a very clean tea shop that seems to favor a modern aesthetic. sells a variety of teaware and teas sourced primarily from china, japan, and korea. it’s definitely on the higher end price-wise. the staff also seems to be fairly hands-off and only approach you to help if you have questions, which is suitable for people who prefer to be left alone while shopping. i do wish there were samples of the tea to at least smell them, but i can also understand that may not be suitable for teas this high-quality. they have some nice gift options as well.

Tea Dealers was our last tea shop to visit for the day. It was quiet and a nice calming breathing area compared to many other busy shops. The urban type interior is a bit stiff but clean and well thought out. The lady behind the counter was very kind and it was a lot of fun talking to her about different teas.

This place is exactly what I was looking for. It is extremely hard to find good matcha. The teas I secured from the shop are glorious! Each has a unique profile. The shop owner was very attentive and patient. Been ordering from there ever since.

This shop is one of my absolute favorites (and one of the best) in New York City. They offer a diverse selection of teas from around the world, and the quality is unparalleled—I've never found better anywhere else. It's the only place I can imagine buying tea at this point. Their selection of ceramics and tea ware is also exceptionally curated, featuring some of the finest artists and makers. The design of the space, down to the packaging, is impeccable and makes for perfect gifts, especially for those hard-to-shop-for individuals. As a long-time customer, I’m thrilled with their new Tribeca location—it’s a must-visit if you're in the area. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly - always willing to answer my questions while continuing to introduce me to new things! There’s something for everyone here and it’s a great place to start or elevate your tea journey!

I do not like writing bad reviews, especially for new small businesses however I spent $45 for a bag of my favorite tea. It’s only 1.8 ounces. I thought it was going to be very special and it has no flavor no smokiness it’s extremely disappointing. I went back to the shop. I brought them a jar of the tea that I’ve been using to smell the difference. There has no smell. Mine smells exactly like fresh Lapsang tea.. I will say that the shop is beautiful and all of their tea pots and cups are absolutely gorgeous however, the fact that they don’t stand behind their product and have very poor customer service is quite troubling…wanting to support a new small business in TriBeCa and being a life long tea drinker… in good faith that the tea would be VERY special, I plunked down 45.00 for a bag of tea that per their bags recipe would make 8 cups of tea…and the tea was weak, not smoky and extremely disappointing… I wish them all the best and even if they wouldn’t do a refund, were willing to exchange it for a more potent flavorful tea… I would not have written this review…alas buyer beware

The staff at Jungsik recommended this tea shop so we checked it out. They have a good selection of teas and helpful/knowledgeable employees!

Great tea and the owner spent a lot of time with me to help me learn about tea preparation and chose the right type of tea. The price range varies - even though the quantities are small you can re-steep.
