Food was amazing!!! Everything we ordered was on point and definitely worth the wait. It was busy and took about 30 min to be seated but the food came out quickly. The pineapple upside down pancake was amazing. And the butter was delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. The servers and gentleman host were very nice and conversational. The entrance is in the BACK of the building. Not an issue in any way, but many people were trying to come in through the door in the street. Lol

This spot doesn’t seem like much outside but inside it’s a different vibe. We waited a little over an hour. Once we got ordered we did notice that people who were sat after us were getting their food before us. However, when we did get our food, it was delicious. Made to order and so much flavor. We also ordered a strawberry lemonade and in my opinion it is by far the best one I’ve had. Now knowing wait time info, I can plan better for another visit.

Very clean modern simple farmhouse vibe. The main entrance by the street is closed and the entrance is a bit hidden in the back by the alley facing the hotel. Very delicious americanized Mexican fusion brunch spot! We got chilequilles and Huevos ahogados. Recommend Fancy 3 premium ghiredelli Hot Chocolate for hot cocoa lovers. Horchatta latte is a MUST get. Also love the iced water comes with a beautiful touch of dried blood orange slice. This adorable spot is also pet friendly with water bowl and dog treats. Service is very great. Highly recommend this brunch restaurant.

Food is made fresh, so it will take some time to get your order. However, it's worth the wait!! Staff is very attentive, and the food is really good!! If you're hungry, try the pork chop (it's sooo flavourful and grilled to perfection)!!

Absolutely amazing atmosphere and people, overhyped, flavorless, and tasteless food. Yesterday we went to Tata’s Cafe when we noticed a long line of people outside almost every time we went go to charge the car. Yesterday our server was amazing and kind, we ordered the Chorizo burrito and Birria Chilaquiles along with a side of bacon and eggs. When we got our food it was a 10/10 for the visual. But as I tasted the chorizo I noticed it had no chorizo flavor or strong and bold seasonings, ontop of that the potatoes tasted like they were sitting out for a while before getting put into the burrito. The birria chilaquiles was even more overhyped. The birria was tasteless and another herb was overpowering the birria instead. Beautiful presentation of food, amazing service, but the food was overhyped. I would return not for the food, but for the atmosphere.

Food and service was excellent. Recommend their dirty horchata that comes with biscoff biscuit and enfrijoladas. I would recommend that you call and make reservation as wait times for a table is over 30 minutes- we waited 40 minutes but food was good for a first time. The entrance is through the back and so is parking next to the hotel and police department. It's definitely a place to make a trip back next time in town.

Tata’s is a strange little spot to grab brunch. The food is pretty good, and they even have an impressively decent latte. The problems are really more about how weird it is to get in to the restaurant, and the service. The front door is locked, and you have to go in through what feels like an employee only back door. Really disorienting and confusing. And the service is okay, but it was much slower than I would have expected for how few people were there when we showed up. Overall, it’s a good bite and coffee if you’re staying at the hotel next door, but I don’t think I’d go out of my way for it.

First time customer and was very satisfied with the food and the service. will definitely be coming again! I ordered the chorizo potato burrito and it was HUGE, enough for 2 people. It was delicious. My partner ordered French toast with fresh fruit and that was also 10/10. Pictured are the caramel and mocha latte. Also a hit! Overall 10/10 experience highly recommend

Couldn't wait for a return to Tata's Cafe bringing a friend for her first time. We were lucky enough to find a parking spot, which can be tricky. No wait for a table too. We love coming here and the food is great. But this is the second time I come and I ask for my eggs sunny side up and they always come out over medium. Today it took the server a really long time to even acknowledge us. We got sat and they sat a few tables after us. The tables that got sat after us got helped first. We had to ask the lady in the front who was our server because ewe had been sitting for a while and no service. Finally a server came by and we told her we were ready for all of it. She said no, let's start with drinks. I kinda chucked and said we're ready for EVERYTHING. I ordered a hot vanilla latte and 4 waters. Then I ordered my daughter some kids pancakes, my wife ordered and so did my son. Then I ordered some chilaquiles with the sunny side up. And i specifically told the server I didn't want them over easy, that I wanted them sunny side up. She said still raw on top. And I said yes. When they brought my latte, they brought out an iced latte. And when she brought my food, we eggs were over medium. Not even over easy! And then she asked me if they were good! Umm no! They're cooked! After bringing my sons, my wife's and my food, we waited for my daughter's food. And it never came. I had to wave the server down and asked her for my the pancakes. She argued with me and continued to tell me that we didn't order the pancakes. Maybe she shouldn't be taking so many tables. She's probably over whelmed and needs to slow down and focus a bit more.

waited for around 45 minutes, but it's a small gem that serves up good food and service. i wished i took pictures but i was excited to just dig in after the wait. the chorizo burrito is so good, i believe you can get either or red/ green or both sauces. it's also a big portion so half can definitely be split and also have an alcohol menu that i will be trying soon!

Food is delicious, service is amazing, it's such a cute set up i love the decorations . Yes you have to wait but time goes by so fast by looking around and talking with the people you went with . We keep going back to try different dishes and so far it has not disappoint. Recommend

Food: I got the chilaquiles verde with steak and it was probably one of the best chilaquiles I've had in a while! It was perfectly spicy and the chips were still crispy, my mouth is watering writing this review LOL! I also tried their Cafe de la Olla Latte and it was just okay, nothing special and I think they used too much milk as that's all I tasted, but I'd definitely try some of their other lattes! Service/Ambiance: The food came out HOT so you know it's fresh and made to order! The wait was not too long but if you have a bigger party, make sure your whole party is there in order to get seated. I went for my birthday and they brought out a cute dessert/cake thing with ice cream and fruits. I'll definitely be back and I highly recommend!!

I've been to Tatas 3 times. And all 3 times the service was great and the food was top tier 10/10. Dank food. Will keep going. My new go to spot.

Summary: fantastic food and coffee, excellent service, and affordable prices with solid portions make this place a must-visit. Highly recommend the breakfast burritos and horchata latte. There is plenty of parking in the lots in back, where the entrance is. You may have to wait for a table during primetime, but it is worth it. My wife and I went here for brunch on NYE around 11:45am and found parking easily. Inside, most tables were occupied, but there were a few groups in the waiting area, too. We put our names in and waited for about 25 minutes before being seated. Once seated, we scanned the menu QR code at the table and determined what we wanted to order. We started with an horchata latte (which was AMAZING), and waited about 15 minutes for our food to come out. I ordered the veggie breakfast burrito with avocado and both green and red sauces (delicious), while my wife ordered the loaded tots with a hot link (also very good). As you can see, the portions are huge And we ended up taking home some leftovers. The prices by comparison, are incredibly affordable for the quality and quantity of food. Throughout the meal, the servers were bustling around from table to table and checking in on us. I did have to flag down a server to get the check, but it was still a wonderful meal for both of us. We will definitely be back.

BEST service. Plenty of parking. Good prices (not cheap, but not outrageous). The place is not wow fancy, but it is clean and it has its own vibe in a good way. The food is delicious. The ambience is inviting. I went there with my friend and we sat there and talked for hours. The server was attentive and didn't mind that we enjoyed ourselves there for such a long time. I am definitely coming back. I am happy that it's not too far from home because I can make this my new "go-to" place.

Went here last Saturday and it was BUSY! It took maybe 15-20 minutes for our party of 3 to be seated and then maybe another 15-20 minutes before we got our food. The wait was also a bit before we got our checks as well so we were tired and ready to go by the end of our meal. Anyways, I split the steak and frites and the chorizo burrito with my mom and they were both very yummy - especially the burrito. I would definitely go back just for the chorizo burrito again. The chorizo was the good kind, and the filling was all very delicious. The pickled onions also complimented it fantastically. The monte cristo was fine, but didn't stand out to me really.

My bf and I recently wanted to try this place out and we ordered take out. I ordered the chilaquiles and my bf ordered the meat burrito from this girl named Paola taking our order. She quoted us that it was going to take about 20 to 30 mins. We ended up waiting an hour for our food. My bf had to check in the front desk to see why it was taking so long and our food has been ready for who knows how long in their counter. I already had a feeling our food was cold and sure enough it was. My chilaquiles I ordered were dry and cold. The burrito didn't even have melted cheese anymore, it was super dry.

Just came here for the first time. The entrance is in the back I really liked the golden milk latte. The chicken and waffles plate was not my favorite. It was pretty bland. It's massive, but lacked flavor. It's honestly the reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. My girlfriend got the chilaquiles which she really liked. She also got the mimosa flight which was like 9 mimosas in 3 haha. It took her over an hour and I had to help her finish. They have cumbia music playing which is a vibe. The servers were funny and sweet. I'd come back to try something new.

The service was excellent. The prices were reasonable. The espresso martini was good and strong and the enfrijoladas taste sooo good, I felt like I was in Mexico! And my mom loved her avocado toast! We will definitely be going back and I'm getting exactly what I got the first time.

What an amazing spot in the South Bay! Definitely deceiving from the outside but highly recommended. We came on a Friday afternoon so we had no wait, but after our brunch, I would not doubt they are busy on weekends. We ordered a bit an everything on the menu and just be ready for portion size. All of our plates were huge, so you either come hungry or you can definitely share. I personally ordered the green chilaquiles which had a soft kick of spice to it but appreciate that they drown the tortilla chips in their sauce. I paired it with a pink latte which has unique combination of Our own blend of Organic Beet Powder, Cinnamon, Ginger, Clove, Cardamom, Himilayan Sea Salt and Black Pepper. (sweetened with house made Madagascar Vanilla bean syrup). Definitely liked the drink but it just got warm too quick (ordered it iced). The table also shared a mimosa carafe which was definitely enough for 4 people. The photographs inside and just the overall vibe is great. Really great place to meet up with folks over a great brunch. Customer service was also really nice. My friend forgot his sweater there and they were willing to hold onto it. There was no complains about any of our dishes or drinks. Check out this place ASAP! *note: their entrance is at the back of the building, not the front.*

Every time I have visited I have tried a different plate and they all have been so delicious. Each plate is both flavorful and bountiful. The staff is friendly and speedy and the place is always clean and well organized. I would definitely recommend this place. It is a must try!

Stopped in for a late breakfast last weekend and was really impressed with the food and service. Was busy but everyone seemed like they were taken care of by the staff and I got plenty of offers to refill my coffee. The chilaquiles with Birria was delicious. A must try spot in the South Bay. I've been here a few times and tried a good chunk of the menu and each item is not only impressive but large in portion so usually there are leftovers. The pink latte is a must try. I'm a sucker for the breakfast burrito personally but the French toast is also note worthy. I plan to try the birria tacos one day

Food was excellent so yummy. The service was grate nice people and the place its clean and really nice.

I already expected 100% satisfaction. Although we've waited for 40 minutes for a weekend brunch, it's better than other overrated popular brunch spots. These is what we have eaten: 1. Veggie Burrito-cheese crusted flour tortilla made the difference with the spicy mayo dressing . 2. Enfrijoladas - black bean puree and all the other ingredients was off the hook. 3. Chilaquiles - with both green and red sauces, so good! 4. 2 sets of Mimosa flights consisted of mango, berry and peach. We had a chat with the owner and chef, his staff was amazing and knowledgeable. I can't say anything bad about this experience. Parking on the weekend can be difficult but there are options like street parking.

I love coming to Tata's! We came at 9:30 am and were seated by 10 am. I just wish the food came shortly after the drink, but it's a small detail. The food is always amazing 10/10 including the drinks! Worth the wait!

Went to have breakfast on a Sunday morning and it was so packed. Be prepared for a 30 minute wait at least but it is worth it. The chilaquiles were good, but the green salsa was a little sour. The red sauce was a lot better in my opinion. The meat that was also a little tough, but overall the dish was good. I would like to try some other food as it sounded and looked delicious.

We had burgers, huevos rancheros and chicken and waffles. All delicious! Chicken and waffles is reminiscent of Thanksgiving in the best way. That maple syrup is perfect. Huevos rancheros is perfect mix of black beans, queso fresco, eggs, ranchero sauce and avocado and crispy tostadas. Burgers were cooked to order and the fries are yummy! Oh and the cafe de olla is great! Note: parking/entrance is in the back. The service was solid and it's so cute in there. Super chill.

One of my go to places for brunch! I wish they had poached eggs so if you don't want your eggs cooked with oil, this is my only complaint. The 24oz. pork chop is outstanding! Service is sometimes slow, nice atmosphere. Their house potatoes are very tasty. They even have a margarita flight!

I went there last month and I was meaning to leave a review but forgot till it showed up on my yelp again. Anyways i ordered the birria chilaquiles and no words can describe how tasty it was 1000/10 recommend. I went on a weekday early morning so it wasn't real busy which I loved and both waitresses were really nice.

Thank you Yelp for guiding us to do breakfast takeout from Tata's! We called in our order for takeout and glad we did, for about 18 folks waiting for tables. My favorite: the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito which truly is big enough for two. We also had a customized omelette with spinach, onion, cheddar and the chilaquiles. Large, large portions and all so tasty. Modern and clean renovated spot. Entrance is in the back--a little hard to find. Great green and red sauces too. We watched them making artful coffees and lattes with stencil designs. Beautiful and bountiful.

I took my best friend to brunch over the weekend (Hawthorne area) in LA and decided to try this place. The customer service is top notch. I ordered an appetizer, the pancake sampler, and the chorizo burrito. The avo toast with salmon was delicious and crisp. A bit too much arugula, but the salmon brought it all together. The pancake sampler was so fulfilling and every sauce was unique to itself; my favorite was the banana. Even the butters are made with the pancake in mind. The burrito was humongous. The sauce was great and I loved the mix between the green sauce and red sauce. To drink, I ordered the pineapple juice and Chai latte, as well as the café de olla. Every drop was enjoyed. I even took one to go. So whether you're looking for refreshing or warm and comforting, you have got to try their drinks. Definitely returning in the future.

Outside it doesn't seem like much, but inside is where it's at. We waited a little over an hour so just expect that when going there. The food was worth the wait. Everything was made fresh and the birria chilaquiles with salsa verde didn't disappoint. I'm a sucker for strawberry lemonade and it was perfect for sharing. You can never go wrong with tots. We did however have to wait a while also for our food. We kept seeing everyone else who was sat after us get their food before us. However, like I mentioned the food was worth it. I would definitely be coming knowing what I know now.

This place is a little hole in the wall. Don't let the exterior of the location fool you the restaurant is very clean. Very delicious food tortilla soup is awesome and so is cafe de la olla and server Nancy & staff was great all were so attentive Portions are pretty big too

The portions are very large. I had the waffles and fried chicken. It had honey on it if you don't like honey make sure you tell them no honey . The place is small and cozy. Everyone is very nice and the waiters are very friendly. My vanilla latte was very very good. I enjoyed it.

I was recently in the area and was surprised to see this little hidden gem in Hawthorne. The establishment has some parking out front or in the rear behind the building next to the Tesla charging stations. Walking in through the back you'll be surprised to find this nicely decorated and adorned breakfast place. They had Spanish music playing and it was relatively busy for a random Tuesday, but the staff was on it. They were friendly and very attentive. What we ordered: Tata's latte with almond milk- beautifully made latte, the taste was good and did not need any additional sugar. It is also served with a cookie to dip into your latte. Chilaquiles- I asked for half red and green sauce and you get your choice of how you want your eggs cooked. The sauce used for the chilaquiles was very tasty, but I preferred the green sauce, it had just a tad more kick. I added a side of birria that came with consome. The birria beef was tender and had good flavor. The consome was served warm with cilantro and onion. Overall very good portion. Will be back to try other dishes.

The food was terrific. However, the service was terrible! It took over 15 minutes for one of the servers to acknowledge us and another 20 minutes for her to serve us our drinks. As a side note, we just ordered orange juice and a coffee. It took almost an hour for our food to be served as well. I won't be coming back anytime soon.

Located off busy Hawthorne Blvd a few miles southeast of LAX, Tata's offers some of the most authentic and delicious homemade cuisine around. Family-owned and run, Tata's serves up incredibly generous and flavorful breakfast and lunch options Monday - Sunday: 8am - 3pm. After looking over all of the Yelp reviews, I decided to stop in to have one of the favorite dishes: Huevos Rancheros. At $14, this is an amazingly affordable and wonderfully layered masterpiece. The Tostadas are crispy and provide a flavorful foundation of Black Beans, Over Medium Eggs, Incredibly fresh and chunky Salsa, Queso Fresco, Avocado and Micro Greens. The rich flavor profile of all of the wonderful ingredients work so well together - it is quite a treat. Don't forget the coffee. Freshly made and wonderfully bold, at $2.50 a cup with unlimited refills, it's a steal. As I was enjoying my breakfast, the owner, Luis, was incredibly attentive and kind throughout service, even explaining the french toast, pancakes and large breakfast burritos that passed me from the kitchen on the way to salivating diners. For desert, Luis said that the Salvadorean Quesadilla was a family recipe from his late mother, who shared with the family before her passing. Served with Vanilla Ice Cream and Fruit, each portion is prepared with a 20-minute lead time. At only $6, this is one of the most affordable and delicious sweet treats you will find anywhere in Southern California. Served warm, the bread has a subtle crispy exterior and an almost soufflé-like interior. It's incredibly decadent and the perfect excuse to have ice cream for breakfast. A must! The decor is extremely warm and welcoming. About a dozen tables and a few counter spaces accommodate about 60 people when full, and this place can definitely be buzzing on a busy weekend during peach brunch hours. The bathrooms are very clean, the music (Lithium on SiriusXM) is solid and the overall service is very friendly and attentive. Plenty of free parking in back with the Marriott Courtyard. Tata's delivers on every key restaurant standard: homemade, delicious food prepared fresh and generously, incredible customer service, impeccable dining atmosphere and very affordable prices. What a wonderful experience. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Tata would be proud.

I mean one plate can be shared between multiple people! I enjoyed the pancake flight! My favorite was the pineapple upside down! The pork chop and sauce... YUM! The drinks were also amazing! Awesome place to stop by for brunch. Looks are deceiving on the outside, but once you walk in the ambiance and aroma will convince you otherwise. My family and I came on a Sunday afternoon for some late brunch. The place was pretty busy with a full waiting area. We ended up waiting about 40 min to be seated, but it was worth it. I would recommend going a little later (like 2pm) as the crowd dies down. We ordered my son the kids breakfast, which came with pancakes. My wife and I shared the breakfast burrito and french toast. Both were amazing and would highly recommend. You do have to eat the French toast while it's still hot because as it cools down the bread gets hard. They also have good coffe and i want to try their hot chocolate made with real chocolate. Hope you check this place out and enjoy!

You cannot go wrong with their burritos, they're amazing and r hey'll last you up to 2 meals. I had just finished playing soccer and couldn't even finish it. The service was on the slower side but it was busy so it's understandable and the food was worth the wait. The fries also tasted like McDonald's fries. I don't know if that's a plus for you, but it is for me
