I'm highly disappointed with my experience at Tea Station. I ordered a passion fruit lemon green tea with 50% sugar and it was way too sweet. You came see the pic of the two drinks where the syrup is literally on the bottom of the drink, unmixed. When I asked the workers if they can remake it to be less sweet, they remade it but it was still the same exact sweetness. I figured perhaps it’s the passion fruit syrup that’s just too sweet so I decided to pay for a new drink with peach and lemon at 25% sweetness. Again when I tried it, it was still very sweet! We were soooo confused because his mango green tea with lemon was so good and tasted like 50% however the two (or three, if counting the remake) tasted like 100% sweet. I asked my boyfriend if he could go back and ask the workers to remake it because at this point, we know that it’s not the passion fruit syrup’s fault, there’s something wrong with how it’s made. When he went back, they mentioned how they made it twice already and next time we can ask for less syrup. First, it wasn’t the second time she remade it, we asked her to remake two different drinks second, this wasnt option on their self checkout menu and im not sure if there is a difference between less ‘sweetness’ and less ‘syrup’. Less sweet should mean less syrup, right? It seems they might mix their syrup and additional sugar into their drink which is somewhat strange as most boba places do less syrup if the requested sweetness is less. We’ve been here multiple times and loved their drinks prio which were pretty consistent on flavor except this recent experience. Overall, my experience could have been better!

Only two girls at the counter, and they were about 30 minutes to closing. Girl took my friend's order, then went back, to her partner on shift for a couple minutes, before taking my order. She could've just taken both our orders, before going back to them, and then dealing with the next batch of folks, but at the end of the day, we both got our drinks at the same time. So I can't complain. This place is nicely lit. Not too dark, but not ultra bright to where your eyes are blinded. In response to someone complaining about this location being more of a tea shop instead of a boba place, the chain started exactly that way. Does that mean they're reducing the crazy variety of sugar-laden drinks, and friend street foods? Probably, but when I came to this location, I never saw it in its previous incarnations, so I didn't have that expectation.

I’m so happy that I found this Taiwanese place. Food is so fresh and tasty. The variety of food is enticing. Tried their teas and hot desserts. Delicious! One of my favorite spots now. Excellent customer service 👌

If this were years ago when there was far less competition in the boba world, this place would probably get 4-5 stars easy but since the 626 (and beyond!) has been inundated with a tea shop on every other corner, the bar has been raised and places like Tea Station need to change to keep up. Service and atmosphere are okay, nothing great. Drinks are- again- okay, not great. They lose a star for the fact that they do use syrups and creamers. I am not a fan of cheap ingredients and additives. I like that they do have a full kitchen and a solid food menu, which a lot of boba places lack. The last time I was there, I simply ordered their Spicy Wontons. Twenty minutes pass by and nothing... I got the sneaky suspicion that the guy who took my order never actually put it in, so I flagged someone down and sure enough, I was right. When it finally came out, it was hot and delicious, even though I wouldn't have minded it a tad bit spicier. They apologized when handing me the dish and when the check came for our table, I wasn't charged for my order. That was a proper customer service move on their part and I was pleasantly surprised as service can be bad enough to warrant a one-time visit only. Thank you, Tea Station staff, for an otherwise flawless evening with my girls.
