If you’re Black or a person of color, think twice before coming here. I visited Tea Bazzar for the first time and was greeted politely at first. But while my family and I were exploring teas, an employee singled us out and suggested only the watermelon flavor. Out of all the teas, that’s the one she chose for us. We weren’t specifically looking at the watermelon tea nor were we near it. As an African American I am extremely disappointed in her ignorant and hateful behavior. Never will I or my family be coming back here.

Really good selection of teas, loved that they had one called "Breathe" and another one "Feel Better soon" which have herbs with medicinal properties which I can brew and drink with lemon and honey when I get sick. Also their pumpkin chai is really good! I hope one day they start selling their teas in bulk to help me with my zero waste endeavors. Also so much better when I get to take my containers and fill them up, hopefully one day 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

We visited them at the PB farmer's market while we were on vacation. There were tons of options. The young lady worker was super nice and answered a ton of questions that came her way. She encouraged us to smell the optio s and asked really good questions so we found the right tea. The display was clean amd organized. And made sure we had everything we needed. THANK YOU FOR THE AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Google
Tea Bazaar is the best source for organic & specialty tea in San Diego. They have fresh, ethically sourced quality teas. Milk Oolong is my personal fave. Earl Grey for Every Day. Healthful herbal blends such as Sleeping Beauty to help me relax in evening. Headache Fairy to decrease inflammation & increase circulation. I like to get rose petals, lavender and other herbals from Tea Bazaar to make my own blends. Always fresh & aromatic.

Problem not the tea! I went to the night market last night and it was my very first time being there; so I was partially excited. When I say the teas were not the problem they weren’t. It was the lady at the stand very mean and cold for no reason. Gave me dirty looks and belittling gestures but was kind to another soul. I was interested in the tea and possibly riding some in the foreseeable future or possibly even checking in out the place but I don’t know if I want to support a business where the people are unkind for no good reason.

Google
An all inclusive tea store. They have tea bags for loose leaf tea. Only place in town I could find them. I highly recommend them

Google
Great tea selection, I wish they had some free samples for taste. That said, I like their shop a lot and I’ve gotten different teas and gift cards for friends who are also tea lovers.

Google
If you're looking for specific herbs NOT in a "blend"- they do not carry. The man working continuously spoke over me when I simply wanted to ask for specific herbs. They have tea, just not medicinal roots, herbs for specific ailments.

Yelp
Stopped in here on whim and so glad we did. The store is clean and organized, and the salesperson was friendly and helpful. They have jars set up so you can smell the different teas, and I appreciate the option to buy sample sizes to discover which flavors we like best.

Yelp
The person helping me was welcoming and invited me to smell the leaves of so many different teas. There's a huge variety of uncaffeinated, green, and black teas as well as Yerba mate teas. There's also a handy tea menu to explain the components and flavor profiles of each tea. I was able to sample the scents of so many different teas and ended up choosing one black and one green tea. Swami Power (black) is so fruity and bright. I love this tea so much. The Lavender Fields (green) has a strong floral flavor. I definitely would get swami power again once I run out, but would pass on the Lavender Fields next time-- it's still good though! The teas cost a pretty penny, but I think it's worth it.

Yelp
I was visiting the Farmers Market and met this business. Decided to check their official building. I was able to get the good travel appropriate bags. I got their butterbeer and a fruity green tea. Highly recommend. There's a great variety of teas from green, roobios, black, and others. Plus this place is close to the best places in Little Italy.

Yelp
Was in the area and popped into this cute tea shop! Great variety of herbal teas and others available. Very friendly staff and able to recommend a few popular picks. Will definitely return.

Yelp
The hostess was really friendly and helpful. She was able to put together a collection of teas to give out as a gift and made sure to customize it. They also have a great collection of tea stuff and got myself a cute llama tea infuser. One of the things I have found helpful is that they also added a magnet that reminds you about the different teas and their brewing times. Wished I lived closer so that I can visit more often. Would go again when I am in the area.

Yelp
I ordered three fall teas for $49.99 for my friend for her birthday on 11/23/24. She received a package with the breathe tea I did not order but did not receive any of the teas I ordered. I have contacted the company several times to get a refund and they said the package was delivered. I will not be ordering from this company again and would recommend that others don't as well.

Yelp
Very clean business, smells of teas are divine. The hostess/cashier was very friendly and helpful. Was patient and not very pushy or sales driven, which I liked. A lot of great tea stuff, tried two different batches and got a tea infuser

Yelp
March 2023 we spent our spring break in San Diego. While spending a day wondering around Little Italy we happened upon this tea shop and I am a HUGE Chai Tea fan and have been ordering loose leaf tea from David's Tea for years. The shop was great, the service was perfect and after lots of tea smelling, I opted for the Yellow Brick Road and it has quickly become one of my favorite chais. I live on the other aide of the country and still choose to order tea from Tea Bazaar because the blends and quality are worth it.

Yelp
I've ordered online a couple times from Tea Bazaar after finding them at the Pacific Beach Farmer's Market. Every time I have ordered from this small business, the tea has been shipped in a timely manner, and the prices are excellent. I regularly purchase the Ruby Red as I love a good fruity herbal tea, but everything I have purchased has been very good. I have also received a nice little note thanking me for my purchase every time I have placed an order. I highly recommend Tea Bazaar for your loose leaf tea needs.

Yelp
First, this review for Tea Bazaar is for the latest two bags of China Jasmine tea I have received after my husband ordered it online. I believe their in-person service and teas have been top notch for me in the past. That's why when I opened my latest bag of China Jasmine I was underwhelmed by the inadequate Jasmine aroma and flavor in my tea--it almost tasted like they forgot to add it. I have purchased this specific tea about three times before, and the past three bags were fragrant and delicious. What was once an enjoyable part of my morning routine to bring me peace and energy is now more like chugging coffee from the workplace that has been sitting there. I was not sure what had happened, so I reached out to the company on their contact information provided on their website, but have not received an email reply.

Yelp
Love this place. The tea is amazing and they have such a great variety. You can even order online.

KATHY T.

Yelp
Love their teas. I usually go to the farmers markets to get my tea but I have also gone in to their store. It's hard to buy regular boxed tea now. I love their tea so much!

Yelp
First time here and Yadi was dope, great help. He was very informative in helping me find some teas I needed to suit my needs.

Yelp
I got a Collection as a gift from a colleague, and while intrigued, I was not that excited. Boy was I wrong! The Orange Creamsicle in particular was literally the best tea I've ever had. As a result, my cup was empty almost instantly. So that was pretty upsetting.

Yelp
Just in love with this product!! Just tried oolong peach ginger loose leaf tea And I love love it!! It is not too gingery and such amazing smell and ingredients You can just see the quality in the ingredients I look forward to my cup of tea everyday Go check them out you will not be disappointed I find them at the ocean beach market 4-8 on Wednesdays and there shop in little Italy is so amazing and has everything you need and so knowledgeable The best part is that everyone that I have tried from the epic London fog to a mango green tea are all so epic!!

Liz S.

Yelp
I saw them at the Farmer's Market in Vista and tried a bag of the London Fog (black tea, cornflower, bergamot and vanilla, SWOON) which I immediately fell madly in love with and now must have every morning. So good that I made a point of stopping in to the shop the next time I was in SD, and Iagree with what everyone else has said: clean, friendly, magnificent bounty of aromas! I got sample sizes of two other teas and resupplied my London Fog. One of the samples was an herbal called Red Winter's Wine - also swoon worthy!! I'm a regular for life. I want a Tea Bazaar t-shirt! Where's the merch?

Robert M.

Yelp
Awesome small business with a kind caring motivated founder. The teas are all super unique and delicious. This is clearly something she is passionate about. She genuinely cares about her customers and was kind enough to ship orders across the country to me as well as others very quickly. Super responsive on instagram regarding any inquiries. Highly recommend. Everyone whose tried the teas i bought absolutely love them.

Yelp
Purchased my first Earl Grey tea yesterday at Hillcrest Farmer's Market for $18. Very disappointed with the product. It was the worst Earl Grey tea I have every tasted. Throwing it out.

Yassamin E.

Yelp
Love this place! They've been a farmers market staple for quite a while and now have their own storefront. Happened to see it on my way to the trolley station and popped in for a bag of my favorite Clear Skin from Within herbal tea. Best tea blends in all of SD!
