Yelp
This was the only place for bubble tea that I could find on the map in this area so we decided to check it out. The place was a little tricky to find since it was at the end of a cluster of Asian businesses/shops (pho shops, hong kong grocery store, etc).
Lollicup was cute and peaceful, no loud music and the blender wasnt going off every second and when it did it wasnt as loud as I am use to in other teahouses. There were a few tables and couches inside that were nice. It smelled and looked clean. There was always a worker behind the counter and the prices for the different teas were a lot cheaper than I was use to seeing! A lot were around $2.50 where I'm use to them being at least $3.25 or so.
I got a peanut milkshake with coffee jelly and tapioca. The tapioca was great, not too hard and not too soft (I've gotten mushy tapioca before at other places, bleehhh.) The peanut shake did have a slight aftertaste though, but maybe its due to a different peanut mix? My friends got a watermelon slush and an oreo milkshake which they both enjoyed. The milkshakes seemed a bit thin, but not bad, although I prefer them to be a thicker consistency.
All in all I would say that its your average bubble tea place. Not the greatest, but no where near the worst. Would be back! (as stated in other reviews, bring cash!)
