SOUL SOOTHING authentic tea retreat! I like the warmth & nourishment found in a pot of tea shared over quiet conversation. It’s my 2nd time here, word of mouth from a friend. Owner Cinthia was welcoming and knowledgeable with her tea expertise. We had several pots of the green tea sourced from China. Quiet sitting room blanketed w/ soft jazz music allowed my visiting from NY daughter and I to catch up. I plan on introducing friends to this gem of a tea house in Ocean Beach. One-of-a-kind FIVE STAR experience!

Loved my experience there. Cynthia is a lovely soul, she creates a soothing atmosphere where you can really delve into the realm of tea. She made me a ceremonial matcha tea just because I went into a rant about my love of matcha. Not on the menu, but ask her if she can do it! I can go on a on about this place. I remember it now as my oasis during my San Diego Vacation. Next time I am in Souther California, I will go out of my way if needed to visit again. This is the place for tea lovers, if you value experience and taking a beat to enjoy every sip, then you appreciate this.

The tea house is truly something special. It’s intimate, peaceful, and unlike any other place I’ve been. Cinthia and James are two of the kindest people I’ve ever met. They treat every customer like a best friend. They are thoughtful, generous, and incredibly welcoming. Being at the tea house feels like entering a vortex of calm, peace, and connection. Sometimes it’s quiet and meditative, other times it becomes social and full of amazing conversations with incredible people. You never leave the same way you came in. Their tea selection is out of this world, carefully curated by Cinthia and James with so much love and care. I recommend this place to everyone. It’s always a pleasure to be here. The most peaceful place in OB. James has a deep knowledge of not only tea serving but also of mindfulness. If you want to experience the most unique moments of your life this is the place.

Be careful if you’re first time here they not gonna tell you that all type of experience priced per hour unless you ready to pay!!! So in general was ok tea, but I believe that “old” tea as their spirituality only part of the show probably idk, but I know that I’m not going to buy it for sure!

Amazing experience in this intimate tea spot in OB. Had a magnificent time learning about tea, enjoying a good conversation and of course delicious tea. Location is a bit hard to find, Google maps sends you to back alley but despite that 5/5 🙏
