Google
I got the pumpkin spiced boba since it was a holiday special item. Actually pretty good! I have never seen pumpkin spiced boba before but I thought it was a unique combo. I got it with the lowest amount of sugar possible, which was 30%. That was still pretty sweet, so I wouldn’t get it with a higher amount. They have a lot of unique combos and flavors here.

Google
Very inexpensive and high quality boba spot. The shop is clean and the service is quick. I highly recommend getting the 50% sugar for drinks. Overall great spot to get solid boba for less than $5

Follow me on Instagram for more reviews! @hopeless_ramen_tic 📍 Tea-Do - Philadelphia, PA ⭐️⭐️⭐️½ Drinks: Taro Milk Bubble Tea (70% sweet) – A solid taro milk tea—better than average, but not quite on the level of the best ones I’ve had. – Still pretty sweet at 70%; I probably would have preferred it at 50%. – The boba was cooked well, though I personally would have liked them to be slightly firmer. Tiramisu Milk Bubble Tea (70% sweet) – A unique flavor with a strong coffee base and some subtle additional notes. – Also on the sweeter side—50% sweet would have been a better choice. My boyfriend, Jonathan, and I stopped by after our dinner at Chubby Nori because we can never resist boba. He used to come here when he lived in the area, so we wanted to check it out together. Tea Do has a large selection of flavors and is a solid spot for bubble tea, but it leans on the sweeter side. We would have preferred our drinks with even less sweetness, but overall, they were enjoyable. If you’re in the area, it’s worth stopping by to try one of their many unique flavors. Google
I've been coming to Tea Do for quite a long time it's definitely a top boba stop in the city! I love the amount of customization available it nice to be able to try all different flavors and combination while also being able to go with the tried and true!

Google
Great cafe style vibes, great milk tea, great staff, this is always a solid choice for boba in Philly China town

Google
I had a decent experience here and would recommend to folks looking to get boba in Chinatown. I paid just over $6 for a large black milk tea w/ boba which I thought was a good deal compared to other places. They were busy but quick too. They have an extensive menu and I’m sure there’s something for everyone. My only qualm with the drink is that it was SO sweet—and I have a major sweet tooth. I think I still have heart burn from drinking it. I’m not sure if they have an option yo adjust sugar levels but next time I go, I’ll have to ask. Nevertheless, I shall return!

Google
I love it here! When I’m visiting a new area I like to check out everything it has to offer, and Chinatown has many different bubble tea shops. Tea-Do was among the first I visited, so it was a good comparison to others in the area… and I just found myself returning here again and again! The staff is so friendly and I love the atmosphere. I’ve lived all around the country and have gone to so many bubble tea shops, but this is one of my all-time favorites. Of all the takoyaki I’ve tried, they have the best I’ve ever had! I’ve gone so many times that the staff knows my order when I walk in, haha. Thank you guys for being the coolest. Signed, that dude who always orders thai tea with pudding and takoyaki :)

Google
Read great reviews online, so I thought I'd give it a try. We ordered the Tiger Milk Tea and thoroughly enjoyed it. The drink had the right amount of tea flavor and sweetness. I had a nine year-old with me that rated the drink a 9.5/10. She said less ice would have made it a 10! LOL

Yelp
The tea was good, though perhaps on the sweeter side (I ordered the lowest sugar option). The boba was perfect! We just stopped in quickly for to go orders but the server took our order as we were a bit confused by the order screens. There's lots of places to sit and drink your tea if you prefer and it seemed pretty clean and spacious.

Yelp
Got some excellent onigiri here! Open late on weekends. Great place to stop in for a small bite to eat.

Yelp
I ordered the rose milk tea and honey green tea - both drinks were ok but the tapioca pearls were really good! My cup teared apart when I poke my straw in and they were sweet enough to make another one for me. Would recommend if you need a quick bubbletea fix!

Yelp
Nice refreshing tea, I got the grasshopper tea which is a TeaDo special and it came out well.

Yelp
Teado is a favorite of mine. The Hulk is my go-to drink. It's sweet and refreshing, and the aloe jelly adds the most satisfying crunch. But I can never leave without grabbing an onigiri. They're only around $4 and always fresh. The salmon and shrimp tempura are my top picks. Perfect bite-sized snack or meal on the go. They also play the best music and the vibe is always great. There's seating, bathrooms, and WiFi, which makes it an easy place to hang out or take a break. The staff is friendly and service is quick every time.

Yelp
This is the OG boba spot of the city. I remember coming here quite frequently a few years back but eventually it fell off my radar because I wanted to try other places etc. Over the years I have tried many flavors including Taro, Thai tea, Sakura rose etc and their quality of flavors and boba has always been consistent. I got the premium jasmine milk tea, which is just 25 cents more than the normal jasmine tea, so why not. I haven't seen the Jasmine flavor offered at many places so I was super excited about it. It is so refreshing and I am glad it is only mildly sweetened. The sesame is interesting if you like the flavor (not for me but my husband loves it). It reminded me of sesame sweets and I am not a big fan of those.

Yelp
Interesting bubble tea shop in Chinatown. It was pretty busy for a Saturday night. They have a lot of seats and some games. We got Sakura Rose Milk Tea. They were very quick with our orders. They have a machine that shakes the teas as well as seals the tea bottles. The boba bubbles were amazing. I really felt like the rose milk with sugar was the perfect amount of sweetness. It is cool that you have the option of adjusting the sweet content of the bubble teas.

Yelp
Have been here multiple times as a customer. This time I just really needed to use the bathroom since pregnant ladies gotta go often, so I'm thankful they didn't require me to purchase an item first like Paris Baguette further down Chinatown. They also allowed me to refill my reusable water bottle with water. Thank you for being one of the few businesses in Chinatown that have a heart.

Yelp
This is a great boba place to try when in Chinatown in Philly. We love going here and also ordering on Uber Eats when we get a craving and can't leave the house! I do enjoy that there are dairy-free options with the bubble tea, including our favorite which is the Green Coconut Milk Tea with tapioca boba. It's perfect even when you get it with little sugar since the milk is sweet enough already. They also have great kimbap which we get through Uber eats such as the Kenshin and tempura shrimp that are favorites in our house! The prices are reasonable and the teas are amazing!

Yelp
Was in town for the first time in a few years and was happy to see that this place was still around. Had a fond memory of enjoying drinks here while exploring Chinatown, and got a milk tea on the way to a nearby market. The flavor is nice and the service is quick. I had taken a picture of a drink I got several years ago and it seemed they still had the same item on the menu, and it was as good as I remember.

Yelp
Possibly my favorite go-to spot in Chinatown for a boba fix. They have an extensive drink menu with great options - definitely recommend the strawberry milk with boba. The takoyaki and other food items are surprisingly good and the service is efficient. Lots of seats with some Jenga so a great hang-out spot to catch up with friends!

Yelp
I got a chance to try two Tea Do locations in Philly while I was here - this one being first, and, unfortunately, worse than the other. We ordered: Green Coconut Milk Tea with Boba (3/5), Thai Tea with Boba (3/5) I will say that what's great about this menu is how big it is, and you'll probably be able to find your go-to drink here as well as a ton of other options if you want to try something different. I'm a big coconut milk tea person, but this 'Green Coconut' drink caught my eye. I asked if it was a green tea based drink, but the person at the counter told me that it was actually a coconut milk tea that was made with a younger coconut, which meant that it would be sweeter and creamier. That sounded great to me, so I went ahead and tried it. This is absolutely NOT a creamier drink. I actually found it to be on the watery side, with these random punches of bitterness scattered throughout the drinking experience. What I will say is this boba had a pretty memorable flavor. Texture wise it was a bit too soft for my taste, but I appreciated that it had this sugaryness to them so it didn't just taste like biting plastic. It's also hard to deny the price - coming from NYC, we're so used to $7+ boba, so to get $5-6 boba meant so much to me. We got to try a few more drinks at the other location that may have skewed this, but in general I'd say the University Place location was higher quality than this one.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place while walking around Chinatown Philly. We were craving boba, so we decided to check this place out because of the good yelp reviews. The shop reminds me of a boba shop you'd go to after class in high school or college. There's plenty of seating available, boba are priced sort of cheaper, and they serve snacks and everyone behind the counter was super young. As far as quality of boba drinks, I think this place fell short. If I was still in high school, I probably wouldn't mind this place. Now the boba game has evolved, and there's definitely better places around. We didn't try the snacks, but the selection looked fun and paired well with boba. Overall, I wouldn't necessarily hurry to come back here. Like I said, there's better places and i'd rather consume the calories elsewhere.

Beeg R.

Yelp
Nice selection. Clean and nice ambient. Tables available. They didn't ask sugar level, so make sure to tell them your desired level of sugar.

Yelp
This is my favorite bubble tea spot in Philly. "First Love Tea" is my go-to drink when I'm down in Philly. Their drinks are pretty good. My friend always try to order different drinks to try out. The service is quick and they are very professional. They have amazing rice balls and appetizers. Our favorite rice balls is spam and Kenshin which has kani and seaweed in it. It is so yummy!

Yelp
Yeah, this is a very average Milk Tea place in Philly's Chinatown. Came here to honor my boy Do Kyungsoo. It reminds me of milk tea spots like T4, RareTea, & Coco in terms of quality. Decent, but nothing to write home about. I had the Pandan milk tea and it was alright. It was a bit watery, and you could tell that they were using some sort of syrup for flavoring and not real Pandan. It was still pretty tasty tho, and the boba was good. Admittedly, their menu was quite extensive. The fact that they had Pandan milk tea was already a plus for me. Good times..

Yelp
I came by with a friend on a Thursday afternoon. Wasn't very busy and the service was fast. I ordered a Thai Tea smoothie with boba, which came out to around $7. There is only one size available for this. Thai Tea Smoothie with Boba: 9/10 It was exactly what I wanted. The Thai tea flavor came strong and similar to the tea I got from Thailand. The boba was chewy and soft. Remember to stir the boba..Take this as a reminder from someone who made the rash decision of taking a sip without stirring. I recommend getting the Thai tea smoothie with boba if you enjoy Thai tea and will be in the area.

Yelp
Well my teen son liked it so much we can on two different days during our visit. The strawberry milk tea, strawberry with mango popping bubbles and the smoothies were all tasty.

Yelp
My favorite boba spot! It opened while I was in college and has had a special place in my heart ever since. The Tropical Twister and regular milk tea with boba are my go-tos. Pretty sure I came here on a weekly basis back then haha and it was a common spot my friends and sorority sisters would visit regularly. They also had Jenga and other games to play back then - not sure if those are still around now. There are a few tables inside to sit down at for a bit as well.
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
I got the peach patch, the peach tea with popping boba which was refreshing. The service was good as well, but I've had much better boba places so I rate this place three stars.
google avatar

Spencer W.

Yelp
Great place to hangout. quick service. I'm a fan of working here as they have a friendly staff and wifi and outlet =) which believe it or not is hard to come by in philly despite all the coffee shops
google avatar

Yelp
There were so many reviews of this spot so I was hopeful it would be super tasty! I got an oolong milk tea, as I usually do, and it was just alright. The oolong flavor wasn't too strong so I mostly just tasted sugar. Very popular spot when we went on a Sunday, lots of people sitting inside and it took like 15mins to get our order of four drinks. Cool that they have food too (we didn't have any). Lots of inside seating to hang out.
google avatar

Sandy D.

Yelp
This place really hits the spot on a hot sunny day! Located in a nice corner of Chinatown, you can't miss this store. The place was pretty spacious, with several workers operating the counter area. We shared a Tropical Twister ($6) and really doused it in a couple seconds. I love that the drink came prefixed with lychee jelly. The drink gave me flashbacks of Yaya's drinks back home in NYC. The mango taste is strong! Fruit tea really does wonders when it's sweltering out. It was on the sweeter side, but drinkable. I would totally come back for their other options, as all their drink names sound appealing!

Yelp
Mouthwatering deliciousness. Visited Philly for 2 days (Covid times) and on both days, I stopped by for Tea Do. I ordered the Honey Jazz and the Sakura Rose Milk tea both in medium sizes. The Honey Jazz was super refreshing on a hot day. It absolutely quenched my thirst. Love that I was able to adjust the sugar level and the ice level as well. I got 50% less sugar and less ice for both of my drinks and they were the perfect amount of sweetness for me. The place is a bit small but it wasn't too crowded the first night when I went. When I went in the afternoon the next day, it was a bit more crowded and the AC wasn't working so it was really really really hot inside. I nearly sprinted out the store after grabbing my drink. The employees were wearing masks and were quick and efficient with taking orders as well as making them! Overall very satisfied with the service and the mouthwatering drinks!

Alexis

Yelp
I've been coming here for almost a decade (before they had food items), but I was really disappointed during my recent visit. The place was filthy--napkin holders were covered in grime, with food particles actually inside them. The floors looked like they hadn't been cleaned EVER, based of the tables were gross, and there was sauce splattered on both the floor and walls. It feels like the space hasn't had a proper deep clean in a long time. Really unfortunate to see it decline like this.
google avatar

Ellen C.

Yelp
This is a go to stop for me whenever I am in Chinatown. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the teas are delicious. You can adjust the sugar and ice ratios and they have a variety of boba and jelly. The milk teas have a dairy free option. We had strawberry green tea, one with boba, one with jelly. A nice cold pick me up on a hot day in Philly.
google avatar

Christina M.

Yelp
Excellent place for whatever specialty drink you desire! So many choices, and their pricing is very reasonable compared to other places. This will be our go-to boba place when we are in Philly
google avatar

Shirley Z.

Yelp
I wanted to like this place, I really did. My first time here, I ordered the mango smoothie and my friend ordered taro milk tea. The smoothie tasted like soap and had weird chunks in it that wasn't mango or lychee. The taro milk tea tasted fake and was inundated with weird powder texture, and was way too sweet. Nevertheless, I stopped by today to give it a second chance. I ordered takoyaki and a regular hot black milk tea with tapioca. It was by the far the worst bubble tea I've EVER had. Every sip had bits of tea fragments, and it was impossible to drink without almost choking on the tea leaves. The tea itself also tasted super bland, like brewed black tea with milk and nothing added to it. This alone made me infuriated because... well, how can you open a bubble tea shop and mess up on a classic black milk tea?? In other words, I'm never coming back. Thanks for the disappointment.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Located right in the heart of Philly's chinatown, Tea Do was bustling with customers on a Saturday afternoon. Their tapioca boba was on point! Perfectly chewy and sweet. Their milk tea, on the other hand, was bland and warm. Seems they couldn't quite get the ice to tea to milk ratio right.
google avatar

Crystale Y.

Yelp
I was craving boba so I decided to come here seeing it was one of the more popular boba places in the area. This place is super busy and was packed when I got here. We got the sakura rose milk tea and the mango green tea. Both drinks were really good but I could do with less sugar next time. The boba and jelly had a nice texture so no complaints there! There's also tables to dine in and Jenga if you want to sit down and hang out with some friends. Overall, it's a cute boba shop and staff was friendly!
google avatar

Yelp
You'll never understand all the Boba shops like WE DO You can see all the Boba, but can the Boba SEE YOU You can be a Merekat, an Ocelot, or even a Boba EMU But for Boba in Chinatown Philly you come to TEA DO If the Boba gets touchy feely will you hashtag ME TOO If the Boba makes you sick will you and Boba BE THROUGH If you're drinking Boba in jail, will Boba FREE YOU And if you're in Philly, will you come and drink at TEA DO? Anyway, now I have to hit the restroom for a PEE/POO If you hate this rap, just ask me for a RE-DO BYE. My notes said - nice tea do with incredibly friendly ppl, good milk tea, drank most of it, nice and creamy, like your ma last night I love Tea Do, and this is a great location with good service. This is an excellent bubble tea shop that is open late night in the heart of Chinatown Philadelphia. It's one of my favuorite spots for a good milk tea, and the fruit teas are pretty good too, here. They also have lovely service, and the decor is basic and old-building-style and very similar to the location in Boston (and some of the other Chinatown Boba), which I think this place is modeled very similarly after. It's not quite as busy or popular as the Boston one, but it's still a great place. The tea was good and creamy, and as I said, the service was definitely nice. They will make off menu drinks which a lot of people won't do, especially in Chinatown. They're insanely friendly. I really have nothing but great things to say about Tea Do. As an added bonus they are open late and they have a bathroom as well. In conclusion, one of my favorite bubble tea shops in Philadelphia and well worthy of five stars. The best things in life are not free And especially not in Philly Pat's/Geno's Steak Sandwich Is really just spam, which Belongs in e-mails, not in me No, I hit Philly regularly Not for relics from a past century Nor for a Cheez-Whiz sandwich For I am a man which Is in love with Tea Do Bubble Tea!

Yelp
This place has always been my go to in Chinatown. Parking in the city sucks but if you want to pay $10-$12 you can park across the street for multiple hours. It's not a huge bubble tea spot, but it's definitely a place where most teenagers go to get their fix of bubble tea. Almost everything here is delicious, from their milk teas to their fruity and coffee drinks. They even have onigiris and other foods that they offer. Drinks: I personally love the black milk tea with bubbles. I prefer more sugar than 50%, so next time I would go 70%. It's always very milky and sweet with a good tea flavor. I also really love their avacado smoothies because it really refreshing and filling. Great fats. Everyone has their own preferences, so I would tell you to try anything on the menu.

Yelp
The bubble tea we had from Tea Do was good. We enjoyed it. One of our friends, who currently lives in Philly, brought us here. It was a good choice. Another one of our friends, who used to live in Philly, considers this Philly's first "legit" bubble tea place. It opened in 2012. It's located in Chinatown, just one block north of Friendship Gate: https://www.yelp.com/biz/chinatown-friendship-gate-philadelphia. Outside, the corner storefront has a cool mural of a dragon. Inside, the place was packed. Almost every seat was taken - and this was on a Sunday night around 8:10pm. Like a lot of bubble tea shops, Tea Do isn't big, but it does have seating. There are a handful of high tables and low/coffee tables. Several years old now, there's nothing too remarkable about the interior. The menu is sizable with over 76 drinks to choose from. They include Tea Do specialties (special drinks unique to this brand), smoothies, milk bubble tea, popping bubble drinks, green tea drinks, black tea drinks, and aloe vera drinks. All drinks come in regular and large sizes. Most specialties and smoothies run $4.25 each for regular and $5.25 each for large, milk teas $3.50 regular / $4.50 large, and other drinks $3.75 regular / $4.75 large. There are 17 topping options and 16 of them cost $0.50 each (white pearl jelly is $0.75). In addition to the regular menu, there was a blackboard menu on the counter. During our visit, it advertised Tiger milk tea, winter melon green tea, Johnny tea, and chrysanthemum tea plus apple and yogurt popping boba and almond milk substitute. There was no description of the Tiger and Johnny teas, so you'd have to ask the staff. I tried three drinks: * Grasshopper (large, $5.25) * Taro bubble milk tea (large, $4.50) * Oolong bubble milk tea (regular, $3.75) I enjoyed all the drinks and would recommend all three of them. Across the board, I thought the tea and topping quality was good. Good tea flavor and fresh, appetizing toppings with ideal textures. The Grasshopper was different than what I'm used to (I usually order milk bubble teas). The Grasshopper is made with green tea, green apple, pear, green tea jelly, and lychee jelly. The drink was mildly sweet, a little bit tart, ice cold, and very refreshing. It hit the spot for me. I think my fiancee liked it the best of the drinks we ordered. The taro bubble milk tea and the oolong bubble milk tea were both solid. No complaints here. Both drinks had a smooth, non-powdery consistency with nice flavor and ideal sweetness (for me). The boba was excellent; soft and delectably chewy. Service was fine. The apathetic cashier could've been friendlier. He didn't have a great attitude. If we didn't tell him what size we wanted our drinks, he would've made them all large. He didn't ask us what sizes we wanted. Our order was filled quick. According to Tea Do's website, this location in Philly is the first location. There are six other locations in the Northeast including one in Boston Chinatown: https://www.teadocafe.com/locations-1. TL;DR - Tea Do is good.

Yelp
- Stopped by and got the honey jasmine tea - I usually prefer teas on the sweeter side and this was even considered sweet for me - Tried the sakura rose milk tea as well but didn't like the flavour - Couple of high top tables available and a couch for large groups near the door - Bathroom at the back

Yelp
I was craving boba and saw this place on Yelp and wanted to give it a try. I ordered the Thai Coconut milk tea and it was my first time ever trying that drink and it was AMAZING. It wasn't too sweet and the coconut flavor wasn't too strong either. I would say it tastes like a milky version of a Thai coconut. I hope I can find another place that sells this drink back home.

Yelp
Going to start off by saying I grew up on Orange County boba/bubble tea, so my standards are skewed (I'm giving them 4 stars given this acknowledgment). Nonetheless, the drinks here weren't bad (at least the one I had). This TeaDo location is nicely situated in Chinatown. The space is kind of cramped because they seemingly tried to get as much seating in for studying/hanging out, but it's comfy and welcoming. It's kinda dim and loud; there are board games available. Service is solid. I got their Sakura rose milk tea with boba. The boba was pretty decent in consistency and taste. The milk tea itself wasn't bad, but I wasn't blown away. I liked how many options there were, though! It seemed like their menu was well curated with both the safe go-to flavors and some more unique ones. What I enjoyed the most was their food menu! I wasn't very hungry coming in, so I just tried their takoyaki, which didn't disappoint. Overall a really solid place to go for drinks and snacks! Would definitely come back here if I lived in the city and wanted to grab a bite and boba in a social setting.

Yelp
My go-to spot for treating myself. I usually order the oolong milk tea with boba and 30% sugar. Service is quick. Accepts cash/card. My husband wanted to try something he has never had here before so he ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee. Definitely does not taste authentic as the coffee tasted a bit watered down and isn't as strong. Next time we will stick to just the teas.
google avatar

Otto L.

Yelp
Drinks might be arguably good, but the service is something to be desired. Under $5 is cash only. Some staff is chit chatting with friends, and others are taking their time taking orders. I will try other boba places before coming back to this one in Chinatown
google avatar

Cherie C.

Yelp
I'm working my way through tea shops in Chinatown, trying to find my favorite. Tea Do was buzzing when I stopped in. Got oolong with boba for my husband and Vietnamese iced coffee for me. The coffee was pretty strong. If you're looking for a caffeine kick, I think this will do it! He enjoyed his oolong, though it was very sweet. I look forward to going back and trying the tea myself. They have some snacks that look good, too. I saw a few people ordering those as well, so next time I'll go hungry.

Yelp
I love tea do! There are a bunch of bubble tea shops in Chinatown but teado is my favorite for the Japanese green tea! There was a little wait when I went but not too bad! I got a medium Japanese green tea for $4 and it's my favorite drink to get! This shop also sells dippin dots and they have a pretty vast menu of teas, smoothies, and their specialities. Highly recommend getting the Japanese green tea because it's sweet and flavorful but not chalky. The boba here is also slightly chewy and sweet too.

Yelp
Good place to get bubble tea Service is great when the last time I visited! I have tried Takoyaki and Onigiri, and they are both yummy! Thank you :)
google avatar

Stephanie L.

Yelp
This is in my opinion one of the better bubble tea chains out there! Lots of flavors to choose from and even a couple items on the food menu. I got the mango green tea with egg pudding. I originally asked for mango pudding but they were out. A little light on the topping but overall yummy.

Julie Ying X.

Yelp
I was looking for bubble tea since I was walking around Chinatown. This place had high reviews on Yelp so thought I would check it out. I ordered the Lychee Pop (lychee tea with popping lychee boba). I asked for less sugar and ice. It was still too sweet and still a lot of ice. Also, the place was small so it was hard to tell where the line was and if people were waiting on the line or waiting for their order. There was a bit of a wait for my order. It was okay but I feel like next time I have a craving for bubble tea, I'll go across the street to Vivi.
google avatar

Lucy L.

Yelp
This has always been my go to boba spot. It's fun casual atmosphere with high top seating options. There's games and plenty of boba and snacks options. I love their bobas because the tapioca brown sugar option is sweet and well cooked through. They also have option for white pearl boba which is a great one to add to fruit tea. They got great special drinks like zen awakening which is coffee slushy like and fruit slushies which are my favorites as well. It's located in the heart of Chinatown so it's too convient.

Yelp
Service, 4.5/5: They have good service, but the drinks did that a while to come out which I was confused since we were the only customers in the shop at the time. They were very accommodating with me and my family. Aesthetic/Atmosphere, 5/5: Of course every Tea Do has that dark, club-like theme. There was a cute low table area, which I thought was chill. The space is a decent size too. Food/Drink, 5/5: The drinks are always bomb. Tea Do is one of my favorite bubble tea places and the one in Philly definitely did not disappoint. Pricing, 4/5: It was a bit annoying that there was a $5 minimum for Credit/Debit Card. I personally don't really cash anymore as most people don't. Overall Experience 4.5/5: It was a pretty good experience just like the one in Maryland!

Yelp
I have definitely had better milk tea and a lot of their flavors taste pretty artificial; that being said sometimes that still hits the spot. Very reasonably priced and although it is alwayssss crowded they get drinks out pretty fast. The menu is big, by far the best drink is the Farmers Love, which i believe is a peach rose tea with lychee popping boba. I also like their strawberry and banana milk teas, which do taste pretty artificial but it's still enjoyable if you're in the mood lol

Yelp
Great casual hang out spot. Drinks, smoothies, small food items, high top tables, and a couch! There's usually a line but it moves quickly. The cold display seems to change. I've seen desserts and macarons in the past and now water bottles. The only thing I would avoid is the front seating section. The giant window opens and I've seen it slam shut before with a huge gust of wind. No one was hurt and nothing damaged, just unsettling. I was glad they added tennis balls to the bottom of their high top chairs, when chairs were moved it was like nails on a chalkboard. The drinks are always good with lots of different varieties! My go-to's are the Taro Milk Tea and Hong Kong Coffee (which now comes cold as well at hot!).

Yelp
One of the must try place in Chinatown if you visit Philly for the first time. This place is not my go-to place for teashop, but I will suggest you to try at least once. The reason why is not my go-to place is because their jelly. I personally like the black herbal jelly (smoother & pudding texture), but their jelly was in cube-shape and was chewy/hard texture. I probably will not come back this teashop if I have other options nearby.

Yelp
Good way to end your Philly trip? With some boba! I stopped by with a friend to grab a cold drink on a hot day, and a quick Yelp search later, we were on our way to Tea-Do! I knew I wanted something fruity and cold, so I went with the Large Tropical Twister (~$5.25). It's made with mango, passionfruit, pineapple, and lychee jelly. It was super refreshing and none of the fruits were overpowering the others. I'm usually not a fan of chewing things in my drink, but the lychee jelly was a great touch! Solid boba spot in Philly Chinatown. You will not regret swinging by!
