Where to Find the Best Boba and Bubble Tea in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"TeaTop takes its tea seriously. The tea in that cup isn’t just a vehicle for boba, it is something to be enjoyed, to be dwelled upon. The shop uses high-mountain tea leaves, grown in the mountain ranges of central Taiwan. Try the signature alpine green tea or Sun Moon Lake black tea, both offered hot and cold."

Google
This place is so ridiculously good. I've had bubble tea, milk tea, jelly tea, pudding tea from EVERYWHERE. But Tea Top consistently gets it right. Beyond right. It's amazing. The ginger milk tea with brown sugar is nothing short of mind blowing. It's actually better than most authentic ginger chais I have tried. Worth the drive. And definitely shouldn't be missed if you're in the area.

Google
I really liked that this place was a short walk from HMart! I got myself the Fresh Milk with Sun Moon Lake Black Tea with boba, I’ve never heard of it anywhere before. I liked the drink, not sure if it would be my first choice but it was good. The customer service is great as well. They still wear marks and have the clear covid walls so you know it’s also very sanitary. They also have some decorations for halloween which is cute for photos!

Google
Cute interior! Ordered a pearl milk boa tea. It wasn't too bad. Plenty of drink to choose from though

Google
Tea top from Taiwan! I was really excited that this is open right next to hmart because it’s high ratings. When I was there today, exciting the line is longer then those for “Meet fresh” next door…I ordered 3 drinks excitingly but I barely taste any tea. I go through the reviews and I’m thinking, is this the new trend? Why did everyone likes it so much 😅!? 3 star for the ingredients being fresh at least.

Google
Very cute, small boba drink place. Had the Alpine apple milk tea and my sis had the brown sugar ginger hot tea. Both delicious. Good customer service🧋✌️. Thank you Tea Top :)

Google
One of my fav place. Sun moon lake milk tea is always the best. Too bad you can't hangout here because they don't have enough space, or chair, or table. Only to go, but the order is usually came out pretty fast.

Google
My favorite Atlanta boba place by FAR. better prices than the competitors, CONSISTENT, and so many options! I wish there were more locations!!

Google
Very small quick stop for boba/milk tea pick up space with no dine-in space. Very cute modern minimalist vibe. Delicious milk tea at affordable price. Highly recommend this stop for a quick milktea/boba pick up when you are in the area.

Yelp
I missed Tea Top since the Johns Creek location shut down. This place is in the Super H Mart shopping center with plenty of parking. Walking up, I noticed this place is basically made to be grab your drink and go. There is no place to sit and drink here. The front counter has a wall and plexiglass where you can't even touch the employee. Reminds of a bank. I ordered one of the top 10 drinks: Grapefruit tea. I will say this drink was amazing. The sweetness and flavor was on point. Many places are either too sweet or not sweet enough. My drink was perfect! I can't wait to come back again!

Yelp
The menu is vast service is fast! (y'all can use that if you want ) As a first time visitor, it'll take you more time to read the menu than to get your order. As a party of 7, we tried lots. Here's what we had the review of the person who consumed it. Me first! Brown sugar Jasmine milk tea with half sweetness and no topper. The sweetness was perfect for me. Pearl milk tea (13yo): tastes like Thai tea. It's sweet, but has too many balls. Brown sugar ginger, with full sweetness, served hot (adult): wouldn't order it again. It's kind of watery and the flavor isn't concentrated enough. Brown sugar jasmine milk tea with full sweetness (12yo): not sweet enough so doesn't like it. Strawberry milk tea, full sweetness, add pearls: just ok, not the best she's ever had Strawberry mango smoothie (split b/w 4yo and 2yo): oldest loved it, little one rejected it This is an on the go establishment. It runs efficiently with the expectation you will take your food to go. There's only seating for waiting, not enjoying. There's also no public restroom, so plan accordingly.

Yelp
--Location/Parking-- Plenty of parking in the strip mall. There is even additional parking in front of Brandsmart --Ambience-- Small waiting area, there is no indoor seating --Service/Staff-- Staff gets you in and out, The teenager taking my order was a typical teenager. --Food/Products-- Great milk tea that I needed a boost for my day. --Capacity-- No indoor seating. Wait area can get crowded after more than 2 groups --Overall-- Great little hidden boba/tea/coffee shop. The service is quick and the drinks are delicious.

Yelp
You walk into a small shop and place your order at the counter, then pick up to the window on the left. My son ordered the Taro, and was told they used real taro, so it was going to be grainy. SOLD!! I ordered one too. The majority of places use the powder and I wasn't even going to order. Glad I did. It was 50% less sweet and it was delish! Both my kiddos enjoyed their teas!

Yelp
Very small quick stop for boba/milk tea pick up space with no dine-in space. Very cute modern minimalist vibe. Delicious milk tea at affordable price. Highly recommend this stop for a quick milktea/boba pick up when you are in the area.service was pretty quick. Plenty of free parking spaces.

Yelp
Teatop is my GO TO spot for boba tea! My current (for the past 2 years lol) order has been the signature alpine green milk tea. It has the perfect balance of a fragrant tea and milk. The boba here is cooked to perfection and not too hard or mushy. I also love that they will ALWAYS ask your sugar and ice level in case you forget to mention. And the really adjust accordingly ! Every time I ask for 50% it is really 50%. I would say they are always consistent, which makes me come back time and time again cause they never disappoint. Other drinks that I would to get here are the grapefruit green tea and the passion fruit medley! Their fruit drinks are sooo good! Tea too can really do no wrong in my book, only thing is that they are closed on Tuesdays. Overall, this is my go to spot for boba!!

Yelp
Sun Moon Lake Fresh Milk Tea: 10/10 If you know me, you know i loveeeee boba. Tea Top has been one of my favorite spots ever since discovering it a few years ago. It is a small place that doesn't have seating, so it's more of a grab and go vibe. This doesn't take away from how fresh and good their tea is consistently!! I've tried a few things on their menu and have never been disappointed!! Their Sun Moon Lake Tea is among my all time favs!! If you're near the area or passing through, this is worth stopping for

Yelp
Rife with plenty of competition even within the confines of the shopping center it's located in, Tea Top certainly holds their own and is a boba shop that I visit quite frequently, especially after shopping at H-Mart. The general public seems to fancy this place as there is always a line, and for good reason. Prices here are low, there are a ton of different options and service is quick. I actually haven't been quite as adventurous at Tea Top. Their menu consists of a ton of tea options, which include milk teas, slushies, drinks with milk foam and even hot teas. My go-to here is the passion fruit and mango black tea with the lychee jelly. This drink never fails, it's refreshing and light on the palate. I've also had the matcha green milk tea, which is a good option as well, but not as good as my standard drink. Unpopular opinion: I think having a seating area is quite important, if you can help it. It opens up the standing room and create a communal and multi-purpose environment. Tea Top appears to once have had a seating area, but blocked it off during the pandemic. Is a seating area necessary? Probably not. Would it make Tea Top an even more desirable option to spend time? Absolutely. I will say, sometimes their limited standing space can get quite crowded because of long lines. I guess it's just a product of the place being so popular! To round out a consistently good experience, the service at Tea Top is always quick and helpful. They do only accept Visa, so come prepared! With a blend of good drinks and quick service, Tea Top is the place to visit for a boba in the H-Mart shopping center!

Yelp
Ordered a strawberry mango slushy with boba. It was delicious and refreshing on a hot summer day especially for those looking for a non-caffeinated beverage. They had a lot of non-caffeinated options, but I wished that they had pictures on the menu to see what the drinks looked like. I went to Yelp to see what looked good and that's how I landed on the slushy that I ordered. As for the ambience, it's definitely a casual spot. the inside is a walk up counter where you order. There is a small seating section just for those that are waiting, but there are not any tables or anything. The prices are a bit high, I ended up spending seven dollars on one slushy with Boba. However, I think it's worth it for an occasional delicious treat and it seems like they use pretty high quality ingredients. The service is also pretty quick. I waited maybe less than 5 minutes.

Yelp
I just got food at H mart and was looking for something to drink on the drive home and my sister suggested this place. It doesn't look super noticeable but once inside you can tell it's a boba shop. We ordered and wait only about 5 mins til our drinks were ready to pick up. Overall it was good. The only thing was my tea was extremely sweet for being 50% sugar.
google avatar

Vanessa G.

Yelp
Really good tea options and prompt service. Not a good hangout stop, just because of the limited space, but good for a grab and go.
google avatar

Mick D.

Yelp
I will be back for more. I wanted some plain milk with brown sugar and boba. And that's what I got. It hit the spot without the caffeine. And boba always makes me happy. I don't recall any seating area. Just get your drink and go relax with it somewhere else. The menu has plenty of options for the tea lovers in your life. Holler at me if I can meet you there.

Yelp
Wow -- I am a little surprised to see such a high review score for Tea Top. Not trying to throw shade in any way but I still think Kung Fu Tea and Greatea reigns when it comes to milk tea in Atlanta. Tea Top is located in the Doraville Hmart plaza and opened when the milk tea craze entered to Atlanta in 2017/2018. They used to have a dine-in seating area but now it's a pick-up n' go kinda place -- my assumption is due to COVID. Tea Top is your typical bubble tea place with variety of milk tea, fruit teas and smoothies to choose from. I, for some reason, don't remember having the best experience here but my friend was begging me to go so I decided to check it out with them. I ordered the oolong milk tea with boba and because it's such a pick up n' go kinda place now -- we were able to get our drinks pretty quickly. The review of the milk tea? It's pretty solid. I mean but it's hard to be objective because there are now MANY places in Atlanta that could do boba like this. Several people I know think this is the best bubble tea in ATL and I'm sure they have their reasons -- but for me, it's solid but I don't think it's the best. Also, because I live OTP and it's far from me, it's not something that I constantly crave or want to make the 30 minute drive for. There is also a KFT 5 minutes from here and I'd rather go there when I'm in the Doraville area. Again -- stil pretty solid but not my #1.

Yelp
Area: this tea shop is situated in the middle of a large asian plaza! There is an Hmart, multiple food spots, a karaoke and sake bar, and ~4 other tea shops right next door. Ambiance: tea top is a small little shop with counter service. Orders were out within 10mins. There is no seating available inside, and the line can easily loop out the door if there's over 6 people ordering. Its cute and cozy, and open until 9pm. Food: We got a few different selections. Oolong milk tea w milk foam, earl gray tea w milk foam, and sun and moon black tea w milk foam. There are 10+ options for toppings, ice amt, and sweetness level for endless customization. The earl grey tea was subtle, but the rest had a prominent tea flavor which was a nice contrast from the salty milk foam. I got it w/o boba, but next time would try it w the sago bubbles.

Yelp
Visited Tea Top for a boba after an H-Mart run! I love this H-mart plaza: there's so many good restaurants and shops, plenty of parking, and Tea Top is right in the middle of it! Right now there's not really seating, it's only a takeout window but that was alright for me. I had the Brown Sugar Jasmine Milk Tea at 50% sugar with pearl boba and it was absolutely delicious and the right amount of sweetness! I can't wait to go back and try the other flavors (they have a huge variety of milk and fruit teas and even slushys!)
google avatar

Denise D.

Yelp
ordered my usual: earl grey milk tea 3Q less ice 30% sugar. made perfectly. like always. this place is consistently consistent. I don't even remember the last time ive had a drink that wasn't made perfectly. I come here probably at least twice a month. I'm just beating a dead horse at this point. this is still the best boba shop in Georgia. boba cooked perfectly. earl grey tea is authentic and naturally brewed. the balance of liquid to toppings is perfect. ugh. just. amazing.

Yelp
I looked at my old review of Tea Top and was surprised I gave it only 4 stars. Maybe I was young, dumb, and being edgy. But Tea Top is a legit 5 star boba tea shop. They opened around 2018 and mastered their process. They constantly pump out high-quality boba teas in the Atlanta area. Due to covid, they closed their seating area and became a take-out only joint. It's fine. You just go up and order, wait for your number to be called, and get your drink. If you want to hang out, well, tough luck. I have a lot of favorites here. Their Earl Grey 3Q is a classic. Their Oolong Milk Tea is always great. Sun Moon Lake Tea is excellent. The matcha drinks are top notch (probably better than Matcha Maiko). Their teas in general taste better than other tea places in Atlanta. They seem to use higher quality tea, at least that's what it tastes like. Their slushes are top notch. Other tea places sometimes have chunks of ice, pretty annoying. Tea top makes sure they blend through all the ice so there aren't huge chunks floating around. It's all smooth. The texture of their slush are nice. They only have 1 size. It's the "large" size you see at other Boba Tea places. No conserving here. You get all the fat calories you need from this place. Their service is fast and efficient. Their teas taste great. In my previous review, I wrote that it wasn't the best bubble tea place in Atlanta. Well, after 5 years, I think they are probably the best bubble tea place that I've been to so far.
google avatar

Yelp
I had Matcha slushy. The price is good for the amount of money we paid. By far this is one of the best Matcha boba I ever had. I definitely recommend this place! The location is also wonderful. It is located in this shopping plaza where you can find other goodies too!
google avatar

Yelp
Mango smoothie was top tier, especially with the blueberry boba. The milk tea was also very good.
google avatar

Yelp
Long line but short wait. The signature green alpine milk tea with boba was delicious!
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
Great prices and great tea! You order at the counter through a glass, and the workers are all very nice and quick with the order. No seating inside, but it's boba so we took it to go anyways.
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
Shout out to the Sun Moon Lake tea one of my favorite milk tea bobas I've had in life. I went to visit Atlanta and stopped by here to try this and now that I'm home & back in NY, I keep thinking about it. That's how you know it really made an impact. The drink is a large & only comes in one size, with tapioca. We got 70% sugar and it was just right! The boba was chewy & great texture. If you like milk tea, you NEED o try sun Moon Lake!!
google avatar

Karlie C.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times now and I consistently order the grapefruit green tea. It has such a fresh taste to it I can't get past it. I don't live in Atlanta so I crave it when I'm not here. Even though it's a fairly small shop the service is great and they still make the inside look cute.
google avatar

Ruchi S.

Yelp
The most authentic tarro milk tea I have had! The only downside is the texture of the tea, it is a gritty which is not the best.
google avatar

Janus C.

Yelp
So consistent, fast and kind customer service. And it's always high quality. Bubbles are chewy (but not too chewy), tea forward, and modifications are appropriate. I always get either the Oolong Milk tea with boba or their Signature Green Milk tea with boba with 50% sugar and less ice.
google avatar

Monica L.

Yelp
Teatop is very popular--apparently, it's the go to place in Chamblee. When I stopped by, there was a GIANT group of people (mostly younger crowd) waiting for drinks...after I had lunch, shopped around, and came back, there was still a giant gaggle of people outside! Absolutely cray...bright side is that the line goes by quick and drinks are decently quick as well (I think kids just like to hang around outside after they get their drinks). The drinks are decent--tea is brewed well and boba is cooked just fine. I have to say that places with "fresh boba" are better (I know a couple spots in Duluth), but this is a solid joint. If I had to put on my boba snob hat from living in LA/SGV (IYKYK), this is okay. However, GA standards not being in Duluth (or this bomb place in John's Creek), it's quite solid.
google avatar

Pachith H.

Yelp
Quick and Easy boba tea shop to stop in when in the Hmart Plaza! The service was very quick, and the tea flavoring and boba texture was on point! Highly recommend if you're looking to have a quick simple tea stop!
google avatar

Briana N.

Yelp
Tea top is a great place to get boba! I got the Sun Moon Lake Tea with normal sugar and less ice and it was so delicious! It does run sweet so next time I would definitely get 70% or maybe even 50% sweetness.
google avatar

Yelp
I have heard of Tea Top, and the reviews are good. It seemed like the perfect treat for my daughter after getting her vaccinated. Tea top was a little difficult to find, because it's in a huge shopping center. When you walk in, there is this giant plastic boba which was really cute. It's not a very big place, and not much room to sit and veg with your tea so we took ours to go. You can order online which is nice so you can avoid a wait. They have lots of different teas including milk tea fruit tea, traditional tea, slushies, hot tea...the list goes on. My daughter ordered the thai milk tea with boba. Prices were fair, but unfortunately they don't take AMEX. I didn't have my other card on me, so this really nice lady offered to get it for me, and cash app her. I was so surprised in a good way about this nice gesture from her. I only wish they had more boba in the drink, but it was really good. My daughter definitely snarfed it up. I drank some of hers, and was equally pleased with it. I would say for a sweet treat, this is definitely on the list for boba. Just don't bring your AMEX!

Yelp
Stopped by after a quick H Mart visit (directly to the left of the market). My first time in and so man options! My boyfriend got the Passion Green Tea (which was deliciouuuuus, will def get this one next time) and I got the Mango Green Tea, also delicious. Really appreciated the bits of mango inside, yum. The lady at the counter was super helpful with ordering, even made suggestions that we both really appreciated. Teas were fresh, fruity and you can adjust sweetener/toppings to your liking. This is a close trek for me so I will absolutely be back!
google avatar

Nancy B.

Yelp
If you're in the areas, definitely stop by for some boba here. Place is small but has plenty of good options on the menu. I got the sun moon milk tea with boba less ice and 50% sugar and it's so good! Sugar level is the perfect amount. The boba itself is tasty too! Parking is shopping center parking
google avatar

Ritika K.

Yelp
Super cute spot tucked away in a big complex. No indoor seating, there is a small bench to sit on while waiting. Plently of parking. I ordered a mango slushie with milk and mango jelly. It was definitely delicious and I will order it again.

Yelp
This was my go-to boba shop from 2019-2022. I loved Tea Top because they always made amazing quality drinks for an amazing price. But sadly, things changed after the pandemic. The last time I went was in July 2022. I started to notice that ever since Tea Top began to change their branding and packaging, so did the quality of their drinks and their prices. I understand that the price changes reflect tough times, and that didn't stop me from supporting them. However, the change in quality from the taste of the drink to the texture of the boba going downhill was unexpected and less forgiving. The last drink I ordered was the Sun Moon Lake Milk Tea. It was so watered down and the boba was so tough, small, and hard to chew. I had it a couple times before this as well, and each time it was getting worse and worse but I didn't expect it to get so bad. I haven't been back since then because I'm not sure if they ever fixed this quality issue. Despite all this, Tea Top has a special place in my heart because the service is great and fast even when they get really busy and they have a great selection of flavors. I would love to know if anyone shares the same experience as me, and if the standard for their drinks has gone back up. Also if you didn't already know, they have cards which you can use to collect stamps and when you get 10 stamps you get a free drink :)
google avatar

BitLeigh V.

Yelp
Tea Top is one of several boba places in the H-Mart complex. I don't think I have come during any time when there wasn't a line! Drinks are around $4-6 which is pretty reasonable for the area! With milk teas, you can modify ice and sweetness level. My friend got the Sun Moon Lake Milk Tea with Boba and I ordered the Lychee Slushy with Rainbow Popping Bubbles! I loved the slushy and it had sooo much lychee flavor. I would prefer it a little less sweet, but I would get it again!
google avatar

Leila M.

Yelp
I was very so so on boba before my experience with Tea Too. Simple, easy, lots of variety and delicious. I went back several times during my visit to Atlanta because the high quality of every beverage I got. Can't wait to go back again or hope they expand to my hometown!

Yelp
WOOOOOW!! It's been FOREVER since I wrote a review. Today I went for a drive with my sister's family and got myself an Oolong Milk Tea with 30% Less Sugar and Less Ice. It tasted pretty good. The tapioca balls were soft and chewy. It was just the way I liked them. I enjoyed the drink very much! There were a lot of people standing outside of the Tea Top cafe. When you order your beverage, the employees will call out your number, and go and grab your drink. They'll only let you in if you're wearing a mask. So don't forget to wear your mask. There's only one size. So if you're wondering if there's a small size, well, there isn't. Just letting you know. Tea Top has put their drink menu on the front of the glass window, so you could decide which drink to get. You could also look on their website and pre-order your drink from there. I really like their boba drinks! Oh, and they don't do indoor dining. Just an FYI, you can't drink your beverage and hang out with your friends inside. I don't really have a favorite kind of milk tea. I just get whatever milk tea I feel like drinking.. it really depends on my mood!
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
I always loved and raved about the milk foam oolong tea. Unfortunately today the taste was no longer the same as before when then were first opened for the first few years. Don't know what's going on but I hope something is fixed so that taste and quality is the same. It doesn't have that refreshing feel anymore at the first sip. Not sure if they had to change the tea or whatever it Is.
google avatar

Jing L.

Yelp
Update to my last review... still my favorite bubble tea spot in Atlanta! I've tried several others like Yifang, Quickly, Ding Tea, etc. But honestly, nothing tops Tea Top... lol, get it. My favorites here are Oolong milk tea with red beans and grass jelly. I recommend getting it 0% sweetened because it's the toppings are already sweetened. The Taro Milk Tea with Sago is also really good, I legit ordered that every time I went for over 6 months. And I'd order 2 each time to save one for later! haha There is ample parking since it's in the same plaza as Hmart. It's also located next to a bunch of restaurants so it's quite convenient to stop by after a meal. My favorite thing is that you can order on their website for pick up, so you don't need to wait in line for a long time. Oh, and don't forget they have a stamp card. You get a free bubble tea after 10 I think. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Tried these three items: Mung Bean Milk Slushie - pretty good, but can taste a little chunky. If you've had mung bean before, you'll probably know what I mean. Signature Alpine Green Tea - one of the Top 10 drinks listed at Tea Top. While it tastes good, I would best describe it as a cold green tea with some sugar to sweeten the taste. Probably wouldn't be in my Top 10. Strawberry and Mango Slush - Kids continue to love this flavor for good reason

Yelp
Located right next to H-Mart, this boba shop is conveniently placed and often busy. However, the countless number of cafes/boba shops in the area provides sufficient competition -- Meet Fresh is next door and also serves desserts and drinks. Due to the pandemic, there is no dine-in; you order at the front and leave when they call your drink order. The drinks average around $5 - $7 with the option to customize the sweetness and ice level, but there is only one size. I ordered their Earl Grey Milk Tea with 3 Toppings, which is noted on their menu as a signature drink. The employee recommend customizing my drink to half sweetness since the toppings add flavor. To my surprise, the three toppings provided were boba, lychee jelly, and grass jelly -- other shops give custard/pudding instead of lychee jelly. My drink was enjoyable, but I did wish that the earl grey fragrance and taste was slightly stronger. I was able to try my friend's oolong milk green tea, as well as the fresh milk with three toppings (red bean, boba, grass jelly). The oolong was too bitter and mature for my taste, whereas the fresh milk didn't have much flavor besides the red bean. I can't say this is my favorite boba shop, especially since there are so many other options to try. However, I would like to come back and order something new!
google avatar

Cindy L.

Yelp
The best boba shop in doraville hands down. Their signature alpine green milk tea is soo delicious and their bobas are always soft/chewy.
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
I really love the milk tea taste from this Boba shop. They mix it so well. It can be a busy place but it is a very nice boba shop. There are also so many shop nearby Tea Top too so some boba and food is a great combo here.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place to get boba tea! I've been here countless times and it's always a good experience. The signature alpine green milk tea is now my go to as it's not too bitter and not too sweet. Heads up, they do not take Amex cards.

Yelp
Favorite boba place in ATL. They're always quick and consistent. I also love how their boba isn't overly chewy.

Yelp
Came here after visiting hmart and we wanted to try a boba spot we haven't before so we decided to stop by tea top. When we walked up we noticed a lot of people waiting for drinks, so definitely a popular spot and they have an order ahead option so you can cut down the wait time if you order and shop at hmart. We placed our orders when we were there and waited about 20 minutes for drinks to be ready. Outside they have a menu for you to look at as well as instructions on how to order. Here's what we decided to try: Brown sugar jasmine milk tea with pearls- 7/10 it was okay, nice jasmine tea flavor, boba consistency was good. Wintermelon alpine green tea with lychee- 8/10 my brother liked his drink, can't adjust sugar level for this drink, but he said it was fine Taro milk tea 50% sweet with pearls- 4/10 didn't really like this. the milk tea flavor was fine, didn't get too much taro flavor like other places. they use like actual grinded up bits of taro or something. It was weird consistency. Pearls were good though. Peach green tea 80% sweet with aloe Vera- 9.5/10 my favorite drink that we got! Tea flavor was nice and not bitter, peach flavor was there and added a nice sweetness. There were chunks of peach and along with the aloe Vera, it was perfect. Definitely recommend this. A little on the sweeter side so maybe try 50% for perfect level of sweetness. All drinks are one size and some have more customizations than others I think in terms of sweetness. Overall, they were busy but they worked fast for a lot of orders that I saw. Pickup was easy, but I was confused because there are two windows. I saw a couple pickup at a window to the right where I think you can order as well? Pickup sign was on the left. I waited for a few minutes and no one was there so I had to ask the guy at the opposite window where I can pick up. He had someone come to assist so it ended up getting sorted out. Drinks costed $22 for 4. Not too bad for boba prices! Definitely try the peach green tea if you're here.

Yelp
Amazing staff, serving with a smile and great recommendations! Masks required inside and the menu is located on the window outside. The earl grey pearl tea, with 3Q (toppings) was my first choice and it did not disappoint. Filled with rest flavor, the things that surprised me were the interesting textures of the ingredients. I would definitely recommend to try; order at 30% sugar however, with light ice! See photos please, and follow me if you agree!

Yelp
There are so many great options for boba tea in atlanta, chose this one cause the line was poppin out the door. It was a little confusing as there's a sign saying you order via phone to minimize contact. But they were taking orders in person too. There is no indoor or outdoor seating so the drinks are all to go. Also there is only one size for drinks, I wanted a smaller one but only got large. I ordered earl gray milk tea, and it was very fragrant, the regular sweetness was perfect for me. I do like that you can change the sweetness and ice level for no charge. The jasmine green tea was also good but i didn't think it was as fragrant. Still very good and at a great price point. ALSO, there's a giant boba tea for a photo op! Would return!!

Yelp
***This review is based solely on the service and attitudes of the Doraville location.*** Tea Top is a boba tea shop located in the Peachtree Pavilion in Doraville (same shopping center as the Doraville Hmart, Miss Gogi, Kura Sushi and a variety of other great spots). While the parking lot is huge, it can be tough to find a parking spot on the weekends/evenings, so plan to arrive a little early just in case. It's located to the left of Hmart (if facing it) tucked in a tiny shop that currently does not have any room inside to do more than place and pick up your order. They allow you to order in person, online and over the phone. I have been to this location plenty of times previously without any issues until this last visit. I can understand that when you are super busy, yes service will decline, but that does not mean you can or should be rude! Your customers are your lifeblood and should be treated with at least a little common decency I would think. We used the online portal to order ahead, assuming it would speed up the process of waiting. It said you place your order, get an email confirming your order was received and then 10-25 minutes later would receive a text that your order was ready. Unfortunately, while the idea is great in concept, it was never actually applied. We placed our orders online and waited to receive the email confirming receipt of our drink orders. And then we waited some more. After the first 20 minutes, we asked a cashier if they were taking online orders or if we should just redo our orders in person. He told us to not place an in person order and wait and we should get an email saying our order was being processed then. So we waited ANOTHER 20 minutes and again went in to inquire about our orders and were told yes, they were about to be processed and it would be another 20 minutes and our drinks would be ready. By that point, we were already late for other appointments and told them to cancel our orders. They said okay, orders canceled, sorry about the long wait. Surprise, surprise, literally five minutes after leaving, each of us received a text saying our drinks were ready. We ignored this since, 1). we were already on the interstate and, 2). we had canceled our orders before leaving. I assumed that it just meant they canceled the order on their end and since it was "closed out" it sent the text as final confirmation of "closing" that order. The real kicker is that TWO HOURS LATER I got a call from an unknown number and upon answering it was Tea Top asking if I was ever going to show up to pick up my drinks?? Drinks that I assumed had been sitting there for two hours?? I told the girl that no, I was not coming by because I had canceled my order since I was late for an appointment. She muttered something under her breath and hung up on me mid-word. There are a couple problems here. First, if you call someone to see if they are still coming to pick up their order, wouldn't you call at the point when they are 15 minutes late? In hospitality, you assume no shows after 15 minutes, so.... Second, if you call someone about their order, even if they are a no show, do not be rude! It reflects poorly not on you, but instead your place of employment since you represent them. I will not be returning to this location for a while since there are plenty of other boba tea places around where they greet you with a smile and polite manners!

Yelp
Loved my Sun Moon Lake Milk Tea! I got half ice and less sugar and the tea flavor really came out. They have so many options! I hope to come back soon.

Yelp
out of all the boba places i've tried in the past decade, tea top is definitely one of my favorites. their drinks have a strong tea flavor, good boba consistency, and a good balance of creaminess/milk. i used to always get the oolong or jasmine milk tea which have a great roasted or floral flavor, but my all time favorite tea from tea top is the signature alpine green milk tea. i've never had anything like it at any other boba place. it's a green milk tea with a slightly different taste--my brother says it tastes like the sweet version of the green tea they serve you at chinese restaurants. idk if i'm crazy but i always feel like it tastes a bit like cookie butter/gingerbread lol. i always get less ice and 30% sugar. i got 50% today and it was too sweet for me. also at this location, it wasn't as creamy as the one i get back home in the bay area which was a little disappointing. however, the large milk tea here is only $3.95 and with boba and tax comes out to $4.81, which is a very good price considering it comes out to $6.18 back home :o this location is a little takeout counter to the left of hmart. it took less than 10 minutes to get my drink. i don't come to the doraville area often but if i do, i'll be back!
