Such a cute spot! We have experienced their amazing matcha and have always loved the cozy atmosphere. Recently we tried the later hours wine option and was pleasantly surprised with a small but very good selection of wines. Great spot to catch up with friends offering a peaceful chill vibe.

Google
This was my first time visiting, but I liked the vibe right away and would definitely come back the next time I’m in town. The crew behind the counter seemed friendly and knew what they were doing, which made ordering easy. I got the iced vanilla matcha and it was just okay. Not bad, just not something I’d get again. I’ll try something different next time. The real highlight was the patio. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the afternoon. I love that part of town and it made the whole experience even better.

Google
Lots of teas to try. Knocking off a star because they were suppose to give us a refill for our teapot but they didn’t leave in the teabag so we had to pay for another pot. So if you’re getting a pot remind them to leave in the tea bag for a free refill. Great location, lots of seating indoors and out. It’s very casual inside and I think that the space could have more decor to elevate the vibe since the outside is really cute.clean rr and friendly employees. I would come back.

Google
Their tea cake is the closest thing to my grandmas homemade cake. It's so, so delicious! I also love their pumpkin spice bar with the cream cheese frosting. The tomato soup is so tasty and as yall know they have the best tea in town.

Google
Cozy house (formerly a single family residence) converted to a lovely tea house, with wine! Very good WiFi. Parking in back. Clean, chilled, many little nooks to plug in and get some work done or to yak with your buds. Many tables under umbrellas in front. In a residential neighborhood that seems to be evolving into a commercial district. I'm coming back here next time I'm in SLC.

Google
Loved this shop! 5 stars for the drinks - really solid latte - chai and matcha were also very good 4 stars for the service - the person who took our order seemed a bit out of sorts but he was nice 5 stars for the atmosphere - just what I am looking for in a coffee/tea shop - clean and super comfortable - lots of seating inside and out 5 stars for the prices - VERY reasonable Highly recommend!

Google
I experienced Tra Zaanti for the first time today. The service is on point. I received great recommendations from the person taking my order. The matcha blueberry with oatmeal milk was on point. I definitely will be back to try other things there and purchase the teas. I need good teas and I saw a wide selection. I will be back. I recommend you try.

Google
Great spot to meet friends and have tea under the trees. Had a cinnamon cake and it was good. Huge tea selection and amazing atmosphere.

Yelp
I have been absolutely OBSESSED with Tea Zaanti lately, and don't think that obsession will curb anytime soon. They truly have it all, a magical patio with sun/shade, plenty of parking, comfy indoor seating, fast wifi, friendly baristas and all the best that tea, coffee, and wine have to offer. - matchas 5/5 - iced/hot teas 5/5 - snacks 5/5 - coffee 4/5 (not strong but yummy) Their shop is so fun for a weekend lite brunch, snacks while working or just a charcuterie board and wine with friends after work. The ambiance is truly what keeps me coming back again and again! Relaxing, with just enough buzz. I think Tea Zaanti might be my preferred cafe :) so if you haven't been, go now!

Yelp
Charming and lively tea house in the middle of sugar house! Staff was very friendly and accommodating as I wanted to add ginger to their chammomile-lavender blends. They produce all their own tea blends and also serve a mean cup of coffee. Lots of intimate seating with simple decor such as flowers and local art. They also have a large patio space which is great for summertime months!
google avatar

Yelp
This tea shop has lots of tea options to choose from. I got the Raspberry Matcha Latte which was delicious! The shop is located in Sugarhouse and looks like a house. The service was great, our drinks came out quickly and the staff were super nice! Would definitely come back!

Yelp
I love me some good, quality tea-especially when there are lots of different flavors to choose from, since my mood varies and I like a variety. Tea Zaanti offers exactly that. On one full wall inside the space, there are shelves of different teas for you to peruse. I'm glad I took the time to sniff many of them, and ultimately landed on the raspberry rose petal, which was absolutely delightful. In addition to the teas, they do offer some coffee and wine. There's also a modest menu of food. I enjoyed the hummus while my friend had a baguette with cheese. We both enjoyed our selections and had a lovely time sitting in the shop chatting. I'm looking forward to returning when the weather is nice so I can sit outside and enjoy a cup of tea on the beautiful patio.

Yelp
Doing great things in terms of drinks, food, service, and activities for the community. Thank you!

Yelp
I love this place! It is so zen, quiet, and peaceful! Staff is friendly and approachable! It gives the vibe of being home! I usually get iced matcha latte with oat milk! There is a variety of teas for you to choose and they will make it for you.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and loved the collegiate atmosphere with folks engaged in studying or catching up with friends. Ordered a couple Arnold Palmers with a great recommendation from the staff on a fruity tea option to accompany the lemonade - delicious ! And got a couple of iced chai lattes which were some of the best chai lattes we've ever had! Excellent service, excellent drinks...can't wait to go back when I visit again!
google avatar

Gretel T.

Yelp
Matcha is good but not great - not strong enough. I wish they have matcha strength to choose from. Hojicha latte was a joke (see picture for the color. It's supposed to be brown) Super watery and I could barely taste the flavor. If you want good matcha there are better places in SLC now!

William K.

Yelp
This is a wonderful place to have a tea, with more varieties than you can find at most other places with a cafe setting. I do wish they would serve the tea in a small pot rather than in cups. (Suggest something along the lines of Loki Coffee's glass pot.) Being able to add more water and re-steep would increase the value. Also nice to control brewing time.
google avatar

Joseph M.

Yelp
This is my second time here, and their tea never disappoints. The London Fog is my favorite--it's perfectly balanced and so soothing. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is always friendly. I only wish they opened earlier than 10 am for my morning tea fix and stayed open later than 7 pm for those evening cravings. Highly recommend this place for any tea lover!

Yelp
Great spot in sugar house Salt Lake City No nonsense Chill The outside space allows you to bring your pup

Laura G.

Yelp
Tea Zaanti is a pleasant surprise with a wide range of drink and food offerings. The staff is courteous an efficient. Overall the menu items are value priced, especially baked goods. What I appreciated most is that it's not pretentious-more interested in serving the clientele.
google avatar

Holly N.

Yelp
Brought two five year olds here for an evening tea party and it was wonderful. The person at the counter made an excellent tea suggestion for the girls, and the moms got to enjoy mugs of mulled wine. Then we all enjoyed snacks and soup and played some of the available games. Will definitely be coming back, with and without kids.

Yelp
My favorite cafe in all of Utah. Love the matcha lattes, grilled cheese, and wine. Wonderful staff and local art.
google avatar

Helen L.

Yelp
One of my favorite coffee shops in Utah! Everything I've tried has been amazing, service was helpful and the cutest cozy vibes. The melted Brie and fig jam toast was a surprise hit. The matcha was delightful. If you aren't feeling coffee or tea, they also serve wine by the glass or bottle. Grab a friend and a bottle of wine, enjoy the dog friendly patio and relax the afternoon away. Only downside currently is the construction nearby.
google avatar

Lilly K.

Yelp
seriously divine matcha!! i love all the unique powders (I recommend getting nutty matcha with oat milk & vanilla!) so decadent and rich in flavor. The shop is a cute converted home nestled in sugar house with parking in the back and street parking in the front. They offer indoor and outdoor seating and often people are working / chatting inside. Highly recommend checking them out!

Ella C.

Yelp
I've been here around 10 times over the past few years. Atmosphere is very relaxed and cozy. I would say half of the people are there for remote work/ study, and the other half are there for chatting with friends. Everything is very fairly priced, and the food is great. I haven't tried the wine, but people seem to really enjoy the selection. Great wifi, fast service, and street parking behind the building. They also typically have vegan/ gluten free bakery items.

Yelp
My friends and I came here to have some drinks and hang out, it was a great time! I forgot to take a picture of the marble "tea" (coffee) cake, but it was DELICIOUS. Very moist, nice crumble on top. They also warmed it up a bit, and I highly recommend this! We sat outside and it was beautiful weather-- they have umbrellas outside and they provide cushions for you to sit on the chairs. They also provide a variety of games inside to play for free-- we had fun playing uno while enjoying each others company. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful as we made our selections. I highly recommend this place! They had beers that my friends enjoyed, and I enjoyed my tea, it was large and I had the option of having it warm or iced. They have a large variety! My other friend also really enjoyed her iced vanilla latte.
google avatar

Adriana R.

Yelp
Best tea shop in Salt Lake! The pots you can take to your table are VERY cute, and I love that there are always a lot of community events. Can't go wrong with any of the teas either! It's all brewed very well. Unfortunately, they don't do resteeps with the leaves, but it's still worth getting a nice big pot to enjoy. Give the wines a try too! There's a wonderful variety!
google avatar

Yelp
Staff friendly, tea and cheese delish. Love the ambiance! Great place for some low key socializing or even do some work/ studying

Yelp
Such a lovely little neighborhood institution. So many seating options and in the summer they had live music during the arts walks which was so nice. They have a lot of options and it's a super comfortable place to come with your family or meet with friends. The folx that works there are super nice and prices are great. Thankful to have this little gem in the neighborhood

Kid G.

Yelp
Was nervous going in the first time but had a very enjoyable time. The place had a very relaxed atmosphere, like I could go there to study unbothered. I'm looking forward to going again. Good sandwich too.
google avatar

Marc O.

Yelp
The Platonic ideal of a coffee/tea place. Ample seating, great selections to please anyone, friendly service, great neighborly vibes, chill music, and nobody pushes you to leave if you're there to get some work done while you're there. Honestly, I wish I could move to the neighborhood and come here all the time.
google avatar

Tahs L.

Yelp
Honestly, vibes were off. The guy working was kind of rude and I asked for my order to go and they take forever and bring it out in a glass and then ask if I wanted it to be for here or to go and act like I ordered wrong when I said oh I asked for it to go. Wasn't my favorite
google avatar

Darylynn D.

Yelp
I came here solely because they had matcha. It's been a while since I've ordered it anywhere and I really wanted to have it here. I had the iced matcha latte which was light in flavor. I was expecting a lot more matcha flavor to it. I also tried the iced matcha raspberry latte which was interesting. I've never had flavored matcha and this was a nice twist to it.
google avatar

Porter H.

Yelp
I got the vanilla black tea latte and it was absolutely great! I also got some tea leaves and they didn't disappoint either! The drinks took a bit longer than I would have liked but the people working there were great! And the atmosphere was the best part. It's in an old house and it's very cozy and comfortable. I would recommend this place ten times over!
google avatar

Pierce W.

Yelp
This is the spot, top 3 coffee shops in SLC. The vibe is unmatched, great staff, amazing tea selection, and the best is the vanilla matcha! Trust
google avatar

Lindsey H.

Yelp
After a very long time of wanting to come in here we finally made it! Great choice! It is an asset to our neighborhood with a large collection of teas, they make different coffee drinks, have wine and snacks. Very relaxed and friendly- we were glad we didn't have our kids though I am sure they would have been welcome. We bought some tea to enjoy at home and chais. Delightful! We will return!
google avatar

Yelp
London Fog iced and hot fantastic. Iced Matcha Latte was gone in 2.5 seconds should tell you enough about that so order it. Cinnamon tea cake warmed up, party in ur mouth. Thank me later. And Omgosh can we say adorable ambiance

Zachary I.

Yelp
I dont even know where to start. I got a 20 oz iced vanilla matcha and it was literally the best matcha I've ever had! Just so incredibly delicious and it was only $5.25! Such an incredible deal! And the place itself is super nice too. There is a big indoor area with many tables and even a patio! The drink came out super fast as well - only like 2 minutes. Absolutely worth it and deserving of a tip, I will be coming back here often.
google avatar

Martin V.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, great food & amazing matcha!! If you like matcha lattes in the Starbucks style, get the nutty matcha latte. It's fantastic and wayyy better than Starbucks - still a little sweet but such complex flavors. Warning the wifi can sometimes be a little spotty but otherwise this place is perfect
google avatar

Kimiko L.

Yelp
First, let's start with service- KNOWLEDGEABLE, KIND, and into what the place is all about! The decor is inviting and charming. The tables are set for gathering and the floors covered with a mix of rugs. We ordered the Bhakti Chai and an English Breakfast Latte. The chai was GREAT- still from concentrate, but not a sweet sugary mess. Spicy and on point! The English Breakfast is a bit stronger and more flavorful than others we have tried. Here's the deal- pictures can't tell you how good something is...therefore, a trip to this spot would be worth the time and effort!
google avatar

Asher B.

Yelp
This place is cute. It gets really busy in the afternoon. I love the idea of wine & work. Salt lake need a daytime, co working, coffee & cocktail place. This is close. The espresso is hit or miss.
google avatar

Emmily J.

Yelp
My absolute favorite spot for remote work over a great drink/snack. The loveliest people and ambiance. I'm here multiple times a week.
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
This is my 2nd time visiting the store, last time I bought the turmeric oil and used it on eggs, cauliflower mash, and some stir-fries. Ordered some to-go items - melted brie & fig Jam Baguette, smoked salmon & capers with avocado spread on crostini, matcha cream cheese cucumber sandwich, and ate the sugar cookie in the store. Wonderful tasting food made fresh to order. I can't handle caffeine very well so didn't get any tea. Place is fun, and full of energy and will return again and again.
google avatar

Janae I.

Yelp
This is the experience I want when I go for a warm drink: good service, good drink, good ambiance, quiet atmosphere, rainy day. All the ingredients for success. I'm limited in my tea and coffee options since I can't have caffeine. The owner said I could browse and smell any teas on the shelf, focusing on the herbal ones. But then he pulled down a canister of spicy coconut Chai and a cocoa tea to let me smell them. I went with the coconut, naturally. He made it into an almond milk latte for me. It was tasty, and actually spicier than anticipated, but so good that I bought myself a bag. It's a really cute little house, and it was a great place to spend an hour of my day off work. I wish it were closer to home, but was worth a trip for sure.

Yelp
Tea zaanti is such an amazing place. I would usually walk pass this place, but one day I decided to check it out. Never regretted it. The owners of this place is very knowledgeable about tea. They know how each tea needs to be prepared. Brewing the perfect tea for me and giving me the best experience ever. They do sell a lot of loose leaf teas as well, and also said the same thing I got confused about when I first move to America. Tea comes from only a certain plan and is a leaf. All the other "teas" being sold and drank aren't really tea but more infused water. I love this place, and they do have special events there. Their special events sometimes have specialty alcohol tea and tasty snacks. Totally worth going to when they do it.
google avatar

Fiana L.

Yelp
Caught up here with a friend who recommended Tea Zaanti given how warm the weather was forecasted to be. I'm already looking forward to more days out here enjoying tea and wine with friends! There is a decent amount of seating outside (both shaded and non-shaded) and overall it's a very casual and comfortable environment. Some people were simply working on laptops- we spotted a few outlets outside- while others were engaged in conversation. The tea was delicious! We also ordered the melted brie and fig jam plate that was $4.50, though we would have liked just a bit more fig jam to counteract the strong brie flavor. Either way, the tea is definitely in the spotlight here and for good reason! Finally, parking here was super manageable! If facing the front of the building, there is a narrow path to the left of the building where you can drive to the parking lot at the back.

Yelp
Color me a massive fan, and that's coming from someone who's not outwardly a "tea person." But while tea is at the base and heart of everything they do, it's really so much more than that. To start, this location is rad. They have an amazing patio, and in the summer you really ought to do yourself the favor of trying it. They serve wine on the patio, and it's pet friendly. Of course during COVID, it's been less about the store as a destination, and more about the sourcing of high quality teas. They have loose leaf teas, and even for us who just enjoy the occasional herbal tea, there are many mixes to choose from. Of course if you're into tea, you have black, white, green, oolong, and loads of others as well as many mixes and varieties of each category. It's honestly a little dizzying, but if you chat with the owners for more than a minute you'll get every kind of insight and recommendation that you need. However, you can also order online for the things that you just want to have sent. I'm excited to watch this place continue to grow after we can gather again. They focus on building a community around tea, and have a very passionate customer base. They also have a lovely food menu and that patio with a little nibble, some tea, or wine for the imbibers is exactly what summers were made for.

Yelp
My fiancé and I stopped into this place after driving by it several times and appreciating how inviting it looks! The staff were friendly and helpful, and I thought it was neat how much tea related merchandise they sell. We both ordered chai lattes - coconut chai (caffeine free!) with oat milk and a touch of honey for me + masala chai with soy milk for my fiancé. Currently, there is no indoor seating available due to the pandemic. We noticed a fire pit outside that was in use by other patrons. It would be nice if they had a few more out there as they do have a good sized patio area. However, it was a cold, dreary day so we took ours to-go! While we waited, we checked out the art that looks to be done by a local artist. I enjoyed reading the excerpts about her muse and the fact that patrons can order her work. We both enjoyed our drinks! They were piping hot when they came out. I definitely recommend adding honey to the chai - they did a great job of adding just a touch of sweetness without it being sickeningly overwhelming. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would love to come back!

Karen V.

Yelp
Another Sugarhouse local favorite! Come here to experience the world of tea, when you enter the store, feel free to browse through the different teas and have a smell to its scent, and have it converted into a hot drink, latte or anything you want. The experience of Tea Zaanti is its cozy design indoor and outdoor. If you are not sure what to order by the counter there is a menu where you can have good ideas.
google avatar

Gina M.

Yelp
Such a cute little spot! A few chairs on the front lawn if you are trying to get some rays and sip tea or a few couches on the patio for some shaded sipping. Inside there's definitely a collection of tables chairs and couches to sneak off too and get some work done. The tea selection is huge! There's also options to smell them or you can just go big and try something different. I stopped here during work one day looking for a quiet spot outside to check some emails. Price: way affordable Parking: street parking. I'm not from Utah but during the day there was plenty. If there's normally traffic on this road or people getting home from work I could see parking being an issue as there was a mixture of family homes and business homes everywhere. Service: quick, polite. Brought my cookie and tea outside to me.

Yelp
there's so many things i love about this spot. it is warm and inviting. they have a cozy interior space and a beautiful patio. the food is delicious. the tea is amazing. there is a wonderful selection of wine, which is kind of unique for our tiny little community. i love the staff, they're very kind and inclusive. overall this spot is a gem and it's one of my favorite places to hang out in the city. also, liz is amazing and i love them to pieces!

Yelp
Delicious tea in a relaxing setting. A great place to read, study, or have a nice conversation. They have a wide selection of tea and some options for cafe fare. The grilled cheese in particular is good. They also offer wine, and you can purchase loose leaf tea to make at home.
google avatar

Sarah D.

Yelp
Great place to study or catch up with a friend! The staff is friendly, fast, and knowledgeable, which helps if you're not a tea person! The food menu is simple but delicious!

Yelp
Fun little tea shop in Salt Lake. My friends and I had a nice little afternoon tea together.

Yelp
So love the blueberry and raspberry matcha!!!! So refreshing & not too sweet. The staff is super friendly and I can't wait to go back for wine.

Yelp
If you love white peaches, you're going to love the iced white peach tea!! Scott, the man in charge, is so knowledgeable of all the tea origins, the variety of flavors, and the science behind steeping your loose tea leaves at the perfect temperature. I had a little trouble finding the place because it looks like you're driving in a neighborhood. After a closer look, the tea shop is surrounded by other small business too! Parking of course can be hard because it's a neighborhood, but it's worth the search! They have a very warm welcoming environment with bright green lawn chairs, comfortable patio furniture on the porch and lush green bushes. Inside, there's a magnetic loose tea leaf sampler where you simply open by twisting the cap off. Each tin is labeled and divided based on amount of caffeine. Best part of it all is that he uses a French press to brew my iced tea! Im a newbie to this tea drinking experience and thought those were only used for coffee. I just recently bought a loose tea leaf pot and cannot wait to come back and pick up new flavors!

Yelp
Amazing tea spot. Freshly made to order. Love their tea selections. My favorite is the Hibiscus Punch. Bought a bag for home as well. Visited three times in one week. Great service and great food. The sugar cookies are woweewww!.
