The burger is the best item on the menu!!! Don't waste your time. Plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from. Don't let the location fool you. The service was awesome. The flatbed was soggy. The steak had a weird flavor and the temp we asked for was medium, came to the table rare. Tough!!! Let's just say, skip it.

The skillet cornbread was crispy and delicious. A bit too sweet. The crab and artichoke dip was good. The seafood platter was delicious! A must get. They ran out of Branzino so we got the Snapper. It was okay. Nothing too special. I didn’t order a drink but my husband got the old fashioned which he said was not good so he picked something else. We came on Saturday and it was super busy. The server was busy but definitely took care of us as soon as he could and check in on us. The view is beautiful when you sit outside. The only bad thing is the gnats bit at me so be sure to wear bug spray. I would definitely come back to eat the food with a great view of the water and try their drinks.

Google
Fantastic spot right on the water during sunset, (we even saw Dolphins!). We loved the Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Dynamite Shrimp, Crab & Artichoke Dip, and Fire Roasted Oysters appetizers. Out of the group of six of us, we all decided the Sweet Corn + Leek Ravioli entree was the best out of everything else we got. The swordfish was close second, but other than that, nothing compared. The only disappointing part of the experience was the rude service. Our server did not write anything down and we didn't notice/care about that until she brought out the wrong items multiple times. For example, someone in my party pointed at the appetizers section on the menu and ordered the fire-roasted oysters. Plain oysters came out instead from a server assistant, then once we told our waitress (30 seconds later and untouched), she proceeded to tell us we were wrong and that we did not say the fire-roasted oysters originally, and gave us an attitude. We are a very easygoing group, but we did not appreciate the change in her service once he addressed a few incorrect drinks and food swaps. However, the atmosphere and food still made this a great dinner spot!

Google
Our late lunch here was very good. Nice beer selection, the ahi tuna poke bowls were delicious, the dolphin appearances were a bonus. Our service was just ok, unfortunately.

Mark McLean

Google
Had a fantastic lunch over the weekend. The food was great, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and the service was top notch. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes!

Google
This is one of those spots you return to if you are out of town. This is a 5 out of 5 for us. Sit on the porch/deck and enjoy the sunset. There isn't a wrong way to go here. We hit the menu at random. The Brisket Mac and cheese is legendary. 14 hour smoked burnt ends onto. 5 out of 5. She had the Italian flat bread. It was great! I had the shrimp and grits. This is one of THE best dishes in Mt. Pleasant/Charleston. Flavor city. The waiter was cool and he brought me all the hotsauce for the meal. This once again is a 5 out of 5 spot. Don't sleep on it. Cherish it.

Google
Absolutely amazing restaurant on the water, extremely friendly staff and dock crew. Large menu selection with a number of fresh seafood options and amazing cocktails. We came up the inlet and while we were able to dock our boat, the spaces are limited, so I would either call ahead to check for space or opt for a less busier time.

Google
The hostesses and wait staff are very kind and accommodating. The views of Shem Creek and location are absolutely gorgeous (string lights, lots of dolphin watching). The apps and snack plates are what shine here-we loved the brussel sprouts and cornbread skillet. Unfortunately, none of us were in love with our entrees-would not recommend the flat iron steak or lobster ravioli. Our waiter John was amazing and so helpful! Overall we had a lovely evening due to the ambience and service. If given the opportunity we would return 😊

Yelp
Chicken was good, fries were good too. I liked the crayons. My dad's coke was good 5 Stars! - review form my 6 year old We love this place!! Food is always good and service is great. The cornbread skillet is my favorite.

Phuong H.

Yelp
Service: attentive. We had the private room for a brunch setting. We preselected the menu before booking the space. The server was so nice and attentive when present. Food: Cesar salad- delicious! The house made dressing was delicious and the thin slices of parm brought the right amount of salt. Turkey on Sourdough- messy but good. I was surprised by the sweetness until I realize there was fig jam as the spread. The turkey was moist and the stand with had melted cheese, so all the moisture made the sandwich fall apart. Pepperoni Flatbread- flavor was great but it wasn't cut all the way so it was hard to just pull apart. On to my next adventure...

Maria M.

Yelp
This was our first time visiting the area and I wanted to eat on the water. I ordered two watermelon fresnos. They were excellent. for food we had the mac and cheese 7/10. It was very good but the pasta was slightly over cooked. The brussels sprouts 8/10. No complaints, very good. Poke bowl, 8/10. Service was prompt and attentive. We would definitely suggest this to anyone and can't wait to go back.

Courtney K.

Yelp
One of the best happy hour bar menus in Charleston. The pimento cheese with jam is a must have. One of their OG menu items that I always order. The tuna poke bowl was absolutely perfect. Drinks are always good. Recommend sitting at the bar to watch the dolphins swim by. Highly recommend to anybody visiting!

Julio G.

Yelp
3.5/5 stars. This review is one that hurts me to write. The food here is absolutely second to none and I'm sure all the food will be excellent.... Unfortunately I'm waiting to receive my check at the table I spotted a large roach was crawling right towards my table. After such a delicious meal this was definitely a big turn off. Service wise the restaurant was excellent. Our server was quick to check in on us and was friendly throughout the night. As for the food, the cornbread skillet overall was very good! It had some slightly drier areas but with the generous amount of butter on top, it was a solid appetizer. I would definitely look to order the burnt ends Mac and cheese next time though. For my entree, the Pork ossobuco was SPECTACULAR. The veggies roasted with it were plump with the juices of the pork and the ossobuco was deliciously tender with the perfect crunchy edges. Truly one of the best entrees I have enjoyed in a long time!! My paper airplane drink was quick to come out and had lovely flavors throughout. As for the restaurant, it was an intimate setting with a lovely location near the water. I really do hope the managers of this great restaurant take the time to read this and implement the changes necessary while keeping the excellent restaurant thriving.

Steve C.

Yelp
Been here before for cocktails, this time for dinner. They have a great outdoor seating area for enjoying the waterfront. I had the Pasta Bolognese and it was delicious! Service was great.

Yelp
So far this is my favorite place at Shem Creek! We've been here a few times. Last time we had to wait an hour and a half because we had no reservation for an outside table. It was a Friday night, we didn't mind though because we went and walk along the boardwalk to the end of the pier. Got a drink along the way and got to see the sunset. The wait ended up being only an hour. Just enough time for all that. Service is always friendly here...and ambience and view is the best! Outside seats facing the creek , you can see all the boats passing by its lovely. I've tried several food items here at this point. The burger is amazing. Smashburger style wjth a sauce similiar to in&out. Huge portion as well. We've also tried the mushroom fig flatbread. Combi of all ingredients is on point, cooked perfect and crispy. The pretzel with cheese sauce is amazing as well. My fiance also got the scallops which came on top of cavatelli pea pasta. Everything is always cooked perfectly with tons of flavor. I'm a very picky eater and I love coming here. Will keep coming back for sure!

Yelp
4/11/24: Our last evening in Charleston, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Tavern & Table. We enjoyed wine along with refreshing Tavern Aperol Spritz Cocktails. All the entrees were spot on: Mushroom Flatbread, Avocado Shrimp Salad, Diver Pan Seared Scallops, Shrimp & Grits. Everything was perfectly seasoned. The Chocolate Panna Cotta dessert was absolutely amazing. The entire staff worked well together. A special shout out goes to Peyton. She was absolutely delightful. Tavern & Table has indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the water. A large parking area is available. It serves several neighboring restaurants as well. Looking forward to returning soon.

Kalyn M.

Yelp
Love the outdoor setting that T&T provides, but do think food quality has gone down a bit. Only too a picture of the wedge salad, which was the best think we tried - so good, and it was huge! Personally think you can split it between two people if it's just a pre-dinner app. Was bummed about the Italian flatbread ... we had seen a couple of others order it and it looked a little floppy and undercooked, so we asked for it to be cooked longer/on the crispy side. They said yes, but it definitely did not come out any more cooked. It was also one of the greasiest things I have ever tried to eat, due to the meat. It was floppy and everything was sliding off, in some part due to the loads of grease. I would say the other dishes we tried were good, average, nothing overly amazing. Service was great. They came around and asked if we needed anything multiple times throughout the dinner, but then stopped coming by as much (or at all) after we got the food. Server was extremely friendly though, think she was just trying to give us our space for a bit. Definitely recommend trying this place for happy hour or if you want a nice outdoor spot on Shem, but wouldn't get your hopes too high on the food front if that's your primary focus of your visit.

Yelp
I have had this restaurant bookmarked since moving to the area but so many others were pushed ahead of it. We decided to give it a shot on a Saturday afternoon and were not disappointed. We started with the hot wings, pretzel and chilled peel and eat shrimp. The shrimp were fricken fantastic, delicious seasoning and just yummy local shrimp, this is a must order. Our daughter had the fried chicken sandwich which was huge and the wifey and I had the smashed burger, delicious. We didn't sample any of the drinks but the food will definitely be calling us back sometime in the near future!

Sharon R.

Yelp
We finally made it here after living in Charleston for almost 3 years. We were lucky to get a seat at the bar on a Friday night. There were several large parties in the restaurant (looked mostly like bachelorette parties), so they were careful with seating tables. The cocktail list was good, but nothing really to my taste, a little too sweet, but the bartender happily made me a vodka soda with lemon. We shared 3 small plates, the grilled oysters, the shrimp and the prosciutto and fig flatbread, all were really good. The small plate menu was more interesting to me than the entrees. We might come back with the boat and tie up on the dock sometime.

Yelp
Brunch Bread Board Crab Benedict Breakfast Double Bacon CB Diet Coke Poinsettia (Champs & Cranberry) Five Star Service-Server Taylor & Beautiful Blonde Server Assistant Five Star Chef & Team We were looking for a Sunday meal but THIS WAS AN EVENT!!! This was the 3rd time we've been at Shem Creek. This establishment SO ROCKS!!!! The entrance was nice, neat, well cared for. The hostesses were at attention and seated us right away. The table was SO CLEAN and greasy like every other half-cleaned table in this town. Libations were served quickly! Taylor was ENCHANTING!! She is a well oiled machine--in the best way possible!!! Charming, beautiful, with a sweet soul who knows how to spoil a guest!!! If the money wasn't so good as a server, I'd make her the dining room manager. Her server assistant was just as professional and vivacious as well. The bread board was SO GOOD!!!! The challah makes you holler-I could eat a whole loaf...Oi Vey!!! The CB was substantial, well made and everything magically stayed together. The beef was tender and succulent. The Benedict was one of the best I've had, so dive in if you're a purist. Be sure to take your next brunch adventure here, it was amazing!!

Yelp
Casual restaurant right on the water in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina! Great views and lots of both indoor as well as outdoor seating. Food and service were both good, but nothing extraordinary. I enjoyed the pepperoni flatbread with the yummy ricotta on top!

Clarissa H.

Yelp
Tavern & Table is one of the restaurants right on the water! We went in the afternoon, so they only had a little menu of small plates (rather than full entrees). We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table out on the back deck, but it's worth it for the views of the water. The back deck is shaded which is nice because it was too hot for the sun spot. The drinks were great here! I loved the paloma, and the cornbread skillet was so good. Perfect as a small app to share!

Chelsea H.

Yelp
Always a must stop for us when we are in town. This place is consistently delicious. This is what I loved: Cornbread skillet - yes yes yes, crunchy edges, soft inside, with a sweet butter. We get this every time! Dynamite Shrimp - bomb.com Fig & Prosciutto Flatbread- what I order every time! I love this dish, it's like a charcuterie pizza, savory, salty, with little bits of sweet! Things I also liked: Peel and eat Shrimp! Lots of seasoning Pepperoni flatbread - Little spicy Double cheese burger- basic but tasty We always get a reservation and are seated quickly with great service! Inside and bathrooms are clean. Great view of the water from the deck that makes for great ambiance.

Gian D.

Yelp
Loved the burger, atmosphere and drinks. Definitely a must try if you're in the area.

Thao T.

Yelp
The service was excellent. I ordered the scallops risotto. The ambiance is giving chill, relax, and enjoy vibe! The food was a bit above average but due to amazing vibe and service, it makes the whole experience worth it! I say GO for a good time and decent food!

Annette J.

Yelp
My husband and I were strolling around the marina and it was HOT. So hot I was sweating through my clothes. I needed water fast and also a cocktail didn't sound like such a bad idea, either. So we landed at the Tavern & Table and it was pretty great! We only enjoyed drinks and a soft pretzel appetizer but all of that was fantastic. And our waiter kept the cold water coming which my quickly dehydrating body very much appreciated. Our large soft pretzel, served with port cherry mustard and fondue was pretty close to perfect when it comes soft pretzels. And it was the right amount for two people to split as a starter or a snack. My cocktail, the "That's my Jam" was also delicious. They also had a GREAT live music. Sometimes vacatio town bars can have sorta cheesy cover bands and while whoever they had that day was the latter, they were definitely not cheesy. They were a proper band and we loved waiting to hear what they would play next. Bummed we found this spot on our last day of vacation but I definitely hope to return sometime in the future!

Joel W.

Yelp
Traveling for business so I usually order moderately priced menu items. Wanted salmon but not on the menu so I ordered wings and roasted veggies. Sounds weird but was good. Pros: wings and roasted veggies came out hot and tasted good. Big bar and waterfront on Shem Creek with outdoor seating. Lots of TVs at the bar. Cons: Several menu items have been eliminated and prices are much higher than posted on Yelp menu. No salmon on the menu. Bartender is a big Yankees fan and was watching the Mets-Yankees game so it took a while to get another drink. I might come back for a drink, but there are lots of other choices for dinner in the area.

April P.

Yelp
Delicious!!! Great service and awesome food! Such an awesome place on Shem creek! Lots of seating and a great atmosphere. My favorite dish was the dynamite shrimp with the oysters coming in second! I will definitely be back!

Cassandra A.

Yelp
Went to this restaurant for lunch and due to a recommendation. Everyone was dressed up so nicely so we did feel out of place as we had just finished a 14 mile bike ride. With that being said though we were seated quickly. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was the best I ever had. Downfall was the portion was small so I ate it all and usually I need to take home leftovers. Would get again though since it was so delicious

Emma P.

Yelp
The service is always great, even during a busy night on Shem. The food is great, and I love the location for an evening on the town. Their Cesar salad is one of my favorites in the area.

Amy C.

Yelp
I always love coming here! Strongly recommend getting a reservation ahead of time, especially if you have a party larger than 4. They do have free parking, but the lot fills up very fast, so you'll likely have to park in the garage or the lot that varies in hourly pricing, so be aware of that. I did see they added a poke bowl to the menu, that I'll definitely be trying next time. I got the fig and prosciutto flatbread, which was fantastic as always. We sat inside and had a great view of Shem creek.

Dana R.

Yelp
As a native to Mount Pleasant, I have been a long time customer of Tavern and Table. The consistency of their food has never disappointed me and I'm always pleased with the menu. While the pricing may be slightly on the higher side, it's comparable with the quality of the dishes. The menu is diverse enough to cater to different tastes, which makes it a great choice for those who may not like seafood. However, my only reservation pertains to the service. It's almost as if every time I approach the bar for a drink or to place an order, I find myself intentionally overlooked, sometimes waiting several minutes for any kind of acknowledgment, especially my most recent visit. I had joined a couple friends for happy hour, and the bar was quiet with only a handful of other customers nearby. Despite having FOUR employees behind the bar, not a single one made eye contact or greeted me for the next 15-20 minutes. It was confusing at how an almost empty bar with plenty of staff chatting in front of me could overlook a customer trying to place an order. Thankfully the service improved after awhile, but my emphasis is on exceptional customer service. When I'm not greeted promptly, especially during quiet times, I'm left with a bad impression.

Cindy G.

Yelp
Came here on a late Friday afternoon and we were seated right away with the view of the water. Very comfortable and spacious restaurant with attentive staff. We did not wait long for our food. The crab meat in my sandwich was fresh and flavorful. Good portion of food.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Had an amazing experience at Tavern & Table. Took a 3 hour trip to go to Charleston and after some Google searching decided to try this restaurant and was throughly impressed. Our host was friendly and we were able to get seated immediately outside. Our waitress Alli was exceptional. She was patient with my undecidedness with drinks then would check up on us often to make sure we were taken care of. We had the hot wings and then pizza with lots of ranch too which Alli made sure we had plenty of. The pizza was fantastic! Absolutely enjoyed the entirety of the experience and would make the drive just come back here. Thank you Tavern & Table plus Alli, you gained extra customers

Julie P.

Yelp
Prompt, courteous service. The polenta in au jus was well seasoned dotted with a few carrots, onions, and parsnips. The pork was slightly on the dry side but still tasty. Decent value for $36. However the ambiance is lovely, especially by the window at dinner time by the water. Go for a walk in the park next door after an early dinner. There are dolphins and all sorts of birds. Lovely evening!

Jessie C.

Yelp
I came here for the first time in July 2023 for brunch as a first date. We sat outside on a beautiful morning and enjoyed the views of Shem Creek. We came here again for dinner recently and had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend a reservation as the restaurant is popular. We sat inside this time around because the crowd from Reds next door was loud and rambunctious this night, but we still had a nice view of the water and saw some dolphins while we people watched. I ordered the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and it was so delicious! The skin was crispy and the meat was hot and juicy inside. The mashed potatoes had a flavorful gravy on top and paired nicely with the whole meal. The waitress was very nice and made sure our drinks were full the whole time. I can't wait to come back again.

Brittany W.

Yelp
Highly recommend this restaurant! The food was amazing and so was our server. He was super kind.. There wasn't a single bad thing on the menu! The environment was also calm

Reed J.

Yelp
The food was really well but not amazing. It was still very good. The service was amazing are waitress was really nice. The food came out really fast. The aesthetic was cool because you sit out on the water and near the water at least.

Shawn J.

Yelp
What a great dinner! Sitting outside in this heat can be a lot, but the ambiance was great. Ask for Cricket, the bartender, she is so much fun!! :)

Savannah A.

Yelp
A lovely location for Sunday brunch! Our group started with the bread board and the cranberry donuts. The presentation of food was lovely and the taste was delicious. Our server was attentive and pleasant. We were able to book reservations ahead of time for 10:00, but it was pretty empty at that time so we didn't really need them. By 11:00 it had filled up (and was getting pretty loud), so I would recommend going before 10:45 or making a reservation!

Simran K.

Yelp
Right by Shem Creek, this spot is a must visit if you are in the area. When in the neighborhood, why not just metaphorically shoot two birds with a stone- visiting Shem Creek and having a nice meal here. We stopped by on Easter, which is when they served a special Easter Brunch. We opted for an item to share off the regular menu which was the Duck Chilaquiles. This was a 5/5. It was a perfect shareable stack of crispy tortillas, well cooked and seasoned duck, a nice fried egg and other garnishes and dressing and cheeses. The taste was delicious, the textures divine, and the time spent there was relaxing and enjoyable. The service is prompt and kind, and the venue is large with so many diners around so you are bound to feel as though you are in good hands, which you absolutely will be in.

Jessi S.

Yelp
Tavern & Table was a new restaurant added to our Charleston vacation list. I am so happy my husband suggested it because it was delicious! The menu is heavy on appetizers and shareable plates, which at first made me a little wary, but no need to be wary because everything is spectacular! We went for a later lunch on a Monday afternoon. The inside is modern and beautiful. They also have a nice outdoor deck overlooking the river. My husband and I started with one of their craft cocktails. I had the Tavern Aperol Spritz and my husband had the This is our Jam with gin and their strawberry seasonal jam. It was awesome, and really tasty. My husband couldn't decide between the Nashville hot wings or the crispy chicken sandwich. Our waiter, Jonathan, suggested he make is a Nashville hot crispy chicken sandwich to have the best of both worlds. That suggestion changed my husband's life. He was so happy to be able to try the Nashville hot sauce on the sandwich. I decided to have an appy party and order the Pimento Cheese and Bacon Jam and the Brussels Sprouts. OMG. Appetizer heaven over here. Both of them were delicious and just the right amount of food. Tavern & Table also has a kids menu (thank goodness!). My son ordered the pizza and my daughter ordered the kids pasta. Both of them really enjoyed their meals and ate the whole thing. Five stars! We will definitely visit Tavern & Table when we are down in the Charleston area again!

Jillian L.

Yelp
My family went here while visiting Charleston. The place is dimly lit, but beautifully decorated. Our server was kind, but she took a while to realize we needed refills for drinks and took a while to take our order after welcoming us and discussing the specials. The appetizers were the best part, we got the Brussels sprouts and firecracker shrimp. I would come back solely for the sprouts. For main courses, we got the oysters, a flatbread and shrimp and grits. All the portions are huge. The flatbread was delicious, but the crust was a little soft and thicker than expected. The grits were not cooked well in the shrimp and grits... Oysters were refreshing and tasty.

Seyla T.

Yelp
What a great spot near shem creek. Our waitress, I believe her name was Kat, was so kind and attentive. The ambiance is great for a date, family meal, or get together with friends. The wait wasn't long for a party of 2. My date and I split all the meals - fig and prosciutto flatbread, crab and artichoke dip, and the nashville hot wings. I very much enjoyed the flatbread and dip. The wings were good but I expected a bit more in spice and flavor but it was a good portion of wings. I do wish the pita that came with the dip was toasted and crisp but I know others just prefer soft pita. Overall, this was a great spot for a date! Especially being right near that water so you can stroll along once you're done with your meal. Parking here is a pain though so keep that in mind!!

Jacqueline W.

Yelp
Typically my favorite restaurant in Charleston but was underwhelmed during my recent experience. Went on a Sunday and didn't know it was the brunch-only menu until 2pm. We were sat at 1:45 and requested the dinner menu, were told they only have "small bites" until dinner at 4, but if we wanted something from the brunch menu then we would have to get our order in by 2... then the server did not come back until after 2:00. Thankfully we didn't want anything from the brunch menu. Shared a flatbread and crab dip - both were just ok, especially compared to previous experiences there. Would still go back as I'm sure it was just a timing fluke.

Kathleen K.

Yelp
Beautiful place and delicious food. Great place to watch the sunset. Just a little too chilly to sit outside.

Sharon D.

Yelp
This place is popular and crowded. Parking was packed in the lot, but there's a pay garage close by. We had a group of 9 with a resy at 8pm on a beautiful Saturday night. We went early to get a drink and snap pics of the gorgeous sunset over the water with twinkle lights all around. Decided to share apps for dinner. YUM! Would have given 5 stars, but the service was SLOW!

Payton W.

Yelp
I really liked this spot! The food and drinks were excellent, albeit a bit pricey, but it was worth it to sit out by the water and enjoy the sunshine. Our server was very friendly and attentive as well. We also saw some dolphins!

Dwaine C.

Yelp
This is a beautiful place for diner. Service is good and friendly. Drinks are good. The outside dining is on the water. They have music outside. We ordered the flat bread pizza and it was delicious. The shrimp appetizer had a heavy breading but was good. We saw the corn bread in a mini skillet with butter and it looked good. They have a very cool menu . The view of the boats and the other restaurants are amazing. The parking is very hard. We parked in the garage.

Rachael T.

Yelp
Always have to stop here when I visit Charleston. I love the outside bar you are able to look out and see the water and boats passing by. They have a great drink special happy hour. No place compares to the peel and eat shrimp they serve here it is my absolute favorite. The wings are AMAZING. It had a nice spicy rub and it's served with pickles which is a perfect pairing because it cools off your mouth from the heat of the wings. Had a spicy margarita which was great. Our server was great and attentive

Tanvee S.

Yelp
I cannot emphasize how beautiful this place is. Came for brunch, and got seated on the outside patio. I am very picky with my brunch foods because why would I pay $20 for a basic veggie omelette or a stack of pancakes?? This place truly impressed me. I got crab cake benedict (probably the best crab came I have eaten in my life), duck nachos (SO good!!) and loved the donuts. If I lived here I would definitely come back, but for a charleston visitor, this place left a great impression on my partner and me. One of the best brunch places I have been to - DEFINITELY try going here. P.S. the parking situation is awful so prepare to pay for parking because it's hard to get a spot in the general lot.

Andrew J.

Yelp
I was underwhelmed by the brunch here. It was good but not great. Same with the drinks, the service, and the overall atmosphere of the place. Now, I know Shem Creek is dive bar heaven over there, but I was under the impression that T&T was a bit "more" than what we got. Now, it is not a dive by any means, but it's more of a nice casual place that is on the water. For the price of the brunch and the overall lack of Charleston Standard, I'll look elsewhere for brunch options in the future.

Carol W.

Yelp
Service was great, food was excellent, dessert even better. So glad to have found it. Recommend it 100%!

Yelp
We arrived in Charleston too early to check into our hotel, so I hopped on Yelp and we found this great waterside restaurant. It was the Sunday before the 4th of July and they were packed, but still managed to seat us outside within a few minutes, and our server was friendly and efficient. We got the bread board to share and highly recommend it. So good! I had biscuits and gravy for my main. The gravy was a bit spicy for me, but very tasty. My hubby got the hash brown bowl. It was so good, I wish I'd had ordered it. Mimosas and the views made it a fabulous way to while away the afternoon.

Yelp
Pretty standard American cuisine restaurant. Little bit more formal than a casual setting. But the atmosphere is clean, spacious and elegant. I made a reservation for a group of 5 people. I even received a courtesy reminder call on that morning so I thought that was very courteous and proactive on them to do that for their guests. We shared a plate of pimento cheese and bacon jam with ritz crackers for appetizer. Although the dip itself was delicious I felt like serving ritz crackers did not match the price of the appetizer ($10). Perhaps more artisanal crackers or bread would have matched the price. For entree, I got the shrimp and grits. Loved how creamy it was. No chunks. There was generous amounts of shrimp in it too. I also really liked the chorizo bits sprinkled over the grits so it gave a little more flavor to the grits. Overall review of my dinner here was pretty standard. I'd still like to try their brunch!

Yelp
Looking for a late lunch while exploring shem creek area. This place had a shaved beef sandwich which called my husband into staying. I ordered the ahi tuna salad and while 90% of my dish was great the weird almost leather like pickled mushrooms on it were NOT FOR ME! My husband enjoyed his sandwich, fries were not that great. We ate outside on a pretty steamy day, the inside was cute and bar area with nice view. Our server had the entire outside are, and she was sweet and prompt!

Yelp
Service and food were excellent. One of the better dinners we've had in Charleston in a long time. Steak was cooked perfectly. Got a sangria and it was unique and tasty. Kids ate their meals too which is always a miracle. Will be back for sure.
