Taverna Toscana

Taverna Toscana just delivered one of the most memorable meals we’ve had all year! Started with the Pecorino Parker House Rolls – warm, fluffy, cheesy little clouds served with honey butter. Only complaint - they disappear quickly! The Brussels Sprout Salad was insanely good: perfect in every way. The Taverna Chopped Salad was fresh, crunchy, and generously portioned – the ideal bright counterpoint to everything else. Then came the pastas. The Rigatoni with Wagyu Short Rib Bolognese is straight-up ridiculous – tender, melt-in-your-mouth short rib in a sauce so rich and beefy it coats every ridge of the rigatoni perfectly. The Roasted Chicken Fusilloni was surprisingly the sleeper hit: juicy chunks of roasted chicken, silky pasta curls, and an amazing tomato sauce with a touch of cream that had us sopping up every drop with those addicting pecorino rolls. Pastas made fresh at Taverna. Service was absolutely outstanding – professional, warm, attentive, perfectly timed, and full of genuine enthusiasm that made the meal even better. Taverna Toscana nails every single detail with one very minor exception - it was very, very cold. We had coats draped over our laps like blankets. Brrr. Small price to pay for food that is soul-satisfying, a vibe that is Tuscan perfection. We left stuffed, happy, and already planning our next visit. Run, don’t walk. This place is special. 🇮🇹❤️

This review is long over due but I wanted to say I enjoyed this establishment back in July 2025 for my 30th Birthday! The entire process was handled sooo well. I had no idea where to host my family and close friends and someone recommended Taverna Toscana (TT), I was so happy they were able to accommodate. I reached out about a week prior to the day and when I say these names, I hope they are still apart of the TT family but Alicia B, the assistant manager was super helpful via email, asking all the right questions and making me feel automatically that this was the right place to spend my bday. Next, once I arrived we walked to the back, I did not know what to expect and once we arrived through the doors, I felt transported to to say the least, it was an amazing..amazingly beautiful room. It was private (was not expecting a private room), and my friend arrived early and was able to add "Springing into 30's" decor and it was just really beautiful. Next, the staff..Stefania and Eli were absolutely AMAZING and so sweet! They even participated in writing me words of wisdom on a note card as I entered into the next stage of life and their words were caring and intentional as if they knew me. Hard workers and they even let us stay a little past closing as I was opening gifts, speeches, and photos. It's the little details that make a difference into an experience and while the food was 10/10, I just really appreciated the overall atmosphere that made this such a memorable night for me and my family. Date night turned out perfectly. Taverna Toscana was an excellent choice. Great food, top notch service from Scott, cool vibe to the restaurant. Busy place, but everything runs smoothly. The drinks from the bar were excellent. The bread was awesome. Grip it, rip it and dip it! My chicken parmesan was superb.

Pleasant ambiance, very clean, modern decor and lots of natural light. We enjoyed an Italian red, beer for hubby, the meatball appetizer, meat lovers style pizza, and wedge salad. The lardons on my salad were my favorite. Our server Isaiah was the highlight of the evening. He was friendly, offered suggestions, and made us feel welcomed.

Beautiful place. Food is amazing. Pictured are the rigatoni and meatball. We had the rigatoni, meatball, broccolini , mussels, vodka à la pasta and Brussel spouts. 6/5 food and pasta is a must try

Traverna Toscana was an absolute delight from start to finish. The service was warm, attentive, and elevated the entire experience. Every dish we tried was outstanding—easily making this the best restaurant I’ve been to in Florida so far. My husband had the Mahi Mahi which was perfectly cooked, fresh, and full of flavor. The (Rigatoni) Vodka Rose was rich and creamy with just the right balance of tang and depth, while the meatballs were tender, flavorful, and truly authentic. And the bread—hands down the best I’ve ever had—warm, fresh, and unforgettable. We ended the night with the light, fluffy cheesecake topped with strawberry compote, which was the perfect sweet finish to an already exceptional meal. On top of the incredible food and service, everything was fairly priced, which made the experience even more enjoyable. From start to finish, Traverna Toscana is a must-visit.

I had the wagyu meatball appetizer and it was DELICIOUS! How they keep it so tender and cooked through while being so big, remains a mystery. The wedge salad made me want to drink the dressing it was so good . I had the French I-75 and it was a nice twist on the classic French 75. I took off one star for the atmosphere only because I expected it to be a bit more, quaint? Quiet? I could barely hear my mom it was so loud. Just my preference with liking more upscale restaurants like this to be a bit quieter. Nothing they did wrong.

For me, the highlight of the show was definitely the appetizers. I feel like I probably could have ordered just from that section of the menu and been very happy. The dinner rolls were not to be missed they were served with plenty of butter to help clog your arteries before the meal even really begins. Feel free to skip the meatball, nothing about it screams waygu, it just tastes like a meatball to me. Service could use a little bit of improvement for the price you are paying here. I’ll give it a bit of grace given we are not in a big city and there might be a different expectation for service. Kinda eclectic interior design as well for a steakhouse which tend to be on the more traditional side. So this place definitely has a tastes of Florida in that sense.

The bad: Our filets were room temperature by the time they arrived at the table, the lobster butter for the steak was beyond terrible, should have been served on the side, ruined the steak. Fruit flies buzzing around our table, service was slow The good: Quality of steak was good,wish they were hot. Bread was delicious, Probably won't be back

The pork chop is the best I have ever eaten, is it pork shoulder? I'm actually eating leftover tonight and it's still great. Our server was just the right amount of attentive, and our table was quite enough for our conversation. I had the bread pudding dessert, also outstanding

We were not impressed at all. The acoustics were terrible, and we were seated at a long bench-style table that was far too close to the neighboring tables. The layout made it difficult to have a normal conversation -- I practically had to yell to be heard, and it felt like we ended up talking more with the adjacent tables than with each other. The food was just okay -- not awful, but definitely not worth the price. The drinks and dessert were good, but the experience was ruined by fruit flies swarming our table throughout dinner. That is completely unacceptable for any restaurant, let alone one that considers itself high-end. We're locals, but I don't see any reason to spend my money there again.

Went for happy hour and sat at the bar. It was very busy and Jameson & Meghan were excellent on service. Shift change went smoothly and the bartenders were engaging and entertaining while being very busy! French onion soup was phenomenal! I had the HH poke and wasn't in love. The wontons were not crispy and it could use a bit more flavor. The bartenders checked in and said they would share the feedback. The HH old fashioned was great but I, and my neighboring diners, were a bit floored at the increase to $20 for a regular smoked. A little insane IMO for one drink. I'll come back and try more another time for a full meal, but the prices here are steep for sure.

We came here for our 34th anniversary. The atmosphere was phenomenal. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. Our food was delicious. I had a pasta with creamy sauce with sausage and my husband had shrimp diavola. But honestly, the best part for me was the bread with honey butter we got for our appetizer. (Bread is always my favorite!) We did not order any, but their wine selection is off the chain. We were impressed with this Bradenton restaurant and will definitely be back!

This was a very unexpected surprise. I was very impressed from the very beginning. Great location, easy and safe parking, we had reservations and we were assisted right away. Spacious comfortable sitting outside -just because the weather was nice- but inside was also very comfortable in terms of space, decor and noise level. We were a party of three and we all love our choices of appetizers, drinks and then the main course. Prices were fair and the attention couldn't have been better. Definitely coming back!!

Started with warm and fresh rolls and huge meatballs , very tender and sauced well , butter for rolls was amazing chicken Parmesan, shrimp fra daivlo was super, pasta was cooked perfectly Service by Angela was delightful with her wine knowledge, great and delicious dinner fabulous evening!

I really want to like this restaurant because it's convenient, nicely decorated and has good food, but service has been bad both times we were here. We had reservations on a Friday night and were promptly seated. Waited 10 minutes before anyone came over with water or to take our drink order. She didn't take our drink order when she came but recommended we look over the menu. The 4 of us were ready, but another 10 minutes before she came back. My husband and I ordered a Caesar salad to share and I ordered the risotto. We also ordered a glass of wine each and an order of bread. Our friends ordered one appetizer. We waited 15 minutes before our wine showed up and they only came with one glass as they misheard our order. I was there 35 minutes before I got a glass of wine. Our salad and bread came right after the wine. The salad was decent and the bread is great. Our entrees came out after we had time to enjoy our salad. Mine was hot and the risotto was great. Only 3 small pieces of beef, which was a bit scant. In the end, we were there slightly over 2 hours. I watched other tables and they had the same issues with drinks and wine. Why it takes so long to get drinks to tables is beyond me. Hire more workers We would have had another drink but timing with everything didn't work.

chef fabio viviani had a cooking class on 01/17/26 it was a great event ,very interesting presentation and fantastic food ,the staff was excellent very attentive .stefania one of the waitress was very gracious 'and so were the ladies at the bar ( megan and lauren ).very friendly and good service .........i highly recommend this place ,it is a little pricey but if you want to spend an evening in a new elegant place with good service and wonderful food by all means make a reservation today ..buon appetito !

Had a fantastic lunch at Taverna Toscana. There were three of us and we shared everything that gave us a chance to taste four different recommended dishes. We went with the wedge salad that was topped with house made pork belly bacon and a rich truffle Gorgonzola dressing, the pecorino Parker rolls a unique flavorful pull apart bread. A chicken sandwich, it was juicy and flavorful and one of the better chicken sandwiches I had in a long time. Last dish was. The Orecchiette Genovese pasta also packed with flavor. Service from Auria was outstanding, she gave excellent recommendations, and really made the experience awesome. As I walked in, I noticed the prime rib aging in a cooler. Was told that they have a special on Thursdays for their aged prime rib. Definitely will be back.

What an amazing New Years Eve experience we had!! This restaurant was amazing all around, we started off with Martinis that were amazingly made - we ordered a beet salad and meatballs for start off and we knew we were in for a treat! Main course followed with the Salmon, Short Rib Ragú Bolognese, Chicken Parm, Truffle Tartuffo and Brussels side dish - everything tasted so so good! The Sticky Toffee Bread pudding closed us out with the cherry on top. Would totally come back, 1000% recommend trying this place out. Truly an amazing place!

Atmosphere - Excellent! The restaurant has a clean, modern feel. The bar has about a dozen seats and there is an outdoor patio dining area that looks nice as well. The inside dining area is nice as well with tables spaced apart nicely. Service - Bar - Poor. Dining- Good. The bartender seemed to go out of his way to ignore us and was somewhat arrogant. When seated at our table, our server was very attentive and professional. However, we waited an extraordinary long time for our entree's. Food - Very Good. I had the French Onion soup as a starter. It had a nice flavor, but there was very little onions or cheese. I had the Wagyu Short Rib Bolognese and it was great! The sauce was very good and there ample short rib. Overall Value - Good. Had service (bar and kitchen) been better, this would have been a 4 star experience for me. The price was reasonable and the portion size ample.

YES 5 Stars! Food is amazing, service is great and the ambiance is phenomenal. We all loved it! We ordered a double cut pork chop w/ broccolini, 7oz filet -well done -w/ homemade bucatini pasta in oil & garlic and it was so tender I cut it with a fork. Hubby ordered the Vodka Rose Pasta dish. We also ordered chocolate martini's. Everything was fabulous! Highly recommend.

Although the name suggests it serves only Italian food, the menu is varied. Great atmosphere and service. Don't be fooled that it is in an office building. Well worth it and you will not be disappointed

Bar and happy hour and appetizers were great and so was staff. Need some outside tables.

Two words. The Bread! It is soooooooo good. The best rolls ever. The other dishes had beautiful presentation but felt lacked salt and was bland. The arancini balls were bland. They were cooked well and cheesy but I couldn't tell you what they taste like. The Moroccan wings were also bland. We had the muscles which again to me just lacked flavor. The Italian grinder was very good, but if you do not like olives, it is olive heavy with some sort of olive pesto that They add to the sandwich. Overall, I could see myself coming back for maybe a nonalcoholic drink, and the bread. I will try their steak and dinner menu as we came in for lunch. The service was really good and the ambience is beautiful. The prices are very good as well.

We had dinner here last night. We had a reservation for 7:30 and we were seated by 7:35, so good with that. Our waitress was very nice! but waiting times to order, and for the drinks to arrive were slightly lengthy, but when she was there she was as pleasant as any waitress could be. The decor was decent modern Italian. We ordered two glasses of Pinot, French onion soup, wedged salad, and pecorino bread rolls as our appetizers. Our two entrees were the wagu bolognese and the vodka rose. The wine was very good, the pecorino bread was delicious, the French onion was great and a must do again, and the wedged salad was as good as they get (the appetizers were a nine out of ten). The two pastas were good, but in the future for the entrees I might get more adventurous and try the non pasta dishes, for they all looked great. The meatball was amazing, French onion soup 10/10 just wish it had a bit more cheese the wedge was delicious as well! We also got the vodka pasta added chicken it was really good too! The restaurant was gorgeous !

We took two couples with us tonight. It was a great time. Our guests enjoyed the food and our recommendation. My hubs and I love this restaurant and fell in love with our waitress tonight, Stefania. She was great, and I really mean like I will ask for this specific staff member when we dine here again she was that good. The restaurant was buzzing tonight and the entire staff hummed along. I noticed a person speaking on a headset to someone and like an orchestra the table was completely transformed to accommodate. This is a special place, I highly recommend the food and the experience of having excellent wait staff and the chef who has impeccable creations and just a lovely menu.

I wanted to give a five but I couldn't, The ambiance of Taverna is perfect. Comfortable, but elegant. The best part they make a great extra dirty Gin martini! The filet tartar, was ok, personally the smoke was overwhelming. French onion soup was a10! My husband had the Osso Buco, it was tender and tasty, but the mashed potatoes were to die for. I had the lobster tail and filet. The lobster was soft and buttery. The Filet was medium I ordered it rare, it was tough, I took it home for my doggies. Hence not a five. It was surprising that for a steak house, they couldn't cook a steak correctly. But the show stopper was the S'mores dessert, it's a special, I hope they add it to the regular dessert menu. We drove an hour to the restaurant, I would come back again just to prove the steak was a fluke.

Excellent experience at Taverna Toscana. High quality ingredients, great wait staff, I am looking forward to going back! I was with a group of 6 plus our infant. Everyone loved their meals & they were accommodating with a stroller and high chair. Plenty of parking, clean restrooms & great drinks...highly recommend!

Visiting the area to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. We had a large party of 14 people. Reservations were easy, communications were great from the staff. Everything were great, from the service with all the staff (they even tried to put on the Bucs game for us), the ambiance of the private room, the valet (was pouring that night) and most importantly the food. (Still thinking about that steak and the bread! Although everything we ordered was very good!) Would definitely come back if we're ever in area.

OUTSTANDING!!!! Everything from beginning to end. We sat at the outside bar and Carly was our bartender who was amazing. So informative and helpful and just all round a lovely person. We had the carne pizza, Caesar salad, Mahi Mahi and French onion soup. Delicious every single bite. Everything on the menu looked fantastic. Spoilt for choice. The outdoors is very vibey and the inside is beautifully decorated and just gorgeous. The ambience is incredible. This is a MUST if you are in the area. Also the cocktails were all outstanding.

Authentic delicious Italian food served with grace. The atmosphere is awesome and Taverna Toscana is the only restaurant we choose for Italian food.

I would say hands-down the nicest restaurant in Bradenton. Beautifully done on the inside. Service was impeccable and helpful. Food was delicious. Also great cocktails. Good for special occasions and just a nice dinner. We ordered a bunch of appetizers which were all very good. Highlights were the octopus (I am not a fan, but everyone else liked it), and the meatball. The "salad" part of the beet salad was so tasty, I finished it all. I ordered the Osso Bucco - so big I had to take most of it home. Someone got the risotto and said it was fantastic. Lots of cleaned plates! My only minor disappointment was that the "pudding" in the bananas foster bread pudding was so dense that it seemed like smashed bread, but the bananas foster topping was great.

It's what Bradenton has needed! I often travel to St Pete and Tampa to get more of an upscale foodie vibe.....but found it locally here. At Taverna Toscana, the entire dining experience was on point. Skylar made sure of that from the moment we walked in. Her warm welcome set the tone for the evening, and her knowledge of the menu guided us through a delightful culinary journey. I heavily relied on her recommendation as far as my entree....a little more on that later. We started with extra dirty martinis with blue cheese olives and the Grilled Octopus appetizer. The stuffed olives were some of the best we've ever had. We later on found out they were stuffed with gorgonzola. And they were stuffed to the brim. Such a treat! The octopus was perfectly tender and infused with a perfect char that brought out its natural flavors. The subtle smokiness was balanced beautifully with a thick lemon butter sauce with potatoes making it a standout dish that was quite hearty. For the main course, this is where Skylar's expertise came in. I couldn't decide between the lobster pasta special or the Osso Bucco that everyone has raved about. Skylar explained that it was the last weekend for the lobster pasta and the Osso Bucco would remain on the menu. I figured it was the perfect excuse to return soon to try it. She also discussed the generous portion of lobster that came on top of the dish as well as integrated throughout. She wasn't kidding! Every bite was luxurious, with generous chunks of sweet, succulent lobster nestled in a rich, creamy sauce that had the ideal consistency and flavors. The fresh pasta was cooked to perfection (often it can be to mushy) soaking up all the decadent flavors. My husband ordered the 10 oz filet medium rare and it could not have been cooked any more perfect. Truly picturesque. We also added 2 vegetables side dishes (also under the guidance of Skylar) to break up the richness of the lobster and the meat. Broccolini and crispy brussels. Couldn't ask for better sides. The Crispy Brussels Sprouts were an unexpected star. Perfectly caramelized with a slight crunch infused with thick chunks of bacon, giving them a sweet-savory finish that was impossible to resist. We were stuffed but we could not help but finish the brussels. Skylar's attentive service made the meal even more enjoyable--her timing was impeccable. Taverna Toscana is not only a feast for the palate but also a masterclass in warm, inviting hospitality. Highly recommended! (Parking is also a breeze here. They have complimentary valet and it's so easy to pull off and pull right in. You enter on lowest level of the building and take the elevator up to the first floor) We can't wait to return!

Fantastic... I save 5 stars for those truly exceptional places. Taverna Toscana earned it, the food was exceptional. We ordered the meatball which was to die for, along with the Grilled Octopus...Fantastic. I could have ordered that for my meal, but didn't stop there. We ordered the bolognese and pork chop and they didn't disappoint. Along with the fantastic food, our service was outstanding, thanks to Devin our waiter. Lastly the ambiance was perfect for a night out. Once the weather cools the patio will be another option to consider for dining. It was well worth the drive to dine at TT. I hope you consider opening another restaurant in Sarasota or St Armands Key, you'd kill it Bravo Fabio and team

Wowwwww!!!! Amazing!!!! I can't say enough about out this amazing restaurant! Our server D'Angelo made all the best recommendations!! We had appetizers of octopus, crostini, meatball and Parker rolls all AMAZING!! Dinner we had a filet, osso buco, shrimp fra diavolo, short rib bolognese and pork chop. Everything was sooooo good. Desserts were tiramisu, limoncello cake and affogatos. Cannot wait to come back again!!!

What a wonderful place! We came for our two year wedding anniversary. We were greeted by the hostess who was very apologetic about being on a very lengthy phone call that had us waiting quite a while to get our table. But we were then greeted by Jackie who was the most lovely waitress! She wished us a happy anniversary and was very helpful with walking us through the menu. We opted to try the Roman Pizza as an appetizer with our cocktails. Definitely try the French 75, it is so good with the raspberry. The prosciutto arugula pizza was so delicious, perfectly crispy bottom and gooey cheese. Add a bit of cracked pepper and it's perfect! I had the pork chop for dinner and it was my favorite meal out in a long time. Perfectly cooked, thick and crispy edges. The sauce on the plate went perfectly with the chick peas and broccolini. It had a Moroccan feel to the dish but so so tasty! My husband had the short rib bolognese with homemade pasta. It too was delicious! I really enjoyed eating Here and the service was also a highlight! Never had to ask for refills of drinks, very attentive. They even sent us home with a tiramisu for our anniversary. Will definitely be back!

Delightful first experience! We tried happy hour. Great choices. Dessert! Our service was efficient. The atmosphere was quiet and delightful.

Comfortable patio seating, great service , delicious food, well made cocktails. Pricey but worth it. If you haven't already been you should definitely go.

Spent part of the afternoon today at the Pasta on the Patio event here. A special dining experience with owner/ executive chef Fabio Viviani at the helm. We started with champagne and a divine bruchetta. Once seated we dined on Fabio's iconic wagyu meatball and selected wines paired to each dish...then on with the show. While Fabio was center stage showing us all "how to" make pasta from scratch, we continued to enjoy a delicious homemade orecchiette pasta dish, tiramisu and espresso. Sheer perfection! Fabio's presentation and the meal served were a true dining experience we won't soon forget. Check out all the unique options available along with a wonderful full menu and bar.

been to this restaurant at least five times, and while I used to really enjoy it, the last two visits have been just okay. We went recently to celebrate my mom's birthday, and unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. The Parker rolls were still delicious as always, but the rest of the evening didn't go as smoothly. Our food was left sitting by the window for a while before it got to us.By the time everything arrived, my daughter's pasta was dry and cold, and my chicken--with a side of mac and cheese--was also cold. The chicken was taken back to be reheated, but they left the mac and cheese on the table, so I didn't get to enjoy them together. My other daughter's plate was also cold, but she didn't want to say anything and just ate it. My mom did get a complimentary dessert for her birthday, which we appreciated, but we were surprised to see a charge for the birthday candle on the bill. I really want to keep liking this place, but the inconsistency and little details like that make it hard to justify coming back, especially for special occasions.

A good meal, a few problems which lead me to question the value, overall nice experience. Seven people, $720 tab, no alcohol inclusive of tax and gratuity Great ambience, lively place, pleasant and polite, hostess and server, however, for a party of seven we only had one server, and she couldn't keep up with water and silverware service, along with her other tables. The problems, they have a lot of cheesy sides, not cheesy or corny, but cheesy has lots of dairy, and they're served in shallow metal pans so the cheese firms up before you can serve yourself. They should invest in some crockery that holds heat better. The $70 ribeye steak ordered medium rare came out visibly well done, I can't believe the expediter allowed this to leave the kitchen. But what was worse was after they drop the food, I went to try to return it and it was like they knew it was overdone and hoped we would ignore it and just eat it, I actually had to walk back to the kitchen to find someone to help me replace this overcooked steak. Of Course the replacement was charred on the outside and red on the inside, that's why they've gotta get it right the first time, difficult to make it right after that The steak was not good, but no trip apologizing or any compensation The tri-tip on the risotto was sinuwey (sp?) The good. The octopus was so good. We ordered a second order, the wedge salad was excellent. Mac & cheese, awesome. Hope for this price, they step up their service and actually have somebody looking at the food before it leaves the kitchen

Tania made this wonderful night just incredible! Her knowledge and passion for making this night that much more special made this experience that much better. The food? Amazing! A+ to everyone in this establishment. Can't wait to come back.

We've been to Taverna several times, and each time was better than the previous! The food is outstanding, the inside is the picture of an original Italian eatery making it a comfortable and relaxing dining experience. We have been fortunate enough to have Taylor as our server each time. She is an amazing server. She knows all the different types of food available and makes informative recommendations to everyone according to their tastes. I was a server for many years and appreciate someone who is as knowledgable and willing to make suggestions that have been absolutely delicious! See you soon Taylor. Patricia Garrity

When the Italian restaurant across the street decided to randomly close early we opportunized and found this awesome gem. We sat on the patio and had the sweetest server. We had the pasta vodka rose, diavola pasta, pizza and wedge salad. It was all really good!

my husband and I celebrated our one month wedding anniversary here, and Taylor was amazing! She made us feel so at home as it was our first time here, and helped us really celebrate in every way. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the food was great. We got the octopus as our appetizer, the dry aged steak and the osso bucco for our mains, and the pistachio cake for dessert. It was all great but especially the osso bucco which was so tender and flavorful. We had a wonderful time!

This spot is going to be something special in downtown Bradenton! The aesthetics are top tier our server Stefania was literally THEE best. The menu has a wonderful variety of items and our food was delicious. Cooked to perfection and they were giving out complimentary dessert during the soft opening! All in all I had a wonderful experience and will absolutely be back! A big thank you to Brian for enhancing the experience!

I'd give 50 stars if I could!! Amazing!! We had Prosecco , meatball appetizer, pecorino Parker rolls and whipped Ricotta crostini, wings were so tender I think they Brine them flavor was amazing.Dinner was sea bass, Chianti, onion soup, Mac n cheese and 2 pizzas. The service was amazing and the ambiance had a beautiful piano playing. Thank you Grace your Chicago family was amazed!! We also bought $200 in gift certificates for gifts..

Octopus is amazing and the ambiance is superb. Service was impeccable and the celebration candles on the dessert gelato was out of this world! Jennifer made us feel at home and the patio seemed private with only one other couple outside at the time. Found a new white wine I love, thanks Jen!

Went for dinner last night with daughter in law, son and husband for dil's birthday. Easy free parking across the street. Restaurant is on the second floor of an office building, but once you're seated, you would never know it. It's truly beautiful inside but not too "fancy" or formal. We had reservations at 6:45 on a Sunday and I would definitely recommend them. We started with the Waygu meatball and the crostini as apps and both were delicious. Meatball is humongous- even with sharing the 2 apps among 4 people part of the meatball was taken home. Drinks were also good- I can't remember the names of them, sorry. For mains- my son and I each got the short rib pasta dish, daughter in law got the cioppino (?sp) and husband got the shrimp fra diablo (also?sp). Everything was very tasty and portions were large. Tiramisu was the birthday girl's choice for dessert and it was brought out with a very impressive sparkler candle. This was not your typical southern Italian veal parm type restaurant - it was perfect for a special occasion and we would return.
