"Tealuxe, located at 0 Brattle St. in Harvard Square, Cambridge, will close on December 23, ending a run that began in 1996. Founders Bruce Fernie and Katherine Walsh created it in the style of a Parisian cafe. Tealuxe has served thousands of teas, offering loose leaf teas for purchase and a cafe menu of hot and cold teas, bubble teas, chai, matcha, hot chocolate, and more. The shop also sells tea paraphernalia. In 1999, it opened another location in Back Bay, which closed in 2010. It also has an outpost in Providence, Rhode Island." - Dana Hatic

Such a cute little place with an antique look and feel. You'll find all sorts of tea accessories and more importantly a whole array of tea flavors to stimulate your taste senses. Bubble Tea is a must !

I took out a star because there are no restrooms in this place (the closest one, as the friendly staff will point out to you, is on the 3rd floor of the COOP across the street, or the 2nd floor of CVS), which means you can't really chill here for very long-- not with all the tea! But otherwise, this is a great place to get a personal pot of tea for $4.07 (tax included) and hang out. Not too busy on a Saturday morning. Recommended!

Probably my favorite tea shop ever. They have an arsenal of different exotic, amazing tea flavors for you to drink and they all taste amazing. My favorite is the ginger ginseng, and it's amazing. The staff is always very friendly, the pricing is just right, the atmosphere there is lovely. My only gripe is that there isn't much seating there at all (maybe 7 people?) and when the door opens during the winter as people come in, everyone feels the cold.

Large menu of different types of tea. If you plan on sitting in just know the space is cramped and dirty- the storage under the booth seats have ripped up boxes containing tea cups they sell and the shelves haven’t been dusted in quite a while ... The interior is very dark and not the best ambience/aesthetic. If you’re looking for a nice hot drink and a comfy place to sit to enjoy I would not recommend Tealuxe.

Adorable tea shop with a large offering of every type of tea, as well as hot chocolate, bubble teas and iced drinks. They have limited food options, just pastries. They sell loose leaf tea as well as reasonably priced teaware, including teapots, strainers, and teacups. There is limited seating here but it is is very cozy and warm. It is really too bad that this place is closing late December.

Wonderful little tea place. Huge variety of loose leaf tea you can drink in house and buy to take home. The store has a comfortable atmosphere with decent wifi but a scarcity of electrical plugs. Staff is friendly and helpful for the indecisive. No bathroom but there is a public restroom across the street.

Great place for a relaxing tea with a friend. For those who like Bubble Tea, they offer a good selection, hot teas as well. They have some limited seating, the place is kind of small but okay. I love their selection of iced teas too---so refreshing!!! Yum. Never encountered bad service either.

This place has a great selection of loose leaf tea for reasonable prices. Its a bit small inside so you may have a hard time finding seating. But over all this is one of, if not the best tea place I've found in Boston so far.
