Eater’s Guide to Eating and Drinking, SF Pride 2018 | Eater SF

"For two full days Civic Center is given over to Pride festivities; I note that the weekend's marching schedule begins Friday with the Trans March, continues with Saturday’s Dyke March, and culminates in the hours-long, corporate-contingent-heavy SF Pride Parade on Sunday." - Eater Staff

Went for a Bulldogs game (first time at this arena) and had a blast! The facility was easy to navigate and had a good selection of snacks and drinks. Our seats had a good view and loved the music and fun during intermissions/stopped play. All the staff were friendly and the crowd was lively. Definitely a fun night out with friends or family. Highly recommend going if you’re a hockey or sports fan or looking for a fun evening out.

I think the arena has a nice set up with good locatios for purchasing drinks. The Bulldogs had a great atmosphere as well. I was a bit disappointed that my children were not allowed to bring in water.

The TD Civic Centre in Brantford is a classic mid‑sized arena with a lot of history. It’s home to the Brantford Bulldogs (OHL) and hosts community events, so the atmosphere during games can be electric. Renovations have improved seating and accessibility, which is a big plus. On the downside, the building still feels dated in spots, and parking around downtown Brantford can be a hassle on busy nights. Concessions are decent but nothing special.

Good for an OHL rink. Concessions could be better with more food options. Staff is friendly. Space around the rink, foyer, shops etc. is small, so can be very congested and hard to get through.

It was entrusting by going to a OHL Game for the First Time in my Life (Funny Story: I almost yelled "Let's Go Hitmen" because I'm from Calgary, Alberta, Canada and our CHL Team in the WHL is the Calgary Hitmen) I was on a Trip to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada for the 110th Grey Cup and this was my First Time Visiting Ontario locations. These photos was on November 15th 2023

We had a great time at the circus. It was a fun, family event but VERY expensive. After paying for the tickets, it cost us an additional $100+ for face painting, horseback riding, buying a balloon and going down a bouncy slide for 2 kids. I was just not prepared to spend so much at the circus. But, the kids were very happy AND there were no animals involved in the circus, other than horseback riding. Only a mechanical Dumbo! It was more about acrobatics and bike tricks etc. No more animals being mistreated! In all, we had a great time at the Civic Centre. I can't wait to take the grandkids to see some hockey games there. And there's lots of free parking!

What a great time at the ribfest held in the Civic Centre parking lot. Live music, great tasting ribs and other food vendors on site. Definitely will come back next year.
