I stopped here for dinner with a friend and had some ridiculously delicious sushi. The fish was wonderful and the texture of the sushi was perfect. The restaurant itself is family-run with attentive staff, and we never felt out of place or ignored. Everyone was super friendly and kind, and it seemed like a popular neighborhood spot as they often ran out of seats! There was even a cute little room in the back for large parties that looked like its own house with the decor. Overall I definitely recommend stopping by- I’m sad to just visit and wish I had a spot like this in my hometown!

Hidden gem, located in a residential area. Great value; the portion sizes are at least 30% bigger than other sushi restaurants. My favorite roll is Romeo and Juliet. Yakuza roll is also really delicious!

I have lived just a block away from Tazaki Restaurant for 7 years and I have eaten here maybe 100 times during that period. The quality of the food is incredible, especially for the price. That said, there’s something special about the restaurant that I can’t quite put to words. I have taken people here that are visiting from out of town, I have eaten here by myself after a long day of work, I have made this a ceremonial place for when something is worth celebrating, and everything in between. And so it felt right to consider Tazaki Restaurant as the place that would host a reception dinner for my wife and I on our wedding night. I had asked Chef Tazaki if this is something he would consider and he gladly accepted. He worked with us to create a unique dining experience in that the restaurant would be closed for dine-in, we’d have our own private server, a full range of incredible sushi and Japanese dishes, and a chef-selected assortment of Daiginjo sake. Tazaki Restaurant has an authentic Japanese feel to it, one that is hard to describe, and yet it also has a characteristic to it that feels quintessential to San Francisco. You can tell that the chef takes immense pride in his craft and that the servers care deeply in ensuring that their guests enjoy their meal. My wife, myself, and our guests all had a wonderful night celebrating our marriage and can’t thank Chef Tazaki and his team enough for this experience. Thank you for everything! P.S. These are some of our favorites: N-Judah, Cherry Blossom, Summer Love, Omakase, Toro

Possibly the best quality/dollar value sushi in San Francisco. I lived in the Outer Sunset for 2 years, and that’s when I discovered Tazaki Sushi. It’s patently absurd how much sushi (it’s a TON) they include in their pieces/rolls. The service is always snappy, whether you’re ordering for pick up or dining in. I live in the Mission now, and I will not hesitate to drive to the outer sunset to get me some Tazaki. The N-Judah and Pink Lady specialty rolls are my go to, with the yellow tail Nigiri to boot.

Google
My favorite sushi restaurant in the Outer Sunset!!! It’s the only restaurant I’ve found in the City that puts scallops in their 49er Roll. It’s so buttery and fresh - my favorite roll! We’ve also enjoyed the Eclipse (quail egg is heaven), Uni, salmon sashimi, Cal Roll and Crazy Rolls. Tazaki is the sushi chef and shops for fresh fish Daily. The service is always quick and friendly. Highly recommend!

Food 4.75 sashimi was fresh and butterfish platter was tasty but the Inari was mediocre, Ambiance 4.75 nothing fancy but local and lively, kids like sitting on the floor on the tatami mats; Service 5 we appreciate the attention to tea refills and the servers walking on their knees to help us, they did forget to give us the complimentary edamame but made up for it by offering the entire table ice cream; the food is consistent and the go to spot for locals and for those in the know; $87; 4 people

Google
Wow, unbelievably generous portions. It's 2pm the next day and I'm still full from last night's dinner here. I ordered the Tazaki Sushi Combo - real crab California roll and 6 pieces of nigiri, chef's choice. It also came with miso soup, salad, and ice cream (chocolate or green tea). There was also complimentary edamame, which was sweet and savory and softer than al dente - I really enjoyed it. I could've shared this meal with another human of average appetite. I was already full after the California roll - look at how much crab meat is in there! But I took my time and ate the sashimi sans rice. Their rice is too wet and could use a little more flavor - that's the only reason I couldn't give them 5 stars for the food. Otherwise, the fish was fresh and bountiful! I'd "see you tomorrow" if I weren't so full!

Yelp
On a Saturday night around 7pm, my party of 2 were immediately able to be seated--looks like we were able to snag the one of the last 2 tables before we would have to place our name on the waitlist. We were served complimentary edamame while looking over the menu. A majority of the entrees came with miso soup, salad, and ice cream, though none of the ramen/ udon dishes came with those sides. I do wish it was included with the ramen dishes because there was typically only a $1-$2 difference between the ramens and the rice plates (with the ramen dishes being more expensive). The sushi menu was very interesting, but we decided on the Mama Maki (eel and albacore) and the Cream Roll (scallops). The Mama Maki is definitely something that I would order again. The pork ramen was also the highlight of the dinner. The soup was extremely flavorful, but honestly the 4 thin slices of pork were dry. Everything else tasted good. They had 2 TVs playing football and music in the background with low volume, so it was very comfortable to talk and have conversation. As for parking, there is only street parking/ residential parallel parking available. The restaurant is located right in front of the 40th Ave N muni for easy access.

Yelp
Situated on a sleepy block of outer sunset, it would be easy to miss Tazaki sushi's storefront, but that would be a mistake. We came here on the strong recommendation from some more seasoned SF experts, and because we were craving sushi. For two, we ordered two rolls, an appetizer (agedashi tofu), and an udon soup. Unexpectedly, the proportions here are ginormous (6 pieces per roll but each piece was massive)! I think realistically, 2 rolls + an appetizer would be more than enough for two people. Each roll (spicy tuna and holiday maki) came with an abundance of not just fresh fish but also avocado, which makes these otherwise simple rolls all the more enjoyable. I'll definitely be making my way back here soon!

Yelp
Had the omakase tonight for my birthday celebration! Great choice! The sushi was fabulous . Highlight for me were the Santa Barbara uni, hamachi belly, seared salmon, and ameebi. All were fantastic. And big cuts. See the photos! Service was very nice and friendly and the vibe was chill and casual. Definitely a neighborhood favorite it was packed on a Thursday night and so were the damn fine pizza spot and the Mexican spot on the block. Warning, parking is rough because you have 3 destination restaurants on the same block in a residential area!! JYW recommends!

Yelp
I'm still dreaming about this meal! I haven't had sushi wow me in a minute, this was such a treat. This local mom and pop has been running since 1998- I really enjoyed the cozy ambiance and warm service. The waitress was very attentive and quick to refill our waters. I loved every bite I had this night. First of all, look at the presentation of everything and tell me you wouldn't devour everything. The sashimi was really fresh and melted in your mouth. I loved my uni spoon so much I could not get enough. We tried a variety of rolls recommended by the chef and finished every last piece! Do yourself a favor and try the butterfish :) The clam soup was also refreshing and balanced all the dishes perfectly. I can't wait to come back next time!

Yelp
The sashimi and shrimp is fresh. Friendly staff On the right of the door there's a window booth area that lets you sit on the floor, for a big group. Shoes off Look for specials on the wall Uni is delicious yum always a good treat

Yelp
A friend and I came here for some refuge following a long day on Ocean Beach when it got super chilly after sunset. It's slim pickings in this neighborhood on a Sunday evening, where everything seems to close around 9pm, if not earlier. I was a bit apprehensive at the less than 4 Yelp rating for this place but, on further examination, a lot of the lower scores were due to service issues rather than the food itself. We managed to sneak in around 8:45pm. Understandably they were getting ready to close pretty soon so service felt very hurried. We felt pressured to decide quickly so might not have made the best choices. The hamachi and toro nigiri were really good and decent portions but unfortunately the noodles we wanted to help warm us up weren't great. I had the yakisoba (should probably have gone with the yakiudon) and my friend had (I think) the nabeyaki (combination) soup udon - most of which she didn't eat and we put in a to go container and left on the street for someone to take. The place was operated by Asian people (not sure if actually Japanese or not) but there were some southern drawl, vaguely redneck type white guys in sports (I think SF Giants) attire who seemed somehow involved. They seemed like part owners or investors or something, definitely a bit of a weird vibe. It's hard to judge a place on its service when it's about to close so I'm overlooking that but the food was a bit of a mixed bag. Unlikely I'll be in this neighborhood in dire need of food and warmth on a Sunday evening again but, if I ever did go back, the sushi would be the thing to go for. I'd skip the noodles completely. Probably a 3.5 overall.

Yelp
Not photographed were the 3 nigiri we ordered- hamachi, Tobago & Tobiko. Its been a long time since I have been truly impressed by a new spot. We happened upon this place while out and about. Everything was delicious! The rolls were very generously filled and large. The fish was excellent - hamachi was legit like butter soft and just fresh and delicious. This place had great food at an extremely reasonable price (our bill was $93 for 3 rolls, 2 edamame, a miso soup, 3 nigiri and 3 drinks including one alcoholic one) please note if you can't handle spice- maybe don't order things with jalapenos or Sriracha because they do not skimp on the spice- truly perfect (but I like brown people level of spice) cannot rave enough. Service was fast, kind and efficient we went on a Saturday night and the place got full really quickly.. definitely chill ambiance - sorta hole in the wall huge mix of people. Mostly locals.

Yelp
I was looking for a sushi place for dinner and a Yelp search brought me to this place. I picked it based on reviews. It's hard to find parking around this area, but there were quite a few people who did take out and just double parked real quick. I can see why because this place did not disappoint! The interior is more spacious than I thought it would be. This place would be great for groups and family dinners. The murals are very SF themed and I loved looking at them. The staff here are very nice and polite. The food came out promptly. The portion sizes were generous. For the price, it was really good and worth it. The combo had BBQ short ribs and they were tender and flavorful. The salmon sashimi were thick and melt in your mouth. The salad was fresh and had just the right amount of dressing. The vegetable tempura had a great variety and each one was fried to perfection. The combo also came with miso soup and the choice of green tea or chocolate ice cream for dessert. The Totoro maki was very fatty toro. This restaurant did not skimp. The pine nuts gave it an interesting texture. The Philadelphia roll had a good amount of cream cheese and the avocado added to the creaminess. Cherry blossom was probably my favorite in terms of just being a good roll. I would love to come here again. I am glad I found it. Unfortunately it may be overshadowed by the restaurants right next door, but please give this place some love and you will not regret it!

Yelp
The service is so rude, but the food is delicious so I'll stick to ordering to-go. Make sure to not show up an hour within closing or you'll be made feel like an inconvenience to be there.

Yelp
One of my favorite neighborhood spots! Owner is the best. Used to come in all the time solo to treat myself to sushi. Haven't been here in about a year but he still remembered me! Came over to ask how come I haven't been in and poured up a new drink for my friend and I to try. We ordered two rounds of nigiri and each piece was as delectable as the next. So fresh and the size of their nigiri is perfection. Definitely stop by if you're craving sushi in the outer sunset!

Yelp
I come here after a long day of work since it's just a few blocks from my house. I typically get the donburi and maybe a California roll. The donburi is always solid and satisfying. Nothing fancy and a decent price. Staff is friendly and food comes out relatively quickly depending on how busy they are. Will have to come dine in sometime!

Yelp

Yelp
Our party of 13 made reservations the same night. Everyone commented on how good the food was. It was decent before but much better now. Must be a different cook and better menu because everything tasted so good. We enjoyed the combination bento boxes, chirashi bowl, California roll (made with real crab inside and not imitation!), and ramen. I feel lucky this is just a short walk away from us. The bento combination boxes for less than $25 each were worth it because they same with so much-- 3 items, salad, miso, and ice cream (the green tea ice cream is really good!) No need to hassle with finding parking on a Saturday night in San Francisco! I will be back.

Yelp
Overall, food was mid but the restaurant was extremely hectic and chaotic. It took very long for our order to be taken & once we did, one of our items was delivered to the wrong table. Because we were in a rush, we asked them to remove it from the bill & cancel the item. After eating the rest of the food, we asked for the check and they asked us about the item we thought was cancelled because "it was in progress". To improve the experience, it would make sense to have one waiter/waitress assigned to a table rather than whatever system they have going now. Excluding the cancelled item, ordered a hamachi don & 2 rolls. The hamachi don was good but the rolls caused our friends to have food poisoning 20mins after. Thinking the tuna was not fresh.

N c.

Yelp
Snake roll had spicy tuna that tasted slightly off and left us with food poisoning. We had a scombroid poisoning reaction and were left with very unpleasant GI issues and throwing up all night. After leaving a message at the restaurant about this, we did not receive even as much as a courtesy call back. Recommend avoiding this place unless you want to spend the night in the bathroom.

Yelp
With family in town visiting and asking for sushi, I thought of Tazaki Sushi, which is just a two block walk from my house. Conveniently located along the N-Judah line, it's very accessible via public transportation, as well. I called ahead three weeks in advance to see if they took reservations for a party of five because I just wanted to make sure that we'd have a table for our party of five and the man who picked up the phone said they did. He took my info and we show up three weeks later. Immediately after walking in the door, I see our table with a nice "RESERVED" sign on it. So, all good there. We were all looking through the menu and thinking of each of us ordering individual items, but then we saw the Ume Sushi Combo. It serves 5-6 people and includes the following: Dragon, Spider, Catepillar, and Cherry Blossom rolls and six nigiri pieces each of Unagi (bbq eel), Sake (salmon), Hamachi (tuna), Maguro (fatty belly of tuna), Tobiko (flying fish roe), and Hirame (flounder). It's $145.99 on the menu and which would mean about $30 a person. I don't think each of could order any better for $30, so this group platter is the way to go if you like most kinds of sushi and don't like to fuss with all that individual ordering. For appetizers, we got a Large Shrimp Tempura (4 pieces of tempura shrimp, 6 pieces of tempura vegetable) and also a order of Potato Croquettes (panko-encrusted softened potato). I know this might not be helpful to say, but everything was on point and super-delicious. I can't criticize it because the flavors were exceptionally good. Here's what I would say. If you're familiar with the Sunset's other longtime popular sushi place Noriega Teriyaki House, on Noriega and 25th Ave., this Tazaki Sushi place is decidedly better--both in flavor and value. I'm not sure why we haven't been patronizing Tazaki Sushi already since we've lived just two blocks away for the past 20 years, but we will definitely be back, and soon!

Yelp
The service was so wonderful, the food unforgettable And the ice cream at the end was so good. The vibes in there were so comfy as well 5/5, 10/10 if i could

Yelp
Love ordering their sushi and sashimi platters! This is my families go to place for birthdays and celebrations. Always delicious and so filling!

Yelp
Still my FAVORITE place in the city for sushi. The fish is SO fresh. The 49er roll has scallops - you can't get this anywhere else. The service is always friendly and prompt. It's not the fanciest place but that means it's more affordable than other places. What matters isn't the ambiance but the quality of the fish, and you will get that every time!

Yelp
Update in 2023. Uhh yah, this place is still scrumpdiliumptious. Oh my gawd. 10/10 food. 10/10 vibes. 10/10 service.

Yelp
AMAZING CHIRASHI! Their chirashi has cuts of fresh fish and UNI? And the uni was GOOD. What a delightful serendipitous surprise. We shared the Chirashi and the salmon-scallop roll (it was only two pieces but the pieces were huge and really tasty!). Chirashi at $29 with uni is probably one of the best deals at a sushi place. They also gave us some matcha ice cream on the house for dessert. This place is so generous, much love for Tazaki Sushi.

Yelp
A really wonderful no-frills sushi spot! We wanted takeout sushi and randomly found this place on Yelp. Our order was taken quickly and the staff let us sit at a table and even gave us tea while we waited, which was so thoughtful. The actual sushi was great - the sashimi cuts were generous and very fresh (loved the variety included) and the roll did not skimp on fish either. Miso soup, edamame, and rice were also included which I didn't expect but very much appreciated!
google avatar

Yelp
Have always traveled through this area but never stopped so this was the first time I have ventured in. Lots of different options--not just sushi. Price is pretty reasonable for a Japanese restaurant. The space inside is a little small and you can definitely hear conversations from your neighbors so if you're looking for privacy (or a semblance of privacy) this might not be the place for you. Service was pretty quick. They were quick to refill tea when it was running low and the food came out fast after ordering.

Yelp
Amazing sushi restaurant! I came here on a weekday for dinner right when they opened and we were seated immediately. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were all very nice and friendly. When we were ordering, we were about to order the Donburi with shrimp tempura which came with 2 pieces of shrimp tempura, but the waiter actually recommended us to get the shrimp and vegetable tempura entree instead which was $2 more but with 3 pieces of shrimp tempura and 4-5 pieces of vegetable tempura. I was very appreciative for the suggestion since we were getting more tempura in our meal! Along with the tempura, we ordered the caterpillar roll, alaska maki, Philadelphia roll, and spider roll. We also ordered the Tazaki combo which comes with 3 sides, and we got tonkatsu, BBQ short ribs, and deep fried scallop. The rolls were all so delicious and pretty big, and each dish came with 6 rolls. My favorites were the Alaska maki (salmon roll) and the caterpillar roll! The Tazaki combo was a great choice to split among 3 people. My favorite side was the tonkatsu which included large thick pieces and had the perfect texture! The BBQ short ribs were very tasty but had more fat on each piece than I would have wanted. The dried scallops also came with large pieces and were very good as well! To end the meal, we ordered green tea ice cream which was probably one of the BEST green tea ice creams I have ever had, so I highly recommend getting their ice creams which comes with the Tazaki combo! Overall, 10/10 recommend and would definitely come back for some great sushi and great service! :)

Yelp
Unless you're a regular they acknowledge, don't bother putting your name down on the wait list. My party (5) was next on the list, and we got completely cut off by another group (6) that walked in after us. I know we were cut off in line because the sushi chef and John (I'm assuming he's one of the waiters) began to apologize when I inquired about the order of the wait list. So rather than asking the recently seated party to join the wait list, they immediately started moving another party of two to a smaller table to accommodate us to rectify their mistake. Not fair to us or the party that was inconvenienced. We ended up waiting 50+ mins for our food bc we were seated behind said party. Only reason why we stayed is because my mom really wanted to eat here. I reluctantly ordered their tenzaru soba, which is essentially cold buckwheat noodles with dipping sauce and tempura - that was a mistake. This order normally comes with two sauces, a warm dipping sauce for the tempura and a cold dipping sauce for the soba with optional chives, wasabi, and mushed daikon. For my order I got one cold dipping sauce (for everything?) which honestly just tasted like cold tempura dipping sauce... Definitely one of the worst examples of could tenzaru soba I've had in a while. I get that it was a busier night for them, but it was strike one, two, and three for them when we were blatantly ignored 7 times by all the waitresses inside. How do you make eye contact with us (a corner table) and still pretend you didn't see us? We just wanted soy sauce and the check... I sincerely dislike leaving poor reviews especially for small businesses, but this time you guys really earned your rating Tazaki - zero starts if I could.

Yelp
Came on a Wednesday night and there was no wait. We ordered some nigiris as well as a couple of rolls. The fish on the nigiris were thick! Probably one of the thickest cuts I've ever had. A good low key place for dinner if your in the sunset area. Overall good experience.

Yelp
We've been going to tazaki sushi for 20+ years. The sushi has always been fresh and reasonable priced for the neighborhood. Our favorites are the sashimi platter, creamy roll (spicy scallop roll fried) and mirugai nigiri. It's great place for casual date night or take out. It has not been remodeled the last 10 years; but still looks fine and generally clean. The owner usually hires college kids to help waitress and all are friendly. If you live in the sunset, this is a local gem.

Yelp
Came here thinking it was a mom and pop Japanese restaurant. It's Chinese owned and rude Chinese girl severing. She was very short. Food was not very good. Had hamachi kama it was deep fried and put under a broiler. It was served with a vinegary soy sauce. Awful! Ordered a spicy scallop hand roll... the spicy component was sriracha drizzled on top. Tazaki sushi was very disappointing!

Yelp
Food: I ordered the Lion King roll, California roll, Clam miso soup, and Edamame. They did a decent job at the Lion King roll, it was one of the better ones I've had, loved the sauce which was rich and tangy. The California roll tasted very fresh and good as well. The clam miso was a little underwhelming. I was expecting it to taste different but it was literally miso soup with a few clams in it. I would not reorder the miso but everything else was good. Edamame is pretty much the same everywhere you go lol. Service: It was efficient and easy to get their attention! Ambiance: It was clean and well lit. Decently sized and not too busy. I would come back if I was craving sushi / Japanese food.

Excellent sushi Very fresh fish . Tazaki San really cranks out some top grade excellent sushi . Waiter John is always nice friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Yelp
For an early Mother's Day dinner, we ordered from here! We had tried this one time before covid and really liked it! We got beef teriyaki, tempura, black cod sizzling plate, Walu sizzling plate, and a few sushi rolls! The beef teriyaki was surprisingly very tender. Since we did take out, the tempura got a little soggy, but nothing a few minutes of air frying can't do to fix it! The sizziling plates were my favorite. It comes with the fish, rice and some veggies. The fish was so buttery, highly recommended! Now on to the sushi rolls- we got the Romeo and Juliette, N-judah, crazy maki -- all the rolls are really good, you can't go wrong!

Yelp
Unbelievable wait for our food. It took 1.5 hours to get all of our food and it's only after I have requested to cancel the rest of the order that our food came. There were only four serving tables in the entire resturant with our table being the largest with a party of 7. This is the second time we've been here and the first time was good. This time, it was just ridiculous! It's also the last time.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to eat. I'm glad it didn't shut down with COVID! Their chicken karaage is so moist and tasty. Portions are amazing and the more service is so nice!

Yelp
I was very excited to check out Tazaki but unfortunately didn't enjoy my food that much. I really liked the interior - clean, cool murals, beautiful Japanese architectural details. It was nice just sitting in there. I got the bento box, which is a pretty good deal coming with 3 food items plus miso soup, ice cream, rice, greens. But sadly I didn't like any of the food items. The chicken katsu was too oily and fried, making my stomach hurt. The grilled mackerel was very salty. The California roll was the only sushi option and wasn't that tasty. The ice cream was clearly from some packaged box and the flavor tasted very artificial. So, the miso soup was the only part of my meal I enjoyed. I think I want to come back and give their actual sushi a try.

Yelp
I have ordered sushi from Tazaki sushi many times. Their sushi is one of the best I've tried. They're also very nice and service is always good.

Yelp
Didn't realize such a good Japanese restaurant existed in the neighborhood. Owner said they've been at same location for 28 years. The food was excellent and the service attentive. Everything we ordered was fresh and well prepared - sushi, udon, sizzling scallop plate and tempura. We enjoy Japanese cuisine and have tried most Bay Area places from Ebisu in SF to Sushi House in Alameda to Tomokazu in Burlingame. I would argue the food here is just as good as those very popular Bay Area restaurants.

Yelp
Pretty good sushi! Might make this a frequent spot. Also like this place because it's one of the few sushi restaurants that also has katsu curry, which is hubby's go to (he doesn't eat sushi).

Yelp
This is not your ordinary neighborhood sushi joint. Tazaki has some of the best fish in the city - they're always overnighting new fish in from Tokyo - every time I visit there's new fish, and seasonal delights, to try. And almost as good as their fish are their prices and hospitality. Friendly staff and a chef who knows his craft well. Get a fantastic omakase that won't break the bank. Now that New Oyaji (similar fish selection and price point) on Clement is gone, this is my new go to.

Yelp
Our favorite sushi spot. My wife gets the spicy salmon don buri, not on the menu but delicious none-the-less. She requested tazaki for her birthday this year. My daughter who is a college student requests whenever home from college. Great sushi and one of her classmates works here as well.

Yelp
I have been coming to this place for a while, although Covid lock-down put a damper on the frequency since I am not in the city as often. Let me start off by saying that I don't care too much about super fancy rolls with lots of sauce and pizzazz, so if you are into that, you should read the other reviews. However, if you are more of a basics person and really appreciate the quality of the fish, you should definitely give this place a try. I often buy sashimi-quality fish and make my own sushi/sashimi. However, this place can definitely compete with my home cooking on quality, taste and price. The sashimi combo in particular is to die for - the ingredients are fresh and high quality and Mr. Tazaki cuts the sashimi pieces as if he were fixing the meal for himself (substantial is what I am saying). The miso soup was the best I remember in a long while and the salad was tasty and fresh. In addition to the sashimi combo, my favorites are saba, tai, and ika nigiri (if you still have space left). Service-wise, servers are friendly and someone checked on us every 5-10 minutes or so. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Mixed feelings. Did a pick up order before closing time. Got two rolls, spicy tuna & Romeo & Juliet and two nigiris, amaebi & uni. Nigiri was great! Really fresh. The rolls were good too, looked nice & fresh. However I started to notice the spicy tuna fish was but mushy, not like chopped up mushy, but the old left out kinda slick pasty mushy. Also on my Romeo Juliet roll one of the fishes had a slight spoiled taste to it as well. I'm going to assume it was because it was the end of the day, so I'd be willing to try this place once more.

Yelp
Pretty nice ambiance and friendly waiting people. The owner also came out and asked if everything was good. It was. We ordered bento boxes which you can make various selections. Looks like the locals frequent this establishment which is a good sign. What I liked also, was it was a pretty good value in the city. Unlike breakfast in the general vicinity, I thought I bought the building there, when I was presented with that bill.

Yelp
Very good quality and fresh fish; tried special 18pc sudoku box. $50. Can't remember each item but freshly flown in from Japan and worth it. Recommend for high quality sushi / sashimi, will be back

Yelp
Our go-to in the Outer Sunset - it's an easy walk, food is consistently good, service is great. Definitely a great local family-friendly spot that draws a lot of locals. Place is small and can get busy but we've usually been able to get in if we plan ahead and get there before peak hour (which is 7-8 pm in our experience). Menu is extensive and Our 6 yo daughter loves it too. Definitely recommend!
