Yelp
Taylor Street Kitchen is a new eat-in or takeaway spot, a speciality grocery, and bakes in-house.
In the deli case are proteins, like beef and chicken, and on my visit, meatballs. And there are sides and deli salads. You can get those to go or eat in at one of their small tables and their large communal table. Too busy to make dinner? Bring it home!
They bake right there, so they have a small selection of sweet items, things like a savory jalapeno and asparagus scone, and some solid loaves of bread, including an olive como.
There are refrigerated and frozen cases for meats and drinks. There are shelves for coffee, condiments, pasta, and many other kitchen ingredients.
They have a lunch or dinner special of a protein, a robust greens salad that surpasses the usual mixed greens, and a choice of two sides. If you are dining in, they have local beer and wine on tap. Or you can take it home, to the park, or back to the office.
It reminds me of the long closed lunch and salad spot with the original italian restaurant in the Hotel Vintage Plaza.
The space is airy, bright, and modern with some classic influences. The staff were excited about opening and evolving a new small business. Did I say yummy, yes it is!
