Taverne le Chic Regal

This is a wonderful place tucked away outside of chalevoix metro station. A cash only bar, but with great prices , specials and atmosphere. I found this place as I was searching for karaoke places near my place with this being the closest to me. Getting there it's got a great dive bar feel with a mix of slot machines , pool table , a little stage for karaoke and small 2 to 4 person tables. What I love about this place is it brings a great mix of younger and older crowds all coming together to enjoy karaoke. The owner does a wonderful job maintaining cleanliness with the mics providing free covers which is always a nice added touch. Drink selection on tap is relatively small with about 7 available but for 6$ , you cannot go wrong. One thing to note is that while they have an ATM on site , there are pretty steep fees for withdrawal and no available banks nearby, so come prepared. Overall a great experience and my new Sunday destination for karaoke and a cold beer. Enjoy 🍻

We came here for Karaoke and left with memories. The spagat was great, especially topped with a buon appetito from Mikey the Italian guy. Buan apetito!

Disgusting attitude from the waitress, very unprofessional and unethical customer service. Plus, the staff is going to force you and demand for tips, what for? The crappiest service I just got? I hope this place closes down. Also, what kind of place still takes cash only in 2025?

Richard the bar tender been there for years he knows his job well and is good with customers and he is always happy such a great bartender and cleans the bar the best

Went to karaoke night last night having a great time till stephan came over mad at something my son did something with his friend told me a 70 year old no more drinks for me infront of 45 people and they all hear him yelling at me if Stepan works karaoke every again the Regal will not get my company and l told all my friends how rude he was l can't tell you how i felt in front of 45 people his job is to serve people drinks in the bar not be a mediator between. Good neighbourhood dive to grab a cold one with pals or watch the game. No frills, no fuss, just beer, the game and your buddies with some colourful characters thrown in for good measure. No food, but you're welcome to grab a slice from the pizza joint next door. Don't ever gentrify, Régal!
