"Smashburger aficionados, meet Ted’s. It’s a Wynwood pop-up operating in front of J. Wakefield on Sundays from 3pm till sold out (these hours could change, so check their Instagram for the latest info). These are the best smashburgers in the whole city—the kind of smashburger that looks like it was smashed by Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (famous Icelandic strongman, in case you were about to Google that.) They sometimes sell out, so try to get there a bit early. Your effort will be rewarded in the form of crispy, lacey, cheesy beef. photo credit: Ryan Pfeffer" - Ryan Pfeffer

Way more than I could eat! I was looking for someplace different to take my kids to and found this through a google search. It's a little pricier than McD's, but you get so much more. I love the soft sweet roll buns and the burgers are huge. Oh yeah...You have to at least try the Country fried bacon on your burger at least once! I will be getting this again! The fries are fresh cut and all my kids loved it. Nobody finished their meal it was so big! I only wish they served Mt Dew or Coke; it's a diverse variety of drinks. The staff was very nice and helpful to this newcomer.

We've eaten here several times now and the food is always great. The olive burger is fantastic and my wife loves the original. My only complaint is the lack of seasoning on the fries, sometimes they are great, sometimes not so much. Overall, this is the best burger place in the area, and I recommend it to anyone.

I went here for the first time about 3 weeks ago. If I were on my own, I would never have gone in, but a coworker took me here. It's a no frill place, but the burger are very big, juicy and tasty. The fries are pretty good too. I especially like the casier with the tattoo lips on her neck. Overall, a pretty good burger joint.

We have eaten here a number of times and the food is always great. As someone who does not eat meat that much their mushroom and veggie sandwich is amazing. My wife and son can eat meat and love their burgers or chicken strips. One word of warning, a single serving of fries is enough for two people. We always split one. If your in the mood for a great Burger try it out.

First and last time I went there I was expecting a tasteful, juicy burger. What I got was a heap of a completely tasteless burger. Fries tasted like frozen fries they warmed up. Everything was seperate (fries, drink - no combos) making it more expensive. Service sucked (maybe girl was new?). In all nothing stood out about this place and I will NOT be returning.

Food: Awful cheeseburger. Tasteless bread, meat, and a sickingly sweet sauce that completely ruined any chance of this being a meal worth eating. The meat was flavorless and had a small bone fragment in it. The ONLY good part of the cheeseburger was that it had quality pickles. Service: The tall, thin girl who took our order was only interested in herself and her pretty, petty little world. A level of customer service that I would never tolerate if I were the proprietor of this cafe. There was a shorter young woman who at least said thank you when we retrieved our burgers. The tall redhead never made eye contact and seemed so sick of working. The positives about this place were the aforementioned quality pickles, good french fries, and a large, good quality TV that was showing the European soccer championships. We ate here because it participated in AAdvantage air miles, but I cannot ever see myself being put through such emotional and gastronomic abuse again.

The burgers are huge. I've tried the Guacamole burger, fried cheeseburger and the basic cheeseburger. They are all awesome! I only get the fries and a drink when I have a groupon because to eat a burger and fries in one sitting would be impossible. It's not cheap, but I think it is worth it for the amount of meat and toppings you get.

Decent burgers, side fries big enough to share. Disliked loaded Cheese (whiz) fries. Kids eat free Wednesday and Sunday ($22 for 5). Really slow moving line.
