Ordered from the Comsouth location with an estimated ready time of 4:40PM. I arrived at 4:30, my order had been ‘confirmed’ but was not yet ‘preparing’ on the tracker. I called the number on the sign three times to see whether they received my order but no one answered. I went up to the window at 4:40, the person who answered appeared not to have seen my order come through and asked for me to give them ten minutes. Order came out at 4:55. This was…. The worst Indian food I have ever had. Chicken Tikka- overcooked and the sauce was watery with no flavor. Saag Chicken- same. Lamb Biryani- rice was overcooked and the only flavor was the spice. Meat was tough. Mango Lassi was bland…. I’m disappointed about spending $60….

I’ve tried several Indian restaurants, and this place has amazing food! You can customize the spice level to your liking, which is a big plus. The Chicken Tikka Masala (hot) and Dum Aloo (medium) are absolutely delicious. They used to offer Baingan Bharta, which I could eat every day—I really wish they’d bring it back! The portions are generous for one person, and I almost always have leftovers for a snack later. Whenever I get Indian food cravings at work or at home, I always choose Teji’s and order through DoorDash. It’s comfort food with a kick, and I love it! Give it a try—I’m sure you’ll love it too!

Well...look at that picture.A lemon wedge a slice of onion and the chicken all the same size.. Guess which one is small? Of course the chicken. The food was tasty but I'd expect to be served a portion like this if they had a kids section on the menu and it was for five-year-olds. The tandoor chicken was tiny

Dipak Khadka

Google
I ordered garlic naan and lacha paratha from taji’s I didn’t expect this much worse i would get soo badd

Google
They sell hot somosa in styrofoam package. It was so hot it melted the styrofoam. We ate and then saw it was melted. We told them not to put hot hot stuff in styrofoam but they keep making same mistake. I do not know why they use styrofoam. See the attached photo where you can see package melted and we might have consumed this plastic material.

Our favorite local Indian restaurant. Teji’s never disappoints. Everything is always fresh, hot, authentic and delicious. The can go hot, so be careful with your spice level! My guys have challenged this and have been overcome. Haha. The Indian store next door is a nice addition and I always pick up one or two things. If you have traveled abroad then you are familiar with the creamier Cadbury chocolate and Smarties.

Google
I order a lot from this place with Uber but the last 2 times it's been a joke! 2l3 weeks ago the 2 garlic naan breads I ordered were missing and Uber eats told me they couldn't do anything. Gave them a chance again tonight, and only got 1 of the 2 garlic naan breads I ordered. The amount of rice they send is also always a hit or miss, never the same. But the curry is good and this is why I have them another chance. Paying for stuff I'm not getting doesn't sit well with me. And I tried to call the restaurant but no one answers the phone.

Malavika Kale

Google
We got paneer tikka masala and Chicken Tika masala. The paneer was fine but the chicken felt off and the gravy was too weird, almost too synthetic in its consistency and flavor. Don’t think I will be ordering from here again.

Yelp
For us, the tastiest Indian food in Central Texas. We've been going since they only had a small dining room stuck next to the grocery, and the owner, Lakhbir, covered the store and the restaurant side. The quality of the food had remained excellent. Our staples are the Vindaloo and Korma, I swear we could live off the gravy and naan alone. We've dined in and ordered it out for takeaway, it is always has the same level of tasty - our only complaint is that we get full before we're ready to stop eating! I just miss seeing the owner's smiling face when we used to visit.

Yelp
Well the place itself is really depressing and in poor condition. It didn't look clean either. I was worried about the food. It was a little too oily But the chicken was good and I enjoyed the rice. It's not the worst I've had but I won't be going back. Nothing memorable... The grocery was also dirty and cluttered. The staff was friendly and nice.

Yelp
Picked up a couple of Indian snacks today (December 31, 2023). Went home and opened the snacks, they tasted stale, then I checked the date on them. They expired in April 2022! My bad, I should have checked the date and not trusted the business. I will not be returning and certainly won't be buying any groceries from here. Sales tax on unprepared food is incorrect. Illegal business practices.

Yelp
First off the service was great! I love how I was greeted when I walked in this cute little cozy spot. After placing my order I walked around the market and instantly wished I brought cash!!! So many cute items, fabrics, jewelry and trinkets! Now to the food. That damn Tandoori chicken is to die for!! I swear I could it everyday! I haven't had it in years and ohhh the memories I might need to go once a week to get my fix. They give you soooo much I ate off it all day. Now the Vindaloo (I choose Lamb as my protein of choice) I wanted to venture off and try something new... NOPE!! Lol. I think I asked for the wrong thing; I wanted the item above it‍ it has a strong vinegar taste (which on the menu it clearly states) my fat ass just saw ginger and garlic and started drooling. Now because I paid $4 extra for lamb I picked the lamb out and ate it the spice level and flavor was PERFECT, minus the vinegar To sum it up... I have definitely found an Indian gem!! This is my new spot

Yelp
Super cute love tht it's a restaurant n grocery with goodies on the other side Tucked in the corner but quick to find just watch out for road construction at this time n traffic Lots of parking Lots of seating Friendly staff It was quite empty n no one was on the floor when we arrived but came out after us saying hello hello lol Food was quick coming out Felt fresh Rice was ok I like the longer grain this one wasn't as long as some pleaces n no taste to it Main dishes flavorful

Yelp
I'm a fan of the food and flavors but the amount of food provided (especially when ordering takeout) is nowhere near a good value!
google avatar

Jamie D.

Yelp
Pretty filling serving and decent flavor for the chicken tikki masala. My only complaint was the rice was super dry and kinda cold. Mixing the sauce in slightly helped but it would be nice if the rice was warmer.
google avatar

Melissa D.

Yelp
Ordered takeout. Paneer wrap with butter sauce didn't have lettuce or tomato, onion, chutney like the description stated. Just a much of rice and paneer with butter sauce which was flavorless. Paneer tikka masala also flavorless. Navratan korma flavorless. Not sure what's going on. So many good reviews I was looking forward to a solid Indian spot. Disappointed. Portion for wrap generous.
google avatar

Yelp
I've given this place a couple of tries and it's just not it. The rice was gross and mushy, and the tikka masala was not it. One time I had ordered for delivery through door dash and the restaurant forgot to include rice for my curry dish. Needless to say after work I was so exhausted I resorted to ordering delivery and by the time I got my food I was starving and I have no rice to eat my curry with. Very dissatisfied.
google avatar

Yelp
I came in for dine in, I ordered garlic naan and chicken tikka masala, the naan was crispy and delicious and the tikka masala was very tasty
google avatar

Henry L.

Yelp
My go-to dish here are their combos. I usually get the Goat Combo, but I recently ordered from their delivery menu and got the Lamb Combo. They're definitely a huge bang for your buck as it gives you a good variety of dishes to try. The goat and lamb were both flavorful and tender, and the curry was delicious. The vegetable soup is really good and actually one of the dishes I look most forward to. The veggies are super soft and the broth is addicting with a nice kick. My favorite dessert is their rice pudding. It's sweet and served cold. The naan is one of the fluffiest I've had compared to the other Indian restaurants in the Austin area. Whether you dine in or get it delivered, the food is going to be superb. Excellent staff as well.

Yelp
I usually don't write bad reviews. But the food here was very bad. We ordered chicken tikka masala. It was some chewy chicken cooked in some tomato ketchup like gravy. I don't know why many people gave very good reviews. That was misleading and we chose to dine here due to those positive reviews ignoring the bad reviews. The kitchen was just across the restroom and the dining area had very strong toilet cleaning chemicals smell. I regret not walking out as soon as we entered in that overpowering smelly area. The woman who was serving the food was a nice person. That was the only good thing about this place.

Yelp
Teji's Indian Restaurant is one of my favorite Indian places in Round Rock. This was the first time I'd been back since COVID and I'm glad they are open again! It had been too long since I'd had it. I love their biryani and garlic naan. Also the tikka masala. There are two locations- Round Rock and Cedar Park. If you haven't been, you need to try it.

Yelp
Solid food. Tandoori chicken is a must. We do take out because restaurant seating is not that great.
google avatar

Jaye R.

Yelp
Not a fancy place, we came at 2pm we were the only ones there, we just wanted a quick bite while on a road trip. The food was amazing! Definitely would stop there again.

Yelp
Teji's is a neighborhood restaurant serving Indian food. In the spirit of supporting local, I do try give them my business. However, it's unfortunately a hit or miss in terms of consistency of food quality. This time I ordered a kadhai paneer and vegetable jalfrezi. Both tasted exactly the same - having grown up in India and cooked these dishes multiples times, this is not expected. More over the portion sizes are on rh smaller side for a $13+ entree. Their naan has been great always, in size and taste. Food was ready on time and the people are courtious. The business needs to improvise the game on consistency and assess if the quantity is worth the price; especially since there are plenty of authentic Indian food options available in the area
google avatar

Log D.

Yelp
I really try to give local businesses a fair chance, and I gave Teji's 2 chances. Both times, the food tasted really strange and it was severely overpriced for such poor flavor and small portion sizes. The saag paneer tasted like soap. That was one of the only times I've ever almost thrown away half-eaten food (but I could hear my mom's voice in my head screaming "don't waste food!" so I forced it down). When I walked in to pick up my order, the place looked closed and kind of creepily dark. Zero atmosphere. Nobody greeted me or even let me know where to pick my food up. It was like, is this place even open? Then after waiting there for a couple minutes, a very indifferent person sitting at an empty table on their phone finally walked up to me and I had to ask them if they worked there before they even said anything. The hell? Teji's is so disappointing. :(
google avatar

Jeremie T.

Yelp
To me it was ok, chicken didn't taste like chicken and seasonings were just off to me. I've had plenty of Indian food and I usually can taste the diff. This is a major no for me.

Kevin S.

Yelp
When Teji's first opened I met the owner, nice guy! Food was great and I came back for more quite often. Unfortunately, the last few times the owner wasn't there, the food was not nearly as good and the overall service and quality had declined significantly. It seems like the owner is focused somewhere else. The grocery side of the business still seems decent for finding those hard-to-find traditional Indian goods, but I don't suggest the restaurant anymore. Tables need to be resurfaced and the chairs and booths seem clean but look grimy. Everything needs a bit of an update. Not a pleasant dining experience.
google avatar

Jen B.

Yelp
Tejis is my neighborhood Indian restaurant. I'm happy to support them. Take out orders are always accurate and on time. Serving size is generous. They recently switched some of the containers away from styrofoam, not all. But that's progress right?! The only issue I have is, they're not consistent in the dishes. Korma is rarely the same. The sweetness varies, color is more or less yellow or consistency is thinner or thicker. Same with the tikka masala, sometimes more tomatoey others not. It would be great if they used the same recipe each time so I know what to expect. The other issue is any dish that uses white meat chicken, it's typically over cooked. I understand a restaurant is not fast food so things may not be 100% the same every I'll continue to fulfill my Indian food cravings with tejis. All in all they're a restaurant worth ordering take out from.

Yelp
If you like Indian food you should try this restaurant great service and very clean I would recommend family and friends for a great night out or lunch.

Yelp
Delish. Everything is fresh! Love their garlic nan and tikka masala. Yummy and very friendly.

Yelp
The chicken dish was stale - and had to be returned . The vegetarian dish was decent. The naan was decent. Will not be returning .

Yelp
Like to support unchain businesses specifically family owned. This place has great taste and clean. I will be back.

Yelp
I should have known their 4 meal special was too good to be true. Ordered take out and was very disappointed by them. Their salad which advertises Indian spices, lemon juice and cilantro was nothing more than cut up cucumbers and tomatoes with 1 slice of lime for $7/container. The rice was the norm. The Naan was pretty burnt. The " meals" were all sauce a legit 1 piece of chicken in each. The 1 piece of chicken was dry and they should have save themselves the bother as the sauces were okay. Don't go for the deal. It ends up being a waste of money:

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. The service has always been good and the food is delicious. I get the paneer tikka masala. I love it so much I can't force myself to try any other entree. Friends have had other dishes and they have also enjoyed them. It's a place we often frequent - especially because they are open on holidays like Christmas Day. The nice thing about this location is that there is a little grocery store attached. I can get hard to find items like smarties (the chocolate ones - not the chalky sugary ones). The prices are good, too.

Yelp
This place impressed me as I tried Indian food for the first time my whole life! We went with a group of 3 so we got 3 different dishes to share and try: the famous chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, tandoori chicken, and garlic naan. We were offered their complimentary papadum which was made from thin and crispy fried chickpea/black gram dough. Their two sauces: dark red = has very good tangy and sweet tamarind taste, green = spicy parsley, mint, and cilantro sauce. Each entree is served with fluffy basmati rice. Garlic naan: Super soft and fluffy like the cloud that I just want to snuggle in it and eat all day. Chicken tikka masala: Delicious and creamy goodness. Lamb vindaloo: Creamy with light tangy taste and good kick of heat. Both meat - chicken and lamb are very tender. Just give me a full plate of rice with the sauces of these two and I'm happy, no meet or veggies needed. That's how delicious and flavorful it is! We ate until the last drop of sauce, and even used the naan to wipe the bowls. Tandoori chicken: Very tasty grilled drumsticks. They have enough spices to make them fragrant and good char on the meat. This dish is served with herb yogurt sauce (reminds me of Greek tzatziki), tamarind chutney and the spicy green sauce that came with the papadum. The restaurant is very clean. The host/server is very calm and nice. We eat first and pay at the front counter when we finish. There's a little area by the entrance selling some traditional Indian goods and food. Overall, we had a great experience as first timers. This is definitely on the list for us to come back again!

Yelp
Best Indian food may have ever tried!! We got a few curries to try as a table and were amazed by all. The curry is creamy and such great flavor, we will definitely be back and recommend to everyone

Judy W.

Yelp
Best saag paneer and best nan I have ever tasted. I tried Tarka and newly-opened Namaste in Georgetown and they don't compare with Tejis. My daughter and look for any opportunity to go there. We both will eat no other Indian food except at Tejis.

Yelp
Auntie's at it again in the Austin area: Well alright, alright, their grocery section came in handy. We needed to pick up sugar so we were able to purchase a pack while waiting for our to-go order. Yay to the Imperial Sugar brand! Our family ordered several entrees to-go twice while we were in the area. Yum y'all. Why only one pic of foodporn? Welp the curry dishes look similar on camera minus the hue. So.....yeah.... Impressive how the chicken biryani wasn't dry. I know! Really flavorful w/some lingering heat. Great portion for sharing too. I did. btw, was it wrong to layer some of the biryani w/raita? The cooling balancing cucumber yogurt sauce neutralized the palate when needed. Oh well too late nom nom nom. Mmmm, I topped the yellow dal on everything. Yes to lentils everyday!! Addicting welcoming taste for even the novices. Try some. Say ahhhhhh. BroE and SisL always order the lamb curry each. They don't share. Nah. They get their own. They're creatures of habit. Likely also because it's a savory pick. Y'all, their butter chicken was the butteriest (that's a word) of all the butter chickens BroJ had ever enjoyed. No pressure. For any new-to-him locations, BroS makes it a mandatory rule to order chicken vindaloo. He prefers heat w/tasty spice. We all agreed this was the dish w/the most heat. Read what we ordered. This topped the scale. Delicious. Several of us spooned the sauce over plain rice routinely. SisL got 2 orders of kheer (rice pudding) - one for dessert and another for breakfast. She always thinks ahead. I miss this place already. I'll be back soon and for longer so don't change. oxox

Yelp
Always good. Never crowded for a sit down dinner but the go business hustles. I have never been disappointed with any dish that I have ordered.
google avatar

Heather E.

Yelp
I ordered paneer tikka masala because I'm a vegetarian and they sent chicken. I emailed to express my concern that I had eaten chicken on accident (which made me sick) instead of an apology I get sent a link to add my birthday to their mailing list. I have not eaten chicken by choice in 17 years... until you do something about this mistake you have lost a customer.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was good ( rice was meh), the place was clean but the waitperson seemed not to care to be there. After we were served the wait person sat down at a table across the room and picked their nose. Made sure both nostrils were good and clean before getting up to take a phone order, handle a delivery order and then proceed to serve food to another customer that came in. It was so gross we stopped eating, paid and left. I could not bring myself to say anything as I couldn't wait to leave. So disgusting and blatantly unsanitary without a care in the world.

Yelp
This place has a lot of potential but we didn't have a pleasant experience. Let's get straight into the review. Location: Located around Round Rock Ave in a little shopping center with other restaurants around. Hoody's, Hao-Hao, Taqueria Arandinas, and a coffee shop are all focal points to help you find this spot. Parking is plenty. Atmosphere: More like a hole in the wall. Upon entering, there is a Indian grocery store to the left and then a restaurant that would be directly in front of you. Seating area has several tables and booths. If I have to predict how many people can be seated with up to four people per table, I'd say about 60 people can dine here at one time. Menu: The menu is big but organized the way I like it. It was easy to distinguish what main ingredients would be used from chicken to lamb and so forth. The appetizer menu here was big too. Food: Ordered several items here from the butter chicken to the paneer combo and some different naans they had here. The butter chicken was pretty salty to me. It reminded me of that one friend that tries placing bets with you and gets mad at you for winning the bets. Tried a bit of everything else and some of the side dishes were colder than the temperatures in Chicago with the polar vortex. The naan bread were okay. The lassi was solid. I still ate as much as I could but I failed at finishing at everything I ordered. Note: I finish like EVERYTHING I eat. Service: Walking in, there was a waitress who gave us sort of a, "fuck off out of here," look. She seated us then got another person to take our order. I thought that was weird and very unprofessional that she didn't really acknowledge our existence. The guy who served us was really cool. Ever get that awkward feeling that there may be something or someone watching you and your every move? I felt we were being stared at the whole time. No refills or offers of refills. The only thing we got were our meals in terms of service. Value: I would say this place is highly overpriced and I will tell you why. First the service was piss poor. Secondly, the food was okay. Third, food-to-cost ratio did not match up. I felt I paid more here than at a Brazilian steakhouse. Don't get mad at me for tipping poorly when I receive shit services. Good service--I tip VERY well. Shit service equals a much smaller tip. I'm reasonable. Would I recommend this place? Honestly, no. I've tried plenty of Indian restaurants in the Austin area and this would not be within my top 3 choices to go to. I would say I would pick a run down McDonald's over this joint simply for the customer service alone. These guys should hire people who care about the clientele that come in. A "fuck you" attitude is a no-go for me. My rating: 2/5. Starting to regret it. Possibly won't be back here. Needing to desperately fix major and minor issues with the experience.

Sunita Q.

Yelp
Ordered the following for delivery -- Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, Raita, Tandoori Chicken, and Saag Paneer. All of the food came nice and warm. However -- Butter Chicken had vinegar in it. That's all we could taste was the vinegar. Saag Paneer was bitter. Tandoori Chicken was overcooked and dry. Raita was watery with no flavor. Garlic naan was not fresh. The only thing that was edible was the basmati rice that came with the dishes. Is this what happens when you order take out? You get old, leftover food? This is the most disgusting Indian food I have ever eaten and will NEVER order from here again. Shame on this restaurant for serving this garbage to your take-out patrons.
google avatar

Lance G.

Yelp
This review is for take-out only. This is not the closest Indian place for me, but I drive extra because the food is better. As other people have noted there are are some consistency issues. Spice levels vary (I like it spicy) and with things like vindaloo, the meat size and ratio-to-potatoes vary a lot. Pros: decent price, better than average Indian take-out, Indian groceries (a plus if you cook at home). Cons: Ambience is not great (I've never felt the desire to eat there), some food inconsistencies. Despite any inconsistencies, I've never had anything I would consider "bad" and everything is always eaten. I've tried a few other places, but this has been my "go-to" for several years.

Yelp
Amazing chicken tika masala, palak paneer and garlic nan. It's always fun to look at all the stuff in their grocery store, we picked up a box of interesting samosas...for much later....a nap is in order after our feast....zzzzz

Yelp
Ordered chicken and goat biryanis yesterday from this place while visiting family in Austin. When delivered the food portions were minuscule for the price. You get half a styrofoam container with maybe 4 pieces of meat for 12 dollars!! A complete ripoff...we had to go out to eat again because two biryanis were not enough for 4 people. Stay away from this place and go someplace where you get a fair value for your hard earned money

Brian C.

Yelp
This is exceptionally terrible Indian food. The chicken tikka masala tastes like they used tomato sauce. The chicken for this dish and butter chicken was definitely was not marinated or spiced enough. Incredibly bland and chewy. The mango lassi only tastes like yogurt, not even a hint of mango. Avoid!
google avatar

Travis C.

Yelp
I recently ordered the Lamb Combo for lunch a few days ago. It was delicious, however it only came with three small pieces of lamb which kind of put a damper on the whole meal. The curry was delicious along with the bread. The rice custard was also great. I would recommend that they increase the portion size of the Lamb. Otherwise it was a very good meal.

Yelp
During a food discussion at work, it was recommended that I go to Teji's for really good Indian food. So, when dinner time came and the cousin and I couldn't decide on what we wanted, Teji's sounds like a solid choice. We enter into the dimly lit restaurant and were greeted almost immediately by a wait staff. They stated we could sit where ever we please. As they followed us to our table and sat down, we ordered our drinks. Because we were undecided on what we wanted, we asked our server about recommendations. She mentioned the popular dishes being the tikka Marsala, korma, tandoori, and biryani and rice dishes, but her favorite being the korma. So, we ordered garlic naan, lamb korma, and lamb biryani. Everything was delicious. The garlic naan was soft, fluffy, and full of garlic! It was a great dipped in korma. The korma was rich, flavorful, and creamy and the lamb was incredibly tender. The rice in the biryani was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the lamb was almost as tender as the lamb in the korma. The portions were very generous as well. Had to take half of my food To go. By the way, reheated korma and biryani was almost just as great as the restaurant. I'm definitely coming back. You should go too! :)

Yelp
Been long time customer. Something has changed...new chef? Quality is not what it was. Been couple times over past few weeks and consistently bad food. Something has changed and looking at recent reviews others have seen same. Also product from grocery side going down hill with many products having expiration dates well over due. A shame as this place rocked. Takara here I come. Other places will get my business....folks start looking elsewhere as this is not the same Teji's that was.

Yelp
The trick to ordering Indian cuisine that you are not familiar with is knowing what your "go-to" dishes are For example, dishes that are pretty much safe to order at any Chinese restaurant: fried rice and sesame chicken. At Teji's, if you aren't sure what to order, your "go-to" dishes should be the Butter Chicken and Mixed Tandoori Grill. With the garlic naan on the side. Butter chicken is like a creamy tomato basil sause on steroids. Its flavorful, and impactful for your tastebuds. I'm sure you can order this spicy, but the mild version is a good place to start. Dump this generous sause portion on the bed of rice and you are set. Tandoori grill was just as delirious. Large chunks of chicken, lamb, and more. After you pull the meat apart you'll be tempted to lick your fingers. Garlic naan has lots of garlic pieces and seasoning. Some of the naan pieces are thicker than the others and thus more doughy. Still cooked, but thicker. Can't wait to try more of the dishes. I think Chicken Tiki Masala will be my next entree.

Timothy B.

Yelp
Started going here when it first opened but not worth going to anymore. Today placed an order for two chicken tikka masala and what I received consists of what should be a single serving. Furthermore the quality is nowhere near what it was in the past. Now need to find a new place for Indian food.

Yelp
So this is the place to go to get a bang for your buck, which is why I gave it four stars. Obviously for those prices you can't expect gourmet food. My food recommendations: I'd steer clear of the chaats bc they are just okay. Nothing wow or shocking. it barely satisfied my chaat craving. You can probably make it yourself. The chicken 65 was great! The Navrathan korma was delicious. Now my fellow diabetics and low carb folks, steer clear Of the chicken naan wraps. I thought the wrap was going to be filled with curry chicken or chicken and gravy. Instead the giant wrap had 3 pieces of chicken and the rest was rice and curry sauce. That being said, one naan wrap can feed two people. Portion sizes are large

Yelp
Legit food. Quality has been pretty consistent so far. The combo's are thalis and last two meals for me and includes dessert. The korma preparation is similar to the Korma I grew up eating so when I crave Korma, I usually get it from here than elsewhere. Vindaloo is proper spicy and can't go wrong with Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala. They also have chicken wings dipped in your 'sauce' of choice (korma, tika masala, curry etc) which I found interesting and have not seen at other Indian restaurants before. Not much of an ambiance but it is a grocery store/restaurant combo so that's expected. Service is iffy, there's always different people every time I go. Overall, solid prices and good consistent food.

Yelp
Good naan....I Really don't recommend the chicken vindaloo, though. Absurdly hot and I like hot. Wouldn't have been as bad if I was offered more water. Rice seemed old and flavorless. Cold, Dark, Depressing atmosphere with no music. Sadly wasted $20. I really don't like giving bad reviews but that's the best review I can give.

Yelp
Last week we wanted to order out and used Grub Hub. We ordered four items and the order was right on time. That's the only thing good about this experience. Unfortunately, Teji's shorted us an item. When challenged on this failure the person answering the phone said they had neglected to tell the kitchen to make all four items. GrubHub was in too much of a hurry to check the order, so we were short. We did get a refund for the missed item. This is not the first time Teji's has screwed up a take-out order but it's the last time I will ever order take-out from them. It's a perfect example of how dipshit employees ruin a business. Additionally, the food was lackluster, and if we'd been in the store it would have been sent back to the kitchen. Something has gone wrong at this location and needs fixing.

Yelp
Came here on a recommendation. I don't recommend coming here for dinner - lunch is better priced and the portions seem to be much better. The food was good but for the price paid the portions were very small. Left hungry. Got the chicken tikka masala, lamb kebab, and garlic naan ($3). Masala had like 5 pieces of chicken in it. Lamb was good but just served over a bed of raw onion. To leave a restaurant feeling hungry after you just dropped $40 feels bad and I don't think I'll be returning. Ventured into the shop next door after dinner and wanted some tea. Picked up a box and then glanced down at the expiration date: September 2015. ok so don't know if they don't pay attention to the dates but four years past due in the garbage. No thank you.

Yelp
I wanted to love it but I didn't. The place is definitely a little run down and not well kept- dirty and had a bit so fresh smell upon entering. Went in and no one greeted us or said anything for close to 5-7 minutes. Our waitress lacked any sense of customer service but okay, fine. She never asked us how the food was which I'm guessing because she knew we didn't enjoy it. There were two other tables and people picking up to-go orders so obviously someone likes the food. The food was bland and didn't taste fresh. We tried butter chicken and tikka masala and neither had much flavor. The butter chicken tasted very sweet. Typically, I like to go to a place at least 2-3 times before placing ruling it out but in this case, it would be pointless- terrible food, dirty restaurant and minimal service.
