Capacity Caps Will Be Removed for Massachusetts Restaurants on March 1st | Eater Boston

"Currently closed, this arena will be eligible to reopen at 12 percent of its typical capacity on March 22 if public health data continues to improve under the state's Phase 4, Step 1 plan; state guidance also underscores that most workers who staff arenas and similar large venues have not yet become eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine." - Terrence Doyle

Google
Great venue. Clean, easy access to seats, bathrooms, concessions, etc. Seats are fairly comfortable. My biggest issue is concession prices. They just don't make any sense. They charged my wife $40 for a cup of wine?! If they're actually trying to make money off concessions this is a giant fail. Most people will simply drink or eat before or after coming to the event. A giant missed opportunity by the venue unless it's a safety issue in which case it makes sense. Make alcohol prices so astronomical that very few people will be purchasing enough to become inebriated.

Google
Boston Celtics game here was electrifying. Power of the home crowd. Cheers were loud and the crowd was fantastic. TD Garden looks beautiful from the outside and from the inside as well. The arena also offers great connectivity with the train service directly connected. It is a nice place for sports matches, and also for concerts. Overall, a fun time at TD Garden watching the Boston Celtics, although they lost to the Nets on this day.

Google
TD Garden is a really cool stadium with an awesome atmosphere. There are tons of places to eat nearby, so it’s super easy to grab food or drinks before or after a game. One of the craziest things about TD Garden is how they convert the arena from basketball to hockey it’s wild that the Celtics and Bruins share the same space, and the switch happens so fast you’d never even know. Overall, a great venue with great energy and a perfect location in Boston.

Google
TD Garden or what I call it The Dazzling Garden is undoubtedly one of the best places where you get to feel all the emotions known to mankind at one place be it calm, sorrow, joy, agitated, chaotic or thrill. This place serves you the unforgettable memories for life. I feel fortunate to witness, John Cena for the last time performing in the ring for his home crowd of Massachusetts and the night is painted in my head like a sticky note. The experience of witnessing him at TD Garden, amplified the experience by two folds. Just a suggestion for the authorities - I felt a bit dizzy when sitting close to the balcony. If it's feasible, perhaps a little partition or something could be put up to make sure nobody feels like they're about to fall? The best night ever at TD Garden 🎉.

Google
TD Garden is well maintained, clean and just an all around amazing experience. For me, I've been to countless Bruins games and a couple concerts and each time its been a great environment, so much fun and keeps you wanting to come back time and time again. The facility itself is always clean, from the floors, to seating areas and bathrooms. The variety of food options are vast, and there's always something for everyone. From your typical stadium type food to even some cool upscale feeling food. I will say, the pricing is a little on the high side for food amd beverage services but this is the norm in any stadium these days, so not really a negative there just the norm. The premium level (Only speaking Bruins Games here) is an experience in itself. Access to the 1928 club, a full bar and restaurant on the premium level was awesome. Being able to watch the NESN broadcast live is a unique experience, and the history surrounding the level keeps your walks emtertaining. This level of seating truly feels premium. Fan engagement from the TD Garden is also very fun, and keeps the whole crowd involved. The staff (seating and food and beverage) are so helpful and kind to anyone who is attending an event and the seating staff will help you find your seat. Parking access is good, pricey but good. Keep in mind the height of your vehicle, larger vehicles should stay away from the parking garage due to height restrictions and the spots are a little on the small side. If you're in town and looking for something to do check out whats going on at the TD Garden, you'll have an absolute blast with whichever event you attend.

Google
And now for the main event, the initial reason Boston was even happening, the Shoresy Fall Classic! Shoresy, the Jims, JJ Frankie JJ, Goody, Dolo, Michaels, Sly, Ted Hitchcock (when you say it, it sounds like….IYKYK 😜), Fish, Cory, Liam and the Alumni Boston Bruins, Set the Tone!!! The crowd was cheering, the laughs and chirps were flying, Puppers, peewee hockey at intermission and then the “fights” made for an all around great and memorable time! Game Stick (drumstick) went to alumni Boston Bruin defenseman Andrew Ference 🏒 all that was missing was Big Sexy 🦜 All of the players were so kind and could tell how happy they were to be there supporting the Boston Bruins Foundation with this charity game.

Google
Great venue! Recently to watch the Bruins win 5-2 against NY Islanders. Lots of options on the concourse - a tad expensive but probably worth it for the experience. I don’t think there’s a bad seat in the house. Well worth a visit.

Google
One of the best hockey arena’s I’ve been in. The seats are very comfortable, arriving and leaving the venue was quick, easy and safe. The atmosphere was superb. Plenty of food and drinks around. The only things I would change is to make the restrooms more accessible! The lines were too long. Ticketmaster was very convenient.

Yelp
Where to Wheel Rating: 4 1/2 stars. Super wheelchair accessible! Automatic entrances. Huge elevators and large HC stalls. Plenty of accessible seating! Dave from Where to Wheel App Making the world More Accessible! Download today!

Yelp
TD Garden is a multi-purpose arena. It is located directly above the MBTA's North Station and replaced the original Boston Garden upon opening in 1995. It is the home arena for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL) and the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Besides sporting events, the TD Garden has also served as a concert venue for numerous nationally touring acts in music and comedy. It has a capacity of 19,156 for basketball, 17,850 for hockey and 20,000 for concerts. Entrance to the arena through the security checkpoint went smooth enough when I attended the Rangers vs Bruins game this past Saturday. Beer lines went quickly, and I didn't have any long lines when using the restroom (probably because my seat was right by the section portal and the restroom was just at the other end of the portal). All in all, other than the Rangers loss, a okay.

Yelp
" Legends way is an appropriate address " Big and beautiful and all the legends that play in this place . It's amazing why anybody would not want to come here . We love a good game especially if it's our home team playing on our home turf . I have no words to explain the fun I have always at this place . From eating hotdogs to drinking a nice beer while rooting our home team , just wow ! Beautiful Boston teams all of them , we love you . Side note I didn't spill any ketchup on me ! Parking is limited to garage parking and price depends on the demand . Public transportation is a heaven to avoid parking garage fees . All in all come to the Garden !

Yelp
Been to TD Garden a handful of times and it is always a pleasant experience. They have numerous signs for navigation so you don't get lost and there are staff that are there to help. My most recent TD Garden visit was in March 2024 when AEW came to Boston again and this time it was the debut of Mercedes Mone, what a show!! TD Garden is close restaurants and the train station so its easily accessible.

Yelp
We happened to be in town when the Bucks were playing the Celtics so we had to go and so glad we did! It was a great game and an awesome experience. TD Garden was really nice. There are lots of bars and restaurants right outside. Everything felt really new. Easy to find and get in. We had to show our tickets, walk through metal detectors, get any bags checked, scanned our ticket and then we were in. Staff were nice and helped us find our seats. I was impressed at how nice and new everything was. They had tons of concessions and the halls were nice and spacious. We didn't get any food but it looked good. Everything was well marked and easy to find. The atmosphere was amazing! The entertainment throughout the game and half time was very impressive as well. After the game we went out the back doors of the building and only had to wait about 10 minutes for an Lyft. It is crowded after the game but it wasn't too bad. Highly recommend going to a game here!

Yelp
I recently had the pleasure of interacting with Michael Attah from guest services, and I was incredibly impressed. Despite a very busy environment, he was exceptionally courteous, kind, and knowledgeable. My child was nervous about big crowds, and Michael took the time to explain everything in a calm and reassuring way, which really put us both at ease. He answered all of our questions thoroughly and guided us in the right direction. Michael is a true asset to your company, and I believe he deserves to be recognized for his outstanding customer service, perhaps with an Employee of the Month award. His dedication and positive attitude shine through, and he clearly has a bright future ahead of him. By taking these steps, you can help ensure that Michael Attah receives the recognition he truly deserves

Yelp
I came here to see Aventura, The arena is very nice. You'll see all the times the Celtics won up on the ceiling. The entire staff from event security and food vendors were nice. The sound was great. Nice bathrooms, very clean and well supplied with paper towels, tp, and soap. I'll definitely come back, hopefully to see the Celtics.

Yelp
The venue itself is nice, good food options and easy to navigate. Conveniently located at North Station and lots to do outside of the actual venue...many food options, clubs, etc. The only thing that was crazy to me is their strict bag policy. Unlike most venues/stadiums, they don't have the 12x12x6 rule...theirs is much smaller at 6x4x1.5. If your bag is even half an inch longer than the paper they have, they make you go rent a locker which is expensive. I get it, but like the people were rude about it. So if you come here, double check your bags or just bring a wallet/wristlet. Not worth it to pay extra.
google avatar

Yelp
This is my third time at TD Garden to watch the Celtics play. Since last season there is a new bag policy. Bags need to be within 6"x4"x1.5". While this isn't totally unreasonable, a lot of purses normally considered small are larger than this. The bag I had brought only last season was now considered unacceptable by about 0.5", and I needed to check it for $15 in a truck. I saw a lot of other women with reasonable cross body bags being stopped and told to check their bag, and there wasn't an option to allow it to be searched instead. This was also happening once people were already moving onto the stairs into the stadium and there wasn't a great way to leave that area to go to the bag check, so it was a little chaotic. I didn't buy the tickets, so perhaps something came up making the new bag policy very clear in that process, but otherwise you do need to go all the way to the policy section on TD Garden's website to find this information. Generally I find these sorts of policies sexist because women's clothing doesn't always have reasonable pockets and society essentially expects women to carry a purse, so punishing them for it feels unreasonable. Otherwise I haven't been to many other stadiums for comparison, and I assume this one is fairly typical. The seats are pretty small and close together, and the food and beverages are extremely overpriced. I had a pretzel that was too salty. One of my friends enjoyed the hotdogs though. We did all enjoy the Celtics, although I left with about 2 min on the clock to pick up my bag before the line got too long.

Yelp
Here for the Celtics vs Raptors game. Great space in great shape! The walkways are large with tons of stuff to look at on the walls. Lots of concession stands beautiful stadium and they run a great game. Star is organized and friendly. They do whatever is needed for fans to enjoy themselves. Our usher to our picture for us. Really glad to have your opportunity to visit this great area.
google avatar

Yelp
READ THE BAG POLICY. YES I KNOW .... Because if you don't prepare to walk and find the lockers () you will figure this part out when you see the lockers station. to store the bag because taking it back out to your car like they suggest isn't the best And this alone will take time Now that we got that done. There's lots of food selection the seats are a bit tight and no cup holders, I've had seats in the different lodge section and the seats seem the same tight, I've encountered a few helpful staff and then a few not so helpful. But overall great experience, foods a bit pricey for the quality but that's to be expected in arenas and stadiums.

Yelp
It's TD Garden - pretty great and has a lot in the way of location, convenience, and amenities. You can take the T/subway here, uber/lyft/taxi, or walk. They also have a parking garage, but I like to favour simplicity and save money. There are a good amount of restaurants and quick eating options and Star Market is also here if you just want snacks before or after the game. We came for the 4 Nations face-off off and it was handled pretty well with lines moving/security. The Pro shop was a little insane obviously, but the staff was really nice and helpful despite the chaos. The prices are pretty comparable to other sports arenas/stadiums for prices and drinks and the staff there was also nice. My gripe was that the pretzel that I got was already lukewarm and kind of tasted stale-ish so didn't love that. I would maybe go for a hot dog or pick a different option because people were absolutely housing those things! I would agree with quite a few other reviewers of TD Garden and say that a clear bag policy or something slightly bigger would be good because I have a bumbag/fanny pack that doesn't even meet their measurement standards and it's not massive by any means. I had to wear my leggings with my jersey so that I would have pockets for just my ID/debit card and lip balm tube, but let's say you need your keys, a tampon, medication, tissue, whatever else - you're kind of out of luck unless you change containers or consolidate to fit. Women may not have actual functional pockets in our clothing, but we do have deep pockets to spend money so I feel like changing that policy just a bit (clear bags/small crossbody bags) to allow more women to want to come to games/events would be a solid move.

Yelp
Good views but tiny seats I'll be honest, I like the Garden. I work at Gillette Stadium and I have to say, the whole experience is just better here. The food options are far superior, the views are good almost anywhere, and the place is maintenanced pretty well. Gotta get that over foot long slice of pizza. Go Bruins! Thanks

Yelp
I went here for the 11:11 Chris Brown concert. This wasn't the 1st time I've been here. W/ the employees it was a hot or miss. Some were rude & some really nice. This arena is huge. Unfortunately, if you sit in the floor seats you have to walk almost all the way to the top to exit out. There is no exit on the floor which sucks. Drinks & food are overpriced so I recommend eating before going.
google avatar

Abhishek B.

Yelp
We were in town for the Hans Zimmer concert on a Monday night. Pros: - Incredible atmosphere / acoustics / ambience - Lots of parking options near and below the arena Cons: - Expensive parking ($60) -- plan in advance - Food runs out in the Draft Picks section so might need to head upstairs - Chore to get out of the parking lot after the concert
google avatar

Frankie C.

Yelp
Don't even allow bags if you're going to discriminate against women. Pitiful to only allow a small clutch 6 x 4 x 1.5 and turn away clear bags where you can see I got nothing to hide: staff is rude and incompetent. I love going here for games but the bag policy needs to change. At least allow clear bags. Please.
google avatar

Monique A.

Yelp
I've been to the Garden a few times over the years for Celtics games. The staff is always helpful, and I find the venue easy to navigate and pretty clean. My only gripe is their bag policy. I wish they would allow for a slightly larger sized bag. My mother and I showed up with small crossbody bags that were slightly over the size limit. Thank god our hotel was close so we ended up leaving our bags there. They do offer lockers (outside) to store your bags but for a fee. And it takes forever to get your bag after an event. Just be mindful of the bag policy.

Yelp
Bruins 4 vs Canucks 0 game company box Only complaint- I'd like to get out of the parking garage in less than 40 mins -
google avatar

Bea T.

Yelp
It's a typical decent auditorium where you can see both concerts and sports games. I've been here a few times and it's been as expected. I saw Andre Bocelli in loge seats, which were great and then sat in balcony seats to see the Lakers vs Celtics, which was steep, small, and narrow but you could see the entire game. I just wish they made bigger seats. Each level has food and drink typically beer and fast food with very expensive prices. Like seven dollars for a bottle of water. What's really messed up is they give a bottle of water to you without the cap.... Some bs with the law.... What law is this???
google avatar

Carly M.

Yelp
I was in town for the Boston marathon and wanted to watch the Celtics play their last regular season game. I did read online the bag requirements which were pretty standard for an NBA stadium. They did allow very small wallets and tiny handbags. I brought my crossbody bag. I heard they had lockers you can rent outside the stadium for $15. I couldn't find anything on the website about clear bags so I didn't bring one. We took an Uber from our hotel room and got dropped off right in front of the "Garden" We got there a little early so we could check out the stadium. Our seats were slightly behind the goal but high enough that we could clearly see the game. Our seats didn't have cup holders which was a little inconvenient. I feel the stadium was small enough you probably could see well from wherever you sit. I couldn't find any healthy food choices. I got ended up getting a Dasanti water and salty popcorn. Getting an Uber to take us back to the hotel was a little difficult. I guess you probably need to think that though since a lot of roads were closed or blocked. You could probably take public transit but I was trying to stay off my feet.

Yelp
Went to the Madonna concert here last week! Concert was great although we were really high up in the nose bleed section! But still enjoyed it. Lots of fans, the place was packed. Have been here many times over the years for basketball games to see the Celtics and occasionally for concerts - the last one was Bryan Adams last summer along with Joan Jett! Amazing concert that was! We usually park in a nearby garage and walk over to the garden.

Marc W.

Yelp
I ate at The Legend restaurant last week before a Celtics game. The upside is its located in the TD North Garden so it very convenient and has a nice vibe before a Celtics or Bruins game. The service is fast and friendly. The food is equivalent to a TGIF Restaurant (mediocre) and 30-40% higher in price than most of the before game joints across the street. The real DOWNSIDE is the waitress does not tell you the gratuity is already added to your check. I always check my bills in every restaurant I eat at because this seems to be the new norm when wait staff gets double gratuities. It gets by very easily to patrons who have had a few cocktails.
google avatar

Yelp
Always sit in the lodge section and your review will be five stars too. Come for the games, stay for the fans.

Yelp
Went to see the Bruins play got the practice puck to. AMAZING time, very convenient with the train station lots of places to get souvenirs and great food. All the staff I had met were wonderful and respectful. Clean bathrooms, actually the whole place was so well put together. I can't wait to come back again. HIGHLY recommend everyone go here.

Yelp
I enjoy washing sports so why not visit the TD Garden while in Boston. I love that it is so convenient getting here via North Station. There are multiple entrances into the arena and getting through security is fairly quick. They do have a clear bag policy to abide by. There are plenty choices of food and kiosks as you walk through the arena. I bought water and it's been a while since I've bought a bottle of water during a basketball game, but they do take the caps away. I used a napkin to "seal" my water bottle. I sat in the Loge section and the seats are pretty close to each other. So close you will be touching your neighbors knee. The bathrooms were clean and the line wasn't too bad during peak bathroom breaks (ie halftime).

Yelp
I have been to few NBA arenas in the country and TD garden is probably my favorite. First time there for the playoffs and Celtics didn't disappoint. The fan atmosphere was crazy and one of the best I have experienced. Highly recommend to people visiting Boston to give it a try. Let's go Celtics!!

Yelp
Kacey Musgraves at TD Garden was incredible! Her voice live is stunning, and she had the perfect mix of songs, from heartfelt ballads to upbeat hits. The visuals were beautiful, and she created a personal connection with the crowd--especially during "Rainbow" when the whole arena lit up with phone lights. TD Garden was a great venue: well-organized, with good sound quality. If you get the chance, don't miss her live. Unforgettable night!

Yelp
We bought tickets to watch the men's college basketball regional finals in Boston being held at the TD Garden. The location is nice because you can take the T subway train right into the Garden. My husband was nice enough to buy good comfy seats in section 141. The seats also came with access to the Legends lounge on the ground floor. That included 2 drinks and complimentary sliders, fries, salad, and grilled cheese. The sliders were delicious. The view from the seats was outstanding.

Yelp
The NBA was the last major US professional sport I hadn't seen in person, and that's now been crossed off the list. My top-tier chum who literally went to the school of hospitality (and is a giant Celtics fan to boot) and I wandered over to the Garden a few Sundays ago for the Warriors game. If this review were just about the quality of the game/opponent, this would have been a little rough - the Warriors were wrapping up a slog of an East Coast road trip, and it looked it. But this was a genuinely entertaining experience, which was boosted by decent seats and the ability to understand and see what was happening on the court. I was enormously impressed by the arena/surrounding area - as a direct comp, I get that MSG is a legendary place in the annals of sports, but boy is the area surrounding it and the building itself poochy. That neighborhood by Herald Square/Penn Station is one of my least favorites, and while I don't think the TD Garden neighborhood is necessarily the best one in Boston, it was pretty clean with a lot of new, spiffy restaurants. It kind of reminded me of the first time (yes, this is going to be another NYC reference) I visited Citi Field after going to my beloved blue and orange eyesore Shea Stadium for years - an unequivocal upgrade in so many ways, though Shea lives on in our hearts. It was very easy to get into the arena and ultimately our seats. I don't know if our timing was a big part of that - I wanted to get there about an hour before tip so I could see Steph Curry's warmup routine - but we were barely in line at security; I'd say it took about two or three minutes, if that. All of the employees that we encountered during this process were very friendly and professional. So were the fans, incidentally - one fellow offered to take our picture (we weren't actively seeking a photographer at the time) and it ended up being one of the better shots of the weekend. We interacted with a few other fans throughout the course of the game and immediately afterwards - everyone had potty mouths but was super nice, which to me is dictionary definition Boston. In terms of the in-game experience, it's hard to really knock anything. It was a hotly anticipated rematch of the 2022 Finals featuring at least four Hall of Famers, and it was super cool to see all of them on the court at the same time during warmups; there was an understandable buzz in the air that I'm sure you don't get when the Wizards wander into town. We had seats fairly close to the court, which allowed for a certain level of intimacy with the game that you're not going to get sitting in the upper levels. During the commercial breaks, there was usually some type of entertainment or contest to keep patrons occupied (which is pretty much the case at any arena, to be fair). My chum was approached by the event staff prior to tipoff about participating in one of the games - again, a pretty common one, where they have an animated shell game on the jumbotron and you have to confirm which shell (or in this case a Celtics hat I think) has the basketball underneath it. She won, and I am now the proud owner of a gynormous green personal injury firm t-shirt. Woo. The only damper was the poor communication about movement within the stands. You were perfectly free to get up from your seat and go up into the concession/rest room area whenever you wanted (otherwise, it would basically be prison), but if you returned during game play, the usher would prevent you from returning to your seat until there was a stoppage. Sort of makes sense (I assume it's considered a potential visual distraction to the players) but no one articulated why - in fact one usher reprimanded us from taking a picture when play recommenced earlier than anticipated - or explained the quasi-hypocrisy in allowing people free reign to leave when they wanted. If the return to the seat is a distraction, isn't the exit from the seat a distraction too? The concession offerings were pretty decent in terms of variety; we've come a long way from the 90s when you were lucky to get some cotton candy or soft-serve ice cream in a plastic baseball cap. A rare negative of the experience was the pizza I had from Sal's Pizza, which I thought actually looked pretty appetizing but which was tasteless and a waste of calories and money (I think close to $15 for a super-size slice). The two of us ended up consuming the whole thing, but only because we're animals - it had nothing to do with the quality of the food. If I could do it over again, I'd sample one of the intriguing gastropubs nearby before or after the game and not bother with the arena options. This was an awesome afternoon; I have a greener wardrobe, some very cool memories and I now know how to yell profanities in a Boston accent - it's all about the "ah" sound.

Yelp
one of the newer NBA stadiums I've been in with its advanced technology especially in the suite area. It truly feels like a luxury experience through the gates and up the elevators. However, the in stadium food provided in these suites is quite lackluster. The spread of tenders, wings, and more lacked any semblance of flavor or texture. In spite of all this the decor and ambience are unmatched in Beantown. Fans show up on time and come out roaring from tipoff. Truly a sports town and an energetic atmosphere.

Yelp
I finally crossed TD Garden off my NHL arenas list with my 2024 visit to Boston. Prior to the February 19th Bruins game against the Dallas Stars, the team had a ceremony honoring Brad Marchand's 1000th game as a Bruin (which occurred a couple days earlier on 2/13), and the Bruins capped off the night with a shootout win--and Marchand was one Boston's two goal scorers in the SO. As for the rink, much like Madison Square Garden, from the outside other than the TD Garden sign it really doesn't appear link you are entering the hallowed home of an Original Six club. But once inside it's a pretty nice arena--one eating area in the main floor concourse has a spectacular water view. There's a great selection of food and drink choices (Sal's pizza was pretty dang good), and there were multiple team stores scattered about the concourses with a large pro shop located just outside the building. Once inside the arena itself, the legendary Bruins' and Celtics' championship banners and retired numbers speak volumes about the combine success of the proud franchises. The Jumbotron is very impressive, but I found the chairs to be much less comfortable than most other NHL arenas that I've visited--though I am not sure if that was just our corner section above the Zamboni exit (Loge 15)--the seats seemed low to the ground so that your knees feel like you are revisiting your elementary school desk, and there just was not much leg/feet room (my feet were firmly up against the chair in front of me the entire game).

Yelp
Yesterday, I went to see Erykah Badu and Yassin Bey, I was having an issue with my tickets and had to go to the ticket counter. While I was in line, this security guy moved something, and a piece of the floor chucked up and hit me. It hurt quite a bit. Like a hard stab, I looked down it was a piece of the floor that chipped and projected at my arm. It didn't do much damage, but I have a small mark/scratch where it hit, and it was stinging for a while. I told the guard to write an incident report and cover the spot so it doesn't get worse or someone gets hurt. He smiled, giggled, and walked away. Meanwhile, the floor is chipping away. I wish I had taken a photo of it. But I was trying to settle my ticket situation as the concert had already started. The performance was AWESOME. Talk about legendary artists. It was a blessing to be breathing the same air as them. Indescribable They have this walk in store now. You can tap your card, walk in, grab whatever, and walk out. It's so convenient. The seats we had were good. Very comfy too, not very spacious but plushy. The food and drinks are as expensive as you can expect. It's 16$ a beer. 8$ a hot dog. But the price you pay for events, that doesn't bother me. But the way that guard dismissed a safety hazard and brushed me off like he didn't just do something that affected me. Good thing it wasn't my face or eye. But TD Garden does better

Yelp
It's my very first time to the TD Garden Arena in Boston. I decided to come support The Big 3 summer basketball league that Ice Cube owns. The arena is AMAZING! I LOVE THE INCORPORATION OF THE CELTICS HISTORY OF ICONS AND CHAMPIONSHIPS throughout the building. It set a level that other NBA arenas strive to be similar. The arena has incredible seating that allows for great view of the court no matter where you seem to sit. Now I'll have to see a Celtics game and support Duke Alumni Jason Tatum and team.

Yelp
On our Boston trip we got to see a Boston Celtics game at the TD Garden! The subway drops you off actually inside the building. So convenient. The only thing I didn't like was I had to log into Ticketmaster to access my tickets. I thought I'd moved both to my iPhone apple wallet. But I only did one. So we had to wait at the turnstiles while I did that. The rest of our time there was good. We had hotdogs for dinner and saw an exciting game!

Yelp
Don't bring ANY bags very strict on bags. $15 dollar charge to leave bag else where on the bottom level floor no lockers

Yelp
Like most large venues, everything is very expensive. Seats. Parking. Food. Drinks. Tips. (TD Garden added a tip screen when checking out) Not all arenas operate this way. The entertainment is usually great, but family night there is generally $750-1000 min!

Yelp
Visiting the TD Garden in Boston, MA is an unforgettable experience that combines the excitement of world-class sports and entertainment with the rich history and vibrant atmosphere of the city. The state-of-the-art arena is home to the Boston Celtics (NBA) and the Boston Bruins (NHL), creating an electric energy on game days. Stepping into the arena, you're immediately immersed in the passionate spirit of Boston sports fans, known for their unwavering support. The roar of the crowd, the sea of team colors, and the iconic chants create an atmosphere that's both thrilling and welcoming. But I didn't get to experience any of that, and not sure how excited I would be being a Lakers and Penguins fan :) I had the opportunity to visit inside the TD garden which I was impressed with the setup that reminds me of a mall. I was able to visit the store for the major sports that take place in the TD Garden ( Celtics and Bruins). I liked that they have a train or trolley transportation directly in the garden. I'd love to catch a Celtics game here sometime.

Yelp
Had the pleasure of visiting TD Garden to watch a Laker game while vacationing in Boston. It was a anniversary gift to my husband who is a longtime Laker fan. We got tickets very close to the court and right behind the Lakers team. A lot of Laker fans were sitting in that area so we had a wonderful time watching the game even though the Lakers lost. The arena is beautiful, super clean and has lots of concession stands. Prices are high for food and drinks but it's pretty much the same at every arena. There are many places to eat around the arena before or after the game.

Yelp
I'm not sure why the reviews are low for this place! I'm a huge fan of TD Garden. I think it's the perfect place for any sporting event or concert. I went recently for the Celtics game and had a blast. all the vendor individuals are extremely nice and always are super helpful. The food is what you can expect from a sporting event but still pretty good - love the nachos

Yelp
One the holy grail must see venues in sports is THE GARDEN and I can officially say " I WAS HERE "! Now let's talk about why, I flew out for the 2023 SEATTLE KRAKEN vs BOSTON BRUINS game and with the KRAKEN humiliating the # 1 team in the NHL I left with a smile a mile wide. Time warp back prior to the win. As I entered the GARDEN I had CLUB Seats so I was whisked away to a private elevator up to Club Level I which was swanky. Off the elevators and to the left was a huge lounge & bar to kick back prior to the game. However I found my seats which were padded and plenty of room. If you needed cocktails & treats someone would deliver them. Hell we even had a visit from Blades the Bruin the Bruins team mascot who busted my balls due to wearing KRAKEN jersey & hat but hey I ended up on winning side so FRANK was a big winner. Yet he did pose for a few pics so how bad could it be.... For those munchie needs you'll find lots of stuff plus another bar were we pit stopped and again the bar maid serving serving me busted my balls due to my team support. And yes I gave her a tip and I had satisfaction of leaving with KRAKEN win. One of the perks in Club Section is all the displays of Boston sports teams. I can appreciate the rich history of sports accomplishments it's impressive. Even a shrine to TOM BRADY , who would have thought LOL. Needless to say you must make The Garden part of your experience in Boston... And BRUINS Fans. " GO KRAKEN "!

Yelp
Being a Bruins fan means knowing the highest highs and the lowest lows, and the 22-23 season had all of them. And despite the loss on December 31st at the Gahden, watching those boys play the Sabres was one of the highs. I brought my daughter with me to Boston to see the Winter Classic and made a last-minute decision to shell out too much cash for two seats in Balcony 320. THE ENERGY. From the time we made our way to Causey Street; you could feel it. Watching Todd sing the National Anthem, the roar for every score, the resounding WOOOOOOOOO! I loved every second of it. The view from the balcony did not disappoint. There was a huge variety of food options, and plenty of rest rooms nearby. I expected the exit to the T would be crazy after the game, but it was relatively quick, and the crowd still carried the energy from the game.

Yelp
I am here very often but never have brought a bag. My fault for not reading the policy's but this rule is a bit ridiculous. They do not allow bags of a certain size, mine was average size over the shoulder bag and was too big. Mind you I have brought this bag to many other venues. They suggested bringing it back to my car which we obviously didn't drive because who drives in Boston or bringing it to the lockers downstairs and paying $15 to keep it there and go get it at the end of the night. Fine. $15 is better than throwing all my stuff away because we don't have a car with us. We go to the find the lockers and find out the "lockers" is some guys truck outside that takes your purse and stores it. No thanks. It looked so sketchy. I decided to take everything out of my purse and just throw my purse away. I have had it for years and was ready for a new one anyways but it left a sour taste in my mouth. They have people by the doors so why can't they just check bags? It's just another way for them to make money off us.

Yelp
Brought my girlfriend and my mom for the Hans Zimmer concert. When we tried to find our seats and asked an Usher to help us he told us we were in the wrong section, we went to where he told us and got to our seats only to be told by another Usher that we were in someone's seat. In the middle of the performance we were told to get up and find our seats with little to no help offered. We were told to GO BACK to where we initially started and the SAME usher who told us we were in the wrong area failed to realize someone had taken our seats in the first place. But instead of telling them to get up he told us to wait until the song ended ( didnt give us the same courtesy ) My girlfriend had asked if there would be anything done to remedy this as we felt like we were being mistreated and the usher responds with " you came late ".....NO WE DIDN'T YOU TOLD US WE WERE IN THE WRONG AREA. So we end up standing around until another usher kindly escorts us to our seats after evicting those who had accidentally taken it. Customer Support was sweet but all they did was give me a card for the email to TDgarden services. Nearly ruined what was suppose to be a pleasant experience...

Yelp
Doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the place. However, lines are long for everything-getting in, security, food and drinks. Ushers need to learn not to stand in the aisles and talk to each other-super distracting.

Yelp
Nice large venue for a concert, conveniently located in downtown Boston. Is the home of the Boston Celtics. Recently went for blink 182 concert. Overall setup was nice. Looks like most seats would provide a good view. They have beer, seltzers and cocktails which are priced very high. They have expensive bottled water but a smart idea is to ask for a cup and fill it up at a water fountain or a sink to save 6-7$.

Yelp
Parking not ideal. Short ride for pre and post game food and drink. Enjoy a Bruins or Celtics game!

Yelp
Being my first time here, it was So easy to get through security and COVID screening. Very easy to find our seats Concession prices are outrageous. Almost $9 for a soda. The Celtics fans were welcoming

Yelp
TD Garden is truly an amazing venue for any concerts or sporting events!!! I have been there for a couple concerts as well as a few Celtics games and I always have a great time! I've experienced a box, the lower LOGE seating, and the nosebleeds and I can safely say- it's difficult to find a bad seat in the house! It's large enough to accommodate very successful artists but still small enough that you can actually get a good look at the people onstage or playing on the court, even from the top levels of seats. Of all the sports/concerts venues, TD Garden is also, by far, the most easily accessible. Security to get in is very fast moving. The North Station T literally drops you off right at the Garden- you don't need to step outside at all to get there or leave, which is great for rainy days or cold winter evenings. The trains do get very very busy before and after, but it's nothing compared to how long traffic would take to drive (not to mention parking) so I highly suggest using public transportation!! The only thing stopping my many TD experiences from getting a perfect 5 star review is the price of concessions. You normally expect to pay a premium for drinks or food at sporting or concert venues, but the concessions here seem to take it to the next level. If you're planning to eat or drink alcohol and don't want shell out more than $20 or so for a cocktail or almost $15 for a beer, I'd recommend stopping by somewhere else on your way for a bite and a drink!

Yelp
I came by November 7 for a Romeo Santos concert. I Uber to the place so I'm not sure how parking is. Security lines were very speedy and there was plenty of police presence which made me feel safe. I bought some drinks and the prices were outrageous. I definitely felt safe and secure.
