Telephone Factory Lofts (TFL) is a great place to live. We've been there 2 years now and the location is awesome. We can walk or bike to just about anything - groceries, liquor store, restaurants, bars, you name it. So much going on in the neighborhood!
The space itself is very cool. Each one is slightly different, but still maintains the vibe of a loft and the original factory. Super high ceilings, lots of light from great windows, and there's tons of space, even in the "studio" lofts! Only complaint about the space itself is there's no vent in the kitchen. The fire alarm goes off every time we cook bacon or roast a chicken in the oven!
The neighbors are great as well. Many have been there for years. and everyone helps each other out. And most have dogs. So we all hang out, while our dogs play out back.
We recently got a new property manager; its yet to be determined if he can live up to the two prior ones - Navini and Joey were awesome! And Steve, the handy man, is the best. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly.
The reason for only four stars is they recently went up on the rent ... substantially. Rents are already sky hi in ATL, but theirs seem a little higher than most. I'll pay it for now, but if it goes up anymore, I'm out!
