Let me start with this, I had my best burger ever in Los Angeles 😍😍😍. Can’t emphasize enough how delicious the foods are, especially the burger. Everything was fresh, the fries, the salad, I love it. They had giant barbecue outside so you can smell the fire while biting your food. Staff are super friendly and the lady at the bar was so nice that made me a non-alcoholic refresher drink out of menu. Highly recommend for a delicious food and great ambiance

Eh. I won't be back. I got the happy hour chicken wings. They're the discounted version of the regular chicken wings (12.95 vs. 16.95). There were....5...wings.... It was surprising enough I asked the bartender. She said "well, they do it by weight." Which doesn't matter. But I realized there was no wisdom in pushing this. So I thought "I need to order more food." But neither of the 2 bartenders would make eye contact with me for the next 20 minutes. So bad service....oddly small portions... In their favor, though, the food was really good. There wasn't much of it, but it was tasty! But when there are a lot of alternatives nearby...Hope this helps!

We went to their buffet Thanksgiving this year And the salmon and prime rib and the traditional turkey buffet was incredible. The service was great. It was super to get your food, hot and sit down and eat it quick. The pies with whipped cream were excellent. I hope they do it again next Thanksgiving because I told them they hit a home run on this one.

Not a bad burger joint…do not go here for bbq they do not know what that is! Brisket was absolutely a crime against bbq seems like they boil it to get to meat soft. It had no flavor which is why they try and coat it in sauce before serving it to you. They clearly cut and trim it to just what’s edible left. Poor brisket I feel bad for the cow.

My go to spot. Recommend the fried chicken sandwich and naked wings. Extremely good service and plenty of TVs to watch any game. Marco the owner will treat you like family. Order a Marco special for your drink if you are trying to get your swerve on.

I'm not a regular in this area, but I sure felt like it. First off, I decided to sit at the bar to do some work, have a drink. Reagan was immediately there to introduce herself, let it be known and would be helping. The Tavern 101 IPA was delightful, if you're an IPA dinner. They have a decent beer selection, cocktail menu, but will serve what and how you would like. Food-wise, the pulled pork was good. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich (southern style with coleslaw) and a side of bbq beans. What elevates this is their sauce, wow! Just the right amount of kick and sweetness, super delicious!! Honestly, I went in as a regular Joe, left wanting to be a part of the community. Even met Dennis, an owner, and was super welcoming. I cannot undermine how awesome the experience was.

Found this great little gem for some Sunday football. The staff were amazing and really friendly. Best part was the dog friendly patio. We got the tri-tip sandwich and the prime rib sandwich. Both were amazing. Love the choice of sides as well.

I always had a good time at 1:01.The staff are all very pleasant, helpful and right there.When you need them. I was there for breakfast to watch a football game.They're only open for breakfast during football season as I recall. My breakfast was delicious. I had ham and cheese omelet and nice crispy home fries..

New Favorite Spot! My wife and I tried Tavern 101 Grill & Tap House for the first time yesterday, and we're so glad we did! We decided to sit inside even though the outdoor patio looked really inviting. The atmosphere inside felt fun and relaxed, with plenty of TVs all around for the Sunday games. Our server, Mariah, was absolutely terrific -- warm, friendly, and on top of everything. She made us feel welcome from the start and went above and beyond when my first beer came out a bit flat. Without hesitation, she offered to swap it for another, which was such a nice touch and really stood out. She was super attentive and we felt very well taken care of. For food, we started with the wings -- crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. My wife had the pulled pork with mashed potatoes and beans, and she loved every bite. I tried a cup of their award-winning Tavern Chili, which was rich and hearty with the perfect kick, and the Tavern 101 Mac N' Cheese had a great flavor combination with the bacon, peppers and chili flakes. Between the great food, wide selection of beers and drinks, plenty of TVs for the games, and Mariah's outstanding service, we left really happy and full. Definitely a place we'll be coming back to -- next time we might try that patio!

I think this is probably the worst BBQ I have EVER eaten and the service was awful, until the end when we got the bill complained of the service we got from a new waitress. I got an entree order of a smoked Brisket with a side of sautéed sweet corn and mac'n'cheese. My boyfriend got an order of pulled pork with mac'n'cheese. Both of our meat was cold and warm in weird place like being placed in the microwave. There was no seasoning except for the sauce on the meat, same with the corn as well. It was canned sweet corn covered in oil. I am not sure if this was done because they wanted to rush the order or what. They also messed up our order 2 times after literally pointing to what we wanted on the menu because it was loud. The waitress tried to say that I ordered wrong and that I got a tri-tip sandwich and that my boyfriend got a pulled pork sandwich. I told her no we didn't, I ordered an entree underneath the burgers. I didn't have a menu in front of me when I said this. When she came over again we were telling her the correct order and she walked away from us mid-sentence. At the end of the meal our party got a huge apology and they graciously adjusted the bill accordingly. I do want to say that I would have given this place a zero if I could and before the end of the meal. I would like to this was just fluke due to our party size but I wanted to share our experience. I do want to take a minute to appreciate the staff members that did contribute to correcting this situation.

Just walked into the location. First time at this one as we're used to the old on in westlake and it's after the opening hour (according to google) and no one came out to acknowledge we're were there. There was a person in the kitchen who looked out the grill window saw us standing there and didn't acknowledge us at all just walked in the back and hid. I saw him peak out more than once and never say anything even after I asked him if they were open. Stood there for a few Mins and walked out. Completely disappointed loved the old location. Not worth the trip as I traveled here.

Service was great and food was really yummy! Loved the atmosphere there. We will stop by again hopefully soon!

The first 30 minutes was AMAZING! 1) amazed to find a variety of Belgian ales! Top notch! 2) Food was prepared above average, delightful flavors 3) loved the staff Then it went sideways. . . After a slight moment of bonding with military members including the manager, we begin a conversation leading to politics, not my choice. We disagree, ok, But then I was denigrated for my opinion. and treated rudely. As a patron, I was completely floored by the discussion turned to lecture. Suggestion: Go for the taphouse selection - surprising Go for the Bbq - kitchen rocks Don't go for discussion- to much shame in that game and not what I'm looking for when I just want a meal and a beer This is a pass, sadly

We went there Thanksgiving this year. They had a home run with the prime rib, salmon, and turkey with all the fictions. We were all really happy with the pies, whipped cream, service and quality of the food.

Nice spot in Agoura Hills. We fell upon this spot on the way through town. It was a great place to eat and decent prices. We had a Cobb salad And wings. The food was great, well cooked and fresh. Outside and inside seating. We will return soon.

The Wait Staff was spot on, very friendly, very professional and very efficient! The food was very good, a bit pricey but very very good. The mushroom burger was worth $22. The bar and restaurant had a great seating area. It was especially nice because when I went there, we had our dog with us, and we were able to sit in the outside patio area, which was also covered on a hot day. The server was super nice and brought a bowl of water over for our dog. The drinks were refreshing, and the food was really good. They have a nice happy hour. I had a burger that was cooked perfectly and very delicious. I highly recommend Tavern 101 Grill & Tap House.

Love the spicy bbq sauce, I ordered the sliders without Cole slaw. I wanted to be able to taste the meats and the sauces without interference. My favorite was the brisket. Chilli cheese fries were good, the needed more Chilli. Prime rib sandwhich with the aw ju sauce was tasty but I would of liked it better without the peppers they were not cooked enough. Service was okay we sat outside. Everyone got their water before us, and we were here before they were. Waitress was okay, the ambiance outside is my favorite I can relax

Sat outside on the patio with our baby! Lots of TV's for football so great for sports. Dry wings are awesome!

Fantastic spot! We ordered the quesadilla rolls in pork. It was superb! Excellent presentation! The classic cheeseburger was good which came with garlic mashed potatoes. I truly enjoyed the garlic mashed potatoes. The fries were quite yummy too. We also had the 3 beef tacos. They were tiny but super delicious! One of the best tacos I've ever had!!!!Only wish they were bigger. I ordered 2 cocktails: raspberry lemon drop and basil pomegranate martini. Both were absolutely delightful! I also want to add that this place was impeccably clean and spotless! Their restroom was spotlessly clean! I was super impressed!

These are theeee best most crispiest wings I've had in a long while! So I'm a fan of the show, Yellowstone and this is a whole vibe! Very lad back and a place where you just wanna go and enjoy some good bbq and a cold one, maybe watch some sports or chat it up with the patrons. Plus the good tasted fresh and had nice portions. Worth a stop!

A fun place to get together with friends for happy hour! We had a great time, there is ample seating inside and out, a full bar and a happy hour menu. The service was fast and the drinks were good! We would definitely return for another happy hour!

Sauce, sauce, sauce!!! After the BBQ is rescued from the grill, you have a variety of hot sauces to douse your protein in. Whether it's the Mild, Spicy, Turbo, or Nitro, these sauces pack a punch! My favorite item on the menu is the BBQ Chopped Wrap, which comes with a side. My selection of choice are the Mashed Potatoes. My co-worker always goes for the Ahi Tuna Salad, with a side of Chili. It's one of our favorite spots for quality cuts of meat, with fresh greens and vegetables. The smell of the Chili had me second guessing my decisions. The bar has a good selection of beer, wine, and cocktails...they can even do an Espresso Martini for those into trends. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. We held a company Happy Hour at the place and they delivered on service! The turnout was about 20+ employee's. The team were all feed well, and served cold drinks on time. Give them a heads up if you're thinking of going in a large group so they are properly staffed. We had no issues with our larger party and the event was a success! Thnx!

Went here for lunch today with my 3 sons. Immediately greeted, said we could sit anywhere. Owner helped kick us off with drinks. Place was lively (Sunday ticket). But every server who walked by checked in on us. Even one of them guessed which Pokemon toy one of my sons had. Just felt so at home and appreciated. On way out owner (Marco?) said thanks and shook my hand. Will 100% recommend this to people who want amazing food and feel welcomed throughout

My husband and I have made this one of our regular visits; even with a drive from West Hills! The service is good, music is good, it's a little tricky to find considering it's small and the advertisement for it is not big. There is a small parking lot behind it and street parking! Highly suggest the tuna tostada and shrimp! We get it everytime.

Food was terrific!! Service was great. It was recommended by one of my food groups and it was nice, super casual environment. Too bad I don't live closer!! Someday, I will be back..

Stumbled on this gem in Aurora, CA yesterday passing through. My husband knows his BBQ and stated, "best brisket sandwich I've ever had." I ordered the ceviche tostadas. Yum!! so good. Service and Ambience did not disappoint either. We may be 100 miles away but that won't keep us from going back again.

Very rude blonde waitress. Condescending when my guest who had never eaten there asked a basic, very reasonable question about portion size. When I called out her jerky attitude in the face of a common question she became very defensive. Do not subject yourself to this rude person. Less than a mile down the street is another bbq restaurant (Wood Ranch) with pleasant servers.

I was looking forward to BBQ for lunch but was disappointed. The meat was mushy and really didn't have any flavor. There are lots of sauces but I don't like covering my food with sauce. The service was meh. Had to ask a few times for refills and a doggie box.

Nice little tavern with an excellent drink menu and good selection on taps. The food was also great, way better than what you'd expect for pub food. The service was attentive and courteous, and the prices are reasonable. All around a great hidden gem, I'd absolutely recommend to anyone, and I will absolutely be returning.

Delicious food. Friendly staff. I had a great time here and would definitely come back. I had the baby back ribs and left feeling super satisfied with the food and drinks.

The food was really bad. I came with 4 of my family members and we each got different things. Each item was bland and flavorless. I normally don't write reviews but I highly recommend you don't come here. It's also too highly priced for the quality of the food. They also didn't give us all of our silverware & didn't give plates for appetizers. I hope this is helpful :)

I go to the Tavern regularly and always enjoy it! This past sunday I went for first time there with friends for Football and breakfast. It was fantastic! Great VIbe, All the games, terrific service from everyone and the breakfast was really good! I've only eat BBQ there, which is always Great! This will be my new Sunday morning football go to. I never got to meet the manager as he was always running around serving and changing TVs for the Games.

Great little BBQ place right next to the freeway. Discovered it as we were passing through. Had a delicious brisket sandwich with garlic mashed potatoes. Service was very good. Limited parking in the back.

Came here for dinner with hubby the other night. So glad we did! Before we even ordered our drinks we were greeted with warm cornbread. So good! For dinner I ordered the Louisiana fried chicken sandwich with fries. Between the spicy chicken and coleslaw it flavorful and delicious. Hubs got the quarter chicken with bbq sauce and 2 sides. We watched the game on the 5 TVs throughout the night and enjoyed the food. Definitely coming back soon!

This was a great restaurant with huge portions. Love their barbecue meals. We got a half chicken (literally could feed 3 people) and the baby back ribs. Both were delicious. The side of vegetables so buttery and good. French fries and cole slaw were good nothing special. Bbq beans were great. Service is timely and friendl. Their bbq sauces on the table are ok, not my favorite. Flavor was a little off. Clean restaurant clean bathrooms.

Really comfortable, friendly and attentive service, really exceptional burger. Great music and vibe. Came because of proximity to a client, almost passed because of parking, so glad I didn't. This is a gem of a place. I had to pop in and out for work calls, waitress offered to watch my stuff, just went above and beyond and I was really grateful today!

Great food and comfortable atmosphere for dinner and Thursday Night Football Burger and fries, cold beer and even lava cake. Made good and of rough day. Servers are super friendly and on the ball!

I wasn't expecting BBQ this good ! Last time I had BBQ this good was in Nashville Tennessee. This place is outstanding! Cute cowboy tavern ambiance. John gave us such great service and is very hospitable. The ribs are mouthwatering, the sides were amazing. The beans were literally kick ass ! Get all the sides! Cornbread was REAL wholesome, not made from just corn flower like other places.

Great meats smoked in house. Friendly staff and owner. Good vibes and full bar with some good brews on tap.

Don't even think about ordering here for takeout. They got the wrong order on three different occasions. They took forever to make sure the last order was right...only for it to be wrong again. They ignore food modifications EVERY time. Not good for people with allergies. To be fair, eating in is perfect so 5 stars there because the food is great. But they need to get their sh** together for take out orders, or just stop.

Great beer! Great bbq sauce Service ehhhhh Food? Mediocre... not sure why these reviews are almost 5 star... my friends and I were in the area and opted for a dinner restaurant. Server forgot about us a couple of times... so not attentive at all, someone else had to come take cover. They serve cornbread complimentary so that was a plus but it was as dry as this hot California weather... maybe add some butter to the presentation? Idk not sure why place had amazing reviews on Yelp . They didn't even have the tuna tacos they advertised on Yelp. They call it tostadas now and no tuna is not fresh. Don't get. Other than that, salad was browned and not fresh... plus side? Decent bbq burger. Overall, Not recommended!

Incredible Baby Back Ribs and sides. Excellent service! I highly recommend this place. I've been to 5 places for ribs.... Tavern 101 in Agoura is by far the best!

Was caught in traffic after a run to the beach and googled nearby taverns and was NOT disappointed!! 10/10 atmosphere, service, and food. Just annihilated their short rib sandwich with slaw and fries and super satisfied. Mariah & the rest of the staff were super sweet and accommodating. Definitely coming back during happy hour

Tavern 101 was my son's favorite BBQ spot, so it was fitting that we had them cater his celebration of life. Marco handled everything for us. And I mean everything. From setting up the tables, to cutlery and the food, oh man the food. He brought his smoker on site which made everything extra special. So many people came up to me and remarked how amazing the food was. This meant so much because the food was a big part of our memorial, my son also loved to grill with his friends. The tri tip was excellent! So many went out of their way to comment how moist the chicken was. The Mac n chez was incredible. And the grand finale, the bread pudding....Amazing. If you need catering anywhere including the oak park community center, call Tavern 101, your guest will be so impressed you did. Thank you Marco and your entire team. The food really helped to make this important event extra special.

Really happy with my visit today. Good selection of local ales and lagers, spacious bar with nice patio. Service was good although we sat at the bar so might be expected. I had the brisket while my wife had the chile and both dishes were really good. Love the Turbo 101 BBQ sauce and would put it on everything. Coleslaw also really nice.

I came here for my annual holiday party! The food was delicious. We got a buffet style delicious meals. There was steak, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, salmon, cornbread, Caesar, salad and pasta salad. It was a great set up outside for a private holiday party! I had the steak, mashed potatoes, and we had a charcuterie board that had all kinds of cheese, raspberries, and brie. I recommend you come here and have a party, or just go there for a meal!

I really enjoyed the Tavern 101 Grill! I especially enjoy going around the holidays as they always have a nice tree and its very festive. The wait staff tends to be very attentive and kind, and the food is always excellent! My one negative is that it is a bit more expensive than I think it should be which unfortunately limits how often we're able to go... but again, we really like it. There is a parking lot that is easy to miss, so watch you for that. Enjoy!

Very shady, added 22% tip automatically for party of three, not sure why. Happened to visited the place two weeks ago with 2 friends, they didn't add tip automatically at that time. We actually had good time there and I did add 20%+ tip to that bill. I am not sure if it was a new policy to add tip automatically or they choose to add this to specific customers? Food was good, but be prepared to be charged 22% tip automatically even for small parties, and what is worse, they could do that selectively. I wish I could give them 0 star.

Well first off the service was so amazing.....the ambiance with Otis Redding playing and sports on TV was perfect! The food was absolutely delicious walking up to the smoke pits outside was the perfect start....we had the ribs as a starter and they fell off the bone. The chicken breast was so juicy and full of flavor and the mashed potatoes!!! The ribeye was juicy and the flavors were on point!!! The Tavern burger was moist and perfectly cooked!!! This is a must try place for all aspects!!!!
