Taverne du Passage is a true classic in the heart of Brussels.
The sole was perfectly prepared with precise, traditional technique. The spaghetti vongole was fresh and well balanced, built on clean seafood flavors. The onion soup was rich and deeply flavored, with a properly gratinated cheese topping.
The meal was accompanied by an Alsace Riesling, which paired very well with both the fish and the seafood dishes.
The restaurant was filled almost exclusively with local Belgian guests, creating an authentic, lively atmosphere with a very good ambiance.
Service was attentive, smooth, and professional.
A reliable choice for classic French–Belgian cuisine in central Brussels.
