert and couldn't have been more pleased. I had a strawberry beverage with the chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream and damn was it good. Service was very nice and helpful. If the bar is full, go to hotel sanders where they have an outdoor heated courtyard that is covered!

Yelp
Easily the chicest bar in Copenhagen. It's a small jewel box of beautiful people, abundant good taste, and expertly made cocktails.
