High-end vintage cocktails & American fare in a dark, sophisticated space with a speakeasy vibe.
"Capacity: 36-100 Being able to have free reign of Needle & Thread’s awesome speakeasy space and an unlimited supply of cheddar corn cracklins with serrano fondue? Sign us up. If you have more than 36 people, you can reserve the combination of Needle & Thread and the downstairs bar Tavern Law." - aimee rizzo
"If speakeasies were part of the Olympics, Needle & Thread would win a gold medal. To get in, you have to make a reservation online, enter through Tavern Law (their sister bar), and pick up a vintage phone in the back corner. After you do that, someone will unlock a door that leads to a rickety staircase, and finally, up to an antique parlor. There’s no menu, but trust the expert bartenders to make you something with the ingredients of your choice. We’ve had everything here from a spritz made from pomegranate, Campari, and raspberries to a classic daiquiri with banana and cinnamon bitters. Unlike Canon, Needle & Thread is easy to get into on a weekend—so it can be more than a once-in-a-lifetime experience." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley
"To get into this speakeasy, you have to make a reservation online, enter through Tavern Law (their sister bar), and pick up a vintage phone in the back corner. After chatting with the person on the other end of the line, a door will unlock. Walk up the rickety stairs into a dark antique parlor greeted by a cocktail wizard who will whip you up something delicious based on whatever you like since there’s no menu. The bartender will jot your preferences down and then produce something outstanding, whether it’s a daiquiri with banana and cinnamon bitters or a Campari spritz with pomegranate and raspberries. You can also get food from Tavern Law downstairs, and we’d like it to be known that the cheddar corn cracklins with serrano fondue is the best bar snack in Seattle." - aimee rizzo
"So, you dropped the ball and forgot to make a reservation at Needle And Thread. Luckily, Tavern Law, the spot right downstairs, is their sister bar, so you can drink similar excellent cocktails in a space that’s almost as slick. You just don’t get to use the cool phone booth in the back - you’ll have to use your personality to impress your date instead. And if that doesn’t work, the corn cracklins and popcorn chicken will. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation
