Dallas’s Best Restaurants and Bars With Views | Eater Dallas

"Te Deseo has revamped its rooftop into La Terraza Rooftop, with new furniture and a refreshed aesthetic but the same great views into Victory Park and the American Airlines Arena. Chill out under the greenery draped everywhere and enjoy a salsa flight, cheese and chicken stuffed arepas, yellowtail ceviche, and arroz chaufa with garlic rice. Expect cocktails like the Guava Blossom (cachaça, guava nectar, fresh lime, grapefruit juice, and soda), the Fresca Ranchera (zero-proof tequila, lime, strawberry, and Topo Chico with a salt rim), and the Isla Verda (zero-proof rum, lime, pineapple, mint, and Topo Chico)." - Courtney E. This place is truly a vibe! Ideal date night atmosphere or evening of upscale dining with friends. The Latin Cuisine here is delicious and well presented. The customer service was top-notch. They also have an exquisite selection of cocktails and mocktails! I would give them 20 stars if I could!

Love the Music and vibe, the service was amazing, our waiter was the best! Adult beverages were delicious. So, I had ordered the 'Chuletas de Cordero' Now, the grilled lamb chops lacked in flavor a bit, maybe a lil more sazon.. I had also asked for chops to be medium, an rcvd medium rare. The asparagus was good, but that avocado and mint salsa verde was old and turned brown already, was not appetizing. Flavor to Price not matching up on this one. Brisket Tacos were okay... Had an odd flavor to the meat that I couldn't put my finger on and they make it like a discada.. chopped and cooked with tomatoes and onion. 'Cod Moqueca' roasted cod filet, crab, shrimp, coconut milk tomatoes all good but the broccolini was undercooked to where you couldn't cut through it. Also way too much turmeric which overwhelmed the plate as a whole. Wasn't a fan of the poblano rice, weird flavor, and beans needed a lil salt. BUT I will say the 'Ensalada de Sandía' was good, the combination of the flavors. Not sure if the price is worth the food.. service yes, but food ... Eeehh...

Tried this Mexican restaurant once and honestly… that’s enough for me 😂😂😂 Service was okay, but the food was just so-so. The atmosphere was wired, so dark I could barely see what I was eating. What really got me though? I was still eating and the staff suddenly took all my plates away… My scallops were barely touched! I only had one! 😅 Oh, and apparently they don’t allow hats inside the dining area? In a Mexican restaurant? That rule just felt random and unnecessary.. 😲 Not planning to come back…

Google
Food was good but menu seemed limited. We did have to send something back but got another item instead. Service was great. Atmosphere was good, thankful we were seated by fire because it was cold due to being close to the door. It was a 3/5 because I love dessert after my meal & was not interested in any of the 4 items listed.

My husband chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and it truly made the occasion memorable. From the ambiance and food quality to the attentive service and special requests, everything exceeded expectations. I especially appreciated the thoughtful birthday treats, which added a personal touch. Our server was outstanding—attentive, helpful with recommendations, and genuinely contributed to making the evening feel special. We enjoyed the Guava Blossom and Sol de Mango cocktails, started with the charred octopus appetizer, and had the Snapper, Arroz chaufa, Arrachera for our main courses. Every dish was uniquely presented, freshly prepared, and absolutely delicious. Post dinner, we enjoyed the rooftop area and ended the night enjoying the skyline. This will be our new location for an intimate private family gathering. The valet service was complementary and made for quite a stress free, smooth and enjoyable dinner experience that will be cherished for a long time.

Google
Atmosphere was great, prime location, free valet food was well priced and good. No complaints would try again.

Google
It’s cute, floral but very dark inside, the rooftop smells like sewer. My shrimp tacos were good however I thought it was weird that my friends’ ceviche came with pop corn and not crackers or tortilla chips. The drinks were watered down.

Mary Lee Tunnell

Google
I came to celebrate a birthday and thought the rooftop would be the only place we wanted..until we walked into the Social Bar and found the gem called Claudia. She made me feel so welcomed and her service is impeccable. Drinks and food were so good! I feel the entire staff make the vibes great. Very rarely can you walk into a place with no real plan and end up it being the plan for the group. Highly suggest!!!

Yelp
Te Deseo is, hands down, one of the most exceptional dining experiences. From the moment we walked in, the vibrant ambiance, impeccable decor, and lively energy transported us to what felt like an upscale Latin American oasis. Every detail of the restaurant was perfection. What truly made our evening unforgettable was our incredible server, Thalia. She went above and beyond to ensure our experience was flawless. Her warm smile and genuine enthusiasm immediately made us feel welcome, and her knowledge of the menu was outstanding. Thalia's recommendations were spot on, and she guided us through the menu with the expertise of someone who clearly loves what they do. We started with the ceviche, which was fresh and bursting with flavor, followed by quesadillas and nachos that were nothing short of divine. Each dish was beautifully presented and crafted with high-quality ingredients. Thalia's attentiveness was unmatched; she anticipated our needs without being intrusive, and her cheerful demeanor added such a personal touch to the evening. She made us feel like VIPs and turned an already amazing dinner into a truly special experience. Te Deseo is a must-visit for anyone seeking exceptional food, a fun and lively atmosphere, and top-tier service. And if you're lucky enough to have Thalia as your server, you're in for an absolute treat! To help us celebrate 15 years of marriage she also left us a nice treat at the end of the night. Thank you, Te Deseo and Thalia, for a night to remember. We can't wait to come back!

Yelp
To be fair, I didn't try a whole lot of items on the menu. I did really like tuna tartar tacos. The chips for the guacamole was very salty for my liking. And the guacamole lacked flavor. The octopus was mid. But I have to say the service and ambience was great. I just wish I was more happy with my meal but again I didn't try enough of the menu !

Yelp
If I could give this restaurant less than zero stars, I would. Our experience was nothing short of disastrous from start to finish. We had a 6:45 PM reservation, well before the peak dinner rush on a Saturday. Upon arrival, we were informed that our table wasn't ready because the previous party was still paying their bill. Fair enough--we were told it would be 10-15 minutes. However, after one drink at the bar, I asked for an update and was then told the kitchen was "backed up" and it would be another 30 minutes. Keep in mind, the restaurant opens at 5 PM, and they had only seated their first round of reservations. How can the kitchen already be overwhelmed? By this time, it was 40 minutes past our reservation, and we had tickets to a comedy show at 8 PM. Trying to stay patient, we asked the hostess if we could sit at one of the five empty tables near the bar due to our time constraint. Instead of accommodating us, they seated our group of four at a small two-top table. Again, we kept our composure, paid our bar tab, and moved to this less-than-ideal seating arrangement. Once seated, we immediately placed our dinner order, hoping the food would come out quickly. Another 30-40 minutes passed with no food. We repeatedly asked our waiter for an update, and after another 10 minutes with no resolution, we decided to cancel our order since we were now at risk of missing our show. What happened next was shocking. Instead of apologizing or attempting to make the situation right, the waiter had the audacity to bring us a bill for the drinks we'd ordered while waiting at the table--even though we had already paid a tab for our first round of drinks and queso at the bar. When we raised the issue, the waiter called over the manager, who--astonishingly--needed us to explain the situation from the beginning. Shouldn't a manager be aware of how their customers are being treated? After over an hour of waiting, we left the restaurant having eaten nothing but queso. The lack of professionalism, accountability, or basic courtesy from the staff and management was appalling. Even as we walked out, we overheard another group behind us complaining of the exact same issues. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The staff and manager showed zero remorse and made no effort to rectify their mistakes. They didn't even offer to refund our first check. I will never return, and I would urge others to avoid this poorly run establishment.

Yelp
My fiancé brought me here for my birthday dinner! The vibes were giving very much grown and sexy. The lighting was very low and it was decorated beautifully. For starters we had the wedge salad and it was amazing!!!!! For entrees, I got the snapper and he got the lamb chops. We also got a side of potatoes, that green sauce was out of this world and added another layer of flavor to the dish. Service was a 10 as well. Thanks for making my birthday dinner wonderful.

Yelp
Came for the first time with colleagues for dinner. I'd never been here before but Google searches suggested they could accommodate a vegan. Waiter said they could do tacos, fajitas or enchiladas vegan so I went with the enchiladas & they were really good. Had guac for the appetizer & waiter was good to point out that the chips are made in a shared fryer so I appreciated them knowing to point that out. Service was good - it wasn't very busy on a Wednesday night. Valet is shared with Happiest Hour - it's free with info to Venmo/Zelle/Cashapp a tip. I will say, this restaurant is DARK inside - really weird when you walk in & it's so dark. Your eyes do slightly adjust but it's just dark. I had to get out the flashlight on my phone to look at the menu. Couldn't take pics of my food it was so dark. I'm glad we stayed to go to the rooftop - much brighter up there. I was surprised that it wasn't hot up there. There was a nice breeze and it was really pretty. Had a mango rosemary cocktail that was tasty & my coworker had a pina colada-esque drink that was delicious. Would definitely come here again - I might pack a headlamp though...

Yelp
I understand that it's summer in Texas but the restaurant is HOT. They advertise as "indoor seating" but it's really a covered patio with no central AC I'm assuming. our whole party was sweating. We asked if we could move tables, they said no. We ended up leaving before we even ordered food. Their fountain was broken and leaked water all over the floor (it's VERY dark in there. Someone could've slipped) and my gown got soaked. We were with a wedding party. The server was very nice but you'd think that with the issues we were having, she could've escalated to management but they didn't. I told 2 employees that my gown got wet because of their broken water fountain and nobody apologized. Every time I've gone, there has been an issue, or something distasteful happens.

Yelp
Honestly, two stars is being nice. Insanely over priced for BLAND food. I ordered shrimp Diablo and I got about 10 pieces of TINY shrimp that was not seasoned at all. My friend sent back two of her plates because both the brisket and the chicken did not have any seasoning whatsoever. $40 for 10 pieces of bland shrimp and a $30 free to bring my friend a birthday cake... I absolutely do not recommend this place especially because the rooftop bar is nowhere near nice enough for their prices. CHOOSE A DIFFERENT BAR!!

Yelp
Thalia was a true delight from start to finish! She was incredibly attentive; when we noticed our table was unbalanced, she promptly came over to fix it. I allowed her to choose some expertly crafted drinks for us, and I was not disappointed. We began with the ceviche trio, which was delicious and accompanied by popcorn and corn chips. For the main course, we savored the braised short rib and camarones brochettas, both of which were outstanding. Thank you once again, Thalia, for your exceptional hospitality! Overall it's a pretty cool vibes!

Yelp
My wife and I came here for birthday. Seated right away. Our server Janelle was over right away and took great care of us all night. We knew we wanted the date night special. First of all way more food then two can eat but the flavor of all the meats and the two sauces was outstanding. Cooked perfect MR sides were delicious and flavorful. Flaming skull dessert is a must we will be back. Could be a little brighter inside.

Yelp
I was not allowed to enter because I had a sheer vest on. I mean this is not a five star restaurant, you serve nachos, it's 100 degrees outside and I'm wearing Bottega!!! Oh well.
google avatar

Ramiro R.

Yelp
The food was delicious. The service was great. Save for a server that shoulder checked my husband. Our server brought him to our table to make him apologize making the party uncomfortable. V odd. Drinks were good. Came to celebrate a bday. We were recommended to go upstairs to check out their rooftop. Server was unaware there was a private party occupying it. As we were leaving, they stated it was a mistake and they would be opening soon. It was too much whiplash. So we left.

Yelp
We decided to go here on the way to an event. I saw that the reviews were good, and the brisket tacos were suggested as a good menu item. When we arrived, the place was super dark, but I loved the cute decor and the unique look. Food was bland and unremarkable. No chips and salsa (which is fine I guess), no Dr Pepper, and the $19 brisket tacos were small with no seasoning. The menu is completely different from what I saw online. The food pictures aren't accurate anymore either. When I went to the restroom, 2 workers were together, smoking a cig and a blunt in the large stall. Lovely. Disappointed and won't be back.

Yelp
I made reservations to come here after the MAVS game. The interior was so cute. We started off with the queso and it was delicious. I ordered flautas. They were really good. It came with a fresh salad on top and that was tasty. I was also able to sample the stack quesadillas and the cheese that was used made it so delicious and creamy. Definitely coming back when I'm back on this side of town.

Yelp
Evening started with the restaurant not opening its doors until 1710- which is 10 minutes late. There were 29 people in line waiting. Service was not up to par. I ordered a water refill at 1737. It came at 1757...20 minute wait for water. The server had not come to check on the table during the entire 20 minutes.. the meal came at 1803 after 45 minutes.....finally the plates were placed in front of the wrong diners. I was served my wife's meal and vice versa.

Lindsay S.

Yelp
Service was slow for how slow overall the restaurant was but the best elote I ever had made up for it. The fajitas and shrimp diablo tacos were delicious. However, it was so uncomfortably hot and humid INSIDE the restaurant that I started to feel sick and thought I was going to pass out. For that reason alone, I would be incredibly hesitant to ever return unless it was the winter.
google avatar

Timia W.

Yelp
I dream about Te Deseo's stacked brisket quesadillas! I get a side of chimichurri to dip them in too. OMG. Our server was nice. The vibe is cool. I tried to go up and enjoy the rooftop but that was quickly ruined because of a creepy crawly r**** that crawled near me and I'm deathly afraid. But it was outdoors so I guess they can't really control that. That aside, please go try the quesadillas for yourself!
google avatar

Lorenzo S.

Yelp
This was my first time coming here! Food was great but we had a little problem. Wife and I had a little too much of an entre to handle and they offered to take our food and hold it while we went upstairs to their upstairs bar. While we were there for about an hour we were ready to leave. We gave the staff our number that that they gave us to pick up our food. turns out they couldn't find it. I guess the boogeyman ate it or the closet monster did. We were very disappointed since the food was very pricey. I wouldn't recommend trusting their staff to hold your stuff while you get a a drink. A whole meal gone to waste. Thanks a lot

Yelp
Te deseo was one of the first restaurants I tried when I moved to Dallas 4 years ago, and it's been in my top 3 best restaurants ever since. They have complimentary valet, and the ambiance is amazing with beautiful art, low and moody lighting with plenty indoor/outdoor seating space. The food is delicious, I always get the brisket taco when I'm there and each time it tastes phenomenal! Their elote, street potato, and poblano rice are my absolute favorites. Service is also great never had a bad experience.
google avatar

Cynthia L.

Yelp
We googled Dallas date nights and found that this place has a Thursday dinner for two special for $99 so we went; due to traffic we didn't think we had time anymore but just to grab bc we had another event to go to within the hour. So we sat at the bar - social bar. We loved it! The bartender Claudia was great and got us the dinner for two special within our time limit. Everything was delicious, we also had the Deseo Margarita and another one - both drinks were amazing. I didn't get to do the skull desert but next time. They have complimentary valet next to happy hour so look there for parking. We like sitting at the bar bc we felt like we got a show seeing the bartender make everyone's drinks I was like ohhh what's that . We have to go back for happy hour for sure . The food was . Lamb was the best and juicy.
google avatar

Jana S.

Yelp
I highly recommend going here for happy hour! The strawberry margarita & coconut margarita taste better than your average margaritas and are hands down the best happy hour margaritas I've had. The happy hour food is excellent! It's smaller portions than the same items on their regular menu. The Bartender gave us great service!

Breanna G.

Yelp
The service was great !!! Our server was Thalia she was fast, bubbly and attentive. First time being at Te Deseo the atmosphere is such a vibe ! Great drinks, great food and music !!! 10/10

Yelp
We celebrated valentines Day late and TeDeseo did not disappoint. We were seated immediately upon check-in, followed by being greeted by our server. The seating could've been better but, the restaurant was very vibrant and the overall restaurant was aesthetically pleasing. I ordered the Arrachera Fajitas which were perfectly seasoned and tender. My Fiance order the short rib which was equally as good. I look forward to going back sooner rather than later.
google avatar

Kelley P.

Yelp
I celebrated my Chapter 62 birthday here and had a wonderful time. Enjoyed the great service, the complimentary valet parking, the soothing ambiance with the beautiful flowers and candles everywhere and loved the rooftop for dancing and views of downtown Dallas. The only disappointment was that I couldn't experience the chocolate skull dessert because they ran out of them it's so popular, but I'm coming ba
google avatar

Yelp
The food was amazing! The service was great but the restaurant is very dark! Hard to even see the menu. Didn't bother me too much because the food and service made up for it!
google avatar

Yelp
We came here for the skull dessert and the skull dessert only. It did NOT disappoint! It was so much fun to watch and, to my surprise, it even tasted good! I was really expecting it to look cool, but taste horrible. The staff were really fun and hyped us all up as we cheered while it burned.
google avatar

Lwito N.

Yelp
Te Deseo had a nice dark romantic scene to it, the food was delicious! And our server was helpful, the only complaint I have is when we had to pay the bill on one card their system was a bit confusing. Other than that it was great!

Yelp
Food was amazing, and the service was excellent. Ambiance is spectacular. My wife and enjoyed the entire experience

Yelp
Let me say this restaurant exceeded my expectations. I truly had a good time and enjoyed my experience. I stuck to my plan of having appetizers and sides. With drinks and cocktails to finish the evening. I would go back and try the main entrees now. Ambiance 4 STARS The inside restaurant space is decorated nicely. I love the turquoise and red colors. The tree in the center is quirky. The flowers running down the walls add a nice touch. It's truly charming with the open air roof. When you step into the bar area downstairs is cute and comfy. Looks like a totally different restaurant. The rooftop bar matches the main restaurant and is a nice spot to chill. Food 4 STARS Elotes-yummy, flavorful and love the crunch my topping, I highly recommend this to share. Arroz Chaufa-delicious rice and well seasoned. This was my favorite dish. All the components mixed in the garlic flavored rice worked well. The shrimp and avocado, eggs and much more were pure deliciousness! Order this and thank me later! Queso-it was ok my friend enjoyed it. I don't recommend it. Street Cart Potatoes- they were different I'm undecided on this side dish. It was good, but not sure if I would get them again. Enjoyed trying them once. SKULL DESSERT-presentation and taste 5 STARS It was so cool and tasty at the same time. Inside the head was a mini chocolate molten shaped cake. It's paired with vanilla ice cream in a cute taco dessert shell. Definitely shareable and a chance to get cool photos and video options. The skull will be set on FIRE! Service 4 STARS My waitress was nice and helpful. She did a great job of taking care of our table. She made the dinner special by bringing my mom a small birthday cookie lit with a candle. Drinks 4 STARS The drinks were great and strong. Nothing was watered down. They were beautiful and colorful. We all loved our choice. Bonus-Mexican Candy Shots were awesome. I ordered a round for the table. We all loved the scrumptious shot. Cheers to the birthday girl my mom was a perfect finish to celebrating. I left happy, full and satisfied! The bill comes in a cute black holder with a red rose on it. It was pricey, but was well worth it for a cool and unique experience! It's the small touches like this and the girls wearing a red rose in their hair that make it classy. Overall I had a wonderful time and visit.

Yelp
Food is good Service is very bad! Our waiter was rude and took forever to even bring a cup of Coca Cola *Busgirls were really nice and friendly though

Yelp
This place is kidding itself with its dress code, enforcing rules at the door that are different than what's online. Mid $20s plates by the arena thinking it's upscale but it's not worth the time

Yelp
Update 2/14 I finally decided to give this establishment another chance and take my partner there for valentine's day. There was a preset 3 course menu with a few selections for the first course , second course , and dessert. Upon entering the restaurant it seems the hostess table was in a frequent rush which is understandable due to it being busy. We were immediately seated in an area outside the main area which seems like it missed the ambiance of the night. Our server was amazing and very attentive he even escorted me to the restaurant to show me the way. The food was very very subpar and simply bland. For it to be $85 per person I expected more. Somethings were room temperature and not served hot and somethings just seemed rushed as if I were at an all inclusive resort buffet. The drinks were definitely the star of the night. The pours were generous and the drinks were refreshing. Whoever the bartender was for the night I could definitely tell they knew what they were doing. Ambiance 3/5 Food 2/5 Service 5/5 Drinks 5/5

Leslie G.

Yelp
I had an amazing time with my friends and the interior was so beautiful! The staff was extremely helpful and I cannot wait to go back again for drinks!
google avatar

Heidi W.

Yelp
I loved the ambience upon entering. The dark dimly lit dining room really appealed me. The staff here were all dressed really nice. Everyone was very friendly. Service was prompt and efficient. The snapper was amazing and I thought the portion was large. The drinks left something to be desired to me. I felt like they all could have had a better presentation. They looked sloppy to me and tasted a little bland. The staff was very lovely to my pregnant friend and made her some lovely mocktails though.

Brittany K.

Yelp
Chase was our host. His manager stated he was promoted to server and we WILL BE BACK to see him! Thank you so much for taking care of us

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place. We came on a Thursday to try out their date night special dinner for two. Upon arrival we were sat in a small table away from their beautiful courtyard. The little table where we sat was uncomfortable and the picture that was next to me had dirty food splatters and was throwing off the vibe. Our waitress was friendly and greeted us warmly. For a drink I ordered the Deseame. When the waitress was going over the ingredients of the Deseame drink she stated that Aguardiente Antioqueño was from Brazil, which I immediately corrected her and told her she was not correct because Aguardiente comes from Colombia. She then asked me if I was sure? Which I immediately told her 100% because I am Colombian. She apologized and I also understood that maybe this was not her fault, and more of a training issue. However after this I did not want to get any more drinks. I was afraid to ask for the Maluma Baby and her tell me that Maluma is also from Brazil. The drink was good but definitely not very strong. The Caesar salad came out and it was just okay. The Parrillada was very delicious. All the meats were very flavorful, but my favorite was the sausage. The Parrillada came out with rice, beans and tortillas. It was all good but the rice was absolutely delicious. We upgraded our dessert to get the flaming Skull and it was really awesome and delicious. However we had told our waitress that we were getting the skull when we ordered the food and it still took about 20 minutes to get to our table, so definitely keep that in mind. Overall this place is very cute and I wish I had a better experience.

Yelp
This was a dinner spot for a group of girlfriends before heading to our final spot. The vibes are very upscale, 30s & up, sexy, etc. The restaurant is so cute! The food & drinks were good! No issues with service. A little on the pricier side. I was a little surprised to see $17 guacamole. If you're prepared for that, you'll love the restaurant.

Yelp
The decor and ambiance was amazing! Fun roof top for Latin music with a dj. Great restaurant for a date night. Food was good.

Yelp
Absolutely impressed! We went for the date night special. It didn't disappoint. Very generous portions of high quality food. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our server Thalia was fun and very personable. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
They should do brunch every weekend! Great service Awesome DJ Tasty cocktails and great company The empanadas were crispy fried goodness El Chicano burger was so Pretty I didn't want to eat it but I did and WOW the marinated tomates are not to be missed imo La Colombiana steak and eggs were pretty much perfect And the mojitos and spicy margs were consistently delicious I've always loved coming here for dinner and always WISHED for them to open for brunch.. I'll take what I can get but they do brunch right and I can't help but keep my fingers crossed for this to be a weekly occurrence Great experience

Yelp
I took my wife and son to Te Deseo and we were thoroughly impressed. We're from OKC, and we have our share of Latin cuisine, but this place stepped it up a notch. The chicken arepas were delicious and the guacamole with chips were also just as great! We had the Lomo steak and the Angosto Steak, both extremely delicious and impressive presentation.

Yelp
The security staff here is lazy. I was a customer here every weekend for months and now I am not. Here's my story: Me: (Minding my own business spending 95% of the night sitting on chairs looking at my phone because I am new to Dallas and don't know anyone yet.) Bouncer: "You match the description of someone who was recording videos of people. I am kicking you out." Me: (Confused and flabbergasted) "You have the wrong guy. Can you please look at my phone. You, or someone who works here, can look through my phone as much as you like and you will see I have recorded no videos." Bouncer: "I don't care. Other people described a guy who looks like you." Me: "Looking like someone is not always the same as actually being the person. Can I please speak with your manager and they can look at my phone. I guarantee that after two minutes you will realize you need to keep looking because there are no videos on my phone from here." Bouncer: "No, I am not going to let you talk to my manager. You are leaving." Me: "I don't want to be permanently banned from my favorite bar for something I didn't do. Can someone from the staff or your manager please look at my phone. You can look at my phone as long as you like so you will know I am innocent." Bouncer: "The night is just ending early for you. You will not be banned. I know this sucks, but it is no big deal." (The bouncer lied) Me: (I decide not to keep trying to see the manager since I was told I will not be banned long-term and the night is just ending early). Me: (Next day I try to get tacos and I get stopped by the blond haired doorman bouncer) Bouncer: "I cannot let you in here. We aren't feeling it after what you did." Me: "I did nothing. I tried to get the other bouncer to review my phone so I could prove I did nothing. I just sat on the couch for 95% of the night and didn't interact with any other people. He said I was not going to be banned. The night was just going to end early. Can I please talk to the manager about this." Bouncer: "Nope. Manager is busy. We aren't feeling it. Go somewhere else." Summary: I was a customer for months and now Te Deseo is losing revenue from me because the bouncer kicked out the wrong guy. He was too lazy to keep looking for the actual perpetrator and review evidence for TWO minutes that would easily prove my innocence. I was also publicly humiliated in front of several dozen people for doing something I didn't do. There was no concern for accuracy by the bouncer to make sure the right person was getting punished.

Yelp
Came here for Valentine's Day weekend! It was crowded but we had reservations and were seated promptly! The restaurant is dimly lit and beautifully decorated. Our waitress was wonderful ! I wish I remembered her name. She was very knowledgeable on the menus and have great suggestions . I ordered the short rib plate which was very flavorful! I also have French 75 which was not on the menus but was well made and delicious! Valet was so convenient! I would definitely return!

Yelp
Meh, I went for NYE, the food is average and overpriced in my opinion. My server was incredible though! Also really cute bathrooms. Music had a fun Latin flare, cute atmosphere for a date or a night out.

Yelp
Te Deseo is the perfect place for a healthy balance of calm elegance and fun. From the ambience to the service this Unique establishment offers a little bit of home away from home with its latin/ Brazilian aesthetic. Highly recommend for a date night or a girls night ended with dancing

Yelp
Nope. There's so many glamorous restaurants with cool ambiences in Dallas with way better service. Took us almost 20 minutes to get a server to order drinks. Finally got a girl willing to help but she was overwhelmed so we had to keep tracking her down to order things etc the food was pretty good. And the place is pretty with good music. But to have an almost 2.5 hour experience just because we couldn't get decent service is just too much for me. Not sure I'll be back

Yelp
Fun birthday celebration for my brother Sunday night. Chase is a great host. We were reserved for the 'La Familia' tapas, we were seated and told that they no longer offer the 'La Familia!' Got that sorted out & they chose to provide for our reservation. Our easy-going server made the confusion all better. Food was good. The pièce d'resistance was amazing...a skull chocolate lava cake, which they flambé with perhaps too much alcohol, served with ice cream taco & fresh fruit garnish. It was simply too fun for words. This has to be THE place to celebrate Day of the Dead!

Yelp
Everything/ service was horrible / bar service felt like they were gay prejudice with nobody at the bar I had asked 3 different waiters for a drink. and they didn't know what sparking wine was. Would not recommend that place to anybody.
