During a food discussion at work, it was recommended that I go to Teji's for really good Indian food.
So, when dinner time came and the cousin and I couldn't decide on what we wanted, Teji's sounds like a solid choice.
We enter into the dimly lit restaurant and were greeted almost immediately by a wait staff. They stated we could sit where ever we please. As they followed us to our table and sat down, we ordered our drinks.
Because we were undecided on what we wanted, we asked our server about recommendations. She mentioned the popular dishes being the tikka Marsala, korma, tandoori, and biryani and rice dishes, but her favorite being the korma.
So, we ordered garlic naan, lamb korma, and lamb biryani. Everything was delicious. The garlic naan was soft, fluffy, and full of garlic! It was a great dipped in korma. The korma was rich, flavorful, and creamy and the lamb was incredibly tender. The rice in the biryani was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the lamb was almost as tender as the lamb in the korma. The portions were very generous as well. Had to take half of my food To go.
By the way, reheated korma and biryani was almost just as great as the restaurant.
I'm definitely coming back. You should go too! :)
