"High up on the sixth floor of Maison Albar - Le Victoria hotel, this restaurant boasts a picture-postcard panoramic view, with the city on one side, the sea on the other. In this elegant, light-filled dining space dotted with maritime details, Glenn Viel and his associate Fred Grava put their own spin on Southern French cuisine, using local produce and intensely flavoured jus. Dishes such as catch of the day and confit lamb shoulder are presented tableside by the attentive and friendly team, adding theatricality to a dining experience that allows diners to savour the Mediterranean." - Michelin Inspector

We had an unforgettable dinner at Taulissa. The rooftop setting overlooking the ocean is absolutely stunning — the perfect ambience for a romantic or special evening. The service was top-notch from start to finish, warm and attentive without being overbearing. We started with the artichoke and tuna appetizers — both were excellent, but the artichoke especially stood out. If you’re even a casual fan of artichokes, don’t skip it. We followed another reviewer’s suggestion and ordered the chicken for two, and wow — it did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the sauce it comes with is next-level delicious. The restaurant had gluten free bread that was really good! The champagne was another highlight — a special bottle made exclusively for the restaurant, and it really added to the experience. Highly recommend dining here if you’re in the area — it’s a gem

Absolutely loved Taulissa in Nice! Delicious food, warm atmosphere, and friendly staff. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. A must-visit spot if you're in Nice – can’t wait to come back!

Amazing vibe and views, a must visit for a sunset-dinner/ cocktail combo! We had dinner there - had the Gazpacho soup (10/10), Orzo Pasta (10/10) and the Octopus (whose sauce was on the sweeter side for my taste). There was a live DJ set as well :)

We had a lovely late lunch at Taulissa right after a long walking tour of the city and after checking into the hotel Maison Albar. The menu had just changed a couple of days before, so the menu on the website we had looked at before was not the right one. That was no problem as we found great options to choose anyway. We went for the tuna (Mango & Passion fruit - Crispy rice chips - Seaweed puff pastry) and the Niçoise salad (Seasonal vegetables - Marinated tuna - Nicoise essence). Both were really tasty and though they were starters, they were enough for a light lunch for two who don’t want to fill up too much. Service was quick and friendly, in perfect English to make up for our absolute lack of French. The atmosphere on the rooftop is fantastic - not loud, not crowded and very trendy. The views are phenomenal.

Everything was top notch especially the food but it is towards the pricey side. Well located on top of a new 5 stars hotel by the coastal, paid for the view, service and food.

Fantastic rooftop views pairing with great food. Very attentive service with upbeat vibe. A little pricey but you get what you pay for 😉.

The starters were creative and full of flavor, and the drinks were enjoyable as well. However, the main course fell short, especially considering the price point. The combination of chicken, lamb, and accompanying sides felt more comparable of a Thanksgiving dinner than a fine dining experience. The French fries arrived cold, the chicken skin was rubbery, and the lamb was smothered in an overly strong sauce that masked its natural flavor.

Probably the best view in Nice from a rooftop restaurant. The nice beach is stones and pebbles, very uncomfortable for the feet. However, I would return to Nice, if only to enjoy this restaurant again. It's not cheap at 100 euros a head (including a lower priced wine - Sancerre). However, I am much happier with the value for money I got here, than I was with the 136 euro dinner in St Tropez.
