I am surprisingly disappointed by the service we received today.
We sat at the bar to be served by Roxanne, and the energy was off from the very beginning.
I arrived at 6:40, and it is now 7:53. I asked for my drink to be remade at 7, I have yet to receive it. I also order a crab cake appetizer, I have yet to receive it as well.
We asked to be served by someone else and came outside to the patio. After an hour, I walked back in to ask why I never received my drink or food, and I was spoken to in a very nasty, loud and argumentative tone, told me that I must be at the bar to receive my drink (first time I ever heard that) and when I asked to speak to a manager (Andrew), I was told he's busy in the kitchen. After almost an hour, he has yet to acknowledge us.
My friend that is here with me usually comes 3-4 times per week and receives excellent service, and tried to assure me this is not common, but this experience is enough for me to not want to return.
It is now 7:59... still no drink, the appetizer just came, still no manager.
Added note: the same server seemed offended that my friend had an allergic reaction to her usual shrimp meal and asked if the recipe changed.
And, I saw a young lady with her Emotional Support Animal trying to get curbside service, and they refused to bring her food, so she had to bring her ESA in just to get her meal, and she received bad energy from the same server.
