Google
I consider myself a pretty fair critic especially for chocolate.... These chocolates came off very average to me and even a little pricey ($3.25/piece, if I recall correctly). The chocolate shell on the "truffles" were very thin and toned down in flavor than I expected from other reviews. It is a very cute shop and they seem to support other brands in house as well. Design and presentation are excellent, flavor profiles just need to come through more in my opinion. Give them a try!

Google
Wow. Beautiful artisanal chocolates! Amazing hot chocolate options as well. So yummy and flavorful

Google
Huge selection of desserts both fresh and packaged. They are all very beautifully decorated too but not too much. Any type of chocolate bar or truffle you can think of, they probably have it: milk, dark, white, vegan, spicy, fruity, etc. They even offer mini bars so you can taste it before buying a full-size bar. Want to request custom chocolate for an event? They provide catering service as well. My top favourite things about this place were 1. The white chocolate waffle and 2. The fact that the cashier when I was there knew how to sign.

Nestled inside the Central Market in Denver's art district...looking for a sweet treat? Chocolate lovers will think they have died and gone to heaven. Quite the selection of French style bonbons made onsite, and a collection of chocolate bars from around the country and world perfect as a gift or to treat yourself!

Google
I cannot get enough of Temper Chocolate and Confections’ variety of artistic and tasty craft chocolate bonbons. The head chocolatier, Anna Martinez, has come up with gorgeous and exquisite creations. I’ve met the owner, Mark Callahan, who’s friendly and cares very much about everything going on at Temper. And the people working there are very friendly, helpful, and kind. They also offer a bunch of other prepackaged chocolate and sweet treats. I highly recommend this place.

Google
Drove from Boulder to buy the Colorado flag truffles I saw on Instagram and tik tok . When I arrived The market was really quiet I was the only one at the chocolate shop. The worker didn’t acknowledge me when I walked up- I got her attention asked for the chocolates told her I drove just for them for gifts and she said we don’t have them today - why didn’t you call before you drove here. Um that’s a wild response . so I picked out what they had and she seemed put off. Won’t shop here again🙃

Google
I bought 2 of the chocolates. They were good. They are so beautiful. I had one that was a blood orange caramel inside. That one was okay. I had another one that had a salted chocolate inside. That one was my favorite. The person working was super nice and professional. I'd go back and try something else.

Google
Absolutely amazing artisan chocolates! So visually appealing and wonderfully flavorful. We purchased a variety, with our favorite being the Old School.

Yelp
I tried this LESBIAN chocolate with mango tajin filling. it was sooo delicious. A little pricey, its $3.50 for each little chocolate. but very yummy and happy pride

Yelp
Temper chocolates make for a delicious treat to yourself and a beautiful and delicious gift for others. Each chocolate is so pretty, and tastes equally as good as it looks. They have a ton of gluten-free options which are all yummy (I have tried many), and they made the perfect gift for our cousin when visiting her house for dinner, we never want to show up empty handed!

Yelp
This is the spot for luxury chocolates. Their bonbons are so delicious and come in so many fun flavors that change with the season. Perfect for gifting at any holiday. They also have many other chocolate treats that are perfect for snacking or indulging. A must-try!

Yelp
So many to choose from. Be sure to ask for recommendations. The white chocolate we got was the better of the two. The dark chocolate was too strong lol

Yelp
I was looking for a chocolate shop that had ganaches that I could take back as a gift. Temper is a counter in the Central Market basically right when you step in. I don't know why I missed it when I first came in but it's hard to miss with their display cases that had exactly what I was looking for. Their varieties not only have interesting flavor combinations but just as interesting/cheeky names to match. I was going to use the build your own box of a dozen but I saw that there was a Colorado themed box-none of which are available for individual purchase which I found odd. I narrowed my initial choice down to six so I could get the pre-mixed Colorado collection. The other six were harder to choose, I lost steam after easily choosing four. I asked for some recommendations but the person behind the counter either was reluctant to give his personal favorites or make any recs. They were wrapped up but my box of pick 'ems weren't written down. I took some photos but one of them was unaccounted for. While I locked the chocolates I wish the service was a little friendlier.

Yelp
Like others mentioned, Temper is not a storefront, but a counter at the market. Parking is fairly easy though and Temper's counter is immediately in front upon entrance. I was greeted with a smile and was taken through my different choices when it came to chocolate. Prices are a bit steeper than what I would expect for chocolates in Denver, but the flavor profiles are creative and the chocolates themselves look like little pieces of art. One star taken off due to pricing and no samples available when we were there!

Yelp
I love early birthday surprises! My friend brought me a treat today for and early gift and made my day! All 6 of these chocolate ganache represent Colorado in some way. I love the details on these chocolates. Now that I got these I'm so excited to go to downtown to the store itself so I can all of them. The Colorado Rockies had the purple and tasted like a Carmel ganache with Valrhona sweet milk. Freaking amazing and words can't describe the sweet sensation! I'm definitely eating and enjoying my chocolates and can't wait to visit the store.

Yelp
Good selection of craft chocolates and their own bon bon selection. A little pricey but not outrageous

Yelp
If you're ever in Denver and have some time to explore, and you're a chocolate lover, or casual fan, or never had chocolate but remember the one time you saw someone eating chocolate and thought to yourself, I would like to try chocolate some day, then head over to The Denver Central Market. Find a place to park on any of the area streets (lots of free parking) and find the Market entrance because you won't find a storefront for Temper Chocolates, you'll have to go inside. Once inside the open air market, there will be people everywhere. Some seated, eating and some shopping at the various vendors. Spot the chocolate shop customers gazing at the eye popping creations. Okay, so you're here, they have chocolates, you want chocolates, no, you need to try these chocolates and that's it. You're still reading this? The discussion is over.

Yelp
Glorious chocolate options, from bars with lots of additions (nuts, durian, bourbon...) to chocolate covered things like pretzels and marshmallows to over a dozen creative flavors of bon bons. I opted for a box of four that I curated. My favorites were the Cherry Bomb and Yuzu Talking to Me. One thing to note, the store itself is in the Denver Market. You will it see a sign from the outside, and if you go inside from Larimer Street you will run straight into it.

Yelp
I was missing some gourmet, fancy pretty looking chocolate like they have back home. FoCo is lacking in this dept, however I will gladly drive the 45 mins to Denver to get my hands on some of this chocolate! I absolutely love their flavor combos, and of course the chocolate itself is almost too pretty to eat!

Yelp
Located inside Denver Central Market, it's a cute little area. They have a variety of chocolates. And they look very nice. But customer service is not too good and I love chocolate don't get me wrong. But it's not really good. I'm a chocolate person, and recommend Miette. But Tempers is more darker and kinda bitter. I love dark chocolate too but Tempers don't taste good. I tried them 3 times and gave up, I thought maybe I got a bad piece. Overall I don't like it. And I just pass this place when I am inside the market now.

Yelp
Adorable and nice chocolate place in The Denver Central Market! They have varieties of chocolates, chocolate bars, and chocolate covered everything! Was delighted to see that they have chocolate covered blueberries which is hard to find elsewhere, tried and quite enjoyed it! Very refreshing blueberries inside covered in decant milk chocolate! Match made in chocolate heaven!

Yelp
Temper is located at the Denver Central Market and they're delicious! Temper Chocolates is a chocolate lovers DREAM. Their chocolates are incredibly tasty and the variety of options will satisfy any true chocolate lovers palate. Whether you want a chocolate covered marshmallow, mini bars, pretzels or speciality pieces of chocolate - they have it all. They also have a variety of chocolate types (dark, white, regular, etc.). If you're in Denver you have to check them out and let me know what you think! xoxo, @rondaexplores

Yelp
Awesome chocolate shop in the Denver Central Market. Along with the store made bon bons and other goodies, they have other chocolate brands that are high quality and they have a nice selection. I got a box of 6 different bonbons and they were so delicious! Very nicely made and very beautiful designs. I especially loved the flaming lips, a spicy pineapple flavored one! Will be back to try other flavors and to look at their beautiful chocolates!

Yelp
I've been gifted these beautiful chocolates twice now and they are absolutely stunning. If you're looking for a gorgeous gift or a treat yourself moment, this is the spot. The flavors are so spot on and unique. I don't think I have a specific favorite yet! Most recently, I tried the black Betty and that was great! The filling is caramel topped with hawaiian lava sea salt. It's hard to miss this spot in denver central market, it's right when you walk in!

Yelp
my recent experience at this chocolate store was far from satisfactory. Although the chocolate on display was visually appealing, the level of service provided by the staff left much to be desired. The employee in question appeared to be poorly trained in customer service and lacked even the most basic interpersonal skills. The employee's attitude towards customers was extremely poor and, in my opinion, one of the worst I have ever encountered. Instead of greeting me with a warm welcome, he seemed uninterested in my presence and barely acknowledged my arrival. Throughout my interaction with him, he came across as indifferent and unhelpful, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Given the poor level of service and lack of professionalism displayed by the employee, I would not recommend this establishment to others. It is my sincere hope that the management takes the necessary steps to improve the quality of their staff, to ensure that their customers are provided with a pleasant and satisfactory experience.

Yelp
I can't get over how amazing these Bon Bon and their variety of Chocolate Bars from around the world they offer. It is inside The Denver Central Market right upon entrance. I bought a few Chocolate Bars from Thomas Keller to Rocco Chocolates to other brands as well as their beautiful handcrafted Bon Bon's. They were my special treat for my friends and I for Valentine's Day. There wasn't a single one that I wouldn't try again. It was also a great test of my self-control, remembering that these little beauties come with a high price tag. Each little piece of chocolate is bursting with flavor. They have unique combinations, as well as your standard favorites - just elevated. They are all a work of art as well. Again, I feel compelled to mention that they come with a high price tag but for a unique gift or treat; totally worth it! The reason why I drop a star is simply of how rude their employee was. I understand COVID rules in the market is to buy your items and eat them outside but the way and tome she said it with; was just plain rude! If you were having a bad day for working on Valentine's Day do not take your anger at customers!

Yelp
I've never been a fan of truffles but this place has amazing high quality chocolates that are as beautiful as they are delicious. The fillings are not too sweet, but just right. Once in awhile this is a really nice treat. They offer boxes for 4 chocolates as well. Their flavors also rotate seasonally so there's always something new. The pictures I took were right after New Years. And yes, if they have a banana flavor it's REAL BANANA, not fake ass flavoring so I appreciated that a lot. Their chocolates make wonderful gifts too!

Yelp
I walked away with 3 chocolates. After eating 2 I went back for SEVERAL more. They put it in a little gift box, but it was a gift for ME. Each was a delight (aside from the watermelon one, which was "meh"), but the standout was the Flaming Lips: a pineapple, ghost pepper, and chocolate party for your mouth. It's one of my favorite chocolates of all time!

Yelp
We decided to pick up a few chocolates to take back to the hotel since the kids love fancy chocolates. These were so beautiful they caught our eye. We saw a creamsicle one and we had to try it, we are creamsicle fans. We ended up getting 6 chocolates (that's the minimum for a box otherwise it comes in a bag). I believe we got 3 creamsicle, 1 John Lemon & a cherry one, and a dark chocolate with caramel. I couldn't remember the flashy names. I only tried the creamsicle and it tasted pretty good. My daughter said the other ones were good too. They were very delicate and broke easily but so pretty to look at. Solid chocolates located inside the Central Market Place.

Yelp
The chocolates were alright, but the manager of this place sucked! Total butt basket, he treated his employees badly.

Yelp
Grabbed a few chocolate covered pretzels and the most beautiful shiny bonbon. The names of the treats cracked me up and the flavors were unique and delicious!

Yelp
Delicious artisan chocolate bon bons and some other specialty sweets exist here in Denver central market. They make these in house behind the counter. I got 7 bon bons for $25 which is not bad at all (with taxation). So far I am enjoying the dark chocolate mint bon bon with its explosive flavor. The little mint leaf bits make me almost confused that I consumed an edible somehow... this is some smooth dark chocolate but they do have milk and white options. Go get some chocolate! It's good

Yelp
Every time I go to Denver Central Market I "accidentally" end up wandering over to Temper and looking at the chocolates. The last time I was in they had a bit of a different spread, which Included chocolate dipped pretzel sticks and marshmallows. Being the chocolate addict that I am, I had to buy at least 4 of the shiny tempting chocolates from their gorgeous spread and I also picked up some malted milk balls as a gift that I'm sad I have to give away. The four chocolates I got included the white rabbit, Queen Bey, Black Betty, and one with whiskey that I can't remember the name of (pictures included). All of them were delicious. The black betty was a classic salted caramel and it immediately melted in your mouth. Queen Bey exploded with lavender flavor as you bit into it but was not overwhelming. The whiskey chocolate was delicious but for me, it had a bit too much orange in it, although I still really enjoyed it. Finally, the white rabbit had juniper flavors in it, which were confusing to me in relation to chocolate. I liked it overall but it took a minute for me to make sense of the flavors. Looking forward to wandering back towards Temper soon to spend more of the money I don't have on uniquely flavored chocolate.

Yelp
It's chilly outside & their hot chocolate is heaven in a cup! Also had a couple morsels of chocolate; Van Gogh's Starry Night. Excellent! Sorry no pic! Ate & drank too fast!

Yelp
Temper chocolates are good quality and unique flavors. The rose flavored is my favorite, but use caution because sometimes you don't always get a filled chocolate. I got a lavender bonbon and it was only a shell.

Yelp
Chocolate lover will have to try the bon bon. They burst with flavors. I like all flavors! It's as good as the bon bon from Kreuther Chocolate in NYC.

Yelp
This is as good as Chocolate gets people! I highly recommend absolutely everything made at this little shop in the Market. The prices are right on point for high quality chocolate as most people do not know their standard Hershy's bar, ETC is mostly fake chocolate and that is why it is cheap. The artistry and craftsmanship that goes into every chocolate is truly outstanding! Very good job to the staff for their incredible contributions to Colorado and Denver food! Would recommend this place every day of the week to a choco-holic! I got my Chocolates from Rachel, one of the employees and her work looked and tasted amazing!

Maddie B.

Yelp
Kayla was very kind & friendly. I tried the chocolate "born this way" & the marshmallow with graham cracker (both her suggestion) and I scarfed them down with delight. :) Yummo! Thanks !

John H.

Yelp
This was GREAT chocolate. I won major points for the chocolate valentines box. Every piece of chocolate was like a piece of art. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Jason T.

Yelp
Really delicious chocolates. Really glad I found this place. I'm a chocolate connoisseur and definitely think their selections is premium.
google avatar

Yelp
How can you not love this place? They make some (not all) of their candies right there in house. Everything is fun and delicious. They really have their candy and confection game down! Worth a stop if you're in the Denver Central Market or RiNo district.
google avatar

Chris K.

Yelp
Amazing chocolatier in the Rino neighborhood... highly recommend the Black Betty! ;)

Josie M.

Yelp
We had the Queen B- a small chocolate with flavors including lavender and dark chocolate. We also tasted a chai-flavored small chocolate. Both were fantastic. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a treat after a meal at the central market. We would have given it five stars if they had a fresh mint chocolate piece. Overall, exquisite!
google avatar

Laura B.

Yelp
Didn't love this place, tried of the seven of the chocolates today and the flavor and texture wasn't great.

Yelp
Yum! Seriously sooooo yum! I ordered a big box of chocolates and some chocolate covered strawberries for our wedding night. Temper even coordinated with our hotel to have the goodies delivered to our hotel and waiting for us. The quality of these chocolates is incredible! Everything they make with caramel is delicious- they have the smoothest, softest caramel I've ever had. The flavors come through so beautifully- I just ate the passion fruit one and such a yummy passion fruit flavor lingers on your tongue at the end in the best possible way. I would highly recommend for any special event (or even sitting on my couch watching football... like I am now with our leftover chocolates). Most places have chocolate covered strawberries that have this tough difficult chocolate shell that just gets more in the way, but these chocolate covered strawberries from Temper have such a smooth chocolate coating that is the total highlight of the bite! I'll definitely be ordering again!
