Attentive service and tasteful decor make this an inviting spot for a healthy, tasty Ethiopian meal. The portions were a tad small (only two small pieces of chicken in the doro wot), but the flavors were there. The gomen (collard greens) were not terribly hot though. Would come back.

Had an excellent experience at Teffs. They take care of you really well and treat you like family. Really exceptional food and taste. Quality is also next level! Looking forward to coming back soon!

The clean warm design of the new place in Columbus Circle with its jungle motif is lovely. The food is light but the proportions are huge so I literally didn’t finish but felt totally full. Service is excellent! Cocktails are creative. Whats not to like?

I have eaten Ethiopian food in several locations around the east coast, and Teff is my favorite. The food here is top notch and flavorful, and the selection is excellent. I have always eaten at the bar, and the service is excellent. The cocktails are innovative and delicious. Try the homemade honey wine. Yum.

This restaurant was highly recommended to me and it was also the first time I
experienced Ethiopian food. Wow! The food, service, and atmosphere were outstanding. I will be a frequent visitor. Please try this. It will become your immediate favorite. We had the chicken stew and most of the vegetarian side dishes and each was individually delicious! Efram was our server and he is simply the best!!!

My friend from Ethiopia approves! The injera is a bit thinner side but hey you eat more food with it. Doro wat is a must order

Another gem in downtown Stamford. Teff may not be visible immediately but it's next to Rivera Maya. You will experience different flavor profiles in Teff. Goat dish (Tel Wat) and Dorho Wat (spicy chicken) are definitely worth trying. We ordered Tasting for 2 and one goat stew and it was sufficient for 5 people. Honey wine is slightly more on the sweeter side.
The ambience was nice and welcoming though we felt a bit on the colder side.
Definitely worth trying
