When you’re stuck on the 99, what do you do? Take a detour to Temblor Brewing Company. It’s the perfect spot to grab a drink and have lunch or dinner. I came in during lunchtime and had fast, friendly service. They’ve got tons of options for craft beer, and the food was really tasty. I ordered the Nashville West Chicken Sandwich, pork belly tacos, and chicken fingers. The sandwich and chicken fingers were both filling and delicious, while the tacos were smaller but still packed with flavor. The brownie is a must try my kids loved it. The environment is really cool. Definitely a great place to hang out with friends. What makes it even better is that they always have something going on every day of the week to keep locals coming back. If you’re driving through Bakersfield, this is a must-stop spot.

Came for happy hour on a Tuesday (trivia night) so it got full quickly. Chill place: someone was celebrating a birthday, others were playing cards and they had cool tunes playing. We had the crispy artichokes, pepperoni flatbread and brat place (bratwurst was delicious with the caraway seeds). Had the Valencia orange and blood orange beers. They have a vast selection. Will return.

Google
Great atmosphere, amazing drinks, and food. Kid-friendly, I didn't see a menu for them, but they loved the flat bread pizza.

Google
This is one of mine and my husbands favorite places to come eat and have our favorite beer: The streets of Bakersfield. Service is always amazing and the vibe is on point! I have been wanting a streets t-shirt and someone actually went to the back and found one! Super happy and satisfied customer!

Google
Stopped in here on the way back to Stockton from a long road trip to Vegas and this place was a perfect little break for our family. We were just looking for a drink and a bite to eat and Temblor did not disappoint at all. The food was super solid — fresh, well-seasoned, and came out quick. I grabbed a beer and it was smooth and tasty. Our waiter was super chill and friendly, made great recommendations, and even gave us a casual little tour of the place which was a cool surprise. The inside has a really relaxed vibe, plenty of seating and it wasn’t crowded when we were there which made it even more enjoyable. Great spot to unwind for a bit after being on the road for hours. Only downside? The parking lot. It’s really small and kind of cramped. While backing out of a handicapped spot, someone else was backing out at the same time and we ended up bumping into each other not major, but annoying. Other than that, I’d totally come back again. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing through Bakersfield or need a cool stop on the road.

The burger was great and the fries hit the spot. The beer was tasty and the prices are not unexpected but well worth it. I'm a happy customer.

Google
Well, they have thick steak cut fries, perfectly oiled crispy baked corn tortilla chips, and an emphasis on sauces...so I would say this is easily one of the best brewery related food endeavors in my recent memory or perhaps overall. We came because we were so impressed by the menu. We ordered the Nashville West Chicken Sandwich and the Shredded Chicken Nachos, which were both more satisfying than we imagined. So much and many good flavors. Earthquake sauce is my new drink of choice. Also, the beer is creative and unique. I enjoyed the pineapple upside down cake sour so much and Lover had the triple threat. Lover took a bite of the Nashville West Chicken Sandwich and said, quoth I, “This is what I want it to taste like every time I order a [hot chicken] sandwich.”

Google
Atmosphere here is great. They do weekly activitys. The week we came they had a chess night and we've also seen live karaoke play! The food is excellent for a brewing company, not what I would have expected at all. The French dip sandwich is by far one of the best I have ever had , juicy tender beef and delicious au ju. The beer is great aswell , I'm not much of a beer drinker but the flight of beer we got was great . Nice variety of beer for everybody's palete

Yelp
Spencer gave us excellent service and is a very handsome young man. Would 10/10 recommend!!

Yelp
To start, the food is one of the better brewery restaurants in town, or truly in the area, for food and drinks. I truly miss their crisscut sweet potato fries but overall it's one of the better burgers in town, along with their additional food items. Beer is beer but with their addition local area taps, along with the additional beers, ciders and sours from the coastal areas, I would truly say they're one of the top locations in town. I miss some of their courageous concoctions when it comes to beers but I understand the economy and covid took it out of most locations. Great spot of trivia nights, comedy shows and/or some of the performances they've had at this location. The location is for the most part clean, or as clean as you can be with the wood table tops. A little sticky in some spots but what do you expect for a bar/restaurant. Service is always friendly and helpful, if you're one of those people that doesn't know what to order drink wise. They truly have a giant drink menu, compared to their previous menus. Overall, Temblor is a great local establishment and beat out a lot of other locations, brewery wise, or even for restaurants. Love the place and wish them only the best, when it comes to financial stability to keep the doors open. Besides being saddened of the discontinued crisscut sweet potato fries and some of the different original brewings, this place stands out as one of the better spots in Bako.

Yelp
Where is the Banh Mi?? Seriously, what happened to the menu? It has been a while since we have been here but we all needed a beer and lunch after going to the jump park with the kids. The food we did order was ok, their fries are the best, we had fun playing with the board games but dang... what happened to the Banh Mi sandwich?? Bring it back for more stars!!
google avatar

Brandon B.

Yelp
I love the vibe of this place. You can bring your own board games, card games, etc. and enjoy a flight some great food and great conversation. There's TVs to watch sports, they have good brews on tap! It is a great place and it's literally next door to the BLVD! It's a great place to be on an end of the week, weekend, Sunday afternoon! Great service and great vibe.

Yelp
We eat here whenever we stop for the night at Bakersfield River Run RV Park on our way to/from Yosemite or Sequoia National Parks. They have a great beer selection & good food. Opted for a burger today & a Back In Da Haze hazy IPA from Melvin Brewing. After a long white-knuckle drive through LA, this is a great place to unwind. Order beer & food at the bar & they bring it to your table. Cool air conditioning inside, high ceilings; patio has misters to cool you down.

Yelp
Temblor is just a great place to hang out, have some drinks, and have really exceptional food . It's roomy. It's comfy. It's friendly.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting this place, though my friends had been before and told me it was really cool. We stopped by so they could enjoy their nonalcoholic beer. There happened to be a guy named Joey playing the guitar and singing some amazing songs, with his adorable family dancing in front of him--it was such a sweet moment. I didn't eat, drink, or interact much with the staff this time, but I'd definitely come back in the future to try the food! 12/7/24
google avatar

Ignacio S.

Yelp
Five starts because of the awesome beer selection and outstanding customer experience. The atmosphere here is fantastic. Based on what I read on their community board, they host weekly activities. During the week we visited, they had a cancer support bingo night and the college finals game! The food is excellent for a brewing company--definitely not what I expected at all. The French dip sandwich is by far one of the best I've ever had, featuring juicy, tender beef and delicious au jus. The beer is also great. I'm not much of a beer drinker, but the flight of beers we tried was impressive, offering a nice variety to satisfy everyone's palate.
google avatar

Karina R.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite breweries. They offer a seasonal Marshmallow IPA that is amazing! Anytime we're driving through Bakersfield, we make it a point to stop here. Just wish they shipped. It's a huge space, there's a lot of picnic tables. They offer bar food like wings which are pretty tasty. Staff is friendly.

Yelp
Nolan made a FANTASTIC Old Fashioned and was awesome!! Such a great place to be. Low key and chill.
google avatar

Yelp
Great ambience and decent food. Beer selection on tap is half ipas. Could we have 1 Belgium triple in tap? The service model is kind of a pain though, you have to stand in line to order. Something more automated would really speed things up. Time from entrance to ordering..... 10 minutes. Time from ordering and getting beer to getting food...........25 minutes ............ for Brussels Sprouts and a sausage! And the sausage was terrible - Lacked flavor - course texture - and waaaay overcooked as to be dry. I asked for a small Togo box and waited 15 Minutes for it. I looked around for the server and he kept bringing additional orders out but no way to get a Togo box. I left. If they would just do beer and have free peanuts, and no constraints upon ordering they could sell 4x the beer. Better service would elevate this place to close to a 5.

Yelp
I love a brewery that is open during the week for lunch. The added benefit for us travelers is it is right off of the 99. It's a big space inside with plenty of seating. I tried a flight of beers and enjoyed their darker brews best. The others were just okay. They also have a number of other taps featuring other breweries including international. Any can be part of a flight. We enjoyed our lunch quite a bit. Besides the regular menu they have lunch specials. Order at the bar and then they bring the food to you.
google avatar

Natanya G.

Yelp
Great sandwich and fries. Pesto chicken. Wasn't too busy for lunch. The restaurant is very spacious. Friendly staff.
google avatar

Jennalle P.

Yelp
Service was amazing and the drinks were good. I like the ambiance there. Wasn't too crowded when I went and it seemed chill. The bartender, can't recall his name, was very friendly and easy going. I would go here again.

Yelp
Brewery and restaurant located on Buck Owens Blvd next to The BLVD offering cold beers and pub food. Any restaurant that has chicharrones as an appetizer has my vote! The service was great. The bartenders are very attentive. They have a sprayer that cleans the glass before they pour your beer and also rinse the sides of foam. Quite a thoughtful touch for a brewery. The blonde was very flavorful. They have event space that also has its own bar and you can keep the same tab open. This is a historical gem as described in the brick dedication and offers a cool NorCal vibe with open air seating. No servers so you order at the bar and sit with your table holder and the food is delivered to your table. During events it gets quite busy and the line to order looks nutso but they move through it quickly. Cool location and even cooler vibes! Welcome beer connoisseurs y los que beben cerveza!

Yelp
This is officially my summer spot! They have live music, line dancing and comedians! Everything I love and mix it up with beer and food what's not to lv

Yelp
Came in to have a quick date with my wife while our son and his buddy were at Flight. Hadn't been here in a bit so we immediately loved the Holiday decor, and specialty brews on tap. I had a pint of the Ricketbocker, a seasonal bock. I tried the Cotton-Headed Ninny Muggins, but that just had holiday spices added to the Ricketbocker that kind of took away from the overall taste. Neither my wife nor I were really that hungry, so we had a Chicken and Green Apple salad, and sliders with fries. Both were fantastic! The guys are the bar as always were very nice, attentive, and informative. Temblor is a true gem in Bakersfield.
google avatar

Ned L.

Yelp
Nice big place with high ceilings, view of brewing equipment to one side, lots of tables and a long bar. Service was very good, quick and helpful with beer, although slower with food. I decided on the Rickettbocker, a German bock seasonal side project, which was very good. Personally I think they have way too many sour IPAs and hazy, fruity stuff, but that's popular still for no good reason. But they also had three stouts and an imperial red ale, so I had choices. Oh, and the beer battered artichoke hearts were tender and served hot. I thought the chicken & green apple salad was expensive, but to be fair the chicken was delicious and there was plenty of it. Overall, very good, and there were families and friends enjoying lunch mid week.

Yelp
Was working in town again (6yrs last time) and had too come for a burger & beer. Started with a flight to try 5 different ones to see which was gonna be the winner of a pint. Cotton Headed Ninny Muggins was the winner. But the Bocks were close. Had the Carolina burger with the signature beef. Very good! Liked the fries also. Service was excellent. TIL next time in town, cheers, Prost
google avatar

Benjamin C.

Yelp
Really cool place. Great beers. They did make a big mistake changing their menu. This reduced item lunch menu is not it. I've been looking forward to coming here to get the Carolina burger for three months. The last time we showed up they changed their hours to 4pm. So I missed it there. Today I was locked in. I get told they have it but they cannot serve it. You lost me. The next time we discuss lunch, Temblor isn't going to be a part of the conversation. If you've never had the Carolina Burger, then you probably won't care about my review. That's cool. Come here for the cool atmosphere, great music and good drinks. Not for the food.

Yelp
Welcoming vibe, friendly services, cool decor, yummy food and many hoice of beers! Can't go wrong everytime!

Yelp
This being a brewery I'm going to score it high on the brew and ambiance side. We went with a group of 8 and it was a great place to take a group. We got one of the big tables with benches and it comfortably fit everyone. The ambiance was casual. It felt just like a brewery should. The parking lot is big enough for everyone to park and the set up inside has lots of tables and chairs to sit at. Corn hole is in the back. Chicharroenes were a strong 10/10 Great flavored and the perfect crunch Giant Soft Pretzel was another 10/10 Crispy Brussels Sprouts was a 5/10. They were whole and I didn't find them very crispy. They were more on the firm side with sauce. Beer Battered Artichoke Hearts was a 7/10 Above average, but not as good or inviting as the Chicharroenes Southwest Chicken Salad was a 5/10. It was a salad heavy on the chicken side. There wasn't enough lettuce to chicken ratio. This is probably good for those that wanted a lot of chicken, but I wanted more lettuce. I heard this comment on the apple chicken salad as well. Lettuce is cheap, they should add more in. Also it needed more dressing than the little cup they gave you. The Classic Temblor Signature beef burger was a 5/10. It was a thick burger with pickles and onions packed inside. It had some sauce on it, but I still found it dry. The fries were good. Overall I'd say come for the beer and Chicharroenes and eat dinner elsewhere.
google avatar

Sabrina J.

Yelp
This is a whole new take on restaurants. You pick your own table and order at the bar, they do bring out the food to your table. The food was super good. I very much enjoyed my Putin fries, the gravy was good and the tritip cooked perfectly but the cheese curds were the star of the show. The schnitzel was cooked to perfection. And the flatbread is a good serving size with wonderful gooey cheese in each bite. This is a great place to bring friends and family.

Yelp
Great brewery! Very large and tons of beers to choose from!! We are brewery snobs as we've probably been to over a hundred! This one ranks pretty high! We went for a comedy show and were pleasantly surprised how big the seperated venue was! The show was great and the beers were so clean! I ordered a German style and my wife a wheat beer, can't remember the names off hand now but both were high end tasting- these guy are not amateurs! They even had a large food selection that I regret not trying- after the comedies show was over food station had closed! Very clean and fun atmosphere as well!! Definitely coming back soon! Service was great as well!
google avatar

Yelp
Mostly burgers on the menu. Plenty of space because of the high Celing.i got the Philly cheesesteak sandwich that also had au juice on the side that turned it into a French dip. My wife had the regular burger and it was so big she could not finish it. You also have a choice of meat in the burger pretend meat too. Big choices of beer since the make it right there,as well as hard liquor.

Yelp
There's not much of a nightlife in Bakersfield outside of Jerry's Pizza. They had nothing going on tonight so we decided to drop in to Temblor for their 80s night. Empty dance floor. About 20 people sitting down. We might as well have a drink right? Nope, they were only permitting people who already had wristbands come in. It's 11:30PM... We were bummed because we saw some great themes coming up that we don't see anywhere outside of Jerry's. 80s night, divorced dad music night lol fun things Hope they get more business so we can actually go in next time

Yelp
Attended a Kern county Honor flight event held here and it was a great experience. The food and drinks were great, service was fast and the atmosphere was fantastic. The event included a raffle of multiple prizes along with Bingo and everyone was having a great time.
google avatar

Magdalen K.

Yelp
We had a great time here! The drinks were great, I had an IPA which I thought was delicious. We ordered a few appetizers including the nachos which were a bit lackluster (they only had onions and jalapeños which is pretty sad for nachos lol) but everything else was awesome. We loved the pretzel and the mustard that went along was amazing! I had the spicy chicken sandwich which was great. Others in our party had a beef sandwich, burger, meal nachos (which were much more loaded than the appetizer nachos), and brat. The food was ready quickly. There was a small line to order but we didn't have to wait too long. The brewery is beautiful and you can see some of the equipment inside the dining area. Everything is wooden with some modern touches. Overall we loved our experience and will return if we are ever in the area.

Yelp
Best wings in town. Great selection of beers. Friendly service and fun rustic ambiance. Me and my wife's go to place when we crave ice cold beer and great bar food.
google avatar

Rufus T F.

Yelp
Incredible atmosphere, fantastic beer selections and tasty food. They host a wide variety of activities throughout the year, they local talented musicians and comedians. It's a great place to hang with friends and enjoy the evenings. Brought my friends from Texas here and they said it was their favorite spot in our town. Best place to grab a drink and have some laughs
google avatar

Yelp
So the two IPAs they make in house are both complex, smooth little treats. The space is big, open, yet still warm. Bummer, no cans to go- making the journey for the pint a valued expedition. Good stuff here, def would recommend for brewery seekers. Strong rotating taps, solid service. Happy I was able to stop in.
google avatar

Brooke I.

Yelp
They had a live band playing all night, which was pretty loud, but a nice free concert! They played a lot of Santana and Bob Marley. Pretty rad. Not too sure if that's a common occurrence since it was my first time there, but people were definitely vibing. Orders: Shredded chicken nachos: these were amazing! The chips didn't get soggy at any point in the night. Overall, really good bar food. Flight of sours: I usually love sours, so we decided to try all the sour beers on the menu. They were all just not my jam - I will definitely stick to regular beers here. Root beer float: you can't go wrong with a root beer float. A+ Service was wonderful. The staff was super friendly, and when you order, they give you a number and bring the food to your table. I'd come back to hang out and try other things.
google avatar

Keia C.

Yelp
I came here during a lunch break with some coworkers. I haven't been here since they first opened up and it didn't make a huge impression on me. When I walked in this time I was impressed with the restaurant itself. Their menu was short and sweet and I still couldn't decide what I wanted. I decided to go light and get the California Poutine Fries. They were amazing!!! The gravy was delicious and the fries were crunchy. I also decided to get a Blood Orange Sky since it was such a hot day and that was a great selection. The beer came out nice and cold which is just what I needed! I will most definitely need to come back and try out the sweet potato fries and a different beer.

Yelp
Went here after a day of business meetings in the Bakersfield area. Nice place. Check it out.

Yelp
Decided to try this place and went on Sunday for dinner. The place was nice and cool and we got there just after 5:30 PM and it was not busy. The place is decorated with eclectic art and because it is a brewery you can see the brewery equipment and it has a nice size bar. We ordered the Carolina burger, the smoked tri-tip sandwich, and both came with french fries, and we also ordered a fountain drink and their own root beer from the tap. The people are very friendly and welcoming. The seating area has tables for two people as well as tables for four people and in some areas they were longer bigger tables available. There is outside sitting on the patio and because it's summer the misters were going, but we did not step out there to see if it felt cool. The place has concrete floors and open ceiling so the acoustics tend to be on the louder side... But you can still comfortably have a conversation with your party. Now for the food review... The Carolina burger was bomb! The hamburger patty is pretty thick and they cook it with some pink, so it was moist and delicious, honestly it tasted like a steakhouse burger. The smoked tri-tip sandwich was good however, I don't know if I would get it again. it didn't taste like it was smoked that day and some of the pieces I had were tough and chewy. You could barely tell that it was smoked. I've had better smoked tri-tip sandwiches elsewhere. The root beer was amazing! It's five dollars for a glass and worth every cent. I will definitely get that next time, and I might even get it in a root beer float. Unfortunately, they do not do refills on it so sip it slowly! Or spend five dollars every time you want to refill. Overall the place seems to have good vibes... I heard there was a concert the night before, and it seems like it would be a cool place to come and hang out. I will definitely be going back to try other things on their menu... I have my eye on their steakhouse burger! Enjoy!

Yelp
While in Bakersfield CA... Came upon this brewery located off 4200 Buck Owen's Blvd It's a bit noisy but the environment is for all ages Enjoyed a beer flight and some tasty food

Yelp
We've been coming to Temblor since we first moved to Bakersfield a couple years back. Nothing beats their chicken nachos and a cold Hazy beer! Staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is chill. I've come to a couple of their music events and trivia and it's always been a great time!
google avatar

Don T.

Yelp
The facility is in an industrial tilt-up building with an open air feeling, great for groups, with live music and other activities on certain nights. The menu was limited but the shredded chicken nachos & flatbread pizza were great. Ask for salsa with the nachos! It's not a quiet place and you won't have much privacy to have an intimate conversation but it's got an "event" type atmosphere with lots of noise and a lot of people moving around (but not in a bad way). It was noisy on the night we were there but if you have a group of people, it would be a great place to have a meal or a drink or two. I totally recommend grabbing a drink or food here if you don't mind a crowd!
google avatar

Rhiannon A.

Yelp
We come here from out of town occasionally for concerts! I love that the bands we love come here! The venue is intimate and makes the experience that much better. Any food we get is always good. The prime rib philly dip, tri tip, and chicken pesto sandwiches are fantastic. The sliders and the burgers are yummy, even offering waygu beef. They have plenty of substitutions and options to make sure everyone is happy. I especially love the brussel sprouts! The drinks are always delicious and the staff is amazing! We will always return!
google avatar

Edgar T.

Yelp
Great spot for small concert. Really enjoyed the vibes. Can't wait to go back next month to see another artist

Sonja B.

Yelp
We came here for a concert that was in a room behind the bar. The good things are there is a small bar and restrooms in the event space. Drawbacks - poor check in for the event and NO SEATING. Doors opened at 8 - music tried to get started at 8:30 but there was an issue with the sound system. This place could be kinda cool with a few chairs, benches, tables along the room perimeter. Hard to enjoy and show your appreciation for the artist with achy knees and no place to set your cocktail.
google avatar

Kiki S.

Yelp
Beer was good. Southwest Flatbread was really goo, but it took twice as long as my friends' nachos and wings which were ordered after mine! We happened to be there on a trivia night so it was fairly busy. The vibe was comfortable and people were friendly. I might go back if I'm the area again. I may try some other breweries first though.

Yelp
Temblor was a good find on our way home from a road trip. My husband loves a good brewing company. We only had time for one beer and he was suggested a west coast ipa, though I didn't hear the name, he noted it was good. I liked how large the location was. It was even nice for my son to waddle around and stretch. We ordered the fault line burger, prime rib dip, and kids chicken tenders. We also had the fried artichoke hearts for an appetizer. The artichoke hearts I'd give a 4/5 overall. They were perfectly fried with just enough batter to not make it just breading. The spicy sauce was a bit much and I didn't feel like it added much. I mixed with the ranch and it was a bit better. I wish they had a garlic aioli instead. The fault line burger was maybe a 3/5. The flavors and concept were great but the burger was so overdone that it was dry and took away from the creative combination. Though I will say they didn't ask how we wanted our burger cooked, it still seemed too dry. The prime rib dip is a must. 5/5 It was the best thing we had. I can't even so more. GET THIS! The chicken tenders were as expected for a kid. 3/5. It had big pieces so my 1.5 year old couldn't eat it all. More for me and my husband. All the dishes came with some fries and I don't know how but those are the best fries. Not too soggy or overly crispy. The perfect fry. We ate all the fries we could and took some for the road. Well done. 5/5!

Yelp
Temblor is one of our favorite breweries in Bakersfield. They recently switched to cocktails and carrying other brewery beers which is cool. I miss when they had more of their own beer selections but I always find something I enjoy. The Soft & Fluffy is my favorite by Temblor. The food is alway good. Delicious burgers. Fried artichoke hearts are super yummy! Great vibes and nice bartenders! Check it out!

Yelp
Leaving this review after my second visit. First time here was awesome. Good variety of beer and food was great. I was really looking forward to coming back. The second time was a disappointment. Completely dead on a Tuesday evening. Service was just plain slow considering the place was empty. Nice place to grab a beer if you've got time to kill, cause it'll take awhile.
google avatar

Jean G.

Yelp
Best IPA I've had in my entire beer drinking experience. Thank you to our tender Michael for looking out for us. The kitchen closed early and after a long day of traveling he recommended local eats. Don't miss this stop if you love a good beer.

Yelp
The place was a very unique bar made specifically for those who love events! If you are looking at this review on Yelp, we'll then there is a good chance that this is you. I came here for a morning yoga class and was happy to stick around encapsulated by both the decorations and the drinks. I tried this marshmallow beer which was surprisingly delicious! They have an event board that is always buzzing with intriguing experiences! The bartenders were great at fielding our newbie questions and giving good recommendations! The business owners and staff are doing a great job with the place!

Yelp
Price: $ Service: Good. You order food and drinks at the bar counter and they'll bring the food out to your table. Food: We ordered nachos, poutine fries, and pepperoni flatbread. The poutine is a MUST. It comes with cheese curds as well which were delicious!! Ambiance: Love the vibes here! Nice environment to catch up with friends. Overall, would definitely come back here!

Yelp
Big fan of this brewery up until today. My server, Trace, asked another customer "Are you racist?" when the TV programming changed from NFL football to Family Feud with Steve Harvey and the customer said "Hell yeah." I thought Trace was joking but he immediately changed the channel. Although I understand that everyone is entitled to their opinion, there is a time and place to express it and work is not a place to do that. Trace should NOT be working here.
