"Enter through the huge wooden doors of this old military stable and you’ll find yourself in a large and stunningly converted room with a truly buzzing atmosphere. A huge horse’s head – a copy of Leonardo's Cavallo di Forcione and a reminder of the building’s former life – takes centre stage in the bar, which is a popular spot for a cocktail and some nibbles. When it comes to the food, it’s all about Italy, with the fresh, flavoursome dishes prepared on-view in the open kitchen. From homemade pizzas and pastas to traditional meat dishes, there’s something for everyone here." - Michelin Inspector

The evening started of great with a quick call to the restaurant asking if it was possible to come in with the dog. They were very happy about it and even accommodate a table in the corner near a wall including a drinking bin for our dog. When we arrived we were taking to our table by the friendly staff who explained to us the idea of the restaurant of shared dining. The menu is wide ranging from pastas, anti pastas, pizzas, side dishes, desserts, wines, soft drinks and cocktails/mocktails. On the menu it is highlighted well what is vegan and what is vegetarian, however some vegetarian options do have cheese and all their cheese contains rennet so if you are strict on diets do check this with the staff. They are happy to help. The food and drinks arrived quickly but this didn’t take away of the taste. Which was lightly said great, and we understand why they were taken into the Michelin guide. So we highly recommend visiting this place. The building and atmosphere is very nice and you keep seeing new things. We will definitely come again when in the area!

This is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants I've visited. The atmosphere and decoration itself is extravagant. Most importantly, the place's extravagance aligns with the quality and taste of the food. Definitely recommend a visit.

It was an enjoyable experience to visit such a beautifully restored building, which creates a very pleasant and unique atmosphere. The food was excellent — we ordered the waiter’s selection of the five most popular dishes. The service was good overall, but they did not take the time to explain the dishes properly. The staff seemed to be in a hurry and gave some brief explanations that were difficult to understand.

The food was incredible and the space is very cool. It gets busy so make a reservation or come earlier! I really enjoyed the mushroom pasta and the arancini

Our dinner had a rough start, because of the cold and unwelcoming lady at reception. The rest of the evening was much better, fast and friendly service, Mattis had eye for everything. We enjoyed the meatballs and the chicken parmesan, the wild boar ragu was a bit underwhelming.

The food was truly amazing! We shared the shrimp pasta, the Parmesan chicken and the pesto pasta 😋 The staff also arranged a special surprise for my friend’s birthday (chocolate lava cake and happy birthday song 🥺)

This restaurant is absolutely stunning, probably one of the best settings I have seen in Sweden. They operate on a tapas style so they say, but I find some dishes a little big for sharing too many of. The food is lovely and very well presented !! Service is very slow, but friendly. We had almost finished the pasta by the time the pizza arrived. They have a great wine and non alcoholic drinks list.

Tavolo is all looks, no bite. The place is chic and the atmosphere is very intriguing and fun. We decided on Tavolo because we got a gift card. Unfortunately, we left disappointed. We got the charcuterie board, which came with a meat spread that had nothing to spread it on. Other than that we enjoyed the board. We also got a cocktail, mocktail, and beer which we also enjoyed. For our mains we chose two type of pasta. The zozzona and one with pesto. The zozzona was not good, it was just a sloppy mess with no distinct flavor. The pesto dish was good but heavy. We finished the meal with dessert. A "Panna Cotta" that was more like yogurt with some crumble on top and a the tiramisú, which I recommend. Unfortunately, my husband got a bad stomach after the meal, which really made the experience poor. If your looking for a cool, moody place to have some drinks and a tiramisú, Tavolo is fine but skip dinner here.
