Yelp
I wasn't too impressed by this place; I got the brûlée Ceylon milk tea with boba regular sweetness, and similar to what reviews say, it would've been watered down if I got less sugar. It was just the right amount of sweetness with regular sweetness, coming from someone that is not a fan of very sweet desserts.
The boba is up there texture-wise but has room for potential; while it is chewy, they had a stronger aftertaste than other high quality boba. This might be mostly because the boba itself is not brown sugar boba but rather just plain general boba. The drink itself, although quite unique, did not really provide complementary flavors: milk tea + brûlée didn't really work for this drink; after drinking 25%, the flavors started to weirdly mesh together and the drink is a bit more powdery for some reason. Good creme brûlée should be smoother in texture. However, I give some props for them for caramelizing to make the drink more aesthetic.
Might give this a second try for the blended yogurt series in the far future, given that, even though I don't really revisit a place so that I get a chance to try more places, I likely will as I will eventually run out of boba places if I drink boba once every week or two
