Met an old friend for lunch and stayed for a few hours. I had a few beers and she had some margaritas. She got the fish tacos and i got the grilled tacos. The place is nice and clean and service good. Decent portions and a good size meal.

This was my first time and certainly not my last to Temazcal Burlington. Davi was our server and he was so friendly and attentive. It was like being at a friends house. The food was not only delicious but looks so beautifully presented. Our mezcal espresso martinis were by far the best espresso martinis we have had locally. I highly recommend this restaurant for food and service! Thanks again Davi!

Google
Good location with ample parking and right where all the restaurants are in Burlington. The food was good , really loved the Nachos. My drink was a bit higher with agave , so little on the sweeter side than what I prefer. The service was a bit delayed. They brought our appetizers and then brought chips and salsa only before our main order. Not a bad option if you are in the area and prefers Mexican.

When in the central Rt 128 area of greater suburban Boston, and in the mood for Mexican cuisine, Temazcal is always at the top of my list! Spicy, fresh guacamole is an addiction, and one of several reasons I head here. OMG ... shrimp fajita dish! And drinks ... expert bartenders! I limit myself to one per visit, unless I have a passanger who can be a designated driver - then TWO ... always Fuego or Mezcal Margarita for me!

Karyn Martin

Google
If you are in the mood for Mexican, then put Temazcal on your list! The environment is fun, the guacamole is made fresh, and the menu has a wide variety. A note about the guacamole, it’s spicy, really spicy. And no one tells you that in advance. When we returned the dish, that we had waited for very patiently, we were told “yeah, we hear a lot. People don’t realize how spicy it will be.” (Note: maybe giving diners a heads up on this is some thing that should go into the basic server handbook.) The beet salad was excellent. The sauces that came with the chips were really interesting. And they accommodated our request for a combo grilled chicken and shrimp fajita dish. It was large and delicious. We sat at the bar, and our service was pretty haphazard- the only reason why I took off a star. But, definitely worth the drive and next time I’m looking forward to table service.

Google
The food was delicious and the service was great! The portions are a good size and you get a mountain of chips to start.

Host staff wasn't very welcoming and seated us upstairs without asking if that was alright. Luckily, I was having a good day and was able to make it up the stairs. The server and the food were redeeming - beautifully presented and delicious.

Google
Had a terrible experience here across the board. To start, it took about 20 minutes for anyone to come to our table and bring us drinks. Food came out very slowly and our server barely came over to us. The food was mediocre, nothing special. To top it off, they subscribed me to their newsletter, probably got my email from an online reservation. Subpar food, terrible service, and the newsletter was strike 3. Do not recommend. 👎

Yelp
We were here on a Monday night. It was a great atmosphere. We sat at the bar and watched the hockey game. Chips, salsa, bean dip to start and all three had great flavors. I had the tortilla soup, it came out with queso, jalapeños, tortilla strips and avocado that you can mix in yourself. The wife had chicken tacos, there were two and they had a pretty good portion of chicken also with great flavor. We tried the traditional and primo margaritas. They were both delicious and enough to have two of them each.

Daniel T.

Yelp
Food was gross (tacos literally fell apart while picking them up). Service is pretty rude. Drinks are mediocre. I would avoid this place.

Sarah G.

Yelp
Food was not good. Steak fajitas looked and tasted like dog food. Birria tacos were soggy and tasteless. The consume tasted like tomato sauce. The best part was the nice filtered water served at the beginning!

Richard C.

Yelp
Went next door to order a dozen pizza's for grand daughters birthday this weekend. My wife said lets go next door and have a drink. My wife's drink was not good and mine was worse. I ordered a scotch on the rocks and I don't think there was 3/4 of ounce. I haven't been there in a few years and now I remember why. Not worth the time to stop by

Yelp
My son and I were in the area and needed to stop for lunch. We tried Temazcal and were not disappointed. The chips came with three different dips: red salsa, green salsa sweetened with honey and agave, and puréed beans. All three were good in their own way, my favorite being the bean dip. For lunch he got Mac and cheese from the kids menu and I got the Tacos Mechados (braised short rib). Both came quickly and were good. The rice had good flavor but was a bit dry. There weren't many patrons since we came at an off time (2pm) so maybe the rice was leftover from the traditional lunch hour. I also had a house margarita which was a little disappointing. The taste was all right, but the glasses were deceivingly small and were thickly coated in salt (the salt wasn't a deal breaker since I was given a straw). Although wide like a margarita glass, they were shallow and after a few sips I was left with nothing but ice. Not a great drink considering they're $14. The waitress was awesome. She was super attentive and very sweet - she gets 5 stars for sure. Overall it was ok, my kids like Mexican restaurants and I love Mexican food. If we're in the area I'd go again but wouldn't order a drink unless it was beer.

Pete M.

Yelp
This was an ok place. The food was good after a long day of travel between flights and driving from the airport. The drinks were good but not the best we have had. Our bartender was at the bar the whole time but helping with many other things even tho the restaurant wasn't really that full. Inside the restaurant was kind of dark. Old folks like me that didn't bring readers had s as little difficulty reading the menu without using a phone to zoom in

Nick C.

Yelp
This was a lackluster visit. The waitstaff was friendly but not quite attentive. I had the chicken fajitas and the chicken was moist but the rest of the dish was loaded with onions (very little peppers), a tiny side dish of rice and beans, and just overall lacked enough substance for a good fajita. Its was the same for my friend. Our wives did however enjoy their salads. We sat upstairs which felt more like an afterthought space and it didn't really feel like they had the AC on, atleast not at a comfortable temp.

Olivia N.

Yelp
Just left Temazcal after having my birthday dinner, and I was really pleased with my grilled chicken tacos - so much so I had to give my compliments to the chef! The complimentary tortilla chips and salsas/beans were also very delicious - I loved the green salsa, I never tasted anything like it. Our server, I believe his name is Edgar, was great, too. My fiancé says he also really enjoyed the birria tacos. Thanks for the tres leches cake for my birthday! We'll definitely be back.

Michelle R.

Yelp
Nice service, but poor quality food. I ordered the blackened fish tacos and they lacked any spice or flavor. The rice was hard and chewy. The atmosphere was nice, but it was not the worth the hefty price tag.

Yelp
A party of 4, two adults & an 11/14 year old. We had reservations for 6:15pm on a Saturday, which I was able to make last minute (roughly 20mins before). First time at the Burlington location and thought the interior was a lot smaller than it seems from the outside. The ambiance is warm, dark, and somewhat comfortable, depending on your seating. The first floor is basically a large bar that wraps around, and would be a fun place to hang out with adults. Upstairs is where they have seating for larger parties, and where they put people with kids. There is a second smaller bar upstairs too. Our server, Joseph, was very nice, patient, and had an upbeat attitude. He seemed to be in charge of most of the tables so he did a good job keeping us in mind as he worked his section. The food was okay. Honestly liked the free chips and dips the most, I got steak tacos and, while it was supposed to be crunchy, it was mostly damp. The aside of rice had decent flavor. I had the classic margarita; it was fine but not anything I'd order again. For what it's worth, it was a great place in a pinch. The prices are reasonable, ranging between $15-$30 and I would go back for their long list of tequilas (which I wasn't ready to explore since it wasn't that kind of night).

Dale P.

Yelp
Absolutely awful. The Fuego margaritas was tasty but tiny and the Enchiladas Verde were inedible. The enchiladas were basically 3 taquitos with no flavor and they try to cover the lack of food with a mound of rice. Worst Mexican food I have ever had, including frozen microwave meals.

Jeanine R.

Yelp
Sat at the bar w my husband on Saturday night one bartender was on service was very slow. Ordered meals food came out and the food runner spilts beans/bean juice on me. She didnt even apologize. Waited a few mins to see if the bartender/server would come over to give us utensils unfortunately he didn't. I went up to the hostess to get a couple roll ups and spoke to the manager an our experience so far. He did say sorry however it didn't seem genuine. I'm really shocked he didn't even offer to pay for my dry cleaning of my pants and vest or comp a drink. the service has really gone downhill

Leeann R.

Yelp
Don't Go . Save yourself the trouble .Beautiful restaurant. , Horrible wait Staff but not table waitstaff The Bar !! 10 people at the Bar ignored for 20 minutes no drinks or even a greeting. Then we got drinks and chips while the staff were on their phones, chatting with each other while we all waited for drinks again. ALSO Saturdays must be help yourself to booze behind the Bar Staff had a little party going on Check your camera...

Yelp
As a Californian who loves Mexican food, I was really excited to try this place. Unfortunately, it was horrible service that took 45+ minutes to get our food with no one checking on us that whole time. The food was ok but not worth the money or experience.

Rachel S.

Yelp
Ordered takeout for the first time for dinner on a weeknight. We ordered their chicken taquitos, Tortilla salad, chipotle fries, and churros. Balance came out to over $40. We ordered delivery through Uber Eats. What's hot - Takeaway packaging. Pretty good! With the exception of the salad, all the takeaway containers were paper, which is environmentally friendly. During this time of the pandemic, where so many people are ordering takeaway, it's reassuring to see restaurants take steps to being environmentally friendly. Additionally, the tortilla bowl for the salad was wrapped separately, in a paper bowl and then wrapped together in cling wrap. It all held up well for delivery. Additionally, we also received a box of tortilla chips with 2 small containers of salsa and beans. Happy to receive their complimentary items, as well. All the takeaway containers had our name written on it, which was reassuring, because it showed they were keeping track of our food and making sure we received everything we ordered. - Quality. Pretty delish. Their chipotle fries actually had a slightly spicy kick, which is what we wanted and expected. Could've been more spicy, but at least it was there. Be prepared that if you have a high tolerance, it won't meet your expectations. All their food was well-seasoned and flavorful. The cumin salad dressing was a nice kick, which added flavor to the tortilla salad bowl, as well. The churros also came with a caramel dipping sauce. - Portions. Pretty good. For example, their chicken taquitos came with their own in-house made chips sprinkled with cheese. The food was enough to get us full. - Price. Not bad value for money, especially given the quality and portions. What's not - Portions. Because the salad is all veggies, it didn't come out to a good size portion. Maybe it's because I love salad and can eat a lot of it, it didn't seem very plentiful. But be prepared. Their chicken taquitos are only 3 taquitos, which isn't a lot and not easy to share. Also be prepared that in order to get full, you'll probably need to order a few dishes. - Price. Because you'll probably be ordering multiple dishes to share and to get full, be prepared for your tab to add up quickly. For 2 people, we spent almost $50. Final Answer Not bad and would probably get food from here again.

Cheryl M.

Yelp
They were short staffed which made the dinner more than two hours. We had to ask at the reservation desk to order a second round. But that is not great, but understandable. What was not was my fajita that must have sat too long so they threw sauce on it. Gross! We were out with new friends so I picked thru it. I will never return!

Sj M.

Yelp
The food was acceptable but not great, but the service and waits were unacceptable. Hard to say if it was staffing levels, training, or both. The table was missing napkins and utensils, we were never checked on after the dishes were served, no opportunity to order a dessert was offered. In order to get the check I needed to get up, search for any help, and pay at a bar register. I'm glad I had a great dinner partner, but we were there for 2 1/2 hours which was a bit like being held hostage.

Hillary L.

Yelp
Service was great, food was delicious, place was clean. Th staff was attentive. Loved how I could book it online.

Jasonn D.

Yelp
We had a great time at Temazcal. Our waiter was very attentive and the food and drinks were on point. I recommend the tequila flight with any meal!

Sarah F.

Yelp
I have to give this place a 1 star as there is no zero! My husband and I stopped there last night and wow! We walked in and had to look for the host; he was on his phone and wearing air pods. He asked us if we had a reservation; we said no and looked around as there were some empty tables . He asked if we wanted to sit outside; we said sure and when we went out all of the tables were dirty and had not been cleaned off. Some even had dishes with flies on it! We were so grossed out that we said no thanks and left. If you want to go to Temezcal I suggest the one in Lynnfield, MA. They have great food and service! Burlington sure could use some of their advice. Not sure I'll ever go back.

Lee Joy V.

Yelp
Boyfriend's first time at Temazcal and he loved it! We celebrated my birthday. Food was delicious. Service was great. Atmosphere was just perfect. His steak was cooked well-done just how he likes it. My enchiladas with Mexican rice and verde sauce definitely hit the spot. Portions were also generous. Would certainly come back and try other items on the menu.

Tom V.

Yelp
Everything was very good. Nice , clean dining room. Service was great too. Meal started off with chips and 3 different dipping sauces. We had the quesadillas and the chicken fajitas. Look forward to coming back.

Dianne B.

Yelp
My husband and I had lunch at this wonderful restaurant last weekend. We were part of a large group (9) but the waitress handled it beautifully. Mackenzie, our server was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Both my husband and I have food restrictions which make it very difficult to eat at restaurants. Basically, we are a server's worst nightmare. He has celiac disease and I have oral allergy syndrome. I told Mackenzie not to worry if there was nothing I could eat because as long as I had a martini I'd be fine. I was only half joking. She took notes, talked to the chef, and the next thing you know we both had delicious food, beautifully presented, and safe! The chef not only went out of his way to make something we could eat, he prepared artistically gorgeous plates for everyone in the party. When we are visiting that way again we will be sure to stop in for a meal!

Lynne G.

Yelp
Saturday night birthday dinner for party of 6, was an exceptional evening. Amazing margaritas, tequila tasting flights, and the food and service was excellent. I would definitely go again.

Sravani D.

Yelp
If you live around Burlington and are looking for a place serving decent , delicious margaritas and not some pre-made stuff, then by all means pick Temezcal. With the very first sip we knew we made the right choice with the restaurant. We seated ourselves in the bar area and the bartender ALFREDO needs a special mention. He knew his stuff and whipped us up really good stuff. His service was impeccable too! I only wish the food were up to the mark. The chicken enchiladas especially were just average. I would rather say the food by all means was ok and nothing that stood out. My advice: drive down to border cafe ( less than a mile away) for some good tex-mex food after the drinks at Temezcal :)

Amara L.

Yelp
I ended up here with some family for a quick lunch. The building is very beautiful on the outside and as for the inside it has a really nice ambience. I went during midday and it happened to be quite empty. I think there was about 8 guests including ourselves when I got there. This was only downstairs though, so i'm not sure if anyone was upstairs . Either way if you don't like a lot of noise or people that would be a good time to go. As for the food, I really enjoyed the complimentary restaurant style tortilla chips! The salsas/dip that came with it were pretty good as well! I ordered the Grilled Chicken Tacos for my entree, and I was unfortunately kind of disappointed in them. If the rice and beans on the side were not so good I would have given 3 stars! That saved the dish! I The tacos were lacking flavor to me, especially the chicken itself. That was my only issue. The staff was kind and very attentive! I would probably come again and try something different!

Nitin G.

Yelp
We ordered takeout. The food was just ok. It was way overpriced. For example this is the entire side order of seasonal vegetables for $7. There were only a few slivers of sliced zucchini.

Jennine T.

Yelp
We've eaten at this location once - had a lovely time, and at the Framingham/Natick location twice where it was excellent. Tonight, we came in to celebrate a special occasion and it was very very bad. We made a reservation, but we still had to wait when we arrived. Everything took a very long time because we were seated by a huge party and one server was taking care of too many people. We waited for the chips, had to ask repeatedly for water, had to wait for everything! The chips were stale. The server said that he'd heard that complaint a few times that night. Our food came out so fast, but it was clear that it was thrown together. Some parts were hot, but most were not - like the rice and beans were not hot at all. My kids love their burgers and fries, but it took over 20 minutes for anyone to bring ketchup. I asked two different servers, and we still waited a while for ketchup. The waters were never refilled. The kids' drinks were never served. We had to wave a server down for everything, and when we did raise a few concerns when we finally were asked how things were going, no one apologized or anything. No one asked us if we'd like another drink or a dessert. It was super disappointing especially as it was a special occasion and because they call it "fine dining."

Gio B.

Yelp
So we went there because I was craving Mexican and my friend who was driving told me that was the only mexican restaurant close to the area where were, so we went there. When we arrived - it was a Sunday night, we could not tell my just looking in if the place was open as it was pretty empty, we decided to go in anyway to see if it was actually open. Surprise, surprise! It was open. Bar empty, 1 family eating on the entrance level, plenty of empty tables at that level, but the server brings us to the upper level. Ok then ... we waited a little while to get served. My friend ordered fish tacos that he was ok with. I got the steak fajitas ( OVERPRICED) steak fajitas - a complete waste of money. Bland - VERY blend food! - Will NOT return!

Fernando P.

Yelp
Very disappoint I got paella for me and my wife they serve only rice sea with couple shrimps besides tasted bad probably was spoiled . The worse ever sea food I got on my live

Julie T.

Yelp
The ambiance is fantastic. My short rib wuesifilla was soggy. I think that wS caused by over-filling. it with meat.

Christina M.

Yelp
The food was good. We got the shrimp fajitas. A few of the shrimps were extra charred though. The tortillas were fantastic and the chips and dips were very hot start. The reason I am not giving it a better rating is because the service was not great. At all.

Anshita S.

Yelp
Temazcal was on my list to try for ever and when I finally got a chance to dine here, I couldn't have been more excited. But unfortunately both the service as well as the food were way below average. To begin with we ate here sunday night when mojority of the restaurant was empty yet the service was super slow. We had to get the attention of our server or just wait for eternity for everything from food to drinks to even the check. The food though couldn't have been worse. Corn crusted calamari was chewy and soggy; grilled vegetable tacos were average, chicken was super dry and inedible; the only item that tasted decent were the french fries. I don't think giving this place another chance is even worth it.

Anthony S.

Yelp
Temazcal has that WOW factor when you first walk in. A beautiful crescent moon bar with a glass back splash and lights that really show case their supreme alcohol selection. After taking a seat at the bar or at one of the leather sectionals, you are captivated by the dark interior. It is complimented by the white granite bar top. The low lighting mixed with the bars interior makes this a prefect spot to get an after work drink. The 200+ tequila on the menu provided the options for any type of drinker. From margaritas to tequilas on the rocks. However, sadly, I would only suggest this place for the drinks and atmosphere. The food was subpar. The presentation was spectacular. I only wish it tasted as amazing as it looked. The calamari was too soft, to the point of being mushy, and not very fresh. The lecture wrap ahi tuna tacos. An amazing plating. So much so, you almost don't even want to disturb it. Although, much more fresh than the calamari, still underwhelming. There wasn't much in the way of taste and the char could have been better. I was looking for a perfectly charred skin around a delectably fresh fish. Again, looking at the plate you would except some robust Mexican flavors. Sadly no. It didn't taste like much of anything. The rice was beautiful cook. Light and fluffy. Again, no flavor. The Beans were the most tasteful item on the plate. Rich and Smokey! Beautiful! I cannot forget to mention the chips and 3 sauces that are provided too you. All three good and nicely flavored. Frustrating because there is a potential. Especially when something as simple as chips and drip they manage to knock out of the park. Again, the smoked bean dipped offered with them. Beautiful done. Temazcal also has an upper leave with what looks like a huge screen TV. unsure if outdoor seating is provided. I did not get the pressure to experience this during this visit. Although I am sure the atmosphere is much the same. A prefect spot to grab a great drink after a long work day. The bartender are fantastic and will provided you with a nice

Christine V.

Yelp
I know the servers are understaffed and underpaid bit we had the most unhelpful and unfriendly server. The food was not worth enduring the service here again.

Nancy S.

Yelp
Having lived in CA most of my life makes me the worst critic of New England Mexican restaurants. I continue to search for spicy food in an attempt to fill the void. I wouldn't say this establishment fits the bill, but it was worth a try and some of the flavors were good, just not spicy. My choice was chorizo enchiladas which should've been a safe choice, although it's the first time I've ever had an enchilada that was deep fried and crunchy. They were basically taquitos, not enchiladas. Void of any spice. The trio of salsas are also void of spice but tasty. I'm starting to see a trend in the NE with blandness and disinterest in hot foods.

Lisa T.

Yelp
Service has gone downhill. We've had the same waiter the last 2 times we went and we were basically on our own, he was awful, no effort at all and unkempt. I used to love this place, it's gone downhill. Can't even justify the service with great food because that has also changed. There's a reason the place isn't as busy as it used to be.

Perry S.

Yelp
This place is fabulous. The presentation of the food alone is what makes me want to go back, never mind how tasty everything is. Decently priced for great quality food.

Jo H.

Yelp
We arrived around 5:30pm on Wednesday, plenty of bar seats available. We were attended to right away. The chips and salsa are the best around. There are 3 types of salsa - traditional and thick with medium heat, sweet salsa verde and a black bean bacon salsa, so yummy! And Complimentary! The chips were crispy and plenty of them. We ordered the queso fundido which was a generous portion served with 4 tortillas. We will definitely return at some point to try dinner, but after these snacks we were both full. The bar was clean and the bartenders were pleasant and attentive.

Alina C.

Yelp
Tezmacal was a very bad experience! I found a pice of GLASS in my quesadilla, and no apologies at all!, I'm not going ever there again, the bartender Frankie was so disrespectful. Poor customer service!

Kevin B.

Yelp
Was prepared for a mediocre chain, pleasantly surprised! Food was delicious, portions were plentiful, decor was nice, staff was friendly. Can't wait to go back. Recommend the guacamole, mole enchiladas, and short rib tacos.

Liana R.

Yelp
The food is Amazing and really good prices and fast fast service i definitely recommend going!!

Rudy D.

Yelp
I went last Friday with my cousin. She ordered a passion fruit margarita, but was brought the same thing as what I got. We told Meghan and she said that's what my cousin ordered, proceeded to bring a menu over and point to what she ordered. My cousin said yes that's the drink, but she expected passionfruit inside, Meghan just looked confused so we said it was alright.. (we've gotten passionfruit flavor before so idk). Also while we were waiting for our drinks, which took about 10 minutes, the server did not come back to us. Another table sat down and she gave them the opportunity to order drinks and food before asking us if we wanted to place our order. At the end, we ordered the churros and they were completely undercooked inside. Maybe the fryer was too hot? We told our server and she asked if we wanted another order. I said no, because we had already been there for way longer than our time allowed. We did not eat them. Meghan did not remove it from the bill nor did she ask a manager to come to our table. Disappointed in the service more than the undercooked churros.

Julie P.

Yelp
EDIT 7/3/18: On the up and up. They are making changes and becoming more consistent. It's so close to us so we tried again - it has gotten better and better with our visits. Keep it up!! Previous post: When Temazcal Burlington first opened, we were ecstatic. I am an avid margarita-drinker and Mexican food eater, and it was .4 miles from our house. We went in during the soft opening and I was astounded by the delicious food and awesome drinks. My husband and I are excited to finally have a Mexican restaurant so close; we couldn't wait to become regulars. Bartenders were personable and kind, even when busy. The training seemed to be pretty on-point as the service was smooth and the food was fresh. We returned a few more times and knew it would be a spot we would visit often. There is one particular bartender, a young woman, who is always lovely. I forget her name but she is talented and funny and smart. I'd go just to visit her! However, people get comfortable. Time moves on and quality becomes, at this point, non-existent. It started with a toothpick in my husbands enchiladas. It was cooked into the meal and thank God, he did not choke on it but had to remove it from his mouth. We told the waitress and I'm fairly confident she could not have cared less. We asked if she would tell the manager and she walked away, later to find she never said anything. We spoke with the manager ourselves upon leaving and his response was, "oh... well, next time you come in, ask for me." Interesting response but okay - we thanked them and left. Mind you, next time we came in, he didn't know what we were talking about. My husband asked the bartender tonight for a margarita on the rocks with salt. The bartender gave him a margarita in a rocks glass with no salt or ice. Like, what? We asked him to make one in a regular margarita glass (if you're going to pay full price, you better get a full margarita!) and he never got the pour right. They were always under the line and after the third, we just said "screw it". Now, every time we go, the service is so, so slow. The food is underwhelming. Our guac is often pasty and the bean dip tasted like chalk. We can't go back because... why spend the money anymore whilst hoping things will c I am currently in the restaurant now, waiting for a bartender who has not checked in on us for over 20 minutes. He forgot to give us utensils, plates, chips, salsas (but brought out guacamole! I did not eat with my hands.) I hope they get back to where they were in the beginning, but it is looking bleak for Temazcal Burlington if this behavior continues.

Yelp
Reservations are good to make if you're coming here on the weekend. (If you don't mind sitting at the bar that's also an option). I came on a Saturday, we sat at the bar because there was a 45 min wait without reservation. This tells you a lot since there is a lot of seating (2 floors inside) and outside dining as well. Our server Josh was friendly, attentive, made great conversation with us and the rest of the people sitting at the bar. I ordered "La Casita" which is the translation of a house margarita. Although, I enjoyed it much more than any house margarita I've had anywhere else. It was pretty big and also really strong. Josh makes varies different drinks depending on what you like. He even has a customer favorite that has spice to it, if you're into that he can hook you up. He charges it as the cheapest drink since it's not on the menu. Food: complementary chips with 3 different types of dip (a definite plus). Shrimp quesadilla was good, but I probably wouldn't order it again, it didn't have much flavor to it. Enchiladas were more of a better choice. The atmosphere of the restaurant is worth coming back to, a little more pricy than a casual Mexican restaurant, but either way I'd still recommend it. The drinks were my favorite!

Yelp
Just to preface this, the waitstaff has been great and it's an easy place to get a group together. However, the food was bland and not authentic in my opinion. This place does have gorgeous cocktails - I'd recommend Temazcal for drinks and appetizers for a casual colleague or group get-together. There's two options for seating (ground floor and upstairs) with slightly different ambiances, take your pick.

Yelp
Spent a Saturday night at the bar and over the course of the 1st hour we we're asked for our dinner choice before a cocktail....$14 for what maybe 6oz of margarita..why is it so difficult for bartenders to not get the simple things right ...when I did order the chicken tortilla soup was more like beef chili..had to ask for napkins..spoon to eat ..then my first margarita was cleared she asked if I wanted another but not my wife again the simple things ...there are better options for Mexican in the area ..if I mention them in this post it will be deleted ..but you are Welcome to search on your own. ...I know it's challenging to find good help but one of the few time we left a zero tip ...service gets a 1 because you can't select zero ...

Yelp
Don't waste your time. I should have been tipped off, by being able to walk into an empty restaurant on a Friday night. Had a great look and the drinks looked great - However can't confirm! Although there were more workers than patrons, couldn't put an order in. The workers were just cluelessly milling about. Oh well.

Yelp
The service was awesome! I went in with some pretty awful food allergies: no soy, dairy, tree nuts, gluten, or sesame seeds. The waitress Peggy was great and knew right away what I could or couldn't order. I ended up with chicken tacos which were delicious. My drink was also very yummy. Overall great experience.
