Google
The cinnamon rolls were the best thing on their menu to me. Next would be the chocolate croissant, but since I love dark chocolate, the chocolate was too sweet for me to absolutely love it. The brisket kolache is better than the sausage, but both aren't my favorite bc I tend to like softer kolache breading and these were more like a loaf of bread. Overall, the people are friendly and it's a decent place to try out.

Google
Who knew a tiny little truck could pack such a punch! I arrived right at opening and we were only able to grab their last 3 brisket kolaches!! They are soo good and so worth getting up early for! You might want to just preorder online to secure yours! I also got a few of their cinnamon rolls fresh out of the oven! The also had a croissant roll that was so insanely delicious!! Great coffee and teas!! Definitely worth the trip!

Google
Great cinnamon rolls! Fresh and super soft you can really taste the butter and cinnamon in these rolls. I also tried the brisket kolache which was ok but not my type of kolache. The taste was fine the meat was a bit dry ((I ate it later in the day)) but the bbq sauce helped with that. Also mine only had a little bit of cheese in the first bite. Overall great experience I would definitely go back for the cinnamon roll.

Google
Friendly, great taste, overall satisfied with my first time here. Note: I only ordered an Americano cup of coffee, and a cinnamon roll. They were out of the chocolate crossiant. Would advise checking out their website or social media to see what is available before you go.

Google
I can’t say enough good things about Teal House! They have provided my daily caffeine fix, yummy bites, catering service and supplied pies and goodies for our out of town guests and holiday gatherings! They never disappoint!! Highly recommended!

Becky

Google
Not too bad of a pastry. The only thing is that these cinnamon rolls are on the salty side and it was unexpected in a not so great way. Other than that, it was ok.

Selene Yarrow

Google
This place is totally amazing !! I’ve been here twice now and they legitimately have the best pastries I’ve ever had. Big recommend!!

Lindsey Ross

Google
This place is amazing! My husband and son have gluten sensitivities and they LOVE the cinnamon rolls. Tried the apple pie for the first time today and my husband ate some of it before I even had a chance to take a picture of it (it was a gorgeous pie)! Thank you for allowing them to have some of the simple pleasures the rest of us enjoy anytime!

Yelp
This is the l9cation on main street in Buda. Wonderful pastries. Cinnamon roll outstanding. Almond croissant outstanding. Chocolate croissant outstanding. Sour dough bread loaf outstanding. Sausage colache so-so.

Yelp
Everything was wonderful from the drinks, the coffee and the snacks!! Just wish better choices were available from the food trucks Not the best.

Yelp
After seeing all the hype for Teal House, I finally made the trek to Slaughter Lane this weekend to try a gluten-free cinnamon roll, which is only available Fridays and Saturdays or by advance order. I highly recommend calling ahead because we were literally there before they threw open their cute food truck window at 7:30a, and it seemed like they already had "reservations" and all the gluten-free cinnamon rolls spoken for. Someone in the back asked how many I needed and when I said 1, they said they could swing it. The food truck is adorable, the team is sweet and friendly, the picnic table outside is nice. The coffee was good. The F part of F&B was a bit lacking. I am having a hard time writing this review because I want to support local businesses and there's so much hype and momentum behind Teal House that they're soon opening a storefront - congratulations and I'm so happy for them. Take it with a grain of salt and as a limited review of only the gluten-free option - it was dry and not my favorite. I do appreciate them trying.

Yelp
If you're reading reviews for Teal House right now let me stop you right there: Go to Teal House and order the cinnamon rolls ASAP. They're that good. I don't even eat cinnamon rolls and they're that good. Teal House is incredible... and if you try it once you'll 100% be coming back.

Yelp
Not a bad drip coffee. Ran into them during sxsw and they were having a giveaway. I liked it enough ti go back and this time I got something creamy. If you need a caffeine fix it's worth your time.

Yelp
So glad we have this great coffee and pastry spot in southeast austin! They have the best craft coffee and all the yummy pastries you could want. It's super popular so enjoy ordering online in advance. Will be a frequent flyer

Yelp
Really nice staff. Unique kolache combinations. My sausage and jalapeno came straight out of the oven. Hot damn, that was so good! Everything tastes fresh! Hope a brick and mortar shop is in the near future.

Yelp
Full disclosure, the only thing I have eaten from here is the cinnamon roll, but I am confident that even if every other thing they make is bad (doubtful) that they still deserve five stars. That is how amazing these cinnamon rolls are. You know the way cinnamon rolls used to look in commercials growing up? Gooey and glistening and perfectly fluffy, that perfect swirl of cinnamon? And then when you made them out of those terrifying cardboard tubes that exploded open they always looked sad and deflated? These cinnamon rolls will redeem that childhood disappointment ten fold. They are everything you always hoped cinnamon rolls would be: fluffy, gooey, warm, cinnamony, comforting. Simply perfect. I don't know what else to say to convince you to go eat these cinnamon rolls, but just go do it. You won't regret it, I promise.

Yelp
I have been stalking Teal House for quite some time, and its a drive from Manor for sure...But well worth it for us....I actually found a route (Back Roads) all the way from Manor to avoid I35....Super friendly and there Denver Bronco Fan (Had my gear on)....They would get an extra star for that if I could....Had to get a few thing to try them out....2 Coffees, 1 Ham and Cheese Croissant, Brisket Kolache, Chocolate Croissant and 2 Cinnamon Rolls...Those layers in the Croissants are just plain insane...peel it layer by layer...Everything was So good, and we are so excited when they move to there new Brick and Mortar...We will see you soon!!

Yelp
Yum! Such a great spot for breakfast-on-the-go! We stopped by a couple of times because the food was THAT good. I ordered an iced latte, a jalapeño sausage kolache, brisket kolache, and cinnamon roll. It was all delicious! I highly recommend the brisket kolache with the BBQ sauce.

Yelp
Finally got to try this place after all the rave about their cinnamon rolls, and let me tell you people are right about it! These rolls are DELICIOUS! They taste better than any roll I've ever had. They have the perfect amount of cinnamon and frosting. I also had their special of the day, peppermint mocha latte and while it did taste good, I do feel that it was lacking a bit on the peppermint. I would still go back though and try their other delicious sounding coffee options and their kolaches and croissants.

Teale R.

Yelp
My name is Teale so automatically I was hoping to love the place! However the food was alright but I love the vibe. The matcha was not the best but would go back to study.

Yelp
We are from Jersey. This place was recommended to us by our Airbnb. They have the best coffee. We tried the cinnamon roll, blueberry muffin and breakfast croissant. We tried other places and no exaggeration they had the BEST COFFEE. Everything is super fresh. The owner is the nicest person. The staff is just beyond phenomenal. It's a well kept business, very clean. The bathroom was even clean. My three year old was walking around with his toy but for the most part quiet and they were super nice/understanding about it. Definitely a must stop in Austin, Texas for breakfast.

Ashley S.

Yelp
I wanted a tasty bite to eat and a great cup of coffee. TEAL HOUSE did not disappoint !! Not only was the croissant perfectly flaky & buttery but the coffee was super high quality brew and beans ! Dont miss out on this awesome lil spot !

Yelp
Come here for the cinnamon rolls! I read that Teal House has the best cinnamon rolls in Austin and...they do! Well, I haven't tried that many cinnamon rolls in town, but these are the best cinnamon rolls I've tasted. They are perfectly most, great cinnamon flavor throughout the roll, and the icing is cream cheese based (I think) so it isn't sickly sweet like in store-bought rolls. In short, it was perfection. I'm already trying to figure out when I can get more - they were that good. The reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is for a couple reasons. The other pastries we got were okay, not great. The blueberry lemon and cherry kolaches had great filling, but the filling was small compared to the pastry breading around it, and that part lacked flavor. I haven't had a kolache before, so maybe I'm just not a kolache fan, but this didn't convert me. I also ordered a chocolate almond croissant, but was given a plain almond croissant instead. Not a big deal, I like almond croissants, but it was a little too oily for my taste. Also, ordering online was easy, but pickup was a bit weird. They tell you to go to the pickup window, but I stood there for awhile and no one came to the window and I felt awkward, so then I went to the ordering window but there was a line, so I ended up waiting longer. The pickup process could be smoother. None of that deters me from wanting to visit again though. I will definitely be back, I will definitely be ordering more cinnamon rolls, and I will definitely try some other pastries too. No matter where you live in Austin, this place is worth the drive!

Yelp
If it was possible to do half stars, I would do 4.5, taking off a half star for the business being named TEAL House while being in a RED food truck. They almost didn't get my business this morning because that logical boggle made them incredibly hard for me to find. The food was delicious. 6 cinnamon rolls of a good "one will do you" breakfast size for around $10 with tax. Not big as your head, if you want that plan to eat two. I could have eaten two (or ten) but one was also a perfectly good place to stop. NOTE: this place lives next to the mini-golf place. Put the mini golf place or the gas station in your maps if you're coming from west Slaughter, because otherwise your phone GPS will tell you to turn left too early into the IDEA school which is not where to park UPDATED: I have since been back twice, once for take and bake and once for kolaches, and both experiences were delicious. I think it might be impossible to go wrong getting breakfast fast here. Still haven't tried the coffee. One day.

Yelp
As a visitor to Austin, I searched "gluten free" on Yelp and found Teal House. My companion was anxious to try the cinnamon rolls and we bought a number of regular cinnamon buns for the rest of the family. We also bought a couple of coconut oat bars for the flight home. The gluten free rolls were only ok but honestly, it's very difficult to find excellent gluten free baked goods. The regular buns, however, were outstanding and the decaf coffee was very good and better than the hotel served. The food truck was newish and looked very clean. There was ample parking and relative to our hotel and our daughter's home, it was a reasonable drive for us. I see how it could be a long haul from northern Austin. I called to verify that gf buns were available today but I hung up at the start of voicemail. After a few minutes they called to ask how they could help. That's incredible customer service and helped boost my rating.

Yelp
The best lattes and chai lattes, tried them for the first time at LIFEAustin, can't wait to try them again.

Yelp
The Teal house was at the Mac and Cheese festival this Sunday, and they were hands down the a) best cinnamon rolls we've ever had and b) our favorite thing there! We went back twice just to be sure. :) If you're looking for an amazing cinnamon roll, check this place out! Perfect balance of sweet, soft and amazing! I wish I didn't live in New Braunfels bc my child needs these in his life!
google avatar

Jennie V.

Yelp
This place about to blow up. Tied with the best coffee I've had in Austin. They also have really great ham and cheese croissants! Only problem is sometimes their latte maker doesn't work so call ahead. Also, I'm here on a Saturday morning at 10 am and their truck is gone. Not sure why but I guess the lesson here is call first to find out where the truck is and if they have what you want.

Yelp
Lance and his team reached out privately in response to my first review. He was grateful for the feedback, acknowledged the the internal miscommunication, and offered to make it right. I went in today and the staff were kind and generous. I had a blueberry cream kolache which was delicious. It's the small things like this that make a difference in which businesses I support. I look forward to more delicious experiences at Teal House.

Chris K.

Yelp
If you want the best cinnamon roll....and other goodies...in town, then Teal House is a must. The staff is always warm and inviting and treat you like you are family. The coffee is amazing as well!! No matter if you are looking for a quiet place to work or a spot to hang with friends this is the place. Breakfast, lunch and snack options are all available. Take some home to the family or to the office for your co-workers. This is an experience you don't want to miss....trust me.

Yelp
MUST TRY THE VEGAN CINNAMON ROLLS I brought some into work and they were the talk of the office. It seems to be family-owned and they were all super nice and accommodating to my special requests. I will be getting some more pretty soon. It is very close to my girlfriend's apartment Hope to see more vegan options someday and the prices to come down but these CR are the best I've had, hands down. P.s. Sorry mom! Yours are still great!
google avatar

Yelp
It would have been nice if they warmed up the food but other than that we would try it again if we were in the area.

Yelp
Running on 4-5 hours of sleep a night raising a tiny human requires a LOT of coffee. So, trust me when I say I drink a LOT of coffee, and I know the good stuff when I taste it. This is the good stuff. Also, the cinnamon roll (Cassia) croissant could substitute for sex; the Cassia croissant, is too, the good stuff. I got the Salted Caramel Latte with oat milk and it was perfect. As mentioned above, I also got the Cassia croissant, and it had me doing that weird head-swerve dance every time I took a bite. So good. Since Teal House is on the way to drop off my son at daycare, they should probably brace themselves to see my coffee & baked goods-fiending face Monday-Friday. Maybe on weekends too, bc why would I not drink coffee and eat delicious baked goods on the two best days of every week?
google avatar

Keli M.

Yelp
An amazing Austin Gem! Delicious coffee, addictive cinnamon rolls (gluten free available), and savory sausage and cheese kolaches are just a few of my faves. Everyone is always super nice, and everything is made with love.
google avatar

Angie A.

Yelp
Someone told me that the Spot had the best cinnamon rolls and croissants in Austin. I had to go check it out for myself. Bottom line they're amazing. Can't say I've really found a croissant this good in a while. And the cinnamon buns are top-notch
google avatar

Linda N.

Yelp
Sampled their cinnamon rolls, sweet kolaches, their jalapeno sausage kolaches, their cheese sausage kolaches, key lime pie, apple pie, and honey nut latte. All yummy! Faves were their sweet cheese kolache, and jalapeno sausage kolache! Their trailer is brand new but they have a long following from their cottage business days. Enjoy the much-needed shade over the picnic tables at the putt-putt park right next to them!
google avatar

Yelp
Was looking for a good place to get pastries for my bridesmaids and I to eat while getting ready for my wedding. They fit exactly what I was looking for. I love croissants and I love cinnamon rolls. Even better they have a croissant cinnamon roll... or wait a cinnamon roll croissant that's it! Everything was super fresh and tasty!
google avatar

Breonna R.

Yelp
Great service ! They just opened up two weeks ago! Originally a food truck for four years and known for their cinnamon rolls
google avatar

Cindy W.

Yelp
Pretty long wait because they have one barista. I waited 20 minutes for two drinks. Two other people just standing around. I usually don't mind except the people weren't very friendly at all. I guess you really should pre order, but they seemed behind on those too The to go container was covered in sticky syrup If you order multiple drinks be warned, they don't label the cups And most importantly, the pastries just were not good. The cinnamon roll frosting was strangely salty and the kolaches were so doughy in the middle. That's a no for me
google avatar

David V.

Yelp
Fantastic pastries and friendly people. Love their cold brew coffee. Brisket kolache is great and the barbecue sauce that comes with it it is too.
google avatar

Heather B.

Yelp
I had always passed their food truck on the way to work, I heard they had the #1 cinnamon roll and they really might! I also had a sausage kolache and it was great too. I met the nice owner that day.
google avatar

Jenny S.

Yelp
I happened across this bakery on Instagram and I am soooo glad I did! Hands down one of the most delicious things I've ever had was the cinnamon roll croissant! Just imagine a cinnamon roll and croissant combined. The owners went above and beyond to make enough treats for me to spoil my entire office. Stop by this place immediately and grab yourself a treat, believe me you won't regret it!! Plus how cool is a bakery in a food truck?!
google avatar

Jeanette C.

Yelp
I continue to come here to try new things, and because I want to be a regular So first update: Brisket Kolaches!! Omg my favorite. Didn't know I was missing this in life. Maybe I shouldn't brag about them too much, or they'll always be sold out. I don't go super early when they open so usually they've had to bake some up, but I sure don't mind waiting for them. Plus, they come out nice and fresh from the oven. I'm obsessed! Today, was Friday Dessert night from 6pm-8pm. Can't rave about this more. I love bread pudding so when I heard cinnamon roll bread pudding I had to try it out. So glad I got 2 slices. Some for now, more for later. Husband loved the apple pie slice I brought him because he likes more of an apple crisp than pie & this is a good mix of both, and my son loved his banana cream pie. I got to taste it, and I must say I'm an instant fan of the banana cream pie as well. I'm not even big on bananas so I was hesitant to try it, but it was delicious. If you like southern banana pudding why wouldn't you like banana cream pie? So there you have it. Pretty sure you can't go wrong with anything you try here. It's one of those places you gotta keep coming back to, and try the rest of the menu.

Yelp
Living a mile away, I had definitely seen this food truck before. And then I started hearing my neighbors talk about it like crazy. The fresh baked goods, the cinnamon rolls, the coffee, the kolaches... it just went on and on. Today, I finally had the opportunity to try this place....and it is AMAZING. Their coffee is top notch, and it is hard to find good coffee in this area. I am super picky about my coffee, but their Honey Nut Latte was the perfect blend of sweetness while not feeling like you were drinking a frappuccino. I can't wait to try the other coffee they have on their menu. Unfortunately, they were sold out of their cinnamon rolls which was a bummer. I decided to get a jalapeno sausage and cheese kolache and it was amazing. You could tell that the bread was freshly made with love and care. The sausage was awesome and was filled with so much flavor. I bought some for a friend who declared it as the "best kolache she had ever had". I can't wait to try their other baked goods. I do have one small complaint, the limited hours. Since I leave super early for work at 6 am and get back in the early afternoon, I often times didn't get the opportunity to try Teal House. I only hope that as more people rave about this place, business will pick up and hours will increase. Until then, I'll be a Saturday regular since they aren't open on Sundays. Welcome to the neighborhood Teal House, I know you will do very very well here.

Yelp
Stopped by today to pick up a cinnamon roll and two iced coffees! Baked Goods: My boyfriend is a huge cinnamon roll fan so I've been meaning to pick one of these up for him. He told me he gives them a 5/5! These are a little smaller than some others you'll find around Austin (so order more than one if you're feeling hungry), but well priced. There's a slight salty note in the frosting that is different than anything else he's tasted. We also have a gluten free family member that we would love to take here in the weekend (who's also a cinnamon roll lover). They also have croissants and kolaches that look pretty yummy as well. Coffee: The iced coffees are also really good, and they have a capability to make quite a few different drinks. Will try next time. Covid: They are open for pick up during covid until 1pm. Both servers are wearing masks and doing non touch payments. You may want to call ahead to Lance to confirm hours during the weekday while everything is still in lockdown. Overall: They have a small little red truck in south Austin that's worth the trip! Definitely worth trying out!

Nate F.

Yelp
are you looking for cinnamon rolls? Stop whatever it is you're thinking about and head over to the teal house. They are the best cinnamon rolls in Austin, no contest. All the employees here are exceptionally kind. I highly recommend the teal house for all of your pastry and coffee desires!
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
I stopped by to try the cinnamon rolls and jalapeño sausage kolaches. Both items were awesome and I will definitely be going back. The coffee was pretty good too. I didn't have to wait long in line either.
google avatar

Peter D.

Yelp
In heaven, I will be able to eat as many of Lance's cinnamon buns and still dunk a basketball. Until then, I can lower the rim. Seriously though! So delicious! And kudos to the barista . . . I made a really unique request and she was super kind, and then nailed the drink order. Let's go!!!!
google avatar

Natalie F.

Yelp
Tasty, creamy coffee, melt in your mouth cinnamon rolls, and homemade pies are just a few of our favorite things about Teal House. The customer service is top notch and always so friendly and welcoming. It really is your friendly neighborhood coffee trailer. Pay them a visit and order one of everything on the menu, you won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Olivia O.

Yelp
Amazing coffee and pastries, and the guys who work here are SO NICE! This was my first time trying a kolache. The brisket kolache was mouth watering & tender. Somehow my order got messed up and they still gave me a chocolate croissant on the house.
google avatar

David G.

Yelp
The food was tasty, but the portion sizes are extremely small for the price. We ordered a Turkey croissant and a brisket kolache.
google avatar

Vara P.

Yelp
I've only been to the truck, not the new location. They're next to my neighborhood, and I always have a good experience. Everyone on staff is so friendly! They're a treat to talk to. For coffee and service alone, I'd give 5 stars. For their Cassia Croissant I'd give 5 stars. For their other treats, that's where I knock one star off. The cinnamon rolls are OK. Some other kolaches that I've gotten I've received with raw dough centers. BUT their Cassia Croissant has never disappointed. It's like a cinnamon roll and croissant combined. I actually love it more than a cinnamon roll. So, for coffee and the cassia croissant, and lovely staff - 5 stars. You may be disappointed if you get a partially raw kolache, or if their cinnamon rolls aren't the style that you like.
google avatar

Melanie M.

Yelp
The foodie in me says run to tealhouse right now for one of the best cinnamon rolls in town. I literally drove 30 minutes each way to pick these up during quarantine and would do it again. Decadent, gooey, moist, warm, YUM. The cream cheese frosting has a tiny hint of salt which makes these not too sweet. I ordered some kolaches and wow, yes. The sausage was good but the brisket and cheddar with bbq sauce was to. Die. For. The dough is warm, fresh and homemade.
google avatar

Janelle L.

Yelp
This is one of my go-to places on the weekends! Amazing kolaches and cinnamon rolls. Great coffee. The best thing about this place is how great the people who work here, treat you! I've always had incredible service and I always leave with a smile. Thanks you guys! *just wish they were open 24 hours a day lol* they are awesome!
google avatar

Charles S.

Yelp
New favorite coffee and bakery spot. We tried the cinnamon roll and noelle croissant for the sweet component -- the brisket kolache for the savory. Phenomenal. Cooked well, everything just made sense on a dish and sitting on your tongue. Honestly didn't want to leave... and we almost didn't. We stuck around, ate there, and played minigolf next door for a round. Definitely a place you should check out when you have people over or need something fun to do and "good grub" on your checklist for the day. This spot does the trick.

Antares C.

Yelp
This place has an overlooked, understated vibe that makes Austin special. With excellently baked pastries, the friendliest staff you've ever met, and easily the best prices of any shop on Congress - you can not go wrong at teal house. Try it once, and your morning routine will never be the same without it!
google avatar

Lauren H.

Yelp
The brisket kolache, cinnamon rolls and coffee here is fire! Everything is done so well and the service is amazing. Give them a visit and you won't regret it!
