Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe - The Gulch

Lunch orders were taking 20-30 minutes. Naturally, a large group of customers amassed under the “pick up here” sign while they waited for their orders. The manager decided to yell and curse at the customers to back up and get out of the way. Food is good but I’m in no rush to go back after seeing how management treats their customers. Working in a restaurant is a stressful job, but it’s never okay to take it out on the customer for no reason.

Reasonably priced Greek restaurant located in the gulch. Food was good and you just need to order your food upfront and they’ll bring you your order to your table. They’ll also clean up the dishes afterwards too. They have the nice ice too which they advertise on their drink machine lol no line or wait.

Taziki’s is one of my favorite chain restaurants, and Greek food! They’re consistent and fresh. I’ve done takeout, dine in and event catering with them over the years, and they do a great job. Their salads, salmon, and roast potatoes are some of my faves. Also a great chocolate chip cookie!

Very good Mediterranean food. The preparation is very correct and all the ingredients are fresh and of the day. The way to order is at the counter and the food is brought to the table, in general it is not very busy and there is a table immediately. The employees are very friendly and are always ready to answer any questions. The place is very clean and the prices are very affordable

I would highly recommend checking out this restaurant in one of the hip areas of Nashville. The meats here are high quality and cooked to perfection. The salads are fresh and appetizing. Do not skip out on an appetizer, particularly the pita and tzatziki dip. I cannot wait to frequent this establishment again.

I had no intentions of eating lunch here. I was set to eat lunch at Milk and Honey a few doors down, but for some reason, they were closed. As I passed by, I saw a pic of a lamb burger, but I kept walking. It was on my next trip by the picture that I decided to give it a try. I greeted the cashier and asked how she was doing and she stated "not good". I was a bit taken back but appreciated her honesty. We all have those days. I said something funny and she in instantly perked up. I asked her about the lamb burger and she said it was amazing. I was nervous about it, but I opted for it instead of the Greek salad. My friend got the salad and he said it was great. If you eat lamb, then you'd love this burger. I don't have a Taziki restaurant in my area so I'll have to try and recreate it at home. I'm, for sure., I'll be back when I come back to the area.

Would leave negative stars if I could. My fiancé and I got food poisoning from this location 3 days before our wedding. Dirty, dirty place would not recommend consuming anything from here!

Orders to go food and it was good! Has the lemon chicken soup and just get the soup is all I have to say! I also got the chicken kabob with rice. The chicken was tender not over cooked the taziki was good can tell fresh made. The Greek dressing for the salad was pretty tasty as well. I would return again for sure!

The staff is always very friendly and efficient. The food is consistent in it's quality and the atmosphere is relaxed and low key here.

Hendersonville Taziki's: Menu says a Greek salad was $8 and add salmon for $5. That is $13. The lady charged me $18 and when confronted completely dismissed me and would not budge.

Stopped here looking for a quick and satisfying meal. The food was pretty much inedible and no one in our party came close to finishing because we couldn't stomach it. Left feeling hungry and disappointed. Do not recommend and would not go back.

Placed a Togo order from this place for lunch and it was terrible. My salmon was overcooked and the rice was undercooked. Food was mislabeled. The box said Veg Gyro and it was chicken. They left off my baklava cheesecake and roasted potato side. Maybe they were too busy and someone wasn't paying attention. I don't know. I will not be ordering from here again.

Always love a fast food cultured meal. One of my ultimate favorites is the lemon chicken soup!

The employees were very friendly. Wanted something on the healthier side, quick and inexpensive. This place was great for that. Food was hot, delicious and inexpensive. Fast service. More like a cafe style than dinning. Are here with my mom and she also enjoyed the chicken kabobs. Will be back :)

Taziki's saves me every time! From everything to last minute catering to when I don't feel like cooking, they come through. No joke, I cater a lot of lunches and they have done 30+ people lunches same day...So grateful for them!

Had to switch my 4 star review to a 2 bc of the attitude problem with the employees at this location. I came in at 7:30 pm when they close at 8:00 pm and the girl who took my order was so rude and was definitely not trying to help. I tried to place my order online at 7:15 pm but it would only let me pre order for the following day. She said they were out of rice so I asked what the other sides were. She pointed to the menu and where she pointed to it said I could do an extra chicken Kebob so I asked for extra chicken. She said that's not possible and to look at the sides which I was looking right where she pointed. I wouldn't even waste my time coming in here. I will not be back after this type of service

I love this place. I visit Nashville monthly for work. You better believe I stop in every time. The lamb gyro with basmati rice is amazing. I have tried every appetizer and enjoyed them all. Except for lemon chicken soup, it was not bad, just not my taste. I've been getting the baklava cheesecake lately it is great. I can't speak much on the service I always get delivery or pick up. My brief interactions have never been negative. As for ambiance, the restraunt has always been clean and inviting.

The food here is spectacular for a small place like this! Taziki's never disappoints with its quick service, great food, and good atmosphere. Any fan of Greek cuisine shouldn't miss this restaurant. I recommend their gyros, they are wonderful, and their rice CANNOT be missed. Truly a wonderful and affordable place.

We ordered catering for a work lunch from this place- and it definitely left us with happy, full bellies! we ordered the Mediterranean salad, grilled chicken, rice, toasted pita chips (with zataar flavoring??), and taziki sauces. we had a pretty simple menu but everything was fresh and flavorful. would order from them again or visit for dinner one night.

I've eaten taken out from Tazikis twice this week for group events and each meal has been really solid! I've really enjoyed their salad and grilled chicken in particular. Each meal has been wrapped solidly to prevent spillage and has arrived warm. Definitely a solid place to get large portions for a large group.

So yummy and great! The lemon chicken basil soup always warms me up on a cold fall night!! Every location does great!

Don't even bother ordering take out. Last night stopped by to get a couple of salads. Ordered, waited a ridiculously long time only to get home to find I had one salad and another tray with fruit, chicken and rice. Second time order has been screwed up. Worst part... you tip before you get your order. So basically I tipped them for terrible service.

One of my go-tos for a quick lunch or when feeding a large group. It's affordable, a crowd favorite and they have many healthy options.

Great service, friendly and quick. The restaurant was clean and had comfortable booths. I enjoyed the tilapia lunch with rice, salad, and topped it with their Taziki's sauce. The fish was cooked to perfection and everything was tasty. Gluten free and reasonably priced, can't ask for anything more.

During our visit at the Gulch, we decided to stopped at Taziki's for a quick bite. I have to say, the chargrilled lamb gyros was surprisingly delicious. It was well seasoned and not dry which it's a plus. The tzatziki dip wasn't like any others I have eaten before, it was surprisingly on the watery side and bland. The pita bread was good, although I wished it was warm when served. The chicken gyro was decent but not as good as the lamb in my opinion. The pasta and the tomato-cucumber salads were alright.

The food was good. It doesn't taste authentic but maybe it's not meant to. I thought it was a bit pricey for lunch and for the amount of food that we got. Not bad but won't return

Taziki's on 11th always treat customers with respect and make sure that your food is superb. Never had a bad meal or visit. They get a A+ from me!!

this is so nasty i almost ate it! i came here 5-8-2023 after work & was so disappointed to find this insect. it's the WE location. beware!

Huge disappoinment with Taziki's today. As a Senior I don't want or can't eat a huge plate of Taziki's delicious food, but I CAN and often DO eat a Childs Meal alone or with my young granddaughters. Today I took a friend that ordered a childs meal. The Manager literally POINTED at the menu showing 12 and under. He also said they would be charging for drinks for kids from now on. When I objected he said it's what "management" is now enforcing. Happily there are an awful lot of great restaurants in the area and Taziki's will be dust in my rearview mirror.

The lemon chicken soup is all that everyone raves about. A bit greasy for my taste, but delicious! Greek salad is simple and fresh. Fast, healthy, friendly staff so just go there already!

Chicken and rice were OK but the Greek salads were disgusting we came here because my wife only wanted to salad everything was brown, wilted and soggy inedible!

Counter service, but the food is incredibly fresh. The lemon rice soup was amazing. Will definitely stop here again.

How can you go wrong with quick Mediterranean? Ordered the chicken kebab entree, Comes with salad and side for which I chose rice. Really good and although I initially felt the chicken was a little small portion wise, I came away full and satisfied. Definitely recommend for reasonable healthy food.

So we ordered food for 5 and no liked it, the gyros they had just a little sauce and the chicken was dry and the Potato sides were pretty bad too

This Taziki's is trash. The people working there are incapable of getting an order right. I and other people have order to go from there and their success rate of getting the order correct is 0%. One time my entire salmon feast was missing from the order. I highly recommend you order from one of the others around town and definitely skip this one.

Not a very pleasant experience. I placed a to go order online. The food wasn't ready yet when I got there. The waitress couldn't find my order and was rude even after realizing she was wrong. The food was ok but I'd rather go somewhere else where people know how to greet customers and would apologize for their mistakes.

This is more of a fast food style place unfortunately the prices do not reflect that. Ordered 2 "gyros" and a Greek salad bill was over $30. Now had it been great, you could justify that but it was just ok. We were the only ones there except what seemed like an employee who was sitting at one table hanging out. He was later joined by another employee, kinda weird as it felt like we were being watched while we ate. The salad was ok, ingredients were fresh but not much Greek flavor, not bad though. The gyros were another story. I was asked what kind of meat I wanted I said lamb, not sure if they have traditional gyro meat, but mine ended up having more like lamb chunks. The meat was good though. The "gyro" is small though, more like a burrito or something. Apart from the meat it didn't have much else. It had a sauce but it wasn't like traditional taziki sauce. It wasn't bad, but it didn't hit that gyro spot. Overall food was ok, pricey for being fast food style and for what you get.

Our last day in Nashville and we were killing a couple of hours so decided to visit the Gulch area. Stopped in for a mid afternoon late lunch/early dinner based on Yelp reviews. We were one of the few diners in the restaurant throughout our time there tho several people came in for takeout. We were immediately greeted by a friendly gentleman Who was sweeping the restaurant area. He asked if we've ever been there before and we said "no" so he proceeded to explain the process to us: review the menu, order at the counter, take a seat and they'll bring the food to your table. I decided to order the shrimp feast, one friend ordered chicken over the Greek salad and the other, lamb over Caesar. We also shared the tzatziki with soft pita wedges and my two friends also ordered the lemon chicken rice soup. The tzatziki and soups were served first. Warm pita wedges were fresh and great, tzatziki ok, I've had better/tastier. My friends did enjoy their soups and commented the lemon was very present. One Friend was surprised by they type of rice that was in her soup which appeared to be basmati rice. Our entrees arrived shortly. I very much enjoyed my shrimp feast which included a green salad, rice (or roasted potatoes and I chose rice) and a fair portion of shrimp, the friend with the chicken over Greek said she as happy and the friend with the lamb would have preferred the lamb a little more rare but said it was tender. Not knowing much about this restaurant, it appears to be possibly a franchise or chain and I thought it was good but not the best I've had. My bill was around $22 which included a $2 tip, a bottled water and the tzatziki starter. Not bad but also not fast food pricing. Service was very friendly and helpful!

i was not too thrilled here.. i got the veggie gyro which was good but it was just simple and easily makable at home. my boyfriend who is Greek got the grilled lamb and hated every second of it.. there were three half inch cuts of lamb that were dry and not worth it. the rice itself was overall dry dry and DRY! the potatoes weren't bad but came with a small portion. the tzaziki was good but had little spice to it.

TLDR: really good food for great prices. Damn, that lamb gyro was way better than I expected especially for its price. Not overly salty and incredibly tender it was absolutely delicious. Give this place a try for some good Greek food at a great price.

The foods pretty good but the service is absolutely atrocious! The girls working lunch rush are constantly making mistakes and don't acknowledge or address anyone. "Your foods probably next" and really don't seem to care. Delivery time has never been correct and neither is the food. I'm here now and our food is 20 mins late and another lunch hour wasted. I hope they allocate current staff somewhere else and figure out efficiency and order accuracy some day. It used to be great. I don't know what happen. Yummy food, quick service, and modern atmosphere. Taziki's is located in the busy gulch area and yet they've found a way to not be overly crowded and keep the line moving. I had the grilled veggie plate and, I don't know what seasoning they use, but my life has been changed for the better. The red peppers and asparagus were mouth-watering. I'll be back. A lot.

Service was awesome here! Same dude who took our order also served the food and took our trash once we were done. They seem to get regulars here too as the staff was overly friendly with certain customers. It was around 1:30 when I came with my family and it wasn't even packed at all. I saw two or three other groups here finishing their lunches. My dad and I both got the chicken gyro. I got fruit as a side while he got basmati rice. It was good but could've been more flavorful. I've had better. My mom and sister got the lamb gyro with basmati rice. My sister thought it was just okay and that the rice had too much lemon. My older sister got the mezedes platter which came with hummus, tzaziki sauce, pita, and grape leaves with rice in it. The grape leaves weren't wrapped well. She said it was just okay. It was clean though! And service was a selling point.

Fresh, well presented and prepared food in all categories. One of the best values in Richmond area.

I ordered dinner via uber from here. My salmon was over cooked and dry, my salad on all three meals was old lettuce with brown edges at the cut points and the asparagus was over cooked, yellow and wilted. What a waste on 61 dollars and a 20 percent tip. So pissed. Still hungry as most of it was not edible!! Don't waste your money. This is why I hate uber (nothing against the driver) because the food you order delivered is never the same quality as if you are in their face eating in.

This place is a great option for lunch. Many of the surrounding restaurants are popular, and thus are very busy. If you don't have the time to wait, check this place out. No line, great wraps, and tasty sides.

Pesto chicken gyro was incredible. Fantastic chicken and plenty of it. Thick cut instead of the normal thin sliced style. I couldn't get this into my face fast enough. After what seemed like a few short moments I was shocked to find I had taken the last bite. Quickly moved on to the cucumber salad side, which was also fantastic. Great combo with onions, basil, tomatoes, and of course more feta. I also got a rice side, which was good, but I should have gotten more cucumber. The pimento cheese is also a good choice. Great consistency and flavor and the Tabasco is a nice touch. I'm not big on Tabasco, but the flavor combo was perfect. Pita chips had some kind of seasoning on them that was excellent and the pita bread was good too. We will definitely be ordering from this place again DoorDash delivery to convention center

I was having a serious hunger pang while waiting for my family to arrive in Nashville, and so I wandered over to Taziki's for some lunch. It was delicious. I had the grilled veggie pita, and ordered a side of hummus and whipped feta. It was delicious, affordable, and fast. The staff were super friendly, and the kitchen looked impeccable.

Very disappointing. I've been in the Morgantown Suncrest location on several occasions. The food was always very good. Upon delivery this evening the pita chips were very dark, dry, brittle and cracked up. The greek salad was skimpy on the feta. I have recommended Tazikis to many people. Now I'm concerned they may have less than positive experiences.

We ordered tonight and had the food delivered to the hotel! It was a lazy night It was amazing delicious food! It came quickly and was hot! We ordered the chicken lemon soup, delicious flavor.!then we ordered the salad, the chicken rolls, the hummus and pita, cooked vegetables! ALL of it was very good! Loved all the flavors and freshness! Can't wait to go back before we leave town! You will not be disappointed!

We decided to stop here because we are big fans of gyros. The food was super yummy. I got a grilled lamb gyro and my husband got the basil pesto chicken gyro. They were both very good and would highly recommend. The lady who took our order was slightly rude and took joking a little too far with my husband. We are all for a good joke but hers was a little uncalled for. We would definitely visit again because the food was good.

I was expecting meat off the spiti or at least something that tastes like a gyro but of course got scammed with just chunks of chicken with no flavor! ‍ I don't understand when owners invest in everything and take food for just granted coz of course the bar is set so low in general. only thing that's close to authentic Mediterranean food is the restaurant name. It's a shame coz this could've been my go to spot since I am a huge gyro fan! but the food was way off.

I really wanted to try this place. But the chicken was so dry I couldn't eat it, not to mention the portion was very small. The salad and rice was decent. Way overpriced for 17 dollars with a coke.

Food was good. Kebabs kinda small but flavorful. Lamb gyros wasn't impressive, but salmon and chicken kebabs - super! Postmates driver brought only half of our order, so they were prompt to remake it and delivered themselves within minutes.
