Oakland Tay Ho in Southwest terminal offers a solid Chicken Bahn Mi. Crisp vegetables, sweet and ample chicken and taste the smoky BBQ. Huge portion. $20 (airport prices) so not a bargain. Good for the go. I’ll be back on my next travel through OaK

I don't have high expectations for airport food but this was a shockingly bad, close to inedible meal. Ordered a rice bowl with pork ($20) and basically just ate rice, lettuce, and fish sauce for dinner because the pork was burnt/dried to a crisp. It hurt my teeth just trying to chew it. It was close to jerky. It was also 7:10pm on a Tuesday and we got kicked out of the eating area because they were closing.

This Pho place is the worst I’ve ever had. For $20, you get a bowl with broth that barely covers half of the bowl. I asked for more, and they wanted extra charge. It’s ridiculous!

A very plain, bland breakfast sandwich. Really not at all enjoyable other than like, sustenance. For the price especially not worth it, but such is airport food. This review is just breakfast only.

Had a pork banh mi which was very good. The pork had a fantastic aroma. I got the added egg which made it much better in my opinion. There wasn’t much room to eat though which isn’t a huge deal

If you pay $17 for a tofu banh mi here, this is what you get. The sandwich was small, the tofu and carrot/jalapenos were all over the bun, and the condiments were just glopped on top of loose (!) ingredients without being spreading around. I got a beer as well, and the open air fridge meant it wasn't even cold. With tip, it was about $35. I know we all work hard and I'm sure it sucks to work at the airport, but I'm just some guy trying to eat dinner. Whatever scorn or issues you have with your job, please don't take them out on me or my ($17!) sandwich.

The sandwich was fine but what's the point of the sandwich maker wearing gloves if in between sandwich making, the person goes and touches coffee pots touched by exposed hands and comes back and makes sandwiches without changing gloves? This is like wrapping the sandwich on the outside of the wrapping sheet. Defeats the purpose.

This is the first time I’ve been happy about a delayed flight! I love Tay Ho restaurant and was excited to learn about their airport location, but I honestly didn’t think I’d ever get the chance to try it since I’m usually just going out/coming in to my home airport. The quality is not as good as their restaurant, but the quality is good and better than most airport fast food! It definitely hit the spot and I’d have it again! They also have banh mi which is even more ideal for food on the go!
