On the Grid : The Teahouse Restaurant

"Nestled within Stanley Park is this gem of a restaurant. With two beautiful dining rooms and a small lounge, all with spectacular ocean views, the Teahouse is the perfect spot for a weekend family brunch or a dinner date. Everything I’ve had from this Pacific North West influenced menu has been great, but I specifically (and highly) recommend both the Lobster Eggs Benedict and the Chef’s Burger (both pictured)." - Amer Alkhatib

Great tasting food, and friendly & attentive service. Came for brunch for Father’s Day. The place is busy but all the staff made sure that everything is in order and under control. Dishes are beautifully presented and simply delicious. Most dishes are in the $25-35 range, with seafood and steak obviously on the higher end of the spectrum. Highly recommend this place for special occasions, without breaking the bank too much. The location, view, service, and service is definitely worth what you pay.

During recent trip of overseas family friend, the lunch destination was "The Teahouse in Stanley Park." Always a favourite, the scenic elevated location at the most westerly point of Stanley Park is pretty much matchless in Vancouver for views of water, mountains and forested natural splendor. The restaurant structure itself is also definitely historic -- the last vestige of Ferguson Point military base and emplacements from WW1 + WW2 -- and was District Commander's residence + Officers' Mess. The refined restored interior and exterior exude this history. The front area of the Teahouse property includes a raised + covered patio area, as well as an amazing landscaped garden just beyond the green hedges and entrance gate. It's also a very popular destination for private functions; the glass Conservatory, in Summertime, is a special favourite for wedding receptions. Hardly surprising given the perfect surroundings for such a memorable day! We encountered this fact ourselves at midday on a Wednesday. The restaurant was fully reserved + packed, as the Conservatory area had been set-aside for a reception. So always a safe move to call in advance for reservations! Many thanks to the very polite and welcoming staff who made space for us with a front window table. The Teahouse cuisine is especially centred on seafood and Westcoast Canadian staples. Think salmon, cod, steak, rack of lamb, many soups + salads, eggs benedict, etc. It is also a popular spot for Sunday brunch + cocktails. So if you're looking for a memorable restaurant - event venue with delicious menu offerings for brunch, lunch, dinner or drinks, "The Teahouse at Ferguson Point" should definitely be on your shortlist.

Tourist here. We Came from downtown, and happy to share it was easy to get an uber to/from. Gorgeous views, even better from inside rather the patio which is surrounded by high hedges. Fantastic service, good wine and decent food. We only tried the wine hour flights with cheese and hummus boards. Cheese board was a little lackluster, hummus was better, but all were decently discounted so I didn’t care much. we visited during the changeover from lunch to dinner, was happy to have any food served! Honestly kudos again to the service, every person who touched our table was so attentive with a lovely demeanor. That is what elevates an experience!

I went to The Teahouse Restaurant to celebrate my anniversary with my husband, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. When I made the reservation, I mentioned it was for a special occasion, and from the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everyone was incredibly kind and attentive. We were seated at a beautiful table with an ocean view, which made the evening even more magical. The staff gave us great recommendations, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. It was a beautiful day, and The Teahouse made it feel even more special. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be coming back.

Nestled amidst the lush greenery of Stanley Park, The Teahouse offers a dining experience that's nothing short of magical. From the moment you arrive, the panoramic views of English Bay captivate your senses, setting the stage for an exceptional meal. The ambiance is both elegant and cozy, with attentive staff ensuring every detail is perfect. On my visit, I indulged in the wild Sockeye salmon paired with crab cakes and a delicate lemon-caper purée—a dish as visually stunning as it was delicious . Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking a serene spot to dine, The Teahouse delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the best of Vancouver's culinary scene.

We had an amazing brunch there. The lobster egg Benedict comes with an huge lobster Tail. It was so good. The hollandaise sauce was Perfektion. Great drinks. Our Server John was super attentive and friendly. Beautiful Veranda Seating. Just great. Good price-performance ratio

Google
My experience at this wonderful restaurant could not have been better. Our waiter, John, gave us a detailed history of the building, witty banter and excellent food recommendations. The fish and chips are, as he said, the best in Vancouver. My friend enjoyed an excellent vegan Teahouse Bowl and we had Edamame Hummus for the table. Will recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Stanley Park.

Beautiful setting and great food. The mussels were great. The bread is good here also. The creme brulee is not the best I have had though.

Yelp
We went here in 1986 during Expo 86, and it's still as lovely as we remember. Whether is time for a dramatic sunset, or a cozy day with rain pattering on the glass roof, this is a special place in a special park in a special city. The menu harkens back to traditional time, with dishes like Steak Diane, but also a few modern dishes such as herb-crusted ware albacore. Service was extremely professional, and the entire staff was efficient and welcoming. You can't beat this location for an especially memorable Vancouver meal.

Yelp
My family was visiting Stanley Park and wanted to done while there. I found the Teahouse on yelp! The salmon entree was perhaps some of the salmon my son and I have ever eaten! Excellent food, service, ambiance and the views out to the water was truly a magical memory made!! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Three of us had a very nice dinner here. It is expensive. The quality of the food was good. Nice ample portions with very good flavor. We started with Stuffed Mushrooms which other patrons rave about. We were underwhelmed. They weren't sautéed or even cooked. Heavy on the cream cheese and light on the crab and shrimp. We loved the crispy Brussel Sprouts and the Cauliflower was OK. Two of us had Lamb which was delicious and I had Halibut. Excellent. Service was decent. We enjoyed a nice leisurely evening and may return for a special occasion.

Yelp
We went to Tea House for brunch before visiting the Aquarium with our friends. It was our first time having brunch here! We got a bigger table with two kids at our table and has a clear view of the water. I highly recommend having the mushroom florentine This is the first place that asks us how we want our eggs done even for the benny! I was truly surprised. I thought the fish on the fish and chips in the saltier side but hubby said I have out too much tar tar sauce. I only had one bite so I can't really tell. The fries was good though. I kept eating it(not my plate of food ). Overall, we had a great time especially the baby. He was having so much with with guests at other tables and with the chef. Probably because there was an event there on the day we went. Parking was a bit difficult.

Yelp
The location and vibe of this restaurant is super cute, located in the middle of Stanley Park. Service was good, nothing out of the ordinary. The server did take care of a birthday dessert for my dad which was very appreciated! Now for the food, the shrimp appetizer was definitely my favorite thing that we ordered. The Caesar salad was just okay. For entrees I was super excited about the halibut with a crab crust, however, they did not say that the crab is actually in a cream cheese filling and I do not like cream cheese. My grandma who is lactose intolerant also ordered the halibut which was unfortunate. They were nice enough to take my halibut off of the check because I did not eat it. Overall it is a good location but would not come back.

Yelp
I am in love with this place. I felt i am in some kind of fairy tale. The food was good and service was excellent. Amy helped us who was so helpful, humorous and nice. The ambiance of this place is incredible. Will return for sure

Yelp
Made a reservation the day before, upon recommendation from my sister and her husband who had been there about 10 years ago, we went to the Tea House for Sunday afternoon brunch. Our server Aleksander did a wonderful job taking care of us. Our meals (crabcake Benedict, roasted potatoes and arugula salad) arrived quickly, were beautifully presented and were hot and tasty. It was lovely, with beautiful views all around and it was a nice finale to our time in Vancouver.

Yelp
The service was wonderful, John~ our service attendant was great service! Food was delicious!!!

Yelp
Came here with my dad quite a few years ago. It is located in such an incredibly convenient location in the heart of Stanley Park. We enjoyed some much appreciated lunch and dessert. Despite the name, they serve more than just tea. The staff were very friendly and the scenery was beautiful. I hope to have the opportunity to come here again soon.

M Heather O.

Yelp
The service here was wonderful. Friendly, efficient, and attentive. From the hostess who seated us, the chef who brought our food to our excellent waiter, Ryan an atmosphere of caring was very evident. It also helped that the staff all had good senses of humour and brought smiles to our faces. The ambience was perfect, great views, and pleasant interior. We appreciated the cloth napkins, table cloths and simple touches that made the setting special. We very much enjoyed our meals, with interesting variations on the usual brunch offerings. Restaurant prices have gone sky high, and there seems to be a lot of "shrinkflation" but the portions here were very generous. We walked to and from the Tea House, a lovely walk to a special experience

Yelp
Had a superb brunch today at the Teahouse in Stanley Park. The heritage house and conservatory were beautifully curated with tasteful Christmas decorations. This is a restaurant that understands customer service and the staff (Srjan especially) were exemplary in their service under the direction of "hands on" General Manager Matt McLellan. I thoroughly enjoyed my steelhead salmon cooked perfectly and my BFF savoured her truffle mushroom tart. We can't wait to return, but shhh don't tell everyone.

Yelp
Visited again yesterday and much to my delight we were just as happy. Caesar's are excellent, truffle fries hot and crispy were enough for the two of us to share for our 4 pm "lunch" and then two thumbs up for the margarita. If you arrive like we did between when they serve brunch and dinner on the weekend, you can still get the small sharing plates/ snacks and drinks. Stunning view and super friendly service.

Yelp
We went here for dinner during the Dine Out festival. All the dishes we had tasted pretty good except for the dessert. Service was great. Parking is free after 6pm which is a nice bonus. Overall, food is on the pricier side based on the quality of food you're getting, but I guess you are pretty much paying for the ambiance. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. It's a great place to go to for special occasions.

Yelp
Food and Service was the best i've had recently. We had the best salmon and the desert, chocolate bomb is something i can't wait to come back for.

Yelp
I was slightly confused at the name "Teahouse", but make no mistake, they serve some real and pretty good food here You don't go out of your way here for just the food alone - but it's location, ambiance, and general vibe is just the perfect way to top off your bike ride or stroll around Stanley Park. This is the perfect way to reward yourself after an active morning/afternoon. Would I Recommend to Try? Yes Ambiance- 10/10 Food Taste- 7/10 Service- 9/10 Date Worthy- 10/10 Value- 9/10

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. Always go here for a nice dinner and they never disappoint. I would highly recommend the lunch prix fixe menu with a set price of $49. The food is great quality and the service is incredible. Pro tip let the server know if there is an occasion. Every time I've gone they gave us complementary cake of Champaign. Also everyone must try their stuffed mushroom starter, it's a game changer
google avatar

Yelp
This was our first time here even though we've been to Stanley Park many times over the past seven years, we were quite surprised and impressed. The menu is very interesting, and the dishes were quite good, and the portions were large. We expected a lot less from a place in Stanley Park, more like a tourist trap, but we were surprised it was a nice place highly recommend you go there when in in Stanley Park.

Yelp
First time in Vancouver and on business travel. First off, credit should be given where credit is due: this place is BEAUTIFUL. It is a little hard to get to, especially if you are planning to drink and use shared rides. I came here with my coworkers for a business dinner so it was hard to focus on properly accessing the food. But from what I remember it was overall a bit salty to my Korean palate. I would still come back here for a better assessment personally as I still believe the real estate and service itself was worth it.
google avatar

Fred W.

Yelp
This place is definitely for special occasions. The food is great, although I'm not a huge fan of their steak. We retuned it whole and of course it was not comped on the bill! The rack of lamb and Truffle Fries were awesome and will likely be my go-to menu items when I return. The lemon sorbet was a great palate cleanser. The service is great (when you can get it). They had 1 person covering the whole dining area the night I visited, so service was a bit of a challenge. The ambiance is nice and is typical of a romantic or special event location. I will definitely return to get an even better service experience. The location is marvelous!
google avatar

Yelp
Don't be fooled by the name! This place doesn't serve afternoon tea but instead it serves bomb fine dining food at a reasonable price. We made a spontaneous stop for dinner here (best decision ever) and it was during sunset hours so the view was gorgeous! Since we were not too hungry, I ordered one entree (lamb chops) and an appetizer (stuffed mushroom) to share with my mom. To my pleasant surprise - they noted that and split our entree in two plates in even portions and beautifully plated. We thought that was such a thoughtful gesture and made sharing food so much easier. Overall, the food was amazing. Loved the ambiance. The only downsides are paid parking and there were too many moths in the restaurant due to the greens surrounding it, but that's nothing to dock stars for. Definitely love to come back again!

Shane H.

Yelp
We went there for brunch on our wedding anniversary. It's a beautiful place with lots of natural light and a beautiful view of Stanley park and the ocean. The food was good and the service was excellent.

Yelp
I have not had any surf & turf as well prepared with succulent mussels and shrimps. The strip loin steak was exceptionally juicy. Well seasoned and perfectly done - medium. Service was 5-start rating.
google avatar

Rosi A.

Yelp
It does not have to be over the top or super exquisite or original to be perfect. And the brunch here on my bd somehow turned out absolutely perfect. It was that lucky combination of great weather (of my favorite type - a pleasantly warm-but-not-hot, sunny, colorful September weekend), a little table in the patio under all the trees, the peekaboo views of the water, attentive and fun service, and a simple meal that was prepared with love. It almost felt like I was visiting an old friend, sitting in her garden and being treated to a brunch that she just whipped up in her kitchen. The hour or so at the Teahouse will be a treasured highlight of this visit to Vancouver.

Monique C.

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed our date night & John was a fantastic waiter. This is a great place to come for a nice night out.
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful ambiance, delicious menu and amazing service makes this restaurant a must. A great date place especially at sunset.

Yelp
This restaurant was very charming in terms of atmosphere. But we were underwhelmed with the food; it was okay, but really nothing special. The taste of the food didn't live up to the visual appeal and presentation. The Lobster Bisque tasted nothing like lobster, and fact didn't taste like much of anything. On the other hand, the stuffed mushrooms were really yummy. Hubby got the Rack of Lamb, and I got the Steak Diane. Our meals were only "fine." However, the potatoes (pavé de pommes de terre) were very delicious -- so much so that when we got home I immediately started looking for a recipe to make it at home. Cocktails and desserts were similarly "okay." A nice place to come, perhaps, for drinks or apps or dessert, but I don't think we would come back for a full meal, as it was an awful lot to pay for "meh."
google avatar

Debbie C.

Yelp
We tried getting a reservation for this place, but they were all booked up. Until the next visit to Vancouver.
google avatar

Dave H.

Yelp
Very disappointed. The offering included an undercooked filet and undercooked vegetables which included 2 whole carrots, broccoli and chard. One of our filets was sinewy and difficult to cut and chew. On the plus side, the pavé de pommes de terre (a version of scalloped potatoes) was very good as was the table location and staff. A free champagne starter was also provided to recognize our 41st anniversary. At the end of the day, the serving was the problem, and that is one of the main reasons why we go out to dine.
google avatar

Norman L.

Yelp
I do recommend this place for the food, service and ambiance. I wished they served high tea brunch on the weekends. Aren't they supposed to serve tea at the tea house??
google avatar

A C.

Yelp
Overpriced and mediocre food. The service was average. I got the steak frites, and it was decent.

Jax S.

Yelp
The hostess had a horrible attitude and refused to seat us even though the restaurant was empty. The other hostesses was super nice and was about to seat us when this lady alleged that they had no tables. The restaurant should be aware that these type of employees can detrimentally affect their businesses. Such a shame because the restaurant is beautiful and the ambiance seemed very nice.

Tamara A.

Yelp
The service was appalling. for this calibre of dining I shouldn't have to get up to go get water refill and wine. the food was pretty good but my rissto was warm and the plate was cold. the manager came to apologize and didn't clear plates while she apologized and walked away empty handed. wow just wow!
google avatar

Lindsey G.

Yelp
There are two types of good restaurants: the kind you come to for the food and the kind you come to for the service (and I'm talking the kind of service where you darn near want to invite the waiter to join you because they're so personable and attentive). Very rarely do those realms cross. When John is your server and you're eating at the Teahouse in Stanley Park - you've found that perfect experience. Not to mention a gorgeous environment! From the moment we arrived, we had the loveliest hostess. She was able to seat us early on the patio so we got to enjoy the gorgeous sunset. From the minute we met John, we knew we were in for a treat. From the first bite, we realized we were in for a whole experience. We started with the burrata and cheese plate. Both spectacular. The crostini accompanying the cheese plate had some sort of heavenly olive oil on it that we failed to get the name of, but that I'm sure to dream about for the rest of my life. I had the halibut. There aren't words, really, to describe just how delicious it was. My friend ordered the broccolini and truffle fries. Both amazing. But by far the best truffle fries I've ever had. And the Dijon aioli (best guess) was superb. We also ended up with the Brussels sprouts and that was a whole new experience. I love Brussels sprouts, and these were no exception, but I've never had them prepared quite this way. To finish, there was the lemon tarte, the chocolate Milano cake, and crème brûlée. The lemon tarte was perfectly refreshing. The chocolate Milano cake was decadent. And the crème brûlée? I've only ever had it better one time in the whole of my existence (and I've had A LOT of crème brûlée. At the end of the day, while the food was some of the best we've ever had (and will certainly hold fond memories for years to come), John's charisma, knowledge of the menu, and overall service will stay with us. It was the kind of meal when you're sad you don't live locally, so you know you won't see him again unless you make a trip back to Vancouver. Needless to say, I'll be making a trip back to Vancouver. If only to hang out with John again (and to get more of that crème brûlée).
google avatar

Michelle K.

Yelp
Nicely located but overpriced and food was mediocre like other reviews said. 3 plates and a beer for $90 and as soon as we ran the credit card with 20% tip the waitress walked away without a thank you for have a nice day and ignored us on the way out that was bizarre.
google avatar

Tobias F.

Yelp
Location is awesome of course but food and service have become mediocre...$48 halibut half raw, with bones...wild mushroom ravioli no mushroom flavor whatsoever l, (probably store bought cremini), service inattentive, missing orders...won't come back but spend my $500 elsewhere
google avatar

Yelp
One of my most favorite places to eat! Really loved the outside sitting with the beautiful scenery while you eat. Stanley park in really big so I'm sure there are other places in the area but so far this was my favorite. Food: We have the salmon burger with bacon and The brussels sprouts with bacon. Yes obviously you can tell i love bacon! Lol The salmon burger was delicious, It was a nice big piece of salmon with greens, onions sauce I added. Brussels sprouts were grilled perfection and sweetened with maple syrup. Which was great because it wasn't too much but it overpowered was more like a small drizzle. Parking: I'm honestly not sure how to get here beside the bus this was only my first time here and if the only way I got here. I think there was a parking lot but I don't quite remember I apologize for not having this information. When I go back I will update us

Yelp
After a few negative experiences at tourist attractions based restaurants, I was not optimistic walking into the Teahouse on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. From the moment I sat down, the experience was nothing but positive. (The hostess did miss greeting me at the door, even though I paused and then walked to my table as they arrived earlier.) Our server was friendly but not pushy. As part of his job, he politely tried to upsell by offering sparkling water, but he did also offer tap water in the same sentence. After the order was placed, bread was delivered to the table. I'm nitpicking but not knowing that bread is usually offered, we took on the waiter's offer to order freshly baked croissants. I'm not complaining because the croissants were excellent with that flaky crust that makes you want to pick up every single little piece that dropped onto the break plate. Then came the Manhatten style clam chowder. You can taste and smell the freshness of all the ingredients - the veggies and the clams. A hearty start. Our party ordered a wide variety of brunch entrees and they all looked fantastic. First, all were beautifully presented. Second, the portions were big. But third, and of course, the most important, the food tasted great! My eggs benny was certainly a step up from your standard. The eggs were especially fresh, the English muffins were not overly done, the sausage was meaty, and the ham was so rich in flavour. Other guests at the table had waffles, ducks, fish and chips and steak and eggs. All received good reviews from its "consumers". The main thing that allowed this is service and the attitude each server displayed. Very professional, courteous, knowledgeable (although I did accidentally trip one up by asking him the name of the fresh flowers on our table). This is night and day compared to another restaurant at a tourist spot that I reviewed. Very nice experience in the end. My 2+ hours there did not feel long at all.

Isabel L.

Yelp
The waiter was very rude. He spoke impolitely and sarcastically to my mom because he knew that she can't understand English. My mom even didn't speak to him, just talked to me when he served our table. Very bad dinner experience with a kind of insult. The food is not bad but isn't worth to the high price. We will never come back.

Chris K.

Yelp
We came back to the Teahouse after a longish absence and we forgot what a beautiful setting this is. We started our evening with a lovely Pouilly-Fuissé (actually pretty reasonably priced) and some classic Teahouse Stuffed Mushrooms. If you haven't had these before you can't die until you do. Crab, shrimp, cream cheese made into a decadent filling for delicious mushrooms. Our entrees were pan seared steelhead salmon (very good but steelhead is too mild for me) and Miso Glazed Sablefish. This was possibly the best fish I have ever eaten. Buttery, perfectly cooked and the miso was a lovely accent. We closed dinner with crème brûlée that was a 4 out of 5 star dessert. John, our waiter, helped us to really enjoy the dinner. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Great position, had food there with friends and we played badminton in front of the yard. The steak is tasty, definitely recommended, the only drawback is u have to drive around almost the whole Stanley park to get there.

Taylor A.

Yelp
my bridal shower was here on April 8 and we had the most amazing service from everyone we encountered! our server John was amazing, he was perfect and a couple of good jokes and made the ladies laugh. the hostess's and bartender that day were also amazing. we were able to decorate the table with the cutest vintage tea cups which we brought and candles and flowers and chargers. they let us stay longer than 2 hours even, we were there on a Monday at 230pm so it wasn't busy luckily so we were able to stay and chat as long as we wanted. the staff was so professional and easy going with any requests we had. highly recommend this place!! the food was also phenomenal.

Yelp
Came here for late lunch @ the Teahouse in Stanley Park. Décor was nice inside and out. We were seated inside for a group of six people. Sat close by the fireplace where it was quite warm! Service was good and very friendly staff.. Appetizers - mussels and calamari - delicious along with the bread. Save some bread or ask for more to dip in the mussels broth. Main courses: Caesar salad, salmon with salad, fish n chips, burgers. all the dishes were good...though full to have dessert. Definitely not cheap eating here in Stanley Park, so lunch better than having dinner here for us. Will be back again next time we're here.

Yelp
Have nothing much to say about the food here as I didn't taste anything. I just had a cappuccino which was not upto my mark of good cup of coffee. I Stopped at the view point while walking in stanley park. The tea house is right there so i stepped in to have a good cup of coffee while watching the sun to set. Restaurant is a beautiful place with all glass windows overlooking the ocean and west Vancouver houses on the right. Spectacular sunset view if the sky is clear. Overall presentation of the restaurant is very classy. Well spoken and presentable staff. Will visit again.

Yelp
I had a wonderful experience from start to finish from the food quality and service. We had a small birthday party celebration and our server was very attentive, friendly, and professional. The premise took all of the necessary steps to make sure that we're social distancing, signage were clear, and many hand sanitizer are easily accessible. Parking may be a pain but I decided to prepaid using the app I found on the restaurant's website, a bit pricey it was all worth it because it was a breeze to find the parking spot. The canapés were wonderful and it was great to fill the gaps before dinner was served. My only complained was the prawn appetizer/canapés were so drenched in too much horseradish mayo that I still tasted it when I ate my salad. I had the caesar salad and the duck confit for dinner. The highlight of the caesar salad was that nice thin crouton on top, the salad was a bit too dressed to my liking but it was still good. The duck confit was so tender and the skin was nice and crisp. It went well with the seasonal vegetables and roasted potatoes. Overall it was an excellent experience!

Yelp
Great ambience and delicious food! Would recommend if you're looking for a fresh meal in a great setting!

Yelp
I have been to the Teahouse every November 6th for the last three years with my wife, for our anniversary. Each time I have been blown away by the quality of service. The location is beautiful, with spectacular views of the Salish Sea and lovely sunsets when the weather is clear. This year our server's name was John, and he was really welcoming. Made us feel very welcome and comfortable, and was very thorough in making sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, and we left feeling very satisfied. A big thank-you to John and the rest of the staff at the Teahouse for making our five year anniversary so special!

Yelp
We had a party there in a private room with the view of the ocean looking out into the garden. The food was great, service was very good, given we accepted the $30 per bottle corking fee. Its a romantic place to have dinner with the charcuterie board as an appetizer, and the choices of Grilled halibut, New York Bone-in 16 Oz steak, and the Mushroom stuffed conchiglie, and dessert of Chocolate Milano cake.

Yelp
Fine Dining in a Park - Part Two Teahouse is located in the Ferguson Point area of the World famous Stanley Park. This is actually one of the more serene areas in the park, away from most tour buses and large crowds. It is also near the Ferguson Point entry point of the Vancouver Seawall so you have no excuse not to take a beautiful walk after a hearty meal to burn off some calories. This restaurant is owned and operated by the Sequoia Company of Restaurants, which is the same parent company of Seasons in the Park (please see Part One). So after a very positive experience at Seasons, we have to give Teahouse a go. KASSLER PORK AND APPLE SAUSAGE BENEDICT: This is on the brunch menu available on weekends only. Kassler pork is a salt-cured pork loin which is a leaner cut than Canadian bacon. The texture of the meat was excellent as it was typically less processed than ham or bacon. It had a slight to moderate smoke flavor which was more on the subtle side. The apple sausage tasted like it was pork based and was slightly sweet with apple and some other (maple, maybe?) flavors. The sausage skin was paper-thin (nice!) and you could really bite into it to create a burst of yumminess. The eggs were nicely poached with the whites completely cooked and the yolk warm and liquidy. The Hollandaise sauce was rich and delicious. The final touches of the Benny were fresh baby asparagus and sautéed baby white rose and purple potatoes. This was truly a memorable dish as every component was perfectly executed. TEAHOUSE STUFFED MUSHROOMS: The mushrooms were stuffed with a mixture of shrimp and crab meats and topped with a very generous portion of cream cheese - in fact, a bit too generous as we felt that there were too much cheese (a bit overwhelming) and not enough meat. The stuffing itself was a bit bland and with a fishiness taste. The final touches were garnishes of fresh arugula leaves sprinkled on top of the dish. Overall, this app was ok but not impressive.

Yelp
Check every bite of your food twice, since the kitchen staff are not capable of delivering clean and fresh products to your table! Yes! I found at least 2 raspberries with mold in my over priced bowl of granola. And you know whats worse? That they acted like its not such a big deal! I don't want to imagine what this people are used to serve on plates!
