I recently contacted my longtime mobile service provider to simply get a new number and phone package. It took over 2 hours of "customer service chat" without ever speaking to a person, only for them to tell me at the end of said chat that I would have to go to a store and do it. So I immediately ditched them for Telus and I'm thrilled with this provider. I went to the Telus store in the Avalon Mall and was taken care of by Rafi, a lovely young man who was super friendly and very informative -- and had my new number and service up and running in 15 minutes. Excellent customer service from Rafi! Probably going to switch my internet soon as well, so expect me back, Rafi. 5 stars.

I recently made the decision to move all of my services over to Telus—including my business line, home phone, internet, cell phone plan, home security, and more—and I cannot emphasize enough how absolutely amazing my experience has been with the Telus store at Avalon Mall. From the very beginning, the service has been nothing short of exceptional. I was there today July 29, 2025 at 6:30 pm and I had an unpleasant experience. I went in because I wanted to buy out my phone. They told me I couldn't do that in store which is all fine and dandy, but when I was going to ask a question about how to go about doing this they very rudely both walked away from me and started serving other people, whilst I was sat at one of their desks. To say I am very displeased would be an understatement.

Needs more staff on the floor. Only two staff here tied up with phone activations with ppl who want to know every little thing with about six customers in line waiting. 3 of them ended up walking out. I drove all the way from CBS and waited until they closed and never got seen. What a joke

Telus has to have the worse customer service ever. I have been having issues with my phone making and receiving calls for a week now. The in-store staff are amazing. They did fix it last week but now it is happening again. I have been trying to have a rep message me since I can't make or receive calls but the bot keeps saying they don't understand. This virtual stuff is useless if they can't help. I know most all the companies have the same customer service issues. But telus has to be the worst I ever dealt with.

I had a lot of issues when I entered into a new bring it back agreement because of some significant errors in how my agreement was set up by the selling agent. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to resolve things through customer care, I came into the Telus Koodo store in the Avalon Mall. John Burt, the Assistant Store Manager, was fabulous in walking through the process with me and resolving all of my issues to my satisfaction. He went above and beyond and was able to solve everything. I highly recommend John Burt and his team!
