Taverna Maui

Good variety of options. Not on par with the upscale places in Maui, but still a very solid choice in a pinch. Had their gnocchi and pizza, delicious dishes. The cookie sandwich was great, too. Did not leave hungry!

Beautiful location and decor. Great menu including the choice of wines. Absolutely faultless Neapolitan style pizza. Thin yet airy and crisp dough with just the right amount of topping to be tasty yet avoid a wet pizza. Ahi poke with beetroot chips was also excellent. Both ahi and truffle mushroom pizza were well spiced. Coffee was not bitter. Excellent meal served by friendly staff.

A total departure from the beach motif on this alpine, luscious golf course setting! Beautiful and immaculate backdrop for some Amazing Courses of tasteful food!! Wait staff was just a bit slow, may be due to Valentine's and a private celebration, but the food was amazing! Thanks for helping to celebrate my Wife's 50th Bday!

My family and I had a wonderful dinner at Taverna Maui. We started with a unique take on bruschetta, not your typical version, but absolutely delicious. It featured grilled house bread topped with mushrooms, pickled mustard seeds, maitake, Hamakua, and goat cheese. The combination of flavors was creative and truly elevated the dish. For our main entree I ordered the Cioppino which was packed with fresh seafood: scallops, shrimp, Manila clams, tako, and the fish of the day, a perfectly cooked white fish. The dish had rich flavors from the cioppino stock, garlic, and roasted fennel, all served with linguine and a hint of basil oil. The micro basil from Hua Momona Farms was a lovely touch. Paired with a glass of Chardonnay, it was an unforgettable meal. My husband went for the Taverna Lasagna, a hearty dish with beef and pork bolognese, creamy béchamel, and plenty of mozzarella and Parmigiano Reggiano. It was rich, flavorful, and comforting. He enjoyed it with a Coke, which paired well with the bold flavors. Our daughter had the pepperoni pizza simple but delicious. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the pepperoni was generous. She also enjoyed a Coke with her meal. Overall, Taverna Maui offers a memorable dining experience with high-quality ingredients, great flavors, and a beautiful setting with outdoor seating. We highly recommend it for anyone craving Italian food while in Maui!

The only positive thing was our waitress and the view. Other than that, the food was mediocre, plain and tasteless. The margherita pizza and the Frito Misto were the most decent dishes. My husband ordered the jidori chicken and there was a really red undercooked piece, however, the manager (who was a nice guy, but not a great manager) came to us saying that the chef looked at and said it was just a vein. It was not just a vein and it would be more professional if it was admitted their mistake instead of saying it was okay.

Their food was so great and they were super accommodating since we wanted to sit by the fire fit . Such a nice view of the golf course a the drinks were very good. We got the Gnocchi and Brussels

Beautiful view on the golf course. Fresh food. We enjoyed fresh pizza, pasta carbonara, gnocchi,fish of the day ,tuna! Everything was fresh and delicious! Also thanks to Alejandro, best server .. we went with his recommendations with food and wine! Thanks 🙏🏻

We had a fantastic anniversary dinner at Taverna! The ambience was great and we enjoyed watching the sunset over the golf course. Our server was so friendly and helpful (I *think* his name was Alejandro) and had great recommendations. I loved my gnocchi alla norcina and my husband said the salmon was delicious! We don’t drink alcohol but I love a good mocktail, and they had 3 really yummy-sounding options. The Tropicasa was like a mix between a pina colada and a mojito (my two favorites) and it was so good. Dessertt was also fantastic— we got the Torta di Cioccolato. I would highly recommend visiting Taverna Maui!
