"This restaurant housed in Marzamemi’s old tuna fishery boasts an outdoor terrace with tables overlooking one of the most picturesque squares in Sicily, as well as an indoor dining room and another terrace to the rear facing the sea. Wherever you choose to sit, you’ll find authentic Sicilian cuisine on the menu, with just a few simply prepared dishes in which the full flavours of fresh fish shine through." - Michelin Inspector

The food was good and the fish undeniably fresh, but the prices were far higher than in comparable places. We ordered spaghetti with porcini mushrooms and red prawns, but the dish came with only four prawns. Then we tried the mullet with lemon and caponata. As a Sicilian, I can honestly say the caponata was among the worst I’ve ever had. The mullet itself was very fresh, yet we couldn’t detect any hint of lemon. Given the cost, my expectations were definitely much higher.

Plain, simple, and absolutely delicious. Italian friend recommended. Fresh ingredients, pasta cooked to perfection and loved the food. We came at night, ambiance was lovely and service was prompt. We had pasta pomodoro and pasta e funghi.

I really don’t understand all the bad reviews. We visited today this restaurant for lunch and we loved it. The food was amazing! Fresh locally sourced ingredients and well prepared. Also our waiter took good care of us and well the location + design is so unique. I also don’t think it is pricey given the fact they use fresh ingredients and is michelin starred. We will definitely be back! ❤️

I could dine here every day! Simple, light, classic Sicilian dishes with the freshest and most flavorful ingredients. Really beautiful food. Our highlights were the tuna carpaccio, fried mullet as well as the bottarga pasta. The place has lovely, colorful, and artsy decorations and you can either sit by the sea or at the Marzamemi square.

Legendary restaurant with great atmosphere and super fresh fish and seafood. We had tuna steak, grilled calamaries and fish of the day. Staff was friendly

Amazing location, with tables at the back of the restaurant overlooking the sea. I ordered the spaghetti alla bottarga which was nice as well. Simple and authentic!

The best seaside vibes at this Michelin recommended place, a young hip crowd goes here! Food is perfect seaside food - light seafood fare. Would def come again, especially with a group. I read on google that there is an outdoor patio area directly overlooking the ocean (instead of the square), but it was closed when I was there.

An iconic location! This restaurant just stands out with its colorful chairs and many beautiful flowers. It is tastefully decorated. The terrace at the back overlooking the sea is just stunning and very private. The staff were friendly. I had the tuna pasta which was very tasty, my husband had the grilled tuna with onions and a tomato salad. The tuna steak was extraordinary! A must visit when in Marzamemi
