Dallas Restaurant Openings to Know in February 2025 | Eater Dallas

"A pair of chefs who met while working at the notorious and beloved East Side dive bar Lakewood Landing opened a tacos-and-barbecue takeaway-only spot that also offers “killer cookies and baked goods.” The founders say their real goal is to practice and build toward landing a presence at the State Fair of Texas." - Courtney E. This place is a hidden gem! The service and food are both phenomenal. Those brisket tacos are mouth watering. The potato salad was made fresh not store bought. Homemade indeed. But the star of the show was the brisket biscuit! Man when I bit into it I rubbed my feet together! Lol I was having a true fat boy moment! The brisket was warm and flavorful. The eggs were fluffy and the biscuit was soft and fluffy and homemade! The cinnamon roll was exquisite! Fresh and hot! This place has wowed me. Money well spent! This is my go to spot when I’m looking for quality home cooked food!

This place is the real deal. It’s a hole in the wall, and serves absolutely delicious tacos. Each taco comes with its own sauce, and each was incredibly flavorful and unique. Can’t recommend Tejas Brisket Co. highly enough!

Their tacos and burgers are great. The blondie treat or whatever is fantastic. The lady who seems to run it and is at the front is very engaging and pleasant.

Loved all three! 😍The triple d was perfection and the brisket sandwich was full of BBQ goodness! And the sauces oh my….🤤 we’ll be back soon to try something new! Thank you Tejas BBQ

Worth visiting if you’re local or passing through. The brisket taco was flavorful and a true brisket-to-taco experience. In house sausage taco was amazing as well ( dont skip if your a smoked sausage fan). The charro beans and cornbread really tied the meal together. In a state full of bbq and taco options, this is a must hit spot.

Best brisket sandwich in dallas. They make all their buns in house w beef tallow. Potato salad, Mac and cheese, smoked sausage, the spicy bbq sauce…. all incredible. Highly recommend

Triple d burger, the name sells all You gotta do devour it. First time I went I had brisket and Mac and cheese . It was fire and probably the best jalapeño bbq sauce I have had. Second time around I went with my co workers to get them introduced to the best bbq in the block . Triple d burger was on the menu, we left super pleased. Next items I will be eyeing are the tacos and more sides. Jalapeño cookie is legit good

This is one of the best hidden places to get a bbq taco.. The owner is amazing, the food is consistently fresh, great cuts of brisket, not the fatty kind… the chocolate chip cookies have cinnamon and some delicious chocolate chips. They don’t skimp and they are priced very well… They have 1 table, so be mostly prepared to get it to go… But I eat here for lunch almost every day now…. so good!!!
