10/10 on all accounts. Amazing personable service, the menu has something for everyone which is hard to do and their specials are seasonal and delicious. Now the wines, they have a great and extensive wine list with great price points PLUS a huge cellar list. If you love wine you must come here and be treated to a great evening of food and wine. Oh and the dessert menu is superb. Love restaurants where it's hard to choose what to eat because everything sounds and is delicious. Can't wait to come back.

Was in Montreal for my anniversary and a friend recommended Taverne Sur Le Square and it did not disappoint. I had the house Mac and cheese and I will say this was the best version I've ever had. The cacio e pepe brussel sprouts was also delicious. Service was exceptional. Will definitely be returning and recommend a visit to my friends and family. Thanks for having us 😍

Tavern on the Square, conveniently located in Westmount Square, strikes a nice balance between polished and relaxed. The dining room has a quiet elegance, while the terrace on Sainte-Catherine adds an easygoing charm. We had the cod and the steak; both hit the mark, but the roasted beets were the winner! I’ll go back for that. As always, service was courteous and attentive. The menu is somewhat limited, but everything delivered. A great choice for a date or a laid-back dinner.

We had crab risotto, cauliflower, winter salad , crab toast and roasted chicken. All were good, risotto was the best among these. So food is good, atmosphere is great but the prices were too high l m afraid.

Server Anthony was very professional and knowledgeable. The food was something a child could do better...overcooked rigatoni with a watery tomato "sauce", tagliatelle mushroom had 1 mushroom in it and no taste. Those frozen chicken wings were embarrassing. The roasted chicken was the only dish that was a success and very good. Nonetheless the server and the ambience compensated a big part.

Gorgeous restaurant, nice ambiance and great service!! We all got the Rigatoni pasta and found the portion to be small and the pasta lacking in flavour. It was not bad but not the best pasta I’ve ever had, which is why I deducted a star. The cauliflower and Focaccia were however very good.

First I want to say that dessert was astonishing ! But main dish was disappointing. Duck was tough, I couldn’t cut it with a knife and also portion were small. I think this place a bit overpriced but probably because of the nice atmosphere and good service.
