"When you visit, pretty much every table will sport a massive, majestic deep-fried catfish, as part of the ca bong lau nuong dish (billed as “DIY wrap dishes, served with herbs, lettuce and vermicelli). It takes 30 minutes to prepare, and it is — without question — worth the wait, for the crispy, caramelized sheets of scallion-sprinkled skin alone. Snack on the skin while it’s hot, then make a rice paper-encased roll and dip it into the wonderfully funky anchovy sauce. The banh xeo (sizzling rice flour crepe flavored with turmeric) is also quite crisp, with no hint of the soggy middle that plagues so many others." - Becky Grunewald

Very nice food and good value. Mostly Vietnamese locals come here. The grilled catfish hand rolls are good, big portions for this dish. The crab and fish maw soup was also terrific too. Highly recommended.

Although I am grateful that we were seated almost right away, without making a reservation that I didn't know was required, I have to say that this is by far the worst dine in experience I've had. We were able to order about 10 minutes after being seated. Ordered the beef and shrimp skewers, chicken basil stir fry, shrimp spring rolls, rice, and one pho. It took 30 minutes for the beef skewers, spring rolls, and rice to come out. They were not served at the same time though. Each dish came out about 4-5 mins after the other. Surprisingly to me, the pho has not made it out before the other dishes. Thought maybe it was going to be out soon. Nope. The chicken basil stir fry comes out and I'm still waiting for the pho.. told the others to eat first so their food doesn't get cold. After waiting another 20 minutes for the pho, I decided to just tell them to pack it home. Was told it'd be out soon, and still waited another 10 minutes for it. Brought it home to eat, and the broth was extremely sweet and salty. Even added lots of lime to it to balance but at this point it literally killed my hunger. If I waited for an hour for this pho, I expected it to taste really good. Not even mediocre. Sucks because I tasted the other dishes and they were delicious. Im disappointed in the lack of communication from the waitress. We were not even told how long it would be for our food to come out, out of courtesy. If they had told me an estimate wait for our food to be out, tha's a different story. Could be a really great place to dine in more often if the service is better. Never going back. Good luck to those that come here.

Google
Horrible communication. Tried calling in large order as they requested. Phone rang and rang-no answer. Arrived at restaurant, was ignored. Finally a lady came to take order. Then midway through the order, she left without notice and an elderly man came to continue taking the order. Took 1.5 hours for our food to start being served. We had 8 people at our table, only 6 glass of water was provided, however one of the glass was dirty and cloudy. Overheard a group of 3 guest sitting nearby (party of 3) complaining that they had been waiting 45 minutes for their food. When the food FINALLY arrived, every thing tasted great. We do not plan on returning.

The catfish wrap is always good here. Just make sure you call in and make a reservation so you can get a table.

You really have to plan strategically to dine here. No joke, my friend has been telling me about the fried catfish in forever. Their hours are 5-9 pm Thursday to Monday. Closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. If you try to come on the weekend or Friday night. There is usually a wait, unless you come at 5 pm when they just opened. Also, they seem to be short staff. This review is based on my take-out experience for the fried catfish. We ordered the medium size, which comes with the rice paper, vegetables, vermicelli and two sauces (fish sauce & anchovy sauce). I don't know what they season the fish with or how they fry it but it is insanely good! I couldn't get enough of it. I love fish in general, especially fried fish. I would definitely get the large fish plus a meat dish next time for family of 4. Definitely 5 stars for the fried catfish. The service can use some improvement. I had called at 4:50 pm to place my order and was told to pick-up at 6 pm. She took down my name and phone number. When I got there at 6 pm on the dot, they couldn't find my order. I think she gave my order away to someone else. I end up waiting for another 10-15 minutes and she didn't even address the mistake/wait or offer an apology. It's not a huge deal and I get the impression that is the norm for them.

We just finished dinner here. 7 people (2 kids, 5 adults). The restaurant was just lightly busy. What did Why do peopl Dinner took 2 hours. We sat in the middle of the restaurant and were forgotten. There were other tables that got their food and were leaving before we got anything on our table. I had to get up multiple times to ask where our food was. At the end of dinner, they realized they forgot our drinks and casually just slipped it on our table as we were putting food in to-go boxes. Of course, they charged us for it. We also had ordered a catfish claypot in advance to-go because we knew it would take some time. They forgot that too. When I asked and complained, the gentleman at the hostess station said “sorry, we are just busy”. I have ordered from this establishment multiple times, but the service and accountability tonight was just disrespectful. It just showed they did not care for their customers. Sad to say, my family and I will not be supporting them anymore.

Fried catfish spring rolls! So yummy. Will be back soon.

Charro T.

Yelp
Catfish spring rolls is a must! The crispness just added to the texture with the noodles, fresh herbs, and sauce. Ordered: Catfish spring rolls (feeds many, this was our main course), steak salad, lemongrass pork, spring rolls, viet coffee.

Yelp
As much as I wanted to love this place it was very hard due to the extremely slow service. The food was great nonetheless but everything just took forever. This place clearly needs more help and I am not sure as to why they don't hire more people. If they did then they would be able to clear out the tables much faster and seat more people. Unfortunately, it takes about 40 minutes to clear out the table as there's only one person doing it. If the owners really cared about the longevity of this place as they do have quality food, then they need to consider hiring more staff.

Yelp
Came here on Christmas Eve to dine with my family. Because of our previous experience and other reviews to make reservations to come here, we made a reservation. We actually called in during the time they are supposed to be closed, like sometime around 4 or so, and they actually picked up the phone. We let them know we wanted a reservation and to order the fried catfish. They gave us the recommendation to get the large based on our party of 4. When we arrived at opening time, there were already like two other parties waiting ahead of us, and it seemed like they had reservations as well. When we were seated, it was sort of unclear whether they knew we had the catfish order, so we had to clarify with the lady working there. We ended up ordering a few other things. I wasn't sure how much food would come out with the catfish. I definitely feel that the recommended serving size is accurate. I would say that I would have preferred to have more rice paper and noodles to go with our dish, so next time, I would order extra. There is ample herbs, and the sauce is soooo good. The fish is so fresh and not fishy smelling! The fried texture of the fish is divine! I would totally order this dish again. Totally worth it and I understand the hype. We also ordered the grilled mussels, and they were really good! It is topped with french butter, scallions, crushed peanuts, and a side of anchovy sauce. Another dish we ordered was the authentic Vietnamese rice claypot. It had pork, taro, and celery rice topped with grilled prawns and scallions. Not sure if I could taste the celery in there! I think this dish could benefit from a little more salt! Overall I would totally come back now that I've experienced the catfish!

Yelp
A friend recommended this place a for fried catfish spring rolls. They don't open til 5pm. There was no option online to reserve so I called during the day and there was no answer. Called again just after 4pm and they did answer and put our party down for a table and ordered ahead 2 small fried catfish (only size available for the day) which is the norm since it usually takes 30-40 min to cook them. We got there right on time for our reservation and the place was empty, the open sign and ceiling lights weren't even on yet. Pretty small space and our small table for 5-6 could barely fit everything once the catfish came out. People started trickling in quickly for both dine in and take out. We were seated with water but no one offered us menus or take our order for drinks or appetizers. We kept having to flag the person down to ask things. Didn't even get to try their lemon iced tea, not that the menu had drinks. We only had the option for water during our visit. At one point we observed a guest coming in to pick up their pre-ordered trays but they were given to the wrong people that had just left minutes before the right people came in. It was taking so long, we were contemplating just getting up to leave at one point because we were so hungry but kept hanging onto hope since the rice paper and fish sauces had already been brought out. Our catfish didn't come out til exactly ONE HOUR, 5 minutes after our reservation time...so what was the point of taking our order ahead of time on the phone? This dinner caused my relatives' plans for the rest of the day to be heavily delayed or ruined and we tried to rush eating so it wasn't as enjoyable as it should've been. The taste of the food was fine but I can't give full stars for the slow experience - they need to hire more staff asap!

Yelp
A small Vietnamese restaurant that packs really delicious foods. I'm a fiend for spring rolls so I had to order that. Probably the best spring rolls I've ever had because of that peanut sauce -- it's just different I can't even explain it, definitely different from other Vietnamese places. That Bun Bo Hue hit the spot on a windy, chilly evening. My bowl was full of meat and the broth was delicious. The grilled chicken was not dry and lemongrass beef was tender. The crab fried rice complimented the beef and the chicken well. The service was quick but it took a while for the food to come out so I'd say it was worth the wait. Also the establishment was well kept compared to other Vietnamese restaurants.

Yelp

Deep Fried Chicken Wings: crispy outside; juicy inside; the sauce was sweet and slightly spicy; loved that it came with sliced veggies to cut the heaviness of the fried chicken - P4. Build Your Own Pho: SO did not like it but ate it because he was hungry; probably not the place to get pho - R4. Grilled Five Spice Chicken: the five spices weren't prevalently tasted in the chicken, but it had a nice grill taste to it and everything else that came with it made it filling - V1. Vegetarian Eggrolls: loved that it came with rice noodles, pickled veggies, and fresh herbs; it was crispy and fresh - V2. Vegetarian Spring Rolls: never had a peanut sauce like the one this came with; it was still nice and liked that it was saucey vs. clumpy - V6. Vegetable Curry: SO's sister isn't a tofu fan so she left those alone, but she really enjoyed the spice and comfort this brought CUSTOMER SERVICE: - upon entering and being seated right away, we were initially asked if we were ordering the catfish (as it takes 30 minutes to prepare) before ordering anything else - server was very accommodating

Yelp
We had been wanting to visit this establishment for 2 years now, but due to COVID it was closed for a minute. Today was finally the day. The wait was worth it, as We loved everything we had. We arrived and the place was quiet and not too many patrons at the the time we arrived. We were sat right away by a friendly hostess. Below are the dishes we had. 1. Crab fried rice, delicious and lots of crab meat. Not greasy at all 2. Spicy Lemongrass chicken. So tender and juicy 3. Vietnamese beef Carpaccio, mouthwatering and you could taste the lime and sugar, yummy. 4. Fried prawns. Lightly battered with so much flavor and the veggies had the taste of the worn which we loved. 5. Cat fish clay pot. I loved the flavors Please order by # when you visit as it makes it easier for the hostess to place your order.

Linh N.

Yelp
Omg their fried catfish do it yourself spring rolls are so good. Must try! If you want the fried catfish roll please call them 30-45 mins ahead so they can get it ready for you before you arrive. This place is such a gem. You can even order it to go which many customers did. The bánh xèo was crispy and big portion. It was too coconut in flavor for me and I'm not a fan of mung beans in my bánh xèo but my friends enjoyed it. Their hours are odd. Opened later in the day so don't plan for lunch here. The place was clean and spacious.

Yelp
Yesterday I went there eat beef pho I ask meat on side they change me 4.95 I nếp eat pho there no more

Yelp
When you walk into this restaurant, you will smell all the flavors of Vietnamese food. I couldn't wait to eat! I'm used to Vietnamese restaurants that serve mainly Pho. So this was a pleasant change. Everything I tried here was so flavorful! I've always loved ordering catfish clay pot, but unfortunately, it's not a common dish at every Vietnamese restaurant. So it was a treat for me to have it here. The sweet and sour soup with prawn was delicious. It was great on its own or with white rice. I would suggest asking for more lime as the soup was on the sweeter side. The waiter, who was the only person working the front tonight, was so generous, patient, and kind. Even though he was super busy, he still made the effort to make sure my party was doing okay. Overall, everything I tried here tonight exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes!! Also, don't forget to check in to Yelp for a free sweetened ice tea!

Nina H.

Yelp
We preordered a catfish before coming in since it takes a while to cook. This catfish was quite delicious. It was super crispy and glazed in this sweet sauce. I'm not sure that spring rolls were the best vehicle for the fish, I kind of wonder if something more plain so the fish could shine might be better. But I do love spring rolls, and it was tasty. We had ordered a fish for four and the fish was giant, but we demolished that fish. I also tried some of my friends beef carpaccio which was also very good. Overall I would come back.

Karen M.

Yelp
We love Tay Giang!!! We usually call in ahead of time if we are dining in for the fish wrap, since we are traveling from out of town the catfish is ready by the time we arrive to the restaurant. Service was great! Food exceptional per usual!!!!!

Ericka P.

Yelp
The service was a bit slow here, but I think because it's a mom and pop restaurant. The food was very delicious. Everything had very good flavor. I can't wait to come back so that I can try some of there more popular dishes. I ordered the pho but they only had egg noodles at the time, but it was pretty good. I have gotten larger portions at other restaurants and wish the portion was more.

Nga L.

Yelp
Anytime I visit my sister in Elk Grove, catfish spring roll is one of my fav dinner to enjoy with them! This restaurant is my go to for catfish! Always fresh! Generous portion of veggies, sauce, noodles, and rice paper. You can also order extra on the side! Service: we have never had a problem with calling in an order for pick up. The gentlemen who answers is always very professional.

Tiffany L.

Yelp
Wow, we came here around 7pm on a Saturday evening, and we stood and sat in the waiting area for 15 minutes without being acknowledged at all! There were a few tables that hadn't been cleaned yet as there were still used plates and utensils sitting on the tables. There appeared to only be one employee working, so I felt bad as she was probably overwhelmed. I tried to give her some time. During the 15 minutes we were there, I saw her give food to the people who arrived to pick up their to-go orders, and then she went back to the kitchen. My issue is that she never acknowledged us or at all even though our group of 5 people was right in front of her waiting. I was hoping she would at least greet us and maybe explain how long the wait would be. But since she completely ignored us, we left after 15 minutes of waiting. I've never had that happen to me at a restaurant before, in which I wasn't even acknowledged while waiting to be seated. Very poor customer service.

Yelp
Friday, 12/16/2022 - Tried Tay Giang Restaurant tonight for dinner. Address is 7321 W Stockton Blvd, Ste 100, Sacramento, CA 95823. Located right across from Consumes River College. Upon arrival: Pros: 1) plenty of parking. 2) restaurant was small and cute. 3) tables, chairs, utensils, plates, cups all clean. 4) water tasted good. No metal or funky taste. 5) they have spring roll wraps. It has a little section where there warm water and the dry wraps are next it. You just dip the wraps in the warm water, add the fillings, wrap and wa-la! The sauce for it was good. 6) the fried fish was delicious. The raw beef plate was REALLY good. I tried it and couldn't even tell it was raw. The seasoning and sauce in the raw beef was absolutely good. 7) all of the foods and drinks were good. 8) make sure you check in to get that free tea! 9) the staff was very nice. 10) bathroom was clean. Two stalls. Cons: 1) they didn't check on us to see if we needed anything else. We pretty much had to look for them if we needed anything else or wanted to order more items. 2) service slow. Seems they are under staff. So if you come, please have some patience. 3) there's no restaurant name logo on the restaurant. I almost couldn't find them. But they are next to Kiki's chicken. Conclusion: I really this restaurant. Foods and drinks good. Staff nice. Small and quaint. I'd go here again.

Frank N.

Yelp
Only 2 ladies who cover the entire restaurant not caring about their customers waiting. Many people left. We waited 45' and they did not even let us sit while there were empty seats. Rude and poor service.

Christine N.

Yelp
Food was ok. We got the Com Bi Suon Nuong and the Bo Cuon La Ngo aka Bo la lot. The pork was kinda tough and the Bo la lot rolls were big but didn't have much flavor. I did really like the anchovy sauce that come with it though. One waitress busting her butt. Menu doesn't have drinks and when I asked her she didn't really know.

Andy N.

Yelp
They need to pick up the phone if they still want customers, probably they dont care anymore ever since after Covid. Btw i know their business hours 5-9pm

Hieu L.

Yelp
This place is only open for dinner and I have to highlight quality over quantity. Food will not come out fast here, if you order in advance and make a reservation it may make the process a bit faster, for the grilled fish is made to order and can take up to 30 minutes to cook. This isn't a fast food restaurant, they put love and care into their dishes. Everything reminds me of home cooking or food back in Vietnam. Everything is a thumbs up on my books. For being such a small and busy restaurant, the server was attentive but I can see where they lack staffing and the one man army can handle most of the tasks. They need a little bit more help but I commend the swiftness of taking the orders and recommendations of ordering certain dishes like a stir fry that will take a bit longer because the kitchen is tight and small. The grilled beef sticks are juicy and the shaking cube beef was tender. Too many times have I had dry beef and or grilled chicken at other establishments. The flavors are spot on with balance in every aspect. Vietnamese food is a symphony of flavors. They have a distinct use of fresh, fragrant and aromatic flavours. There is a balance of sweet and sour, spicy and cooling, fresh and salty flavours (from the Vietnamese staple fermented fish sauce, or 'nuoc mam'). I can tell an OG is in the back whipping it up and food speaks for itself.

linda N.

Yelp
They're most known for their roasted catfish. They do a great job of packing it to go as well, with plenty of fresh herbs and vegetables. This is always a must order when eating here. Bo Tai Chanh (beef carpaccio) is so good here. Prob the best in town. The portion is very generous, beef is sliced very thin and their lemon and fish sauce mixture is delicious. Butter chicken with rice is also very good. A great lunch or dinner item. Great place to eat overall. They have several tables inside the restaurant and can easily maneuver them for large parties.

Lisa T.

Yelp
My partner and I stopped by later in the evening so it was less busy. We get sat down shortly after waiting a few minutes and then our food also came out quickly after order (definitely a plus). The food was tasty and fresh. The environment was alright.

Don T.

Yelp
Disappointing Experience: Long Wait and Understaffed I called ahead to place an order for pickup, and I was told it would be ready in 40 minutes. When I arrived, they hadn't even started preparing my order because they forgot to write it down. I ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes, which was frustrating. The restaurant was clearly understaffed, with only one worker managing a busy Saturday crowd. While I felt sorry for the overwhelmed employee, it doesn't excuse the underlying problem. Although the food is delicious, the long wait and staffing issues overshadowed the experience. I hope they can improve their efficiency and staffing levels to provide better service in the future.

Sophia P.

Yelp
The food is always so good here. This is my first time back since the pandemic and it did not disappoint. The R7 pan fried butter chicken is my absolute favorite, along with the A1 imperial rolls. Service is always friendly and quick.

Crystie T.

Yelp
Ummm truly, the catfish is the star. Like you come here to get the catfish. If you're looking for an experience (making your own wrap + eating family style) this is a great place. There are many components that come along with the catfish, like sauce, vegetables + herbs (which are very very fresh and healthy), banh trang (rice paper) so keep in mind when ordering too many dishes because there won't be a lot of surface room. Their bo luc lac (shaken beef) and beef carpaccio was also very flavorful and delicious. The prices for different sizes of catfish are fair too, in my opinion. Definitely helps to call ahead to order the fish because it gets really busy. You will absolutely leave full and satisfied.

Linda V.

Yelp
Not open til 9 they're closed atm. SMH what kind of business does this? Fix your hours online please.

Penelope L.

Yelp
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! The food is always so flavorful and scrumptious and I love the variety and inclusion of vegetarian options as well.it's a very cute and cozy restaurant; slightly small but it's nice. The service is amazing ! We only came in once and on our second time, the guy remembered us and our order - it feels nice to be greeted and remembered. Our first time there, the host/server was very helpful and explained a variety of the dishes and even helped us order our items in a way that would help save a bit of money too. Overall, can't recommend this place enough. Everything is authentic, from the food to the people.

Lucy V.

Yelp
Called in advance to pick up an order, they said it would be ready in 40 minutes. When I came there was a long line at the front and only one worker working the front and serving people. After half an hour it was our turn to pick up our order only for her to tell us they forgot to put our order in and if we could wait thirty more minutes. I ended up cancelling the order. I can't blame the one worker, it was a busy Saturday and she was working the whole place herself. I don't understand why the owners won't hire one more person to help out. It's not like this is the first time I've seen just one person running around working. Even saw the owners eating here once with all their friends without helping while one person handled all the chaos. Great food but not worth all the hassle.

Julienne P.

Yelp
This has been my favorite place to eat spring rolls for many many years. DIY wraps are so fun and the portions are great. They always have fresh veggies. My family has had the fried catfish here many times and it never disappoints. Try out the anchovy sauce if you love extra flavor service is always pleasant and it is a quiet intimate place for family dinner, lone meal, or date night!

Samantha T.

Yelp
Their deep fried catfish and vermicelli tor spring roll wrap is the favorite From my daughters and me It's our go to place

Hung T.

Yelp
I order to go and the food was good but next time I probably eat there so the fish would be fresh hot and the skin would be crispy.

Marissia M.

Yelp
Is today an off day or something? I had called in for a fish order at 5 to pick up at 6, but then once I arrived I was told I had to wait another hour until 7? They said similar things to people who also called in for an order. Seems like their staff members aren't trained and need to hire more people to support the restaurant. Don't take phone orders if you can't support it. Yelp reviews make the food look good but it's not worth the service.

Hai L.

Yelp
I have yet to try this restaurant for dining but I did do take out. We ordered their fried catfish which was probably one of the best I ever had. Something about the marinade on it and how crispy it was. Highly recommend!

Victoria D.

Yelp
This place was very disorganized. Even if you call ahead of time they are unprepared and do not complete orders on time. This was a bad experience and I would not come back. It was a long drive to get to this place so I was hoping it would be good. It was not worth the drive or the wait.

Bao H.

Yelp
Food is good; but service is very bad! Never was able to dial in to make reservation or order food!

Benjamin C.

Yelp
I've been coming as a regular about once a week or two weeks for a couple of months now. Authentic Vietnamese food, great flavors, fresh vegetables/spices, good portions. It's got more creativity and flavors than most Elk Grove restaurants I can think of. I haven't been disappointed by their food yet, and I think I have pretty high food standards when it comes to taste. I've ordered the fried catfish (must order, if you don't, you are missing out big time), chicken skewers, many versions of vermicelli noodles, some sort of beef platter, pho, and etc. Disclaimer, you can try to call (if you're lucky they pick up) to order a fried catfish so your wait time isn't long. Service is unfortunately slow (maybe a couple times of 20 minute waits for food or service) because they only have 2 or 3 servers holding down the fort. English is not their strongest suit so be patient lol. Servers are kind and welcoming, just might take a few tries to get their attention since they are so busy and English is difficult. Ambiance is good, can be cold if you sit under the AC vent, but other than that, very clean, bright, no strange odors.

Steven S.

Yelp
Very good service as well as very good fried catfish spring roll, got the small, certainly enough for two ppl

Hongo T.

Yelp
My go-to spot was Pho Le, but after multiple calls and with zero luck; I ended up giving Tay Giang Restaurant a try. I ordered Pho Dac Biet (L) Pho Bo Vien(L) and Claypot cat fish with rice; all so yummy! My boyfriend loved the broth! Their price for a large pho is so cheap! Normally a large would be at least $11! I liked how they give you clear containers (okay plastic in general is bad for the environment); which gives you a "peak" to what is packed inside! They are very generous with their portions sizes so that's a plus! When you do order phone takeout, make sure to call once you are at their door, or else they won't let you in (it's locked from the outside). My boyfriend knocked multiple of times only to realized he had to call first to be let in. Lol

Jimmy S.

Yelp
Food is good, place is quite busy but the service is slow and the server doesn't understand English at all, I am not sure they want to serve other guests except Vietnamese

Mark A.

Yelp
If there was a zero I'd give them that as I never got my order. Called in an order and was told it would be 25 minutes. Got there after 40 minutes, waited ten minutes at the register without being acknowledged, and when some one finally helped me they told me it would be another 20-25 minutes. Will never waste my time with this place.

Megan M.

Yelp
Yummy! Favorites: beef salad (hold the peanuts) excellent marinated steak, delightful lime dressing with fresh crisp veggies Pho tai- good noodles, beef and broth and chili oil. Service was pleasant. Clean place Preferred improvements : The soup spoons with the lip at the end so that they don't fall into the bowl. Water didn't taste good

Cherish M.

Yelp
I believe it's the only Vietnamese catfish in the area . I'm used to Orange County Vietnamese style catfish and it's comparable. Great veggie available for the fish and great customer service!

Janet R.

Yelp
I initially gave this place 5 stars because pho was good, meat quantity given, etc but I am reviewing it because I've recently tried to order takeout more than twice during business hours and they do not answer. Food is good if you can get it Service isn't organized needs major improvement

Yelp
My wife and I came here to try their baked catfish with banh hoi. We thought the fish was a bit oily and overcooked inside. We did love the crunchiness and being able to make your own wrap. The dipping sauce was too salty for us. I ended making my own sauce to my own taste. Lots of parking in the area and server was very attentive.

Yelp
My husband and I ordered pho with the beef on the side instead of in the soup. We waiting about 20 minutes then the boy who took our order said it would be a $4 each just to have the meat on the side... the lack of communication from the beginning was a major disappointment let alone wasting our time. It does not state on the menu that there would be this weird charge...

Yelp
Called in for fried catfish togo. I got there a little early but food came out on time. Restaurant is clean. They had just opened and there were about 3 tables seated. I did saw hella orders of them catfish receipt like mines waiting at the counter. Got the medium size for 2-3, but it'll feed 4-5 unless you're only having that dish. Would recommend the catfish, although a little pricey.

Yelp
Good service and delicious food. The portions are generous and there is a large variety. There are lots of peanuts in oat of the dishes so beware if you have an allergy.

Yelp
Delicious catfish! Must try. The beef salad amazing and so healthy !! The only thing is the wait. But, it's kinda like jack in the box . Cook till you order . I called in but still it took 1 1/2 hour for fish to come out. Giving the stars for the food and nice young guy who served . Catfish large was huge but we didn't expect it to be so $$$$$. Will be back

Yelp
Worst service imaginable. I placed a 'to go' order of four entrees at 5:50 PM and was asked to come for a 6:40 PM pick-up. I showed up at 6:40 PM. The restaurant is 2/3 empty but am told that it's going take another 15 mins. At around 7:00, the owner tells me my food is done and just getting packed up. Another 15 minutes go by and I ask where my food is and he impolitely says it's going to take another 15 minutes and if I still wanted my food. Needless to say, I canceled my order and left. What's clear is that they never made my order. If they had said it going to take a really long time, I would have been ok with it. But they lied repeatedly, strung me along, and wasted my time.

Yelp
Came here with my other 4 family members and a child on a Friday evening and at the entrance it say please wait to be seated so obviously that's what we did however 10min went by and no one came out to greet or seated us. There were one group to our right that just kept eating and staring at us. Another large group of 8ppl to our left side seemed to be the owners group of parties because some of them just walk to the back of the kitchen grab some dish and sat down, eat and laugh. After still waiting we looked around and no tables were cleaned NOT one. There were previous dishes, dirty napkins and old foods on all those tables. There were no servers that came out to clear not even one tables on a Friday evening which is supposedly one of the busiest week day where business could make the most money yet this place has no server's. We walk towards the back kitchen but didn't enter and call out loud for someone. Finally one of the lady who we thought were a owner parties or family member that sat with the 8ppl to the left got up walk towards us with food still in her mouth not having one care and said "ok I clean a table first ok" we were shocked like wth is going on. What a weird way to run a business. Anyways She was still talking to that group laughing and cleaning at the same time. By this time our child was hungry he done eat 4 of their guava candies and one of my family members had already found another restaurant so we just end up walking out and left.
