Just visited Taverne du Pélican, and it was incredible! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff were friendly and attentive. The drink selection was impressive, with a great variety of beers and cocktails to choose from. Whether you’re looking for a cozy spot to unwind or a lively place to hang out with friends, this pub hits all the marks. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

The owner runs a tight ship, in the best way. Service is quick, staff are well trained and respectful. The place is meticulously organized and clean, well taken care of. Sincerely a wonder to watch the bar work in action. Drinks are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is always friendly and relaxed. Cute deco. Can't recommend enough.

Both bartenders were taking shots with their friends rather than serving my partner. They both even watched us walk out too. I do not recommend this place. We waited for 15 minutes and it was not busy at all. Worst service I have ever had.

Saturday night, we walk around the streets to find a place to sit down and catch up. We find this place. Such a nice homey environement, with nice decor, it came to our surprise that this place was not pack. They have a nice pool table, free popcorn and very affordable drinks. The place is upscale and clean, looks very trendy not like a dive bar. I wasn't a fan of my Caesar, and that is the only reason this got a 4 out of 5 and not full stars.

One of the most unique and fun neighbourhood bars that I have been to in awhile. Taverne du pélican has managed to have soul and capture the strong essence of the community that mile end / plateau has to offer. Incredibly friendly staff. Wonderful place and vibes. If I lived closer, I would come here every day.

J'y suis allé plusieurs fois. Toujours agréable. Beaucoup de locaux, plusieurs se connaissent, c'est sympa et accueuillant. À mon sens, entre faire la file au Henrietta et ce bar, je choisis le Pélican sans même y penser. C'est simple, cool, vrai! Plus tard en soirée ça devient impossible de jouer au billard, mais bon, c'est quand même très agréable. Le personnel est sympatique aussi. Je recommande!

What a gem. Stumbled on this spot before seeing a show at Theatre Fairmont. Lovely vibe inside. Great tunes and classic drinks. The bartender was superb.

I love this neighbourhood bar. Drinks are good, decent selection of beers and the vibe is just right for any occasion, be it casual drinks with friends, a date or just to wind down on your own. The pool table and popcorn machine are definitely a plus. Cheers!
