Let me tell you!!! The hibachi chicken teriyaki was on point! Large portions of meat and rice, savory vegetables, and the egg rolls along with the rangoons were full of flavor with every bite! They have lunch specials as well. They offer appetizers, hibachi plates, bento box medley, sushi, and individual portions of meats and sides! Definitely stop by and pay them a visit!

I am a professional Chauffeur for a local New Braunfels family and after dropping off at Whitewater Amphitheater was hungry. After looking at the local fare near the venue and Tatsu Japan popped up.I was perusing the reviews and I thought, let's try it. First off there was so much sodium in everything I was unable to eat it. Even the veggies were just oil and salt but after spending over 25.00 i choked the veggies down the rest was just an amalgam of goo tossed non strategically in a to go clam shell. Ok,so the crab rangoon was good but how hard is that to fry a wonton. I never do this review thing but this is how i picked this place and the truth must be told. I was working so I couldn't return the food or I would have. Its not personal because Tatsu Japan can fix it .However ,its very personal to me because now I am out 30 bucks and still hungry. Trust me go elsewhere to eat until they adjust their cooking skills.

Great food went here to celebrate my birthday, nice and quiet they have a picnic table you can sit down and eat. I didn’t expect a food truck to have top quality taste in their food was honestly better than some restaurant I been too. Who ever made my food complements to the chef and keep up the great work!!

To have Tatsu Japan choose Canyon Lake to bring their incredible culinery skills is a blessing. This is our third order and as always they neatly plate the potstickers, spring rolls ginger, rice and teriyaki chicken and beef with care neatly in their containers. The egg rolls are a great compliment to order as a side. Thankful for Tatsu Japan.

This food trailer is incredible. The food is way better than what you would expect. They have very reasonably priced lunch specials. I've had each of lunch specials of beef or chicken or shrimp. Each one delicious. I've had a few appetizers excellent. Breaded dark meat chicken and the other is a pot sticker. If I have a job in this area I call in a Togo order and I can pick it up with no wait. The lady is always patient with me as I can never remember what certain things are called. I will definitely be back.

My husband and I love this place! I always get the chicken teriyaki meal, it’s delicious and very plentiful! Everything is super fresh and tasty!

just ordered here about 30 minutes ago and holy shit. I had the Beef Bento Box and good lord everything is amazing. Price was very good. When I got home and opened the box. My jaw dropped. Definitely good for the price. Tastes phenomenal. ( as you can tell from the photo. I barely ate anything and could already tell the food is top tier ) I ate a dumpling and 1 sushi btw.

In the 2 times we have ordered, we tried a side of fried rice, egg rolls, Canyon Roll, Combination Beef/Chicken and Hibachi Chicken Plate. I can't remember the last time opening up a ToGo container made me gasp in joy, lol. The portions are huge, juicy, flavorful, and awesome! I wish I would have gotten a pic of our first order but we ate everything so quickly! What you see for my review is the Hibachi Chicken,Canyon Roll and Chicken Karage. I love Wasabi and asked for a little extra, I received a big beautifully hand rolled ball of spicy goodness in addition to what was already on the Sushi Plate. This place does not disappoint and I would recommended it!
