TATEL Ibiza

At first glance, the restaurant makes a pleasant impression with its beautiful sea view and nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, that impression doesn’t last long. Upon entering, the staff immediately start reminding you that you can only stay for two hours. We understand that this is the restaurant’s policy, but why repeat it several times, without a smile and in such a strict manner? The biggest disappointment, however, was the quality of the food. The “Russo” salad, advertised with Kamchatka crab and black caviar, was drowned in store-bought mayonnaise with only tiny traces of crab and barely visible caviar. Absolutely tasteless and unappealing — I do not recommend it. The paella was another failure: having lived in Spain for many years, I have never had a worse paella. The rice was bitter, poorly cooked, and the meat was inedible — a complete disappointment. The fish baked in salt was fresh, but far from the quality it should have been: not juicy at all, even though it is usually hard to ruin such a dish. Overall, my rating is a 2 out of 5 for the price-to-quality ratio. The restaurant simply does not meet expectations. The only positive note was our waiter, who was polite and did his best to ensure that our anniversary dinner wasn’t completely ruined.

Our dinner at Tatel in Ibiza was overall a wonderful experience with a few hiccups worth noting. The ambiance and music were absolutely perfect, setting a comfortable and elegant tone for our party of eight. The service was attentive and friendly, though the flow of the evening felt a bit rushed once larger parties arrived, likely due to staffing and timing issues. The food was the highlight of the night, with several standout dishes that I’d highly recommend: • Burrata with honey and lavender – a must-try. Creamy, rich, and beautifully balanced with floral notes. • Truffled omelet – the star of the meal. Cooked to perfection with layers of flavor and depth. • Garlic shrimp – delicious, with just the right touch of spice. • Hand-cut Wagyu ham – melt-in-your-mouth and full of character. • Large macaroni with truffle and porcini mushroom sauce – al dente, earthy, and indulgent. • Lobster and caviar pasta – luxurious and well-prepared, with lobster pieces that complemented the dish perfectly. Other dishes were enjoyable but less memorable: • Duck ham salad – light and fresh, though not particularly standout. • Savory rice with prime beef chop – flavorful traditional rice, but the beef chops were slightly overcooked (medium-well). • Grilled rack of lamb – cooked to medium but lacked the bold seasoning one might expect. • Salmon – nicely prepared and consistent, though not as distinctive as some other plates. Overall, Tatel Ibiza is worth visiting for its atmosphere and several truly exceptional dishes. If the pacing of service can be smoothed out during busy nights, it has the potential to deliver a seamless fine-dining experience

This is a place you go to have decent food but it's really about fun! There are better places to enjoy food on the island but the atmosphere is what this place is about. Make sure to book a table in the main dining area where there is a bit of a dinner show with dancers and singer. Overall I would come back for the party!

Tatel Ibiza boasts a beautiful beachfront location that is truly picturesque. The ambiance is charming and offers a perfect setting for a leisurely meal by the sea. However, my experience with the service and food left much to be desired. The service was mediocre at best. Despite the lovely setting, the staff seemed inattentive and unenthusiastic. This lack of engagement was disappointing and detracted from the overall experience. As for the food, it was average. I ordered regular fries but received truffle fries instead, which was not only incorrect but also reflected inaccurately on the bill. This mix-up was frustrating and indicative of the attention to detail“or lack thereof“ in the kitchen and service. In terms of value for money, Tatel Ibiza falls short. The prices are quite steep considering the quality of service and food. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience, as the cost does not match the level of service and culinary satisfaction one would expect.

we went here last night a table of 4. We were late to our reservation, but tried calling 3 times and finally told them we would be late. We ate, the food was not great. Somehow got caught into eating a sampler dessert that was 60$. (Not good either) After dinner, we wanted to stay watch the show, drink another bottle of wine and we were just told constantly no. Every time we asked for anything it was not accommodating. That table wasn’t sat again until 11:30, and they left by 12:30am. Overall not a good experience. The bartender Vincenzo, from the start, was the highlight of the night. The only person working that was friendly, and redeemed our night. He was working outside, then moved to the big bar. So happy that he was there!

Delicious food and experience. Loved the vibe and the view. Sit on balcony. The smoked beef is so tasty and the mashed potatoes. The grilled octopus is a culinary delight. Also the brioche bread-add olive oil to the butter dip. If you are staying at the Hard Rock spoil yourself. Romantic.

Great food and friendly staff within a magic atmosphere on the seafront that makes your experience enjoyable! All the dishes were delicious, as well as a bit pricey, but the live music show (electric violinist included) made me having a lot of fun that night! Last but not least, it’s worthy to highlight the funny staff who dance at the end of the night in the middle of the dinning room, very funny!

Seems that this place has an average rate quite low and this might be for the price. People were elegant and seems to be high class. Food is expensive but quality is high, obviously is very much priced up for the show. Singer and sax 🎷 took the scene and we could dance around the table making it very nice . If you dine early you probably wont experience much of this so better to take an after 10pm table to enjoy the shows. Service was also ok, we spent a nice evening and we paid around €130€ per person
