Taverna La Cialoma is a beautiful traditional tavern located in one of the oldest squares of Marzamemi. At night, the atmosphere is truly magical — the lights, the sea breeze, and the laughter of children running around the square create an unforgettable Sicilian scene.
The food was simply outstanding. The squid ink pasta was one of the best I’ve had anywhere in Italy — perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and full of that authentic sea taste. The burrata with tomato was just as amazing, creamy and fresh, the kind of simple dish that reminds you why Italian cuisine is so special.
One of the highlights here is the wine list. With more than 300 options, it’s a true delight for wine lovers. We went for a dry white wine recommended by the staff, and it turned out to be exquisite — crisp, aromatic, and perfectly paired with our meal.
Prices are absolutely fair for such an iconic place, especially considering the quality of the food, the service, and the incredible setting.
Taverna La Cialoma captures everything that makes Sicily unforgettable: history, flavor, and charm in every detail. A must-visit if you come to Marzamemi.
