The Best Boba Shops in Cupertino, San Jose, and the South Bay | Eater SF

"Tea Lyfe may have started in a family’s small kitchen but it quickly climbed its way up the boba chain after transitioning to a pop-up and then opening at a brick-and-mortar store in San Jose. With two locations today, it still embodies its humble beginnings. By melding both the family’s Vietnamese and Mexican cultures into their menu offerings, Tea Lyfe stands out from other boba shops through drinks like Vietchata, which is infused with Vietnamese coffee and the family’s time-honored horchata recipe." - Cathy Park

The staff is very friendly, communicative, and helpful. She really wanted to make sure we all enjoyed the sweetness level of our drinks - I got an oat matcha latte unsweetened and was able to really taste the matcha - which tasted alright. Perhaps it would have been different with a tiny bit of sweetness but it was still fine. Overall I liked their attention to detail, care, the ambiance of the spot most.

Google
Friendly staff, cozy cafe, and delicious organic hand crafted fusion drinks including: Vietnamese Coffee Series, Horchata Series, and fruit and matcha teas. Prices are very fair. Small cafe located inside Viet Town, Little Saigon, San José. Free parking. Indoor tables.

Pros: Friendly Barista Delivers drinks Excellent place to study Music not too loud Nature Decor High Quality Drinks Cons: Can’t think of any right now

Pretty watery for milk tea. I admit they delivered on the "floral" promise (the description for the Jasmine Tea), and some may enjoy it, but I feel like I drank something more aligned with a tea bag in sweet water than what I wanted to experience. Ultimately felt like my $7 could've been better spent elsewhere. Upon looking at customer pictures, I think my experience is directly tied to the person who was working at the time. My drink didn't look as opaque as the same kind in the pictures. I don't think he knows what Asian milk tea is supposed to be like. What I experienced more closely resembles a sweet tea at a diner than a milk tea.

Drinks are pretty good. Matcha is my favorite place in Viet Nam Town. Place very nice. Parking can be a challenge. I do recommend this place.

10/24/24 updated review: Unfortunately their matcha quality has gone down and it's been very inconsistent this past year. I've been getting their strawberry matcha since 2021 and it isn't the same anymore. Today I paid $8 and barely got any matcha in my drink. It basically tasted like milk with hints of matcha and strawberry. It sucks because their drinks used to be really good. Probably won't get matcha here anymore. They have a restroom for customers and a few tables so you can do homework or chat with a friend. Service is good. 1/2024: My go to place for strawberry matcha. It can be a bit inconsistent with how good it tastes depending on who makes your drink. The honey boba is usually warm and fresh when you get your drink. Bobbivie is also good.

Google
The quality of the tea and the taste was amazing. I truly appreciate places that prioritize organic ingredients and boba tea places that use real milk and not powder. The atmosphere and the inside of that place is really cute too, we spent a good amount of time just looking at the art on the wall that can be bought. No complaints on the service either, everyone was friendly.

Google
This is a nice place to get some unique drinks! We ordered: a coffee drink, fruity JCB, lavender oat matcha (seasonal), a chocolate cookie and a matcha strawberry cookie. JCB stands for Jasmine Cold Brew. I had the fruity JCB and you could taste the jasmine which is nice because sometimes with fruit teas, the base tea flavor gets lost. So it tasted like jasmine tea plus some fruit flavors. I believe it was strawberry and mango, but I may remember incorrectly. It was refreshing. My sister had the lavender oat matcha, and you could really taste the lavender and matcha. So if you like both of those, you'll like this drink. The baristas were very friendly and informative. They offered to warm the cookies for us, and I recommend it! They came out soft and warm. The chocolate one is a chocolate lover's dream. It has chocolate all throughout; it's not just chocolate chips. The matcha strawberry was also soft. The strawberry flavor was stronger than the matcha. It was definitely worthwhile to stop here and get some drinks!

Yelp
I always get the Vietchata , never fails to taste great. Also the workers there are super kind , especially the taller Asian gentleman super cool guy and Jose is awesome as well. I asked jose about one of the cookies and what flavor , he gave me a small sample in a cup of the strawberry chocolate ship from the cookie which he didn't have to do .

Yelp
tea lyfe's matcha is my go toooo !! their vietnamese coffee is great as well. i come here at least once or twice a week because it's so close to where i live. i also love how good quality their ingredients are. the employees are amazinggggg like amazingggggggg, they're so nice and cool. i also love all of the plants that they have around their shop, it's very pretty inside. my top recommendations are the matcha sensation, matcha einspanner, and their ca phe breve. all are 10/10

Yelp
Their constant refresh of local art is very lovely. It makes coming back exciting, and really shows appreciation for the community . The mixture of all the live plants and wooden decor gives the shop a very warm vibe. The high ceilings with the Edison lights are nice to see. I'm a little sad to see the "upgrade" to all the screens (being the tv as a menu and self serve kiosks) though. Price: However, the prices are a little steep. Almost $9 for a drink (matcha w strawberries and boba). Now I understand SJ living is steep, so this place is definitely a treat-yourself place. $7 for the drink, 20¢ for it being iced (20oz), and 75¢ for boba. Drink: it was delish. I got 50% sugar and less strawberries in mine. I remember coming a prior time and disliking how sweet it was. Price: 2 Ambiance: 5 Drinks: 3 Service: 4
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered the Strawberry Hisbiscus with Boba. It tasted very sweet even at 50% so I recommend getting it even less sweet. The drink tasted like hisbiscus! The boba tasted just like tapioca pearls and was a bit sweet. I came in on a Saturday around closing time. There were a few people left. The shop is well lit! This is a really good place to study as there is wifi and several tables to sit at. Parking lot was a bit crowded but there is a lot of parking there.

Yelp
This place is so cute and a worth stopping by! The service here was amazing, the server was really nice and greeted everyone throughout the store. We ordered 3 drinks and they came out super fast and we're delicious.

Yelp
Big fan of Tea Lyfe since the first day it opened all the way till now! Probably the best spot for your cafe and boba vibes in the plaza. I am surprised I hadn't written a review for Tea Lyfe until now, but I definitely want to elevate this spot. I usually stop by here at least once every 2 months for a pick me up. I really enjoy their selection of drinks, I tend to go with one of their matcha selections (such as a lavender matcha) or a strawberry horchata. Right now they have an ube series right now if you are into ube! Overall though I enjoy the ambiance, it's cozy spot that's good for hanging out with friends but also doing some schoolwork during its slower hours. (Free WiFi) The service here is always great and whenever there is time and you're dining in, the barista sometimes will deliver your drink to the table which is very sweet.

Yelp
Tea Lyfe is a cute little shop in the Vietnam Town with some pretty strong tea flavors and interesting an spread of flavors on the menu; not often you see matcha, thai iced tea, and tamarind on the same menu! Seems to serve as a mix of tea shop plus mini (plant) gallery. Many plants and artist gallery items dotted around the store which adds a green vibe. Literally. It was pretty quiet when we visited slightly before noon on Saturday, but the chill dude manning the store was nice and made sure we knew we could get things adjusted if flavoring wasn't to our liking. Notably milk options had almond milk without additional cost so that was grand, but not having boba was a bummer (but not unusual before peak hours) Jasmine milk boba - 5/5 The tea was potently strong and quite floral, which in my book is great for that alone. Aroma matters and I'd say this place tops off on base tea strength. Good creaminess and nice chewy crystal boba (my consolation prize). Reasonably strong still after most of the ice melted so good concentration. Bobbi Vie - 5/5 Thai iced tea with a strong Viet coffee hit. Well balanced at half sugar. You could absolutely smell this thing at a distance, which is a delight to my coffee-addicted brother. I was quite fond of it from the sample sip I grabbed and the coffee shot aroma blended quite well with the tea+condensed milk.

Yelp
Finally tried out this boba shop out, and I was in the mood for a fruity drink! I got their strawberry lychee which was a popular item on their menu, and it was sweet and fruity. They also have actual strawberry's in there, and I added some lychee jelly for texture. I also got their strawberry hibiscus, which was a bit sour and tasted more like cranberry juice to me. It wasn't bad. The store is cute both on the inside and outside :) Their ordering service was pretty fast as they have two kiosk and you can also order upfront.

Yelp
I got the horchata series strawberry flavor ! I was worried about it being gross but it was actually a refreshing drink , I dislike getting strawberry drinks but thiisss drink was super delicious. I wish this spot was in Sacramento it's a perfect warm weather drink since it's super hot over there :) For my Bay Area peeps , check this place out especially after eating pho I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area! cute boba spot with plants

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday afternoon with barely any wait. This place is located in Vietnam town so parking/traffic can be difficult. I got the Vietchata which is a combination of their homemade horchata and Vietnamese coffee. I really liked it has it had that strong horchata flavor with a subtle coffee aftertaste. It also came with a large size and was refreshing Even my friends who don't like coffee like this drink. I would definitely recommend this place for tea/coffee if you're in the area!
google avatar

Sherry Y.

Yelp
The ambiance is cute and the staff were friendly. Ordered the Vietchata (Vietnamese Coffee & Horchata) and it was a very strong cinnamon taste.

Yelp
Such a cute spot for milk tea and to purchase plants! I came here an hour before closing on a Monday night and it wasn't busy. The parking situation wasn't a problem for me, but I can see it being difficult on the weekends with so many different businesses in this plaza. There wasn't a line so I was able to order at the cashier, but I also saw there is a tablet to order from as well. The employee was nice and delivered my drinks to my table. They unfortunately ran out of Lavender which wasn't known until AFTER my friend placed her order and was given the option to choose any drink off the menu to replace it. I thought that was a nice offer, but should've been addressed before placing the order. The menu was quite large! Seems to be only one size for their drinks though. Most drinks are also customizable with sweetness and ice levels. I was eyeing the horchata series and ended up ordering the Strawberry Horchata, but unable to adjust its sweetness. It was good, but there was a strong cinnamon taste that was was overbearing of the strawberry flavor. Overall the vibe of the shop is cozy and there is sure to be a drink for anyone.

Yelp
Great service, friendly atmosphere, and delicious drinks! I'll add a reminder to visit more often when I'm in Saigon town.

Yelp
Super cute and yummy coffee and boba location with aesthetic interior decor. We got the Vietnamese iced coffee, lavender ice coffee, and boba in a cute bottle. Service was fast. We came here for boba while waiting to be seated at a different restaurant, and the timing all worked out. Lots of cute plant aesthetics inside. Would recommend! Only thing is, not much seating inside. Better for to go orders.
google avatar

Lisa W.

Yelp
This boba place was a disappointment. First they have those 1990s cups for boba and not those resealable ones. Limited toppings too. Not like the newer ones, but came because it had good reviews. The milk tea flavor itself wasn't too bad, it was the hard stale honey boba that got me. It definitely was NOT fresh boba. It was hard and stale and starchy. What a waste! I drank the milk tea but spit all the boba out. So gross. I also added grass jelly and they put like 3 semi-medium size one, usually you get more but they on stingy side. Would not come here again! I'll stick with what the common boba shops that I know.

Yelp
one of the many bubble tea/coffee places located in vietnam town. super cute interior, with tons of paintings and artwork for sale hanging on the wall, as well as little trinkets like plants, roasts, & candles. a good amount of seating, i would definitely come here to get work done. the cashier was super helpful in explaining the drinks to us, and took our order when the self-service kiosk wasn't working. on a separate occasion at their location in saratoga, i tried the horchata latte & absolutely loved it! great balance of coffee to horchata flavor. this time around i opted for the dark matter, a mix of coffee and milk tea. my brother went for the bobbi vie, which had coffee and thai tea. both drinks were really well balanced, nothing too overpowering and i liked that you could still taste the tea in both of them. at $6 each, i'd say they're reasonably priced. will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place! I always find myself here to study for school + getting a delicious drink! There's plenty of tables with outlets if you plan on staying here a while to study or even to talk with your friends! You order on the screen they have or order at the front with the worker. The workers are usually really nice and helpful! Strawberry Lychee W/Boba : 10/10 Parking in front of the store may be difficult because there's so many restaurants/stores in the same vicinity.
google avatar

Mandy L.

Yelp
Cute little cafe in Vietnam Town! I was ordering on the Kiosk but a cashier offered to take my order, so that was nice! The drinks are alright, I think that there's definitely better places for boba in the same area. 3.5/5 stars! I used to study at Teahee, another boba shop in VN Town, but I now love studying here! The music is low so I can stay focused on doing my assignments, and I don't need noise cancelling headphones if I want to listen to my own music. They play music from artists like Mac DeMarco. I spend at least 3-4 hours here. There's chargers at every sitting area that's next to the wall so you don't have to worry about your devices dying. You can also buy plants here too! :) The only down part is if you're planning to use the WiFi for more than 4 hours, they put the internet in a blackout period so you'll either have to use a personal hotspot or move to a different location.

Yelp
If you're in the San Jose Vietnam Town Plaza and looking for boba, Tea Lyfe is where you should go! A local friend of mine took me and some other friends here to try it out, and walking in I really liked the way it was set up inside. The vibe felt kind of home-y using lots of wood furniture and many green plants around the store. I ordered one of the matcha drinks and it was pretty good, and the boba had a decent consistency to it. One of my friends was really excited about the Vietchata as it was a combination of Vietnamese Iced Coffee and Horchata. He's half Vietnamese half Mexican, so it was definitely great for him to see a representation of himself in the form of a drink haha! If I am in the area again I would come back for their drinks! Would recommend anyone coming here as well.
google avatar

Miriam F.

Yelp
Decided to try out this place since we were in the area! Got the strawberry matcha oat with boba with light ice! The strawberries taste so fresh, which was awesome. Towards the end, the drink tasted pretty watery, even with the light ice, which I'm not sure why. Boba itself was pretty good - not too chewy. The ambiance of this place is awesome though. Lots of greenery and plants, and people working on their laptops. I'd stop by if am in the area again - especially since they do seasonal waffles and definitely want to try the coconut pandan waffle!
google avatar

Yelp
So cool that they have Bobbi Vie (Milk Thai with Viet coffee), CA Phe Breve (original Viet coffee), and Dark Matter (black tea with Viet coffee). Creative and they have other hip tea drinks. Staff was welcoming and let me know what those drink names consists of since the board doesn't have sub captions of what it is. I'd suggest having a brief description of what is in each drink on the menu board. Nice decor. Refreshing drinks for the warm weather!

Yelp
CUTE! So this was my first time coming, I had a couple friends who wanted to come by and study while grabbing some coffee together. When I first came in I already loved the interior and how calm it was, I ordered the bobbi vie and It was so freaking good! I loved all the flavors and everything was just so amazing and a calm place to study. I enjoyed it while me and my friends getting everything done :) I'll most def come back to study or just to pick up drinks! The service was good too as well, the only downfall is that the wifi is kinda iffy and was hard to connect but it's okay we got it to work other than that I enjoyed being here and being around plants it helps the community to focus better with the soft music and white noise they have playing around the shop as well! 10/10 recommend

Jolie T.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this drink but I was very disappointed. It tasted like milk with cinnamon and random strawberries. The service wasn't bad and the cafe was cute. We also had the matcha latte which was very sweet but ok. The milk tea was really sweet too. The strawberry horchata was the worse out of the three drinks. It cant even be considered horchata.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been coming to this Tea Lyfe for several years now. All I can say is, the new guy behind the counter is the best employee this place has so far!! (Apr 30, 2024) He is very attentive, polite and seem genuinely happy to be at work! (Contrary to the previous young girl- who was so rude and has no business to be in service industry) My boba tea tastes so much better today!
google avatar

Tram L.

Yelp
We ordered their Assam Black Milk Tea and it was mediocre. I'm not sure if it's because we were there 30 minutes before closing time so it was not fresh batch of tea, but my drink was so plain and lack of tea taste. The store is small and cute. I guess the theme is bears' habitat.
google avatar

Katrina N.

Yelp
Some of the drinks here are quite unique and enjoyable! I was pleasantly surprised by their lavender matcha drink! The cafe interior is a wonderful place to study and get work done (they have wifi and some outlets available!) I would definitely recommend this spot if you like to work at cafes!
google avatar

Jelly S.

Yelp
This was my first time at TeaLyfe and sadly it looks like it will also be my last. Don't be fooled by the ambiance. The Thai tea I tried left me utterly underwhelmed. Its flavor was so faint that it might as well have been water with a hint of orange coloring. I expected a bold, robust taste, but instead, I got a beverage that barely registered on my taste buds. It lacked the depth and richness that I associate with authentic Thai tea. Overall, it was like drinking flavored water with a disappointing price tag attached. This was one of the worst Thai teas I have drank in my entire existence, I am severely disappointed and will never be coming back. If you want a good tasting Thai Tea, STAY AWAY Also, my friend got a lavender matcha? The fact that i had to put a question mark after the matcha speaks a lot. The matcha tasted like water and if I wanted water I wouldve went to Starbuck. But instead I went here and wasted money. In my opinion I would never come back here again because my drink was diluted like the wrong solution ive made in the 10th grade chemistry that I got an F on. Regarding this, Tealyfe also get an F
google avatar

Linh N.

Yelp
The drinks are unique because of the toppings. I got the strawberry lychee but the strawberry matcha is also good. The inside is a nice quiet place to study in or just hang out. Service was fast and the staff was friendly. Will come back if I'm in San Jose
google avatar

Monica H.

Yelp
Got the strawberry lychee with crystal boba and it was pretty good! Very tea forward if you're more into that. Service was quick and easy since it was at a kiosk you order yourself. And the inside is nice and nature-y with the furniture being wood and also having plants inside. Parking can be a bit difficult since it's in a busy plaza, but you do find one eventually. Sadly they were sold out of all the food when we went so hopefully next time we go we can try that out
google avatar

Carolyn D.

Yelp
What sets tea lyfe apart from other shops is its interior design and relaxing ambiance. The drinks are also good too - I got the matcha sensation and matcha strawberry oat. I thought the strawberry couldhv been more potent and condensed compared to strawberry matchas from boba guys to give it more flavor. Aside from this I could tell the matcha was real and it didn't taste too watered down. Pricing was fair. Would definitely be back
google avatar

Linh D.

Yelp
I made plans to go to another boba shop in the area after finishing my dentist appointment at 3:30PM on a Monday, and man, everything was closed. I went down my list and got to Tea Lyfe as a fourth backup so decided to go here since it was one of the few shops open, but I did want to try this place. I came in, and it wasn't crowded. Only a person studying at a table and a family at the kiosk ordering. I looked at the menu and decided on the strawberry oat matcha since it was the most appealing bestseller for me. I put in my order and added boba. After tax, the drink came out to be more than $8 which was VERY shocking. I was waiting for my order for 15 minutes which I will say was long, but I won't blame Tea Lyfe on that. There was only one worker, and the family in front of me ordered 4 drinks and a couple of waffles, and the lady even pulled the worker aside to talk to her about the plants which took time out of her making my drink. Another person came in to order at the kiosk and was about to order, but the worker said they were out of boba...which made me a bit worried since I ordered boba with my drink. However, I got my drink shortly after the person finished ordering with her, and it did have boba in it. Guess I got lucky with that. Anyways, I took the drink to-go and took a sip from my car before I started driving. It was pretty good. A lot of strawberry matcha drinks I've had do not have a good blend of strawberry, but this one did. It wasn't just simply strawberry chunks at the bottom, but it had an equal amount of strawberry and matcha which was visible when I got the drink. The boba was kind of smaller than I was used to, and it was not the softest, but it was still sweet and somewhat decent. Would I order the drink again? Yeah!...but not anytime soon with high price tag. If you're going here though, I would recommend the strawberry oat matcha. It's pretty good and refreshing. The place also has wifi and looks like a nice place to do work and/or study.
google avatar

Emelyn N.

Yelp
relaxing tea shop and good service but the tea is just okay, i've tried it twice now and both times have been the same
google avatar

Annabelle R.

Yelp
Traffic was horrendous in the plaza around the Tet/ Lunar New Year holiday, cuz apparently the clientele here don't know how to drive!?! Uncovered parking was a bit challenging to find, but there was plenty of parking available in the garage... the slowass cars just made it hard to get there. The tea shop itself was cool. Clean, not too crowded, seating available, cute artwork on the wall (cats and bunnies!), and a clear and simple menu. Service was pretty standard, no complaints. We got the Citrus Therapy (cold) and Chocolate Glaze Waffle and were happy with our treats. The waffle was a little dense for my taste, but still good; it was the size of a slice of bread. The coffee options on their menu are a bit limited, but they offer plenty of other types of beverages, so I guess that's the trade-off.
google avatar

Henry T.

Yelp
I've tried my fair share of boba drinks, but Tea Lyfe's Strawberry Oat Matcha truly stands out from the crowd. The boba alone is worth writing home about - perfectly chewy and bursting with flavor. But what really stole my heart was the Strawberry Oat Matcha itself. Creamy, dreamy, and utterly delicious, this drink is a true masterpiece. The balance of flavors is just right, with the matcha taking center stage while the strawberry and oat provide a subtle sweetness that lingers on the tongue. The shop is cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff and a relaxing ambiance that makes it the perfect spot to unwind with a delicious drink. And speaking of drinks, their menu offers a wide variety of options, from classic milk teas to more adventurous concoctions like the Mango Rose and Zenchata Overall, I can't recommend Tea Lyfe enough. If you're a boba lover like me, this is a must-visit spot in San Jose. Trust me, you won't regret it.
google avatar

Erin P.

Yelp
Location The place is a nice quiet area to work in Lil Saigon. There is parking and not too busy in the late weekday afternoon. Food and drink The boba was fairly priced, though the strawberry not mixed the most, came in chunks, you had to order lychee separately which wasn't told to me. The strawberry with juice was sweet and medium sized. The waffle was yummy, but definitely way overpriced. The ambiance The menu was a lot smaller in size in the wall than I expected and the art work decorating the walls was plentiful with green potted plans scattered along the sides. I recommend the place for drinks, but not probably not the food for the value of your money.
google avatar

Megha T.

Yelp
Super cute spot!!! The vibe inside is so pleasing. Plants everywhere! The employees are super nice and made our drinks very quickly! Absolutely will come here next time to get some work done!
google avatar

Rob C.

Yelp
I love this place and this is has the best drinks! Lastly, the owner is down to earth and is awesome!!
google avatar

Gerald L.

Yelp
Despite good atmosphere and service I give three stars. First and foremost the boba wasn't good. It was like hard little balls. Not even chewy. Second even at low sweetness, which they openly recommend against, I've never had a jasmine tea as bitter as this. LuckilyI can drink butter tea, but others who tried it thought it was very bad. It's not cheap either. I think I'd try other boba places around this mall.
google avatar

Yelp
Tea Lyfe | San Jose 1. Strawberry Oat Matcha w/ boba 2. Strawberry Hibiscus Tea Lyfe is located in San Jose near Grand Century Shopping Mall (Asian mall). This cute, compact, contemporary cafe serves handmade milk teas, waffles, and cookies. The decor is heavily inspired by plant nurseries as you'll run into plants every foot of the cafe. The drinks were delicious and the staff was super friendly. The nice thing about this place is that you'll find a lot of students studying here on a typical evening which is nice! Who wouldn't want to enjoy a lovely boba beverage and study at the same?!
google avatar

Katherine N.

Yelp
The drinks were very watered down. It honestly tasted more like water than tea. My friends and I ordered the strawberry jasmine milk tea and strawberry lychee fruit tea, and we could not taste tea in either drink. It was nice that the drinks included fresh fruit, but it ended up tasting like fruit water. Service - Extremely fast. We went when the store wasn't busy, so they were making the drinks as we were ordering. They were done by the time we paid. Ambiance - Pretty interior. Could be a cute place to study.

Yelp
Tea Lyfe is a nice place to go to when you're in Vietnam Town. The menu from what I can recall is a bit limited, but it has a lovely ambiance and plenty of indoor seating (though it can be quite crowded and there's a pretty high risk of all the seating being taken by others by the time you get there. I like to get the Matcha Sensation with Honey Boba, the boba has a nice texture and I like the sweetness of the drink (though you will definitely want to adjust the sweetness much lower). I had also tried the Strawberry Horchata, but did not like it at all and was unable to finish it. I would be willing to come here again when I go to Vietnam Town as it's slightly more unique than some of the other boba places there (no hate to T4 and Happy Lemon though, I like them too)
google avatar

Annie K.

Yelp
Very cute boba store decorated like a cabin in the woods with artwork and plants and tree stumps inside. I ordered the jasmine milk tea 50% sweet and it was very strong and tasted a little watered down but it was $5 so okayyy. Interior is very cute, love the decor and they have a restroom inside. Tea came out fairly quickly. Not the best tea ive had but if u like really strong tea maybe u would want to try this place. Literally couldn't sleep a wink.

Yelp
The Tea Lyfe menu gave me Boba Guy vibes right off the bat; it was due to the matcha and strawberry drinks on the menu. I chose from the Honey Series and ordered a Honey Ginseng Oolong hot milk tea (the one on the menu doesn't come with milk). The staff said it is essentially a regular oolong tea but with honey. This drink was so aromatic and the honey gave it a nice sweetness. I asked for 75% sweetness but could have dropped it to 50%. Hubby ordered the Vietnamese coffee and mentioned it was super strong. He drank half and was well caffeinated. In fact, he was up pretty late last night watching the World Cup, haha. The staff was super friendly and the shop itself had a nice ambience to it with the wooden/cabin like tables. If I am ever in the area again for pho, I will make sure to stop by again for tea. Cheers!

Yelp
Great service and the interior has a modern wood and plant theme that feels very relaxing. This would definitely be a good place to sip on a drink while reading a book or working on a laptop. I like that they have a unique drink menu, especially considering how many boba places are in the area. The bear logo is also cute!

Yelp
This place has good drinks, they combine boba with horchata. It's a nice change from the usual milk tea or agua frescas. The ambiance is cozy and natural, it's a good place to study or chill. It's in Viet Town, parking can sometimes be hard.

Yelp
Super cute interiors and sweet staff! I came here on a Tuesday evening with some friends, partly because I wanted to check out how viable of a study spot it is. It definitely checks all my boxes: restroom, wifi, outlets, ample seating, clean interior. I got the osmanthus oolong with boba, 50% sugar and less ice. This sugar level was perfect for me. Admittedly the boba was a little bit hard, but I understand it was because it was near closing.

Yelp
Owner and co-owner are very cool. Always feel welcomed with I come in. Try their horchata and green. Great ambiance.

Yelp
Glad to be back, used to come here after having pho. Discover a few new drink mixing coffee and tea, the cashier is very friendly and offer us sample before we decide the sweetness. We got both Bobbi vie and dark matter, and tried the strawberry matcha cookie. Love the deco with some art and plants, ambiance is very nice.

Yelp
I tried two of the Viet coffee series (Dark Matter & Bobbie Vie)! The Bobbie Vie is a delightful twist on the classic Thai tea. But my favorite was the Dark Matter which is their Viet coffee with Assam milk tea. I got it half sweet and it was perfect! This place is located in Little Saigon and is the perfect stop for a nice drink (especially with summer coming up). I noticed a few people working and others coming into hangout with friends -- a great spot to sit down, enjoy a drink, and chill. I will be back to try the tea drinks soon!

Yelp
Was craving boba and found this place on Yelp! The store is located in a Vietnamese plaza. The store itself was very cute and many people were there working or hanging out. I got the assam black milk tea with boba and my bf got the strawberry horchata with boba. The staff forgot to add boba in the strawberry horchata and quickly added some when we mentioned it. They were very kind. Overall very average boba and prices are average too $5+
