I visited this tea room yesterday and overall had a really lovely experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and you can tell care goes into the preparation. The lemon raspberry scone was perfectly made — tender, flavorful, and easily one of the highlights. They also offered some gluten-free options, which I appreciated, and had plenty of sugar alternatives available for tea.
Service was wonderful. The servers were friendly, welcoming, and very attentive. Our food came out quickly, and the tea was served nice and hot — exactly how it should be.
That said, it is a bit more expensive than other tea rooms I’ve visited, especially considering the smaller portion sizes. The overall quality of the tableware and serving pieces didn’t quite match the price point. The china cups were plain (part of the fun of tea service is drinking from beautiful floral cups!), and the three-tiered trays were lightweight plastic rather than something more elegant.
The space itself was very clean and decorated nicely, which added to the ambiance. However, the tables were quite close together, and with limited sound-absorbing materials, conversations became loud and the background music was hard to hear. There were green dividers in some sections, and it might have felt more relaxed if guests were spread out instead of concentrating seating in one area while other sections remained empty.
Overall, a very positive experience with delicious food and excellent service — just a few atmosphere and presentation details that, if elevated, would make it a five-star visit. I would definitely return.
