"Tea Brick’s signature drinks are its fruit teas that contain freshly chopped fruit pieces in each cup. The tea is strong, unlike other tea places that use artificial flavors to cover up lower-quality tea. One of the most popular drinks is the Christine, a strawberry, mango, and passion fruit green tea with chopped mango and strawberry fruit. The Yummee Peachee Lychee is an iced tea infused with peach and lychee flavor and paired with lychee jelly, peach, and lychee bits. Tea Brick is also known for its ever-changing seasonal, collectible reusable cups that feature cute animal drawn by a local artist." - Kristie Hang

Google
Kudos to Tea Brick, their customer service was top notch n their boba craft of the Yummee Peach Lychee was very savory of my choice of 75% sweetness it was so well balanced I can taste the peach flavor mixed with green tea n savory lychee bits. Also the Kangnam Tea, my friend excitably ordered the refreshing taste of honey and kumquats, the strawberry bits added with limes n small boba bits. We both shared a box of chicken wings, small but the smell was so appetizing!

The drinks here are good. The desserts are great. The fries are great. The food prices are about average for a tea place. Nice decorations. Slightly limited seating. The bench is slightly cushioned.

I discovered this place about two months ago, and I was immediately impressed by the countless awards on display and the incredible variety of drinks, toppings, and cup options. Ever since, my go-to has been the Milk Strawberry Snow—smooth, creamy, and perfectly sweet. Whether you're a boba lover or just craving a refreshing treat, this spot is definitely worth a visit!

Google
Nice portions for the brick toast, and good taste. Food takes time to come out. Minimal decor so not exactly an aesthetic date dessert place or something like that

Google
Like a brick of sugar in your tea? They offered a variety of drinks, but teas were SUPER sweet. I usually don't find boba milk teas as too sweet or super sweet. First time and last time coming to this place. You couldn't taste the tea through all the sugar inside the drink, not even a hint. I wouldn't even advise you bring your child here with how sweet the drinks are.

Google
Very pleased by this dope boba spot and I LOVE the cup they serve the drinks in. You can choose from a variety of topping and there menu is dense. So many options so it's really hard to choose from. Everything just sounds so good. If you absolutely can not pick just choose from the top ten list. Will be coming back.

Google
Boba lovers here. Wanted to try different boba milk tea in California and decided to try this because of the reviews. Conclusion is the taste okay (it is too sweet for me), boba is chewy and love the Beauty Cup ! I consider the price is cheap considering the cute cup 🥤 😉

Google
$5.35+ drinks. Wifi is fast. Wifing/study with laptop spot with plenty of seats, and limited outlet access. Restroom requires request of a key. Staff are nice. Drinks are okay but come in reusable corgi container. Located in plaza with Mama Lu #2. Plenty of parking underneath shaded basement.

Yelp
I'm not sure how to feel about service. They are hardly there. There is a little kiosk that lets you order your drinks, and you don't have to interact with any of the staff members. I stopped going to the kiosk because if you have a five star account you can accumulate points for a free drink, but that's only if you aren't in a hurry and are willing to wait for someone to come and take your order. I love getting their teas as a slushie, I only order their fruit teas because they don't offer lactose free milk. They do have almond milk but I'm not certain which ones you can or cannot substitute. But I like to stick with the slushies they are refreshing during the summer. In the rainy season, I like getting the fruit teas hot. The real star of the show is their brick toast. They are absolutely delicious!! The condensed milk is a classic, light, and feels fresh. It comes with vanilla ice cream and fruit. Their chocolate Nutella is rich and sweet. It comes with vanilla ice cream and fruit as well. Their matcha flavor comes with matcha ice cream, fruit, and is dusted with matcha powder. I don't recommend it if you don't like matcha.

Yelp
Of all the boba tea shops we've visited, this place consistently serves the best boba--soft on the outside with a chewy, sweet center. The fruit tea at 75% sweetness is perfect for us. Some of our favorite teas include Lycheeberry, Vanessa, and Tommy. They also have a point system where you can collect points for a free drink. Most places no longer offer such incentives, using COVID-19 as an excuse. COVID-19 was over two years ago.

Yelp
I used to come here all the time because it's down the street from me. However, recently their drinks have been tasting like mold/mildew. The last 2 times, I got large chrysanthemum teas. I thought it was a fluke/in my head but my partner mentioned to me, without being prompted, that it smelled like mildew/mold in the entire store. This last time, I took one sip of my drink and realized that it was not a fluke and my drink, indeed, tasted like mold/mildew. Too bad I had already made it home before trying my drink so I couldn't get my money back. The way the drinks are sealed with their pink lids makes it so that you are unable to drink from them on the go. You'd need two hands, one to hold the drink and another to hold the pink screw-on lid. There's also an aluminum seal over your drink, under the lid, that you are supposed to rip off - it is too hard to poke your straw through - making it extra hard to enjoy your drink right away. Although I was disappointed by their declining drink quality, their service was quick and professional. You can either order from the kiosk or the cashier.

Mari K.

Yelp
Yay TEA BRICK I really do appreciate the slushes and teas they have here. I like that they are quick in their service and are polite. The ambiance is super chill and very clean. I like the wall art they have as it adds to their aesthetic. Their rewards program is also a great addition.

Kaitlyn L.

Yelp
The drinks have stayed the same for the past years I've come here. I always take friends or family here for the unique cups they have. I am giving 3 stars solely because I ordered through the self kiosk and made sure to request for the cup rather than the normal ones. When she gave me my order I said I thought I requested for this cup and she was very rude and seemed to be annoyed that I questioned her. I made sure in my order that I requested for the correct one too so I know I didn't mess up.

Becky C.

Yelp
Tea Brick is a charming spot, especially if you're into fruit teas--something I don't usually go for, but I'd definitely make an exception here. The cups are super cute, which adds to the experience. My only gripe was that the boba was a bit hard on the day I visited. Typically drinks take awhile to come out not really sure why but there is seating for you to hang out while you wait.

Tim J.

Yelp
Holy mother of cow. This places boba is incredible. It's also cheap for the amount you get. The place is super cool and the brick architecture is nice. The service is super fast too. Get a fruit tea they are the best.

Brook M.

Yelp
The tea is good but the tea flavor is too strong and no fruit flavor. Maybe add more fruit flavor next time

Jessica S.

Yelp
Such a cute boba place! Loved the paintings and the brick wall. Workers were friendly and patient as I decided on our drinks. They have few non-caffeinated options, but they're able to customize some drinks, which is perfect for us! The Chocolate Lover tops my list of chocolate drinks at boba shops. My kids loved the souvenir cups. It really adds a special touch. The drinks weren't overly sweet and had great flavor. Last thing I wanted to mention is that they open until 10pm, which is great for late night boba cravings.

Ryan Y.

Yelp
I've visited on two occasions and the place is always busy! It's a narrow shop with seating on one end, and the kiosk/kitchen on the other. Besides the awkward shifting that you have to do because of the narrowness of the shop, there isn't much in terms of ambiance or decor that is too exciting. The wait time for drinks/food is pretty considerable but there is typically a long line of folks who have ordered, etc. Highlights for me: popcorn chicken and the mango green tea with jelly.

Helen Q.

Yelp
Cute boba tea shop for all the corgi and dog lovers. Drink comes in a super cute bottle with dog designs. I loved the bottle more than the drink itself. The drink wasn't bad, I just love the bottle more and came here mainly for that. Lol. I ordered the green milk tea with only 25% sugar level, which left me with less of a milk flavor and a much stronger bitter tea flavor. Next time I'll go with 50% sugar level. As far as ambiance, the place could use some more lighting, although they may be going for that darker dimmer look. It was loud and fairly busy with people. There are a couple tables and chairs on both sides of their narrow hallway like walkway for sit in. There is an register order counter with no one there to take your order. Not sure if the employee stepped away momentarily or we strictly order from the order kiosk. The ordering kiosk is easier to access by walking through the back door. Kiosk is fairly quick and simple, but the menu did not list any descriptions. Good idea to look it up beforehand to make the process quicker. Once your order is completed and ready, they call your order to pickup at this little cut out counter.

Karla R.

Yelp
Cozy, cute and has a variety of beverages to appease all kinds of tea lovers. There's hot tea, fruity tea, milk tea and some snacks available for purchase here. Previously I've gotten hot chrysanthemum tea and thought it was phenomenal. During this recent visit, I really wanted one of the cute corgi cups so I ordered an iced tea! The Christine Tea - 10/10 very nice and fruity with a generous portion of fresh fruit packed at the bottom. The chunks of fresh mango and strawberries were such a nice touch to this green tea, and the corgi cup is a gorgeous keepsake that will be put to good use in the future! Tea Brick shares a parking lot with several other popular eateries. If you can't find parking right outside, there is underground parking under the structure for free :)

Emily L.

Yelp
12.16.2o23 So we bump into our friends at Mama Lu's. What a coincidence! So we joined them for dinner, and we offered to get their family boba drinks since they paid for dinner. Tea Brick it is since it's pretty much right next door. I got the Dragon Ball bc I'm a dragon. Don't guess my age. Hahahah. This one was very good, very refreshing. You can also pay a bit more for a cute corgi cup.

Katie C.

Yelp
Been on a boba kick lately! And revisiting some oldy but goody locations such as this one. Haven't been here in ages. Great place for specialty drinks, they have so many different options and varieties to choose from. From guava, blueberry, lychee, mango, and a few others. Their fruity tea preset drinks are great for those that need a little extra oomph than a basic peach green tea. Love that many of those preset fruity teas come with fruit bits and/or toppings. Their boba texture is alright and could be a little better. It's on the tougher side, it does require a few extra chews before it breaks down. Could also use a little bit more flavoring as well. The syrup it was sitting in was not strong enough to seep through, you can taste the sweet syrup mixture it was sitting in slightly on the outside and the inside is extremely bland. Tea flavor is there. Both milk tea and fruit tea, the tea shines through. They current bottle is a corgi design with pink accents, maybe for Valentines.

Saphir S.

Yelp
Some of the best boba I have had in a long time! I was impressed by the large menu with plenty of options (I had such a hard time picking). Ultimately, I went with a taro milk tea, green tea hokkaido, and guava lava fruit tea. I love that you can adjust how much sweetness is in your tea. I personally did 75% sweet on my taro milk tea, but could have done even less. The guava lava fruit tea was our favorite and it had actual chunks of lychee in it - so delicious!

Diana C.

Yelp
My favorite fruit drink from here: The Vanessa (Lychee and Peach flavored Green Tea with Lychee bits & Strawberries) with Basil Seeds. It's rare for a tea shop to offer basil seeds as a topping, so I really appreciate them for this!

Jessica G.

Yelp
Good boba teas! Good fast service. Flavors are good. My kids like going here. Cups are super cute!!

Jelly B.

Yelp
I was looking for a good dessert place to go after dinner and I stumbled across tea brick, which had a very dark environment, which was cool because it was hot outside. A lack of someone at the cashier was present, but most likely due to their digital ordering system, I ordered the fresh avocado smoothie which was great! I'm very glad they had fresh and I asked for 25% sweetness and they delivered that perfectly. Will have to come here again.

Tina ..

Yelp
This place is so cute! I love how they use corgis as a mascot. As a fellow corgi owner myself, it really tugs at my heart strings. The boba here was also pretty good but not exactly the best that I've had. I love how they have a self service kiosk where you can order from. I prefer that over ordering with a person. They were quick to get my drink to me and the container is pretty sturdy and good quality.

Erik G.

Yelp
We came here as this place had pretty good reviews on Yelp. If you are walking by..it is easy to miss especially if you are using the GPS. Its a very small shop with some seats to sit down and enjoy your milk tea. The vibe inside with the wooden panels on the wall gave off a cabin like feel. That's just my personal opinion. Seems like they need to update the interior. Anyways, I really enjoyed using a self-service machine to order the milk tea. I salute the business for making ordering fast, efficient and convenient. My wife enjoyed her Milk Tea. I ordered the Horchata Milk Tea which is good, but too sugary. I would recommend sharing it if you need don't want to max out your sugar intake for the week. I would come back to try other Milk Teas.

Elena C.

Yelp
Perfect balance between tea, milk, sweetness and boba! The tea is thick but it's not that thick that you can 'bite' it, with the right amount of milk that does not dilute the strong tea flavor, and sweet enough to be a treat but not too sweet that it becomes a dessert. Loving the boba, you can eat them on it's own as a treat. The chewiest boba i've ever tasted! But it comes at a cost though, if they stick/clumps, then you need a dyson-level sucking power to drink them with a straw. And be mindful that when you finally get them out of the straw, the velocity creates enough splatter to make an impressionist painter proud. I get the idea of having straw hole on the bottle cap, but i think it defeats the purpose of having a bottle. Why do you need to screw the cap in when it's unusable as a cover (since it has a hole on it)?

Michael L.

Yelp
Boba was okay. Just pretty disappointed to drive all the way here to find out that they had no corgi cups available, only 3-year old cow ones...

Lindsay B.

Yelp
This was our first time trying this place and all of our drinks were really good. We tried several of their drinks. We tried: Peachee Lychee tea Dragon Ball Thai Tea Almond Milk Tea Nutella Snow Milk Cookies and Cream Milk Shake The drinks are fairly priced and you can get a cute cup! Seriously, every single one of our drinks was good. The boba was also made perfect. The service was good. For being busy and having to make a lot of drinks, we didn't have to wait too long. The inside of the place is nice and there's places to sit. There's parking in the back and also there's a parking garage.

Sammyo 6.

Yelp
They have a lot of great clean tea options with real fruit. Slushes that aren't too sweet with sugar. You won't get sugared out here.

Christine J.

Yelp
This Tea Brick location is always on point. I always order the same brown sugar milk tea with 25% sweetness and the boba is delicious. This drink is a little on the sweeter end, but it hits every time. The service is a bit slow, but the quality and cute cups add to the experience. There is plenty of parking right behind and in the garage. The ambiance is very relaxed, but it feels like no one really stays to socialize after getting a drink. They have a huge selection of all kinds of drinks, and even a top 10 drinks selection.

Danny F.

Yelp
I really don't understand the craz of tea houses. This one isn't any special. It tastes the same. It's in a crammed plaza with other restaurants. Parking isn't easy. Underground parking is available but it's sketchy, dark, and dirty. The place is a long rectangle with a couple of tables. They have curtains over the counter to cover what's behind the counter and how they make their products. That's sketchy to me. It's boba tea. It's okay. Nothing special. So they dress it up by putting it in a cylinder bottle with some cartoon on it.

Tiff A.

Yelp
Small tea shop, but the drinks options and the cute cups had me excited to give this place a try. We walked in and were greeted by a young gal behind the glass. This is an oblong shop, so maybe that's why the decor is at its bare minimal. This place definitely has been around for a while and could use a little of upgrading. The lady who took our order was super friendly. We had the guava, mango, and the brown sugar oolong milk tea. All the drinks were really good. Overall, I would come back but, this is not a hang out place. It's super dark and not as inviting as some of the boba places I've been too.

Jonathan N.

Yelp
Came here after a long day of studying with a friend for some late night tea. I ordered the almond milk tea and my friend just ordered the regular milk tea and both teas were definitely delicious. The bottle it comes in is also very cute and worth reusing at home for other drinks. Definitely will be coming back for some more in the future.

Emilee L.

Yelp
Everything tastes good, and this place is actually really homey. It's really cute in here, and the drink containers are what makes this place unique from other boba places.

Nicole K.

Yelp
Unfortunately only good thing about this place is the cute corgi cups. The bobas were hard and the drink was thick and powdery. Maybe it was just for the almond milk tea but it was disappointing :(.

Linda L.

Yelp
I love all their drinks here, and their cups are always so cute. This is a great place to hang out with a small group of friends. The popcorn chicken comes out piping hot and crispy with sweet and sour sauce. There's plenty of parking at the back lot and in the underground garage. PS: You need to ask the staff at the front door for the bathroom key.

Marvin Y.

Yelp
went for the cups, stayed for the boba. Ordering kiosk is weird...too many options creating an unnecessary line.

Helen Y.

Yelp
I got their brick tea and a brick bread. The wait was longer then I would have liked. There were 2 groups that ordered after I did and they got their orders before me. The brick tea is simply like a milk tea. Cup that it came in is super cute and reusable. Brick bread was more then I expected. Brick bread was soft in the middle and crispy on the outside. Very good by itself. To my surprise, it came with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream with mango and strawberries. I would come back just for their brick bread...Nutella next time. Space is tight and the order and pickup was super crowded. They had people coming in continuously.

AJ Ajdah G.

Yelp
I was browsing through the many boba spots in Monterey Park, hoping to try a new place and the boba cups here caught my attention! I ordered the Christine Tea (lol) and the jasmine green tea. Christine tea was really refreshing! I got mine with 50% sweetness level which wasn't too sweet and I loved the jelly pieces. Jasmine green tea was okay. I got it with 100% sweetness and I don't know why, but the milk was just not a good mix. Couldn't really taste the tea much. I also tried the popcorn chicken which was a hit! Overall, service was very fast during lunch time on a weekday and the ambiance is very boba cafe with a good amount of tables and seating. Plentiful parking in the structure of the plaza.

Angela C.

Yelp
The family had a craving for some cold drinks so we walked over to Tea Brick. My hubby really likes the drinks here, but I'm not impressed. Maybe it was the drink I selected (the Dragon Ball), but it was extremely bitter and even though there were fresh mango bits in the drink, they were cut up in such large chunks that they wouldn't go up the straw, so I couldn't enjoy it. I actually contemplated tossing it as I walked out the shop, but decided I could go home and add something else to it to make it taste better (maybe lemonade or a juice of some kind). Kids thought their taro milk tea was fine, nothing special compared to other tea shops. On the plus side, they have two sizes of cups, the bigger one is a reusable screw top lid container with cute cartoon corgis on there. With so many other great boba shops out there, I'd skip this place and head somewhere else.

Michi L.

Yelp
Tea Brick is good option for milk tea, especially if you went to Mama Lu's, in the same plaza. The service is good. I've been several times and also have ordered to go through the app. I've had several of their drinks and I've liked all of them. I have to get them less sweet. I've tried the Matchamisu, Hokkaido milk tea, almond milk tea. The last time I had their boba, it was ok. The texture was a bit too chewy and it got stuck in the straw. The bottles are cute but it is an extra charge. The location is a good place to hang out though since there is a good amount of seating.

Ace K.

Yelp
I decided to get some milk tea from Tea Brick, and settled on a milk tea that includes ice cream: the Rich Creamy and Stingy Milk Tea! This milk tea lives up to the name in full; the tea had a deep, rich flavor. The ice cream provides the full creamy flavor that adds another great flavor to the milk tea. While the stingy does sound odd, it makes you stingy in wanting to share this milk tea as it's that delicious! The boba was also a good part of the milk tea, with it being chewy and flavorful. The service was fast and straightforward. Seating is decent for this small place, but if you go with a large party, you might not have a lot of room. Overall, Tea Brick has some outstanding milk tea, with the Rich, Creamy and Stingy Milk Tea being a top choice!

Kelly C.

Yelp
It's pretty good! I got lychee, green tea, lychee jelly and strawberry bits. HOWEVER...the green tea was too strong. It was stronger than all the bobas with green tea I drank. Each sip was either ok or was really bitter to the point it's like the bitterness of medicine. I don't know if I want to come back, no one likes bitter boba. My friend also got the same thing as me and has the same feelings. She even stopped drinking and went "It's too bitter, I think I wanna stop drinking this." Yeah...it's terrible but everything else is good. Wish there was an option to choose the strength or amount of green tea, I don't like it strong. I prefer it to be light, in the background or medium strength is ok. I hate that it overpowers everything else. Service was fast and place looks alright. Edit: No it's making me dizzy and want to vomit. I drank it while I was in the car and was getting motion sickness which I don't usually get. Edit again: I threw up...the green tea was too strong for me mixed with motion sickness :(

Shelley Y.

Yelp
Decided to try a new bubble tea spot outside of my usual (Sunright) and was not disappointed. I ordered the rose green milk tea, half sweet, light ice with pudding. I'm always looking for a good rose milk tea that isn't overpowering and Tea Brick provided just that! The pudding adds extra sweetness - just something to keep in mind if you don't want your drink to be too sweet! For a little extra, you can get a cute cup (plastic). I went in a Sunday evening around 7pm and it wasn't busy. There is a free underground parking garage for the shopping center.

Ly C.

Yelp
Went with a friend on a Friday night to try Tea Brick and had a pleasant experience. There isn't much seating inside due to the small space, but it is a cozy bubble tea shop. There wasn't much staff interaction since we ordered on the self serve kiosk, but we received our order in a timely manner. My friend ordered the honeydew milk tea and I ordered the love at first sight drink which came in cups adorned with super cute corgis. We were satisfied with the quality of our drinks and I enjoyed mine so much that I ordered a second love at first sight to go. We also tried the popcorn chicken which was not just juicy and tender, but also well seasoned. It was flavorful even without needing to use the dipping sauce. I would recommend this boba shop to others and will be coming back!

Thae M.

Yelp
If you like tea, this is a place. You will get fresh, organic, fruity, aromatic taste. The bottle were plus. Nice little place to hang with quality tea. Price is right, and aervic is excellent. You can substitute items in your tea with no extra charge. The only thing I would suggest the owner is that it'll be nice to have different colors lidsfor the bottle. My son wasn't too happy with the pink cap. Overall, this is a must try place.

Ana T.

Yelp
Tea Brick has the cutest corgi bottles! They change designs from time to time so you can get a collection of them. You can get the bottles for a little extra $ but you can also choose the regular cups. Their parking lots are easily filled up but you can go into the parking structure for more lots. I ordered the almond matchamisu milk tea. It tasted a little funny when it's cold with an overpowering almond milk taste. It was better when warmed up.

Liliana C.

Yelp
Is The Vanessa seriously one of their Top 10?? It's basically green tea with lychee and strawberry bits and it was way too bitter for some reason.. maybe due to over-brewing or something :/ my throat would become dry after each sip plus lychee bits scratching my throat... they were super unsatisfying to swallow, had some hard parts stuck on it from the seed. Overall, wasn't an enjoyable drink and wouldn't recommend!

Bowen Y.

Yelp
The food was good! The service was also good, it did take a while for the food to be out and served but that's understandable. It was a bit small in there but that doesn't really matter that much.

Jenny T.

Yelp
My friend and I stopped here on a Saturday afternoon for a milk tea pick-me-up. The shop is a little small but pretty cute inside especially with the corgi painting. I got the standard black milk tea with boba at about 25% sweetness. The milk tea was as expected and the right level of sweetness to me. It wasn't busy when we arrived and were able to order shortly after walking in. Our drinks were out quickly after ordering. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area and want some tea.

Chris P.

Yelp
Living in the area for 3 years now and I just barely discovered Tea Brick. Great flavor, and customer service. Nice to have the kiosk as well. The boba is quality and reminds me of how good Labobatory was. It's my go to boba spot from now on.

Anita m.

Yelp
Love this place! The variety of drinks they have here is refreshing. There's a good mix of teas, milk teas, and fruit teas. My kids absolutely love the soda bomb which is a fruit syrup, fruit bits, mixed with 7up and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Sometimes I walk in not sure what I want but they have a "top 10" or "employee favorites" board that is continuously updated and helps me make my choice. You can't go wrong with your choices here. Parking is in the back or street park in the front. The inside is a bit disjointed and no place to wait if there are a patrons inside at the tables.

Connie L.

Yelp
I like their boba drinks, though it tends to be on the sweeter side so I always order it 75% sweet & it is still sweet to me. I am a boba lover so the boba texture is a huge determining factor of if I like this boba spot or not. If serve soft mushy boba, I am not coming back. Boba should compliment the drink. I hate overcooked or soft boba. I am a chewy boba type. The boba here is chewy & bouncy. Just how I like it. Their popcorn chicken ain't a hit for me. I prefer popcorn chicken at quickly's cause it's dark meat, has some fat in the meat, moist, and has a good crunch. The popcorn chicken here is straight up white meat so it's of course dry when fried. Not a fan. This is my preference.

Anna L.

Yelp
I had the girlfriend tea. Which is the fresh grapefruit with honey lemon tea ..it took me a minute to get accumulated with. But you can tell they use fresh grapefruit juice though. It wasn't as sweet which I like. The interior was not what I expected. Overall they have a lot of selections and I would go back and try more flavors!

Shannon F.

Yelp
Green milk tea with boba, half sweet (7/10, still yummy, just more on the milky and sweet side!) Rose green milk tea with basil seeds and 0 sweet (10/10, still had sweetness due to rose syrup, but also very creamy and fragrant flavor!) There is free parking behind the restaurant! Super easy to park, pick up, and go!
