"Opened a big new South Boston location on October 20 described by founder Tzurit Or as a ‘bakery wonderland’—the site includes production, class, and office space and is open daily 8 a.m.–4 p.m. with direct online ordering and third-party delivery." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

Mariel Cuban Restaurant Adds Weekday Lunch Service in Downtown Boston | Eater Boston

"Also in the works is a giant “bakery wonderland” in South Boston as part of Tatte’s expansion; the chain’s D.C. expansion has recently received an address and timeline, and when that location opens in the spring it will be Tatte’s first beyond Massachusetts." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

Tatte Bakery and Cafe to Open Giant Production Hub in South Boston | Eater Boston

"Planned to be reworked by National Development, the former Cole Hersee industrial building at 60-70 Old Colony Ave. will be transformed into a two-block redevelopment that includes Tatte’s nearly 30,000-square-foot production and café complex, offices, and a test kitchen, plus an additional eight to ten restaurant and retail vendors; the development will retain current tenants such as Rock Spot climbing gym, Lapels dry cleaner, and the Tufts Medical Center Behavioral Health Program, and will also host public classes and baking workshops as pieces of the project roll out after the expected opening of Tatte’s production space around the second quarter of 2020." - Dana Hatic

Cool place with a beautiful bakery but the breakfast for me was just ok. I have had much better and authentic Israeli breakfast at other places. The baked goods looked beautiful and what we tried was delicious.

Tatte Bakery was such a treat. Breakfast was seriously the best so fresh and delicious & the coffee was amazingggg I could’ve stayed there all morning! Kate is so friendly & welcoming, can't wait to go back! Toronto needs a Tatte ASAP ☕️🥐💗

I liked the fish, but the rice was overly salty and greasy. If you order the pistachio latte, I’d recommend less sugar or no sugar at all—it’s very sweet on its own.

More spacey than the Charles street branch..no parking issue as the street parking is 2hrs and free on the street. Great spot..baked goods variety was less than the Charles street branch though

Nice Israeli bakery. I got the BLAT and mocha coffee. Delicious. I got a few chocolate croissants to take back to the house, too. A+

I ordered hole in bagel (which is basically Turkish simit with flatten egg on top). The simit was too hard and not fresh. Other orders of same complexity came in different timing and we all four waited long to eat together. The staff are nice and friendly. The cookies and pastry wasn’t something I go back for it again. It’s a good bakery for locals to just hop in, grab a coffee, bread, and spend minutes.

This is Tatte #4 for me on my quest to visit them all and try a kuign Amann at each. Parking was a little rough and this one doesn’t have the abundance of floor to ceiling windows that some of the others do but I loved the industrial vibe and all of the windows into the giant kitchen where you could see all of the pastry being made. A nice display, though not as good as the one at assembly Square, but lots of space and different kinds of seating.

I’ve been coming to Southie’s Tatte since moving here in 2023. I’m not sure if there was a recent change in management, but the quality has only gone down hill as time has passed. However, they’ve reached a new low this week. 1. My coffee’s this week have been 60% full, and nowhere near the ‘extra hot temp’ that I typically order. 2. While I was waiting for my coffee this week, my coffee was placed on the counter. I went to go pick it up myself and the lady (who I believe is currently the floor manager, but I could be wrong) cut in front of me and started touching her bear hands all over the lid of my coffee where I’d be putting my mouth on to drink. She started calling out my name when I was literally standing right in front of her, and there was nobody else around in the area for the coffee to potentially belong too. Long story short, and I’m not trying to sound like a Karen, but don’t put your bear hands all over where someone is supposed to be drinking from. It’s easy and more considerate to hold the side of the cup instead. Just let me pick up my coffee and be on my way.
